John Legend Goes After Donald Trump In Scathing Interview: “He’s A Racist”

John Legend slammed Donald Trump during an interview with former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on MSNBC, on Sunday. In doing so, he labeled the former President of the United States a “racist” and asked what he’s actually “done for Black people?”

“He’s made it clear throughout his life that he believes Black people are inferior,” Legend said. “He believes that to his core, in his bones, he wouldn’t let us live in his buildings back in the day. But also, when you hear some of the stray comments he makes, he clearly believes in a genetic hierarchy of humanity, and it’s racially determined. So, he is a tried and true, dyed-in-the-wool racist. In the core of his being, he’s a racist. So, I don’t want to hear what he has to say about what he’s done for Black people. He’s done very little for us and he is at his core, truly, truly a racist.”

Elsewhere during the interview, Legend discussed the criminal justice system in the U.S. “There is a two-tiered justice system, but not in the way that he thinks. He’s the beneficiary, absolutely. The fact that he’s out in the world, that’s not normal for a lot of people,” Legend argued. “He’s gotten away with a lot for a long time, he’s been a fraudster for a long time, he’s been cheating people for a long time, he’s been lying for a long time and he’s actually been litigating for a long time.” Check out his full comments below.

Donald Trump Labels Himself “The King” In Latest Rant

Donald Trump described himself as “the king” during his latest rant on his Truth Social platform. The former president had been discussing the news that MSNBC beat out Fox News in both total viewers and in the key 25-54 age demographic for the prior week on prime time. The feat snapped a 120-week winning streak for the conservative outlet.

“Well, it’s happened, just as I predicted,” Trump began, before adding, “The Golden Goose that was so beautiful is being slaughtered by Fools. MAGA has left Fox for more promising ‘prairies.’ Long live the King. The only solution for Fox News is to bring back Trump Allies and MAGA—Backing No Personality Ron DeSanctimonious has been a disaster….”

He continued: “….Also—Do not broadcast negative ads against Republican and Conservative Candidates by Perverts and Misfits like the Failing Lincoln Project, and others. Roger Ailes never allowed that—And neither should a new and less successful Fox. Big turnoff! MSDNC and Fake News CNN will never allow positive Republican ads or hit pieces on Crooked Joe Biden. Fox must get smart fast before it’s too late. Only ‘TRUMP’ can save Fox News. It is in freefall!”

Trump’s Truth Social rant comes days after he pleaded not guilty to charges relating to the mishandling of classified documents. In total, Trump faces 37 criminal charges including counts of retaining classified information, obstructing justice, and making false statements, among others. The worst of the offenses carry prison sentences of up to 20 years.

Future Speaks On LeBron James Being A Huge Fan Of Him

As one of the most influential and beloved artists in the hip-hop world, Future’s received no shortage of praise. However, one of his most die-hard celebrity fans is none other than basketball superstar (and arguable GOAT) LeBron James. Moreover, the Los Angeles Laker often spoke of or displayed his love for Hendrix over the years. For example, he practically only played his track “March Madness” during the summer of 2015, telling a fan at that time that it was his favorite song. While on The Beat with Ari Melber on MSNBC, Melber asked him specifically about that relationship and on “being the soundtrack to so many people’s lives, including LeBron’s big moments.”

“It feel great,” Future remarked about LeBron James and his continued support of his music. “It just make keep me going, give me inspiration and motivation to just stay in the studio and keep coming up with different tunes, you know. Making that music. I love when people say certain things about it, and it just inspire me, when they say things about me say things about my career. It definitely inspire me.”

Future Appreciates LeBron James For His Support

Another prominent example of Bron’s love for Pluto is his answer to a question posed by RapCaviar back in 2021. Furthermore, the post posited J. Cole, Drake, and of course Kendrick Lamar as the “three kings” of the 2010s decade, placing them on a Mount Rushmore. Still, that comparison left one spot remaining, and fans debated over who else was the most dominant artist of that decade for a variety of reasons. Unsurprisingly, LeBron didn’t flinch with his answer. “Future Hendrix,” he replied to the Twitter account. Maybe he already answered this question before, but it would be crazy to hear what the 38-year-old’s favorite track from the “HOLY GHOST” MC is.

Much like Future’s dominance of the 2010s, LeBron James has become one of the greatest players in NBA history. A lot of that work came in the same decade, and his revered place even in hip-hop culture is unsurprising. After 20 years in the league, he crafted one of the most significant legacies in sports in recent memory. There might be some who scoff at the comparison, but Hendrix proved many times in that decade- and this decade, for that matter- that you can’t tell the story of modern hip-hop without him. Regardless of your take, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Future and LeBron James.

MSNBC Host Ari Melber Quotes Biggie To Encourage People To Get Vaccinated

If there’s one thing MSNBC host Ari Melber is going to do, it’s force an awkward hip-hop quote in reference to complicated current events and political issues. Whether that’s a good thing or not is up to the viewer, but at least he’s trying to keep things relevant. His latest attempt came this afternoon during a segment on COVID-19 vaccine reluctance, into which Melber injected a quote taken from The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1997 Life After Death track “What’s Beef?”:

Beef is when your moms ain’t safe up in the streets
Beef is when I see you
Guaranteed to be in ICU

Melber clarifies that while COVID-19 isn’t exactly the same as having a street feud with the 6’2″, 395-pound, Brooklyn-bred rapper, it could conceivably go about as sideways. His point, of course, is that emergency rooms and intensive care units across the country are being overwhelmed with new cases of the vaccine — and that 99% of those cases are people who have not been vaccinated.

https://twitter.com/TheBeatWithAri/status/14284351382207897640

Melber’s quotes have been wide-ranging and deep; in recent months, he’s mined material from the likes of 21 Savage and Nicki Minaj, and while there are definitely plenty of rap fans who could seemingly do without his quotes, the fact that they nearly always go viral ensures that the important information and context he provides receive much-needed exposure.

Check out some of those responses below.
