Kanye West’s travels around Europe unlocked something in him, for better or worse considering his recent controversies. Regardless, fans went wild when they heard new reports that Yeezy is working on a new album, which seems to be manifesting. Moreover, he recently previewed new music at the Mowalola SS 2024 Fashion Show in London, and it sounds a tad different to what you might expect. Of course, this isn’t the first time that he worked with trap aesthetics- very far from it, in fact. Still, given suggestions that the 46-year-old is working with older sounds, it struck some fans as an interesting misdirection.

Whether that’s actually the case or we’re getting more of the same Donda 2 filler remains to be seen. Either way, fans split up into two different camps: those who want to hear what Ye does and those who are more interested in what Ye says. As revered as Kanye West’s production is, it’s no surprise that many fans will more closely scrutinize the lyrical content given his antisemitic rhetoric. With lines like “P***y like a Steph three, straight water / Baby, what’s the killer price? Kevin Costner,” it seems like we’ll only find out where he’s going when (or rather, if) the project drops.

Another aspect to consider is how relatively low-profile the Chicago MC has been as a result of all of this. Most of the media’s recent coverage around him concerns his relationship and often provocative fit-matching with Bianca Censori. Their travels around Italy netted them a lot of controversy for their actions and public displays. They recently stopped by Germany, too, so it seems that their European travels are taking them everywhere.

Meanwhile, if there really is a rollout cycle here, history suggests that we’re still very far from an album. Yandhi‘s promised and then canceled drop, plus the heap of examples before and after it, created a hole in many fans’ hearts. The difference here, though, is that there’s a lot more at stake, and even an MBTDF moment won’t erase his abhorrent actions. Lori Harvey And Teyana Taylor Serve Looks At NYFW

Lori Harvey and Teyana Taylor recently linked up, posing for photos at the PrettyLittleThing runway show in NYC and turning heads in their all-black getups. Harvey rocked a sheer plunging black gown, paired with a set of black velvet gloves. The creative director showed out in a suit-inspired gown, complete with satin details. Both complimented their looks with some eye-catching gold accessories. The duo showcased pieces from the brand’s recent collaboration with supermodel Naomi Campbell.

The PrettyLittleThing fashion show displayed the new collaboration between the brand and Campbell, who even took the runway for a spin herself. She admits that even for her, the walk was quite the undertaking. Campbell says it was “nerve-wracking to do that walk — on every level,” adding, however, that “this is what [she] wanted.” The collection is inspired by Campbell’s iconic ’90s looks, and showcases the pieces on an array of diverse bodies. PrettyLittleThing describes the Naomi Campbell collab on their website, stating that, “This collection will bring all the attitude and provide all the statement pieces that will take your wardrobe to a whole new level.”

Lori Harvey And Teyana Taylor At PrettyLittleThing Runway Show

It’s clear that both Taylor and Harvey kicked off New York Fashion Week right. As of late, Taylor has also dipped her toe back into performing, recently appearing as a guest headliner at Afropunk Brooklyn. She got emotional during her set, telling fans “I’m outside.” The singer continued, “I always get scared to headline festivals because I never think anybody will stay for me. I just wanna thank y’all so much for staying out in this hot-a** weather for me.”

Harvey, on the other hand, has been busy flaunting her relationship with Damson Idris on social media. Most recently, she celebrated the British actor’s 32nd birthday with a sweet social media post. “Happyyyy Birthdayyyy twinnnnn!!!! I love youuuuuu,” the model wrote on her Instagram Story. Tyler, The Creator Unimpressed By Fan In New Video

Celebrities showed out in bunches for the Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week show on Tuesday. The show marked Pharrell’s debut as the Head of Menswear at Louis V and many of his friends were there in support. Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Pusha T, and Tyler, The Creator all showed up. Tyler, The Creator, Jay-Z, and even Pharrell himself performed during the event. Like any similar gathering of stars videos from all around the event have been emerging in the past few days.

In one video in particular Tyler, The Creator refuses to engage with a fan’s bit. At some point during the show, a fan tried to approach Tyler and start some kind of conversation about fashion. While Tyler is polite enough to smile and hear him out, his patience doesn’t last much longer than that. What the fan seems to be even more upset by is the fact that Tyler leaves him hanging with a handshake. Fans in the comments mostly stood up for Tyler, saying that he did not need to be a part of the fan’s video.

