Drake Kisses Nicki Minaj At Her Concert

Fans of Nicki Minaj and Drake were treated to a public demonstration of affection this week when Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour stopped in Drizzy’s hometown of Toronto. Following her initial difficulties attempting to enter Canada last month, Nicki performed Tuesday night in front of a sold-out audience at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. She decided to bring out the city’s most well-known son, Drake, as a surprise guest. They performed “Needle,” off Nicki’s Pink Friday 2 album, which is their most recent joint effort. Before leaving the stage, Drake and Minaj share an intimate moment.

To the pleasure of the audience, Drake gave Nicki an embrace and a big ol’ kiss on the cheek before leaving the stage. As he departed the concert, Nicki Minaj referred to the Toronto artist as “the king of Toronto” and “a legend.” Drizzy is currently in the midst of a vicious rap beef with one Kendrick Lamar. Yesterday, Kendrick released a much-awaited diss track titled “Euphoria” that dissected Drake’s entire career. Drake still found the time for his old label mate Nicki Minaj, even when partaking in a rap feud.

Drake Gives Nicki Minaj A Big Kiss And Loving Embrace

As he said goodbye to the home audience, Drake also seemed to allude to his current battle with Kendrick Lamar. The Toronto MC told Nicki and the crowd, “I love you so much. You know what time it is, you know what I gotta do.” Drizzy seemingly suggests that he is about to put all his attention into crafting a response to Kendrick. He responded to the diss on Instagram by posting a clip from the movie 10 Things I Hate About You.

Drake and Minaj are now involved in rap conflicts. While Minaj has been trading barbs with Megan Thee Stallion, Drizzy is facing off against Kendrick Lamar. Minaj dropped a track dissing the Houston star, and Megan responded with “Hiss.” “Hiss” and “Like That,” Kendrick’s diss on Future’s album, both became mega hits. The question remains if Drake has what it takes to really come out on top of his beef with Kendrick Lamar. Overall, rap beef is good for business. Nicki Minaj and Drake aren’t shying away from beef.

Jay Electronica Posts Drake Song Following Kendrick Lamar’s New Diss Track

Earlier this week, Kendrick Lamar shocked the rap world with the release of “euphoria.” The song took aim at Drake, who had dropped a pair of songs taking shots at Kendrick called “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle” last month. The beef goes all the way back to Kendrick’s guest verse on the Future & Metro Boomin song “Like That” earlier this year. The newest developments have rap fans and even plenty of rap artists themselves reacting. The most recent was Jay Electronica, who didn’t actually say anything. But he made a post that seems to make it obvious which side he’s on.

He took to Twitter overnight to share a link to Drake’s song “Champagne Poetry.” It’s the opening track to Drake’s 2021 album Certified Lover Boy. The song currently sits with over 300 million streams on Spotify, 6th most of any song on Certified Lover Boy. While the album itself was met with some harsh criticism upon release, many fans cited “Champagne Poetry” as a standout moment. Jay Elec seems to agree as it’s the song he chose to post to seemingly endorse Drake in the beef without actually saying it out loud. His tweet has generated less than 2k likes at the time of publishing. Check out his post allegedly taking sides in the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef below.

Some of the people fans were most interested in reacting to Kendrick’s new song “euphoria” are those mentioned by name. Gunna already shared his reaction to the song but others who are name-dropped in the track like Sexyy Red haven’t been clear on how they feel about it.

What do you think of Jay Electronica tweeting out a Drake song just a day after Kendrick Lamar dropped his new diss track? Do you think he’s attempting to subtly imply that he’s siding with Drake in the beef? Let us know in the comment section below.

Cam’rom and Mase have Drake Still Winning Over Kendrick

Drake finally received a response from Kendrick Lamar. The song “Euphoria” has been released online, and fans are ecstatic that it is finally available. All in all, the song is quite critical, suggesting that Drake might have made a mistake in joining the conflict. Lamar delivered a song that was six minutes long with a ton of bars that picked apart Drake’s entire career. Drake is criticized in the song for being a “scam artist.” It even addressed Drizzy’s decision to avoid the spotlight with Pusha T. Overall, it’s a scathing track, and now many are saying Kendrick is winning the feud. Cam’ron and Mase apparently think differently.

Cam’ron and Mase discussed the new diss track from Kendrick on their podcast, It Is What It Is. The two rappers turned podcasters and still think Drake is winning the beef, with Mase declaring that Kendrick took too long to respond. Drake put out two diss tracks in the past two and a half weeks. He was in hot water with Tupac Shakur’s estate over using AI to replicate the late rapper’s voice. Drake has been playing the internet game and posting shots on the gram. All the while, fans have been waiting for a response from Kendrick.  Mase thinks the track was good but should have dropped sooner.

Cam’Ron And Mase Discuss Kendrick Lamar’s  “Euphoria”

Cam’ron asks Mase his general thoughts on the record, to which Mase says he thought it was “alright.” Moreover, Mase thought the record should have come out sooner and would have hit harder if it did. Cam’ron jokingly asked why Kendrick had to respond immediately when Mase waited so long to release his Cam’rin diss “Oracle” Back in the day. The two rappers got a good laugh in, and Mase had to collect himself. Ultimately, Mase says the diss didn’t say anything new about Drake, indicating that much of what we heard on the track had been previously discussed.

The Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef seems to only be getting started. Fans are dissecting Kendrick’s diss as they await a response from Drake. Overall, this rap beef seems like it’s great for Hip-Hop. Everyone has an opinion on the feud. The big question is now, where do both MCs go from here?

The saga continues: Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been embroiled in a feud for a couple weeks now, and after a bit of a wait, Lamar finally clapped back at Drake yesterday (April 30) with “Euphoria.” The world apparently won’t have to wait as long for Drake’s response.

One his Drake’s immediate reactions was to throw a perfectly fitting 10 Things I Hate About You clip up on his Instagram Story. It seems he won’t stop there, though, as he indicated during a surprise appearance at a Nicki Minaj concert last night.

Minaj played Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena yesterday and brought Drake out for “Needle.” At the end of the song, right before he departed the stage, Drake thanked the crowd and seemingly indicated that he was going to get back in the studio to fire back at Lamar: He said, “You know what time it is, you know what I gotta do.”

Minaj, by the way, is involved in some beef of her own right now, with Megan Thee Stallion. The two swapped diss tracks, but things eventually got out of hand when some fans were a little too into it, to the point where the cemetery where Meg’s mother is interred got involved.

Gunna Delivers New Single "Bread & Butter," Appears to Address Lil Baby & More

Did Drake snitch on somebody? Kendrick is alluding that he has or maybe something even worse. In the middle of his ‘euphoria’ diss track, K Dot dropped off:

“We ain’t gotta get personal, this a friendly fade, you should keep it that way
I know some shit about niggas that make Gunna Wunna look like a saint.”

With much of Hip-Hop believing that Gunna had some level of snitching on Young Thug in the YSL Rico case, fans are eager to know what Kendrick Lamar is hinting toward.

With his name mentioned, Gunna hit X to give an instant reaction. You can see that and hear the song below.
