Donald Trump Pleads Not Guilty After Being Arrested For Mishandling Classified Documents

Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty at a federal courthouse in Miami after being arrested and booked on charges relating to mishandling of classified documents. Similar to his indictment in New York, earlier this year, he did not have to take a mug shot, given the surplus of public photographs that could be used to identify him. During his court appearance, Trump formally entered a plea of “not guilty.”

Alina Habba, one of Trump’s attorneys, explained why he didn’t need a mug shot outside of the courtroom. “President Trump is in a very unique position where he does not need to be given a mugshot, obviously,” she said, as noted by Variety. “He’s not a flight risk. He is the leading candidate of the GOP at the moment. He is going through a process that has been coordinated with the Secret Service and it will all be handled seamlessly.”

On the way to the courthouse, Trump posted on his social media site, Truth Social. “ONE OF THE SADDEST DAYS IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY. WE ARE A NATION IN DECLINE!!!” Trump wrote, before adding in a separate post, “ON MY WAY TO COURTHOUSE. WITCH HUNT!!! MAGA.”

In response to Trump’s arrest, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer remarked: “No one’s above the law, including Donald Trump, and ought to be no political or ideological interference as the case moves forward. We don’t need political interference. We need strong law enforcement and Donald Trump is not above the law, plain and simple.”

All-in-all, Trump faces 37 criminal charges. Among them are counts of retaining classified information, obstructing justice, and making false statements, among others. The worst of the offenses carry prison sentences of up to 20 years.

On Friday, former president Donald Trump was indicted on charges of conspiracy and violating the espionage act. Trump is being accused of stealing hundreds of boxes of classified documents from the White House after losing the 2020 presidential election. Legendary producer Teddy Riley shows his support for the president in his comments and reveals why he stands by his former president.

The ‘Guy’ singer/producer says that he stands with Trump because he released his older brother Lou Hobbs, who was serving double life in prison. Teddy goes on to say that Trump taught him “how to be a free man of this country.”

Teddy believes that Trump “can do something amazing for us, because he did it for Africa while he was in office.” He explains that everyone has their own beliefs, and this is solely what he believes.

Barbra Streisand Quotes Memphis Bleek While Condemning Donald Trump

Barbra Streisand called out Donald Trump on Twitter, earlier this week, amid his indictment for mishandling classified documents. In doing so, Streisand quoted lyrics from former Roc-A-Fella rapper Memphis Bleek. The lyrics come from his verse on Jay-Z’s The Dynasty: Roc La Familia track, “1-900-Hustler.” The song also features Beanie Sigel and Freeway.

“Trump is going to be indicted for stealing classified documents,” Streisand wrote. “He is going crazy with his tweets urging his cult to ‘FIGHT.’ We remember what happened on January 6th. ‘The strong are quiet, the weak start riots.’ – Rapper Memphis Bleek[.]”

As for Trump’s latest indictment, he faces 37 counts related to the mishandling of classified documents. Among the charges are counts of retaining classified information, obstructing justice, and making false statements, among others. The worst of the offenses carry prison sentences of up to 20 years. Trump responded to the indictment on Truth Social.

“We are watching our Republic DIE before our very eyes,” he said in a statement posted on the site requesting campaign contributions. “The Biden-appointed Special Counsel has INDICTED me in yet another witch hunt regarding documents that I had the RIGHT to declassify as President of the United States. This witch hunt began when the FBI RAIDED my home and then staged it to look like a made-for-TV crime scene with police sirens and flashing red and blue lights. This is nothing but a disgusting act of Election Interference by the ruling party to ELIMINATE its opposition and amass total control over our country.”

Barba Streisand Disses Donald Trump

Bleek reposted Streisand’s tweet on Instagram and added in the caption, “They quoting the kid out here.” He tagged the singer and actress in the post as well while adding several emojis.

Donald Trump Indictment Hints At Truth Behind Wild Kid Rock Story

Former President Donald Trump was indicted on June 9 after a wealth of classified documents were discovered in a bathroom of his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The indictment, Trump’s second of the year, covers 37 charges against the former President. The charges include 31 counts of willful retention of classified documents, one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice, one count of withholding a document or record, one count of corruptly concealing a document or record, one count of concealing a document in a federal investigation, one count of scheme to conceal and one count of making false statements and representations. Trump will be arranged on June 13.

