Plies Wants Fans To Stop “Wasting Time” Complaining About The Election

Plies is not someone typically associated with politics. At least, when it comes to his music. The rapper spent most of his career making love songs, party songs, or some myriad of both. He decided to break from his musical persona on November 11, however. The rapper, who was a vocal supporter of Kamala Harris, broke his silence on the outcome of the recent U.S. presidential election. He was not happy with the results, but he had a constructive message for fans.

Plies hopped on Twitter to offer some advice. The rapper believed that anybody who was complaining about the U.S. election results was simply wasting their time. “Stop wasting your time telling people what they’re about to get the next four years,” he asserted. “If you haven’t learned anything else, u should’ve learned people will make themselves believe anything they want.” Plies didn’t limit his advice to calling out his fans, however. He claimed that a better way to spend the upcoming presidential term is to just focus on the things one can control in their own lives.

Plies Suggested That Fans Focus On Themselves

“Let people live their life good or bad,” Plies posited. “Focus your energy on u & yours.” This passionate statement was actually the culmination of a Twitter rant that the rapper embarked on this Veteran’s Day. He previously blamed the end of “normality” on social media. He also lamented the belief that extremism has become the go-to stance on practically every talking point in today’s world. “The more extreme u are the better,” he angrily tweeted. “These are the times we’re living in if u not extreme u not popular.” This is not the first time the rapper has vented his frustrations via social media.

Plies was fuming right after Kamala Harris lost the election to Donald Trump. He posted a video on Instagram in which he claimed that “character” is no longer an important factor in electing leaders. “One thing this election did teach me, something that [Trump] knew… character no longer matters,” he noted. “All the dark- and the things he’s said, he knew people wanted that. This whole notion of ‘America, this is not who we are,’ no, this is exactly who we are.” We’re sure that Plies will have more to say in the months to follow.

Kamala Harris’ Campaign Blew Over $1 Billion In Massive Loss To Donald Trump

Kamala Harris’ campaign reportedly spent over $1 billion financing her massive loss to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. Two sources for Politico’s California bureau chief Christopher Cadelago say the campaign is at least $20 million in debt after the unsuccessful spending cycle. Despite the huge amounts of money, she still ended up losing every swing state to Trump, who will now retake the presidency in January.

“We spent money in stupid ways because we had a really bad strategy,” a former consultant to the DNC told Puck’s Tara Palmeri, as caught by The New Republic. “Instead of owning any mistakes, or being transparent about the voter data and strategies that were so obviously wrong, they shut off their Twitter account and are patting each other on the back. We dug out of a deep hole but not enough.” Harris hosted major rallies across the country featuring numerous celebrities in the months leading up to the election. She also paid for several media advertisements.

When The Neighborhood Talk shared the report on Instagram on Monday, supporters of the Vice President came to her defense. “SHE ALSO HAD 107 DAYS, she had to do more. She was never playing on an equal playing field from the jump. She didn’t have an entire year in the primaries to campaign for POTUS. She had the tail end of the presidential campaign. And still got over 71 million votes, to his 74 million votes. Her campaign was a lot more stressed. In the short amount of time she had I think she did amazing,” one user wrote. Another added: “She knew she had to work harder/spend more as a female minority candidate … that’s it. that’s all.”

Harris ended up conceding the election to Trump on November 6th. Looking ahead to 2028, she’ll likely have to compete with Pete Buttigieg, Gavin Newsom, Josh Shapiro, JB Pritzker, and other popular politicians on the left for the Democratic primary. Be on the lookout for further updates on Kamala Harris on HotNewHipHop.

Because I got one more f*cking cigarette in me before I start lighting your asses up.”

Donald Trump Vows To Terminate Gender-Affirming Care When He Takes Office

Following a victorious campaign for a second term, convicted United States president-elect Donald Trump is starting to outline his plans for his first few days in office next January. One of his main missions is to terminate gender-affirming healthcare for transgender youth and the U.S. citizenry at large, which he explained via a new video. The 47th president of the nation promised to end all federal programs promoting concepts of sex and gender transition at any age, and also brought up his planned outlawing of surgeries, puberty blockers, and more procedures when it comes to underage individuals.

“Here’s my plan to stop the chemical, physical, and emotional mutilation of our youth,” Donald Trump recently expressed. “On day one, I will revoke Joe Biden’s cruel policies on so-called gender-affirming care. Ridiculous. A process that involves giving kids puberty blockers, mutating their physical appearance, and ultimately performing surgery on minor children. Can you believe this? I will sign a new executive order instructing every federal agency to cease all programs that promote the concept of sex and gender transition at any age.”