A few weeks ago, Tyler, The Creator took aim at some of his own fans online and at “rap Twitter” as a whole. In a podcast appearance, Tyler identified numerous things that hip-hop fans do online that bother him. Among his grievances are top 5 rapper lists and fans who pretend to like albums just because they’re “classics.” He specifically cites artists like Wu-Tang Clan and Notorious B.I.G as examples of artists people pretend to like because they’re supposed to.

On that same podcast, Tyler called his debut album Goblin “terrible.” The album has been out for over a decade now and despite the many fans who still have love for it, Tyler doesn’t feel the same. Beyonce And Kelly Rowland Perfectly In Sync In Paris

The Louis Vuitton fashion show kicked off Paris Fashion Week last night and celebrities showed out in spades. Given that Pharrell was making his debut as Head of Menswear with the luxury company it was a musical event to behold. Before the show, Rihanna was named the face of the new campaign and she showed up with boyfriend A$AP Rocky. Pusha T and his brother walked in the show and debuted a new Clipse song. There was a concert afterward where Pharrell, Tyler, The Creator, and even Jay-Z performed.

Unsurprisingly, Beyonce was in attendance too. While her stylish look certainly got her plenty of attention there’s another video making the rounds that fans might be even more interested in. The video shows queen Bea and fellow Destiny’s Child alum Kelly Rowland showing off some choreographed dance moves. While the choreography is admittedly not very involved, it still made for a wholesome clip of the two enjoying their time at the show together.

Beyonce And Kelly Rowland Are All Vibes

Beyonce’s clip wasn’t the only video of a celebrity dancing that made the rounds following the Louis Vuitton show. A video started circulating of Kim Kardashian dancing to a song during Jay-Z’s performance. While seemingly innocuous, fans were quick to notice that the song was “N*ggas In Paris,” which features her ex-husband Kanye West. Another video from Jay-Z’s performance also went viral after he asked the audience to clap along to a beat. When they couldn’t keep in time Jay-Z comedically declared that they just “forget the clap.”

Beyonce has been relatively quiet in terms of new music so far this year. Her only releases have been a pair of remixes of songs from her album Renaissance which dropped last year. The first is a “wetter” version of the fan-favorite track “CUFF IT.” The second and more substantial was a full remix of “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM,” with a new guest verse from Kendrick Lamar. Jay-Z Tells Fans To Stop Clapping After They Can’t Stay On Beat

Pharrell’s debut collection as head of Louis Vuitton Menswear was unveiled at a massive event in Paris last night. Celebrities piled on top of each other at the event which meant there was plenty of news and plenty of fits. Part of the show included a performance from Jay-Z, Tyler, The Creator, and even Pharrell himself. It was during Jay-Z’s performance that a funny interaction with the crowd happened as he tried to keep the hype up.

Before jumping into a fan favorite track from his Magna Carta Holy Grail album Jay-Z tried to get fans to clap along to the beat, but it didn’t go well. According to XXL, Jay-Z tried to correct the audiences clapping, telling them to stay “on-beat though.” After that didn’t seem to help much he decided just to keep the momentum up in other ways. “Forget the clap,” he said before transitioning into the song. While the video of the interaction is funny, Jay-Z seemed to take it well. The rest of the performances features many of his classic hits and some collaborations with Pharrell as well.

Jay-Z’s Crowd Can’t Clap On Beat

The clapping debacle wasn’t even the only attention-grabbing thing that happened during Jay-Z’s performance. Video emerged after the show of Kim Kardashian dancing to the song “N*ggas In Paris,” which of course features her ex-husband Kanye West as well. Another musical story emerging from the event came from Clipse. The rap duo of Pusha T and No Malice have been pretty quiet since the 2000’s aside from the closing track of Push’s most recent album last year. The duo were present on the Louis Vuitton runaway and even debuted a new song they made together while there.

The show featured a parade of celebrities on top of those already mentioned. Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky and more were all also in attendance. The show celebrated Pharrell’s first collection following his takeover of the position once held by Virgil Abloh before his death. Offset Links Up With Jay-Z And Pharrell At Louis Vuitton Fashion Show

Hip-hop showed out for Pharrell at his first fashion show as Virgil Abloh’s successor at Louis Vuitton. Earlier this year, Louis Vuitton named Skateboard P their new creative director following the death of Abloh. The show’s guests included pop culture’s most famed faces, from Rihanna and A$AP Rocky to Jay-Z and Beyonce, as well as Kim Kardashian and many others. Offset also came out, as expected. The Migos rapper showed out in Louis Vuitton from head-to-toe, with a glass of champagne in one hand and a joint in the other in celebration of Pharrell’s massive debut.