However, one section of the indictment in particular has raised a number of eyebrows. The section in question reads, “In August or September 2021, at The Bedminster Club, Trump showed a representative of his political action committee who did not possess a security clearance a classified map related to a military operation.” Buckle in, because the potential link here is wild.

Donald Trump May Have Shown Kid Rock Classified Documents

Last year, Kid Rock went on Fox News to be interviewed by Tucker Carlson. Kid Rock is a die-hard Trump supporter. Furthermore, that has been the case since essentially the beginning of Trump’s upwards fail into the White House. Speaking with Carlson, Rock told a very funny story about how Trump solicited his advice on North Korea. “We’re looking at maps and shit, and I’m like, ‘Am I supposed to be in on this shit?’ Kid Rock said. “I make dirty records sometimes. ‘What do you think we should do about North Korea?’ I’m like, ‘What? I don’t think I’m qualified to answer this”.” Rock also noted that Trump had sought his advice about ISIS during the same dinner.

Now Trump had a habit of contacting the most random people to advise on his Presidential decision-making. He reportedly asked former Yankee Alex Rodriguez about how he should handle COVID-19. Furthermore, he reportedly ranted at golfer Jon Daly about how Putin wouldn’t have invaded Ukraine if Trump was still President. But the Kid Rock story was a different beast altogether. Furthermore, if the indictment is about Kid Rock, that’s kind of a slam dunk on that charge. This is a developing story and we’ll have any updates here at HotNewHipHop.

Barbra Streisand Quoted Memphis Bleek And Rap Fans Are Impressed (And Confused) By Her Hip-Hop Knowledge

Rap fans were impressed — and confused — when by Barbra Streisand‘s hip-hop knowledge when the 81-year-old quoted New York rapper Memphis Bleek on Twitter.

Streisand, who has long had a reputation for political activism, tweeted a dire warning about a future Donald Trump presidential candidacy. “Trump is going to be indicted for stealing classified documents,” she wrote. “He is going crazy with his tweets urging his cult to ‘FIGHT.’ We remember what happened on January 6th. ‘The strong are quiet, the weak start riots.’ – Rapper Memphis Bleek.” (The lyrics in question are from a song on the Jay-Z-led compilation album The Dynasty, “1-900-HUSTLER,” which features Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek, and Freeway.)

Although largely recognized within the culture as being Jay-Z’s protege throughout the late ’90s and early 2000s, Bleek did have an expansive solo career that saw him release minor hits like “Is That Yo Chick” and “Like That.” However, he was never much of a fixture on mainstream charts, leaving fans nonplussed that Streisand would quote him, of all people.

The idea that Streisand would be a huge Memphis Bleek fan turned out to be a source of amusement, though — much like a similar incident with actress Sharon Stone donning a movie prop that got her tagged a fan of underground rapper MF DOOM.

Check out some of the more amused reactions below.

Mike Pence Set to Formally Launch 2024 Presidential Campaign

j

Former Vice President Mike Pence has announced entering the 2024 Presidential Race. In declaring his candidacy, Pence will challenge his former running mate, President Donald Trump.

According to The New York Times, Pence filed the paperwork for the presidency on Monday, sparking an underdog run at the Republican nomination for the White House. Pence previously served under Donald Trump and, in the post-presidency years, has become the target of Trump at the center of falsely rigged election claims.

Pence is expected to formally announce his campaign on Wednesday in Des Moines, Iowa, joining an ever-growing field featuring former Gov. Chris Christie and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum.

In March, a federal judge ordered Pence to appear in front of a grand jury that is investigating former president Donald J. Trump.

The request for Pence comes in an investigation of Trump’s efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election. According to the New York Times, Judge James E. Boasberg’s rulings impact Trump’s attempt to limit the type of questions that can be positioned against him in court.