Donald Trump’s War Against Gender-Affirming Care

In addition, Donald Trump also plans to request that Congress block taxpayer dollars from being used to further these procedures, along with a law prohibiting the “sexual mutilation” of a child in all 50 states. Also, he announced his desire to terminate hospitals or healthcare providers from Medicaid and Medicare if they participate in gender-affirming care. The near-assassinated public official (which fortunately did not happen) added a plan to create a private right of action through which individuals can sue doctors who provided gender-affirming care to minors. He claimed the Department of Justice will investigate big pharma and hospital networks to determine if they covered up side effects of transition processes for profit.

Other elements of Donald Trump’s plans concerning gender-affirming care include investigations into alleged and potential hormone and puberty blocker trafficking, policing affirmations of transgender identity in state and school districts, the promotion of positive nuclear families and strictly unique gender roles, passing a bill in Congress declaring the only recognized genders by the United States government to be male and female (assigned at birth), and the notion that a child cannot assume a new gender or identity without their parents’ consent. Sadly, this plan falls into the exact misconceptions, polarizations, bigotries, generalizations, misunderstandings, and over-reaching violations of personal rights and freedoms that led this administration and ideology into a second term.

Waka Flocka Flame Reacts To Canceled Meet & Greet Event Due To Donald Trump Support

Waka Flocka is a proud supporter of Donald Trump, who recently won the United States presidential election against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. However, he feels like his support of the convicted president-elect resulted in some groups and organizations trampling over his freedom of speech. The reason why is because the organizers for a meet and greet with the rapper this week canceled the event due to his political views. In response, he issued a lengthy message on Twitter that criticized how he feels like the foundations of freedom of speech that built the U.S. are only applicable to the “system.” It’s not that simple, but we’ll let the comments section of the Instagram post down below illuminate that for you.

“Imagine living in a country… built on free speech. To ultimately find out free speech is only given to those who don’t go against the system…” Waka Flocka Flame spoke of how his meet and greet was no more due to his Donald Trump support. “A lot of ppl need to wake up. Y’all being used for a bigger agenda. Free speech is free speech. My decision for who I vote for is my decision. Y’all talking about freedoms? [They canceled] one of my meet and greet events in DC… today because of some people’s opinion. Because they harassed a liquor store until they canceled the s**t. Then they spin it like I did something wrong for having an opinion… that’s freedom?”

However, Waka Flocka Flame certainly applied a similar mentality to some of his own events. For example, he told Joe Biden supporters to leave his concert back in July of this year, and this shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the dynamics behind private bookings and partnerships.

Meanwhile, outside of the political realm, Waka Flocka Flame still had a pretty good time in 2024 thanks to some other developments. He joined Nicki Minaj as a special guest alongside 2 Chainz for her Atlanta tour stop of her Pink Friday 2 trek. The ATL native enjoyed his freedoms of speech this year to great extent, but others’ freedoms of speech also come into play.

FBI Thwarts Another Alleged Assassination Attempt On Donald Trump’s Life

Donald Trump has now faced various attempts on his life, and that’s not counting the ones that remained plans instead of full-on attempts. For example, according to The Washington Post, law enforcement charged three men in connection to an alleged plot to assassinate the convicted United States president-elect during his successful campaign for a second term in office. An FBI agent’s sworn testimony detailed phone conversations with Farhad Shakeri, a correspondent for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who is one of the three men federal authorities accused of this plot. Shakeri alleged that he and the codefendants planned to assassinate the Republican politician in mid-September.

Allegedly, they received a deadline of October 7 to come up with a plot, but plans did not find an opportunity to manifest due to Farhad Shakeri’s contact in the Guard Corps’ disapproval. According to Shakeri, his contact found their plan to lack in strategic value, and suggested that they attempt to resume the plot after the election. They mistakenly thought Donald Trump would lose, according to Shakeri’s alleged testimony. “[Shakeri] was tasked by the regime to direct a network of criminal associates to further Iran’s assassination plots against its targets, including president-elect Donald J. Trump,” Attorney General Merrick Garland stated.

Alleged Donald Trump Assassination Attempt Thwarted

Furthermore, law enforcement arrested Fahrad Shakeri’s alleged associates, Carlisle Rivera and Jonathan Loadholt, without bond. Reportedly, they are New York City residents. As for Shakeri, federal authorities believe he is on the run in Iran. Fortunately, it seems like this alleged plot never came to fruition and did not result in any loss of life or damage. Meanwhile, the world continues to react to Donald Trump’s win over Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

“It goes like this… America is a liar, yeah, yeah, yeah,” Tamar Braxton shared on social media. “Y’all lied… Lied, lied, lied, lied. Oh my god, I cried myself to sleep last night… I don’t trust them. I don’t trust none of y’all. Oh my God, y’all sat up here and said ‘Kamala,’ ‘Kamala,’ ‘Kamala,’ I feel so unaccomplished as a Black woman. So unappreciated. Like y’all would rather have someone who blatantly says, ‘Grab them by the p***y’ and give them a microphone like they giving a blow job…”

Plies Blasts America For Donald Trump Election

Upon Donald Trump‘s return to the White House, Plies expressed disappointment to his fans, reflecting on what he sees as a shift in American values. Known for his surprisingly outspoken support for Kamala Harris, the “Buss It Baby Pt. 2” hitmaker wasn’t afraid to critique the election results. Trump’s victory, the “Real Goon” says, reveals an unsettling embrace of deceit and darkness that characterized Trump’s campaign and popularity.

