Kanye West Host Secret Yeezy Season 10 Fashion Show

Kanye West has returned to the fashion scene in classic Ye fashion. Following a controversial 2022, the rap mogul hosted a secret fashion show. The quiet unveiling of his Yeezy Season 10 collection was at a secret location in Los Angeles, California. It was billed as “YZY FREE.” Compared to his prior fashion show with Yeezy Season 9 and his infamous “White Lives Matter” shirt, this was quite the change of pace.

As reported by Highsnobiety, the “extremely low-key affair barely revealed any clothing or fashion designs at all. Instead, the focus was on a group of skinhead models wearing skin-tight white T-shirts with black pants.” Those that attended the event nabbed footage of the event, which was held in an empty warehouse on Melrose Ave (wow). Moreover, the videos showed the models holding candles as Frank Ocean’s “Self Control” caressed the sound system in the background. However, it was reported that Ye was not present himself. Although, he was there to help set up with his new wife Bianca Censori.

Additionally, a viral photo was taken of the rap genius in a retro Umbro Manchester United jacket, and what looks like black leggings. You can peep how the night went above. Furthermore, the surprise inconspicuous event comes just seven months after Kanye West’s last fashion show. Ye held his Yeezy Season 9 fashion show in Paris back in October and garnered many mixed reviews. The rapper came under fire after rocking a “White Lives Matter” shirt at the event.

Proceeding the event many celebrities expressed their distaste. Diddy called Ye out over the garment sparking words between the two moguls. Moreover, the G.O.O.D music exec claimed that Puff was somehow being controlled by Jewish media. Not only that, this was the beginning of the end, as Ye began to make more antisemitic comments on social media and in interviews. However, due to the inflammatory remarks, he lost a ton of deals along the way. Rihanna & A$AP Rocky’s Met Gala After-Party Looks May Be More Iconic Than Their Red Carpet Fits

The responses to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s two Met Gala appearances together have been mixed. In 2021, the famous pair went with oversized vibes. The rapper used a blanket as a cloak while his partner wore an extra-long Balenciaga coat, keeping herself concealed. They previously skipped out on appearing in 2022. This year, however, Rihanna made it clear she would be stepping out in style. Last weekend, she teased the big news in a vintage Chanel outfit during a dinner in New York. Some have said that Rih’s prelude look was even better than the one she served at the main event.

While her extravagant, floral design, accessorized with eyelash-clad sunglasses obviously wasn’t for everyone, the look the expecting mother wore for Dua Lipa’s after-party has the internet singing her praise. The all-white set was put together just for Rihanna by Chrome Hearts. It comfortably conceals her upper half while allowing her budding baby bump to sit above the matching skirt, which comes with a flirtatious slit up the front.

Throughout her second pregnancy, Rihanna continues to wear heels – these ones beautifully lacing up around her calves. Her accessories included white rectangle sunglasses, elegant pearls, and a small clutch. As for Rocky, his late-night look included jeans (though these ones weren’t bedazzled like the ones he wore on the red carpet), work under a beige trench coat, and a tie. He kept the details simple, matching his thick black boots to the sunglasses shielding his eyes from the paparazzi cameras.

While they brought him out and about plenty during their time in Paris, Baby Fenty stayed at home during his parent’s night out in NYC. Earlier on in her pregnancy, the soon-to-be mother of two shared a photo of her oldest on IG crying, joking that he was upset over being stuck at home during the Oscars while the sibling growing in her tummy got to sing on stage with her. Thee Hotties were nothing short of enthusiastic when Megan Thee Stallion made her Met Gala debut back in 2021. The following year, the Houston native also stepped out for the annual star-studded event, looking as radiant as ever in a glowing, golden gown. Seeing as she’s been consistently spotted at major events, and officially made her return to the stage over the past few months, many thought we’d see her at 2023’s party. On Tuesday (May 2) afternoon, Thee Stallion’s feed lit up with a photo dump showing off her toned, thick body in a selection of stylish looks. To start, we see the Houston native in a black look that’s perfect for vacation, completely baring her midsection thanks to a massive cutout in the middle. Following that, she proved her versatility in a multi-coloured curve-hugging dress, this one with a flirtatious slit running straight up the middle of her inner thigh.