Pence is being requested after Trump asked for him to delay or block the Electoral College vote count, cementing Trump’s loss. Before the court order, Trump’s lawyer asked for the court’s chief judge, Beryl A. Howell, to limit what Pence could deliver in testimony.

On the other hand, Pence’s lawyers also asked for limited testimony due to his role as president of the Senate, which would exclude him from any legal issues.

You can learn more about Pence’s order here.

Donald Trump Congratulates Kim Jong Un, Faces Backlash From Republicans

Donald Trump shared his congratulations for Kim Jong Un on his social media platform, Truth Social, earlier this week, sparking bipartisan backlash. In doing so, Trump shared a link to the news that the World Health Organization has admitted North Korea to its executive board.

“Congratulations to Kim Jung Un!” Trump wrote. The post was quickly met with backlash from several other voices in the Republican party. Georgia governor Brian Kemp later tweeted: “Taking our country back from Joe Biden does not start with congratulating North Korea’s murderous dictator.”

U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un briefly met at the Korean demilitarized zone (DMZ) on Sunday, with an intention to revitalize stalled nuclear talks and demonstrate the friendship between both countries. The encounter was the third time Trump and Kim have gotten together in person as both leaders have said they are committed to the “complete denuclearization” of the Korean peninsula. (Handout photo by Dong-A Ilbo/Getty Images)

Trump’s former lawyer Jenna Ellis also responded to the post: “Donald Trump is running to the left of Ron DeSantis, RFK, and now Joe Biden? We don’t have a pro-Kim Jung Un lane in the GOP. What has happened to Trump?” Nikki Haley, who previously served as Trump’s former UN ambassador and is currently running against him in 2024, wrote: “Kim Jong Un starves his own people. It’s a total farce that North Korea has a leading role at the World Health Organization.”

Donald Trump famously became the first sitting US President to meet with a dictator of North Korea back in 2019. He reflected on his relationship with Kim Jong Un during an interview in April. “It started off rough, remember that? I was saying ‘little rocket man’ and he was saying ‘I’ve got a red button on my desk, and I’m willing to use it,’” Trump recalled. “And then all of a sudden we get a call — they want to meet. We would have had that whole situation straightened out shortly after the beginning of my second term.”

MAGA Faithful Fall For Currency Scam

An investigation by NBC News has revealed a multi-faceted scam directed at diehard supporters of former President Donald Trump. According to their investigation, three companies based in Colorado have been scamming the reddest of the MAGA loyal by getting them to buy into a fake currency. There is no evidence that these companies are linked to Trump or his re-election.

Pro-Trump novelty items have been common since his election defeat in 2020. However, these items are more often than not clearly labeled as decorative or novelty items. Not Trump Bucks though. Pushed by three Colorado-based companies, Patriots Dynasty, Patriots Future, and USA Patriots, Trump Bucks were presented a something of a preparation for the future. Buying Trump Bucks allowed the purchaser to gain a standing in the “Trump Rebate Banking System” (TBR). This system, which Trump would purportedly announce upon retaking the White House in 2024, would turn the Trump Bucks into legal tender.

Trump Bucks Explained

The pitch was simple – buy Trump Bucks from one of the three companies and cash it in later. For example, $99.99 got you 10,000 Diamond Trump Bucks. Once the TBR was live, that card could be exchanged at any major bank or retailer for $10,000. The advertisements that the companies used in the scam claim that the Trump Bucks Membership Card can be used as legal tender in the United States.

The scam was spread using advertising that appear to show Trump and other figures such as Elon Musk promoting the product. These fraudulent endorsements were achieved through the use of vocal AI. “That Trump certificate is not a joke, it’s real. Everyone needs to get as many as they can. I spend one million dollars on Trump certificates and this week I’m going to cash out my Trump items. Soon I will be the richest person on the planet again,” an AI version of Musk says in one advertisement. Furthermore, people are legitimately falling for this. While total numbers are unclear, NBC spoke to one Houston man who had spent over $2000 on Trump Bucks, only to find that they were not in fact legal tender.