The Florida rap star, who has long rallied his fanbase to stand firm in their beliefs and vote with conviction, admitted that Trump’s decisive win in his home state was frustrating. He voiced his empathy for his supporters, wishing he could shield them from the outcome, though he notably refrained from extending any goodwill to Trump’s base. Vice President Kamala Harris congratulated Trump on his election via phone call on Wednesday morning (Nov. 6).

Plies Is Disappointed In The Nation After Election

Plies’ disappointment runs deeper than political allegiance; he sees it as a broader reflection of lost integrity in the country. For him, this election has cast a harsh light on what he perceives as a public endorsement of divisive values. This shift is perhaps most apparent in his commentary about “character in the country,” which he feels has eroded amid a culture fixated on controversy over decency.

During the race, Plies regularly shared discussions about political issues, candidates, and more. In support of Harris, he shared the celebratory track “Mrs. 47,” which paid homage to the Vice President’s historic campaign. He also sold $80 custom hats bearing the slogan “First Female President of USA.” While Plies expressed disappointment in Florida, fellow Florida rap star  Lil Pump rejoiced with a victory lap that included a middle finger to Taylor Swift and Eminem on social media. Should Plies remove the “Mrs. 47” track? Do you want Plies to pursue a career in political coverage? Will Donald Trump ever reply to Plies? Kodak Black Thinks His Charity Event Was Canceled Over Donald Trump’s Win

Kodak Black has been a vocal supporter of Donald Trump for some time now. This doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise, considering Trump commuted his prison sentence on his final day in office back in 2021. According to the rapper, however, this could be resulting in some negative consequences for him.

TMZ reports that Kodak’s West Palm Beach charity event was recently canceled abruptly, and he suspects it allegedly has something to do with Trump winning the election. Allegedly, he made a deal to host the event at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches over a month ago. Earlier this week, law enforcement and event organizers shut down the plan, citing security as a major concern. Bradford Cohen, Kodak Black’s lawyer, tells the outlet he thinks this is allegedly all political.

“It seems very convenient that they canceled the event the day after the election,” he explained. Cohen also alleged that event organizers are now in breach of contract. Reportedly, Kodak has already dished out roughly $200K for the event, coordinating security, medical services, and more. “All public events must be permitted by the City of West Palm Beach. As of this time, the City has not issued a permit for Kodak Black Day, and therefore the event is not currently authorized to be held,” general manager of CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches Mike Sophia told TMZ.

This wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity allegedly had their event shut down due to political reasons, however. Recently, Waka Flocka Flame also had a meet and greet in D.C. canceled following the election. What do you think of Kodak Black suspecting that Donald Trump winning the election allegedly led to his West Palm Beach charity event getting canceled? Do you think this is the case or not? NYC Mayor Eric Adams Discusses Ending Migrant Aid Program, Plans to Align with President-Elect Trump

NYC Mayor Eric Adams

New York City Mayor Eric Adams addressed the decision to end the city’s program providing prepaid debit cards to migrant families in city-funded hotels, allowing them to buy their food.

Speaking on Thursday, Adams outlined his call with President-elect Donald Trump, during which they discussed collaboration on New York City’s pressing issues, including infrastructure, public safety, and affordability.

“I communicated with the president-elect to express the city’s needs and our intent to work together on behalf of New Yorkers,” Adams stated. He emphasized the importance of moving forward, adding, “The city must move forward, and that is what our call is to do.”

When asked if he and Trump shared views on public safety, Adams expressed confidence in finding common ground, stating, “All of us want to be safe, and that’s something we push for.”

Adams did not address whether immigration policy was part of their discussion or Trump’s recent statements regarding mass deportations. He also declined to comment on the impact of Trump’s presidency on his ongoing federal case, saying only that his “job is to fight on behalf of New Yorkers” and “defend this city.”

During his campaign, Trump blasted charges being placed on Adams, according to Politico, stating, “I just want to be nice because I know what it’s like to be persecuted by the DOJ for speaking out against open borders.”

He added, “We were persecuted, Eric. I was persecuted, and so were you.”