The “Cash Shit” rapper’s brunette afro looks stunning in all of the images, but especially the third in which she teases plenty of cleavage in a sparkly silver dress. Elsewhere, we see her confidently snapping selfies wearing brands like Diesel and Gucci, letting her body-ody-ody do the talking instead of writing a caption. In the latter half of her carousel, Thee Stallion showed off her makeup skills with a pretty pastel beat in time for spring, as well as a bare face card to prove she doesn’t need cosmetics to look good.

Accessories are obviously important to the 28-year-old too, as she showed us with her quilted Chanel bag and flashy collection of ice stacked on her left wrist and fingers. After a long day of shopping, she posed alongside bags from stores like Chanel, Valentino, and Saint Laurent, before stepping out for dinner with a friend. Nicki Minaj Pays Tribute To Karl Lagerfeld After Skipping 2023 Met Gala

After seeing her make a bold return to the red carpet dressed by Riccardo Tisci’s Burberry in 2022, The Barbz were hopeful that Nicki Minaj would be in attendance at this year’s Met Gala. Several of our favourite rap divas stepped out for the special occasion, including Ice Spice and Yung Miami, as well as Cardi B. Rihanna was at the function too, arriving fashionably late, as she and A$AP Rocky have previously become known to do. Anna Wintour’s theme of choice was a tribute to her late friend Karl Lagerfeld, and while Minaj wasn’t at the Met last night, she did share some of her fond memories with the fallen fashion icon on Instagram.

“I set trends from Queens to Beijing 🇨🇳,” the mother of one wrote in the caption of her photo dump, which begins with a throwback photo from an ELLE Magazine photoshoot with Lagerfeld. “I’m not the one who do the imitating,” Minaj added before revealing that she’s got a music video dropping on Tuesday (May 2) for “Alone” at 4 PM ET. Her other carousel selections chiefly include more snapshots with the Chanel designer, proving that they forged a heartwarming friendship in the later years of his life.

Minaj also made sure to remind followers of some of her past iconic outfits, proving that she’s always been a style star – Met Gala invite or not. It remains unclear if the Trinidadian simply opted to skip out on showing up (as many celebrities, including Beyoncé, seemingly did), or if she was one of the names cut from Wintour’s uber-exclusive guest list. Ice Spice’s Debut Met Gala Look Is Giving “Princess Diana”

The Met Gala has barely begun, but already, we’re seeing what may be some of the evening’s most impressive looks. Co-chair Michaela Coel absolutely stunned in a golden Schiaparelli gown. Elsewhere, La La Anthony undeniably gave major goddess in her white gown. A fresher face who we’re excited to see make their debut at the event today (May 1) is Ice Spice, who was specially selected as Anna Wintour’s guest for the evening.

The 23-year-old worked with designers at Balmain for her gown, which came with a train that looks almost as long as another of the rap diva. It’s a relatively simple white piece, with flirtatious, sheer panels of fabric running along either side of her body. The elegant yet statement-making piece feels fitting following the arrival of her “Princess Diana (Remix)” with Nicki Minaj. If anyone deserves the title of the people’s princess in 2023, it’s obviously Ice Spice – especially in this dress.

Rather than wearing her hair in the famous red curls we’ve come to love, the “Bikini Bottom” hitmaker opted for a sleek, straight look with side-swept bangs. Fans were quick to notice that she’s not carrying a purse in hand for once, as she frequently does in her photos. Instead, she’s got a bedazzled camera, perhaps for capturing memories from her first time inside the Met Gala on film to cherish (and hopefully share on Instagram).

After sauntering down the carpet and sitting pretty for plenty of photos, the rising star briefly spoke with La La Anthony. “I’m just so grateful,” she gushed of her experience so far. “I was really nervous, like, approaching the carpet. Rihanna’s Met Gala Fitting Involved $25M In Cartier Jewels, Sources Say

The Met Gala has been taking place for decades now. Still, in recent years, a handful of regular attendees have become known as the best-dressed among the rest. Within the group, you’ll find names like Blake Lively (who’s confirmed to be staying home this year), as well as Zendaya. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and of course, Rihanna are also on the list. The Bad Gal’s first time attending the New York event was way back in 2007. However, her looks from years like 2015 (designed by Guo Pei) and 2018 (from John Galliano) are far more memorable.