Trump’s Alleged Mistress Spills Details On Affair

Karen McDougal was just a pre-K teacher who entered a swimsuit contest. That was the first domino in a chain that lead all the way to the 2016 Presidential Election. That swimsuit contest led to a Playboy test shoot with veteran photographer David Mecey. Eventually, McDougal would end up as both Miss December 1997 and 1998’s Playmate of the Year.

According to McDougal, she first met Donald Trump at the Playboy Mansion in 2006. That would lead to a ten-month affair that ended in 2007. For context, Trump married his third wife Melania in 2005. McDougal initially told friends about the affair but the story largely stayed out of the mainstream news. That was until Donald Trump announced he was running for President. This led AMI, the parent company of right-wing media outlet National Enquirer, to conduct an hours-long interview with McDougal. Furthermore, McDougal was paid $150,000 for her story but National Enquirer never published the story. Now McDougal has given an exclusive interview to The Daily Mail.

McDougal Paints New Picture Of Trump

McDougal’s first comments to the Mail were a reassertion that the affair did indeed happen. “His people have denied it, but he’s never denied it,” she said. “A reporter asked him: ‘Did you have an affair with Karen McDougal?’ and all he said was: ‘I’ve done nothing wrong.’ He knows I’m telling the truth.” Furthermore, as she has claimed in the past, their fling was more than casual. “I was in love with him. He was in love with me. I know that because he told me all the time. He’d say ‘You’re my baby and I love you’. He showed me off to his friends. I’m portrayed as the disgruntled woman, but I am not that woman. I ended it,” she says.

However, the most notable of McDougal’s comments were ones that painted Trump in a brand-new light. Trump has always been dismissive of the women he engaged in extramarital dealings with. He called porn star Stormy Daniels “horse face” while calling journalist E Carroll Jean, who has accused Trump of rape, a “wack job”. “He followed me around like a puppy dog, trying to get my attention,’ she says. ‘He took to me so much that the Bunny Mother said: ‘Wow, he really has a thing for you’. I was saying goodbye and he was standing next to his bodyguard Keith Schiller and he said, ‘Keith, get her number.’.” The former president is yet to respond to the new interview.

Ice Cube Drags A Troll That Called Him Out For Republican Ties

Ice Cube engaged in a fiery exchange with an internet troll who accused the rapper of promoting Republican voting. On Monday, an individual, evidently not a fan of the West Coast icon, took to Twitter to criticize Cube. They claimed that he only appeared “every four years” to encourage black people to vote for Republicans who “openly suppress the black vote.” Spotting the tweet, Cube swiftly fired back at the criticism. “I never told yo’ Black ass who to vote for,” the rapper said. “So stop lying and get that ‘click bait’ out’cha mouth.”

Over the years, the former N.W.A. rapper has been actively involved in political matters. In 2020, Ice Cube faced intense scrutiny when Katrina Pierson, an advisor to Donald Trump’s campaign, publicly acknowledged his assistance. Apparently, he took part in the former president’s Platinum Plan. Subsequently, Cube had to do damage control by confirming his collaboration with Trump. However, he was aiming to advance his Contract With Black America (CWBA) initiative.

Ice Cube Will Work With Whoever He Needs To In Order To Help The Black Community

At that time, Cube tweeted, “Let me get this straight, I get the president of the United States to agree to put over half a trillion dollars of capital in the Black Community (without an endorsement) and n***as are mad at me? Have a nice life.” Despite the backlash, Cube later revealed that he was approached by Joe Biden’s camp after Biden’s victory in the 2020 election. The new president was seeking his support in implementing the CWBA initiative. Cube emphasized that the ultimate goal was to pressure candidates to incorporate elements of his plan, which received widespread agreement, into their agendas.

In addition to his ties with Republicans, Ice Cube has faced longstanding accusations of antisemitism. He has been an outspoken supporter of Louis Farrakhan, a prominent religious leader known for his antisemitic views. In 2015, Cube was accused of allegedly instructing his entourage to assault a rabbi. Moreover, during the peak of the pandemic in 2020, Cube drew criticism for sharing memes that implied Jewish people were responsible for causing disruptions in the country. Cube defended these memes, referring to them as “pro-Black.” What do you think of Ice Cube’s response to the troll? Let us know in the comments!