‘Set also linked up with a number of fellow artists at the event. One clip that’s circulating Twitter includes the Atlanta native and Miguel posing for a picture. However, ‘Set also made sure to link up with the star of the show – Pharrell. A video surfaced of the “CODE” MC and the legendary producer, who worked together in the past on hit records like “Stir Fry,” were all smiles as ‘Set praised Pharrell for his latest accomplishments as the creative director of Louis Vuitton.

Another clip that made the rounds sees Offset and Jay-Z connecting briefly, exchanging a firm handshake in a second-long clip. Hov showed out front row for the festivities alongside his wife Beyonce, who is in the midst of her Renaissance World Tour across Europe and will perform in Hamberg, Germany tonight (June 21). Despite alleged tension between Offset and Jay-Z in the past, it’s nice to see them link up with smiles on their face.

Jay-Z also hit the stage on Tuesday night with Pharrell to celebrate the incredible milestone. Hov came through to perform a few collabs with Skateboard P, including “Frontin’.” He also dove into a few other records, such as “N***as In Paris” and “PSA.” Clearly, it was a big night for Pharrell and he certainly pulled out all of the stops to make it happen. Coi Leray Wears Sheer All-Black Outfit With No Bra To Saint Laurent SS24 Runway

Coi Leray has strutted her stuff at Fashion Weeks around the world before, whether as an audience member, performer, or model. Never, though, has she been as bold as she was in Berlin, Germany this week. The Trendsetter artist was one of the special celebrity guests at the Saint Laurent SS24 menswear presentation, along with The Little Mermaid actress Jessica Alexander and Jeoghan from K-pop group Seventeen.

Ahead of the event, Leray shared a nearly naked photo dump to Instagram, letting brand designer Anthony Vaccarello know she had arrived in Europe. In those images, the 26-year-old wore a black thong with white crew socks and heels, shielding her breasts with a Saint Laurent bag while pretending to answer the phone. For the fashion show itself, Coi was technically more covered up. However, the sheer fabric and her decision to skip wearing a bra left her bare breasts on full display under the black lace of her long-sleeve top.

Coi Leray Conquers Germany

As Dazed notes, the fashion show unsurprisingly paid homage to SL’s roots and signature silhouettes. Sheer tops, of course, are something the original designer Yves Saint Laurent was best known for popularizing in his hey-day. He frequently featured the nude female figure on his runways, so seeing Leray and Vaccarello pay tribute to the late creative in such a way isn’t entirely surprising. Of course, the Boston baddie has never shied away from showing off her figure for her own reasons – especially as she continues to promote her sophomore LP, COI, due out later this month on June 23.

Anderson .Paak Shows Love For Snoop Dogg At Chanel Fashion Show

Anderson .Paak shared a clip of himself dancing along to Snoop Dogg’s performance at the Chanel fashion show on May 9. The clip shows .Paak hyping up his fellow rapper as he performed the iconic track “The Next Episode,” originally performed alongside Dr. Dre, Kurupt, and Nate Dogg. The rapper seemed in great spirits as he supported Snoop Dogg, as the two have worked together in the past. The afterparty for the Chanel Cruise Collection fashion show took place at Paramount studios in Los Angeles. Other celebrity appearances included Tracee Ellis Ross, Lil Nas X, Margot Robbie and more.

.Paak has collaborated with Snoop Dogg several times in the past. The West Coast rappers teamed up with Busta Rhymes and DOMi & JD BECK for the track “PiLOT” early this year. Snoop Dogg .Paak and Snoop Dogg have also worked alongside The Last Artful, Dodgr and Dr. Dre.

.Paak worked alongside Cordae in the J. Cole-produced track, “Two Tens,” in January. Cordae shared with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1 how .Paak is “[his] real friend, like [his] brother.” NxWorries, .Paak’s project with producer Knxwledge announced their first performance together in five years, in March. NxWorries will perform at the Prospect Park Bandshell in June. They will be joined by Lalah Hathaway & Bilal, Robert Glasper, and BJ The Chicago Kid. The duo teased more upcoming music after their first release in years last fall, but we have yet to see any new releases.