Seeing as she skipped out on the 2022 Met Gala, many were unsure if we’d see Rihanna walk the red carpet – especially now that she’s expecting her second child with A$AP Rocky. Thankfully, she confirmed in a very bold way on Saturday (April 28) that we’ll be seeing her. She’ll likely be in Chanel at tonight’s function, which is paying tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld. At the time, she stepped out for dinner in a vintage look from the French brand’s F/W 1994 collection. It came complete with monogrammed sunglasses and a larger-than-life black and white fuzzy hat.

“Not even Monday,” the 35-year-old wrote in the caption of her latest Instagram post, hinting that her next fashion moment could be even wilder. According to Page Six sources, it may be far more sparkly too. Rihanna is rumoured to have played around with $25 million worth of Cartier jewels during her 3 AM fitting. It remains unclear at this time if she’ll be wearing just the diamonds – which certainly wouldn’t be surprising knowing her sultry style choices – or if they’re simply to accessorize whatever else she’s put together from the archives. Regardless, we’re beyond eager to see how she, and her budding baby bump, look in the coming hours.

Rihanna will certainly be in good company. Both Ice Spice and Kim Kardashian have already made it clear that they’ll be stepping out in their best-dressed too. The latter was seen exploring the city with her eldest daughter, North West, causing some to speculate that the 9-year-old may make her debut along with the “Princess Diana” hitmaker. North West Visits NYC With Kim Kardashian, Fans Think 9-Year-Old May Attend Met Gala

At just nine years old, North West has a resume that some adults can only dream of. The young fashionista is certainly afforded with plenty of opportunities thanks to her nepo baby status, but that doesn’t mean the world hasn’t enjoyed watching every one of her creative endeavours. In the past, she’s been on stage with stars like Sia and Katy Perry, as well as her dad, Kanye West, and she’ll even be making her feature film debut alongside her mom in the coming months. Aside from all of that, speculation is now brewing that North will be in attendance at tonight’s (May 1) annual Met Gala.

Earlier this year, reports claimed that none of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters will be walking the red carpet for the 2023 event. Kim shut that down a few days ago with an Instagram post detailing her costume-choosing process. Now, she’s been hanging out in New York City with North. Rather than her famous siblings, the SKIMS founder brought Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, along for the trip to care for his daughter, Penelope. Cameras caught the family members on Saturday (April 29), all wearing beautiful Chanel outfits while adventuring through the Big Apple.

It remains unclear if we’ll be seeing the Kardashian cousins along with hundreds of other famous faces at Anna Wintour’s function this evening, though they’re obviously still getting in on the Karl Lagerfeld couture fun. Penelope’s mom only attended for the first time in 2022, though Kim has been a staple since first attending with Ye in the early days of their relationship. It remains unclear which fashion house she’ll be wearing later tonight, though the double C’s on her weekend outfit may be an indication of what’s to come.

Saweetie Is “Ready To Play” In Sultry New Leather-Clad IG Photo Dump

If Saweetie has heard the haters poking fun at her FIBA World Cup performance online, she certainly isn’t letting them get her down. Last week, the Icy Girl took to the stage at the international basketball event in the Philippines, performing a majorette-inspired version of her hit single, “Tap In.” In a video posted to her Instagram page, she revealed what the choreography looked like in rehearsal, comparing that to how things went on stage. While she undeniably gave it her best, some internet trolls pointed out that her skin-tight costume appeared to be causing some problems.

As the unwarranted opinions about her outfit and body continued to pour in, the California native pulled on another curve-hugging fashion statement before heading out for a fun night with friends in Manila. “Ready to play 😈,” she wrote in her caption, kicking off the carousel with a snapshot of the rap diva checking out her glamorous appearance in the mirror. For her FIBA show, Saweetie had long, brown hair flowing down her body, though she later changed that up in favour of a mint green wig styled with bangs and adorable buns on either side of her head.

In the subsequent selections, we see the Grammy-nominated lyricist showing off her bodacious behind in a black leather mini-skirt, notably looking back at the camera from above. While cruising down the city’s streets, Saweetie sticks her body out the window, flaunts her perfectly toned stomach, and sips on a drink while laying on top of a luxury car. She’s known to have fun everywhere that she goes, but it looks as though her time in Manila so far has really been one for the books.

It remains unclear how long the 29-year-old will be spending overseas, though she’ll certainly want to get home quickly to reunite with her rumoured new boo.