Snoop Dogg spoke as a panelist earlier this week at the 2023 Milken Institute Global Conference. He joined CEO and Gamma founder, Larry Jackson. He made his thoughts on streaming clear, saying, “[Streaming is] exciting but streaming gotta get their s**t together.” The rapper added that he “[doesn’t]understand how the f**k you get paid off that s**t.” Additionally, he spoke at the conference about his experience speaking with an A.I. model. He said the experience “[blew] his mind,” adding, “I got a motherf***in’ A.I. right now.” Snoop Dogg also recently appeared on the talk show Undisputed. He gifted the hosts, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless, with chains featuring his label’s logo.

Kanye West Holds Auditions For New Yeezy Fashion Show, Seeking Bald Models

Kanye West hit up downtown Los Angeles on Thursday (April 27) to host auditions for models for his upcoming fashion show, Yeezy SZN 10. However, according to a TMZ report, this particular audition had a bit of a theme to it. Moreover, it seems like Ye sought out bald models in particular, and hopeful participants with shaved heads wore all black when they arrived. Furthermore, they lined up as early as 7 a.m., and some waited until 3 p.m. to receive an audience. Presumably, disheveled pictures of the rapper that surfaced on Friday (April 28) was likely taken from these sessions.

The reason for that is because Kanye apparently wore a shirt gifted to him by a disabled person who went to the audition. In more disheveled pictures, the person who presumably gifted him the shirt appears alongside him. Still, all these pieces of information add up to an unclear, albeit inclusive, vision for the next Yeezy show. Given all of the Chicago native’s public controversies and low profile, many wonder how it will even take shape and be disseminated in pop culture.

Kanye West Gearing Up For Yeezy SZN 10

Of course, it’s not like that turbulent path of backlash strayed Kanye West away from the fashion world. In fact, he recently popped out at the Fear Of God runway show along with his new wife Bianca Censori, and even jammed out to his music. It was actually quite an odd clip, capturing Kanye vibing out to his KIDS SEE GHOSTS track “Feel The Love.” That cut features Pusha T and project-length collaborator Kid Cudi, two names that the 45-year-old isn’t on the best terms with at the moment.

Meanwhile, fans can only wonder what kind of event, product, or statement the “Street Lights” artist will bring us next. Considering everything going on around him, going to Yeezy SZN 10 would be an act of morbid curiosity, hope, and partial nervousness. Heron Preston’s NYFW Debut Was A Nod To New York Streetwear

After taking a hiatus from the world of runway shows for three years Heron Preston unveiled his “Anything Goes” Fall/Winter 2023 collection. Set in a Manhattan loft space, the show was an ode to New York, the birthplace of the brand. Several shows in Paris, L.A., as well as digital shows due to the pandemic, have taken place in recent years. However, this was the first time Heron Preston debuted at New York Fashion Week as a solo show.

When asked about the influence of New York on his designs, Preston told Office Magazine, “It’s a big melting pot of so many different cultures, walks of life, languages, and style codes. This is something that this city really gives me that I don’t necessarily get when I go to San Francisco, for example, where I was born and raised. New York has this kind of fresh style, this swagger to it. I hate to use that word but you know what I’m saying? New York has this kind of attitude when it comes to style. . . it’s just so energetic and interesting and it’s never a dull moment.”

Heron Preston’s “Anything Goes” Fall-Winter Showcase

Opening the show was a man wearing an orange safety vest painting the concrete floor with white paint. The collection was heavily dripped in utilitarian and workwear-inspired trousers and shirts. Elsewhere, “security” vests and sportswear-inspired pieces such as ski goggles, motorcycle gloves, racing jackets, and shorts were displayed. The streetwear-core aesthetic that designer Heron Preston is accustomed to was also painted across the entire collection.

The New York community also served as inspiration for the collection with looks that embody the cool-kid aesthetics of the Upper East side. Mismatched and layered clothes in a Y2K way were shown, without the tackiness. Appropriately titled, the Heron Preston Fall/Winter collection offered a little bit of everything sprinkled into the collection. In the most stylish way possible. “Anything Goes” was truly the theme of the collection. Puffer jackets were paired over top of a black silk dress with black furry boots. Skirts were layered overtop pants, and faux fur coats were paired with corset tops, shorts, and construction boots.

Highlights of the collection include footwear such as furry boots, chunky dad sneakers, and neon green sneakers. More footwear included faux fur heels, chunky construction boots, and foam slides. Other accessories from the collection include sporty shield sunglasses, furry bags, and leather gloves. Athleisure-approved balaclavas, chainmail balaclavas, “HPNY” and “S.T.F.U” adorned caps and fringe-detailed bags were also showcased.
