Former Outlawz Rapper, Napoleon, Says Snoop Dogg Is Disrespectful To 2Pac

Napolean, a former rapper for Outlawz, says Snoop Dogg takes subtle digs at 2Pac when he discusses the late rapper. Speaking during an interview with The Art of Dialogue, Napolean explained how Allen Hughes and Snoop both make themselves look better while praising Pac.

“Some of these individuals, they very slick,” he began. “You have the Hughes brothers, you have certain individuals like Snoop, for example — they have a way where they acting like they praising Pac, but they[‘re] putting him down. Like [Allen Hughes] said, ‘[Snoop] dimmed his light for Pac to shine.’ They do it in such a slick way so you can be like, ‘Oh wow, he’s not a hater.’”

Snoop Dogg Speaks At 2Pac’s Posthumous Hall Of Fame Induction

NEW YORK, NY – APRIL 07: Presenter Snoop Dogg speaks about 2017 Inductee Tupac Shakur onstage at the 32nd Annual Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony at Barclays Center on April 7, 2017 in New York City. Allen Hughes is currently working on a biopic of Snoop Dogg. The comments referenced by Napoleon stem from an interview Hughes did with the Rap Radar Podcast, in which he explained how Snoop was one of the biggest stars during the 1990s. “You got a guy [Snoop] that was the rockstar of that era,” Hughes said. “And in the same era, he’s on trial for murder… and thank God, [he] beats the case. And then you got all that little window where Snoop dimmed his light for 2Pac. I never understood that back then. I remember Snoop just dimming his light and letting 2Pac shine when Snoop was the guy, y’know?” Check out Napoleon’s recent comments on Snoop Dogg and Allen Hughs below.

Hughes previously worked on the docuseries, Dear Mama, which released earlier this year. It followed 2Pac’s mother, Afeni Shakur. Be on the lookout for further updates on his biopic for Snoop Dogg on HotNewHipHop.

Drake’s Esperanza Spalding Jab Has Fans Up In Arms

Drake dropped his new album For All The Dogs yesterday, following months of teasing. Fans couldn’t wait to hear the potential beef that’d be laid out on the project, and of course, they’ve been speculating since it arrived. Listeners are hard at work dissecting the project line for line, suspecting shots at Rihanna, The Weeknd, Kanye West, NBA YoungBoy, and more. One diss fans didn’t expect, however, was Drake’s line about Esperanza Spalding. The jazz performer took home a Grammy in 2011 for Best New Artist, which Drake was also nominated for.

On his track “Away From Home,” the Canadian-born artist calls her out directly by name. “Esperanza Spalding was gettin’ all the praises/ I’m tryna keep it humble, I’m tryna keep it gracious/ Who give a f*ck Michelle Obama put you on her playlist?/ Then we never hear from you again like you was taken,” he raps.

Drake Disses Esperanza Spalding On “Away From Home”

The unexpected jab has certainly managed to get social media users talking, and from the looks of things, most of them aren’t pleased. Countless users think the lyric was uncalled for, and are coming fiercely to Spalding’s defense. It’s safe to say that her fans will not be letting this one slide. Many note her unmatched musical abilities, and think Drake could still be holding on to some hard feelings over the Grammy loss. Several others have also brought up the fact that Spalding seems like an odd choice for a diss, considering the countless rappers that have come at him in the past.

Sexyy Red Seemingly Shaded By Sukihana For Sex Tape Leak, Fans Claim

Whenever there’s a big scandal on the Internet, naturally fans start piling on other celebrities to it to spice things up. Moreover, a recent example of this concerns Sukihana’s new song and music video, which many interpreted as a diss towards Sexyy Red. “Stop lying bout what y’all really be doing,” the former wrote as an Instagram post’s caption promoting the track “5′ Foot.” For those unaware, the reason why people drew this connection is because someone leaked Sexyy’s sex tape on her Instagram Story. Of course, this was very rough for the rapper, who said that she would never do something like that.

Many stepped forward to express their support for Sexyy Red following this, but people seemed to think differently about this caption from Sukihana. The two close friends probably aren’t beefing, though, because “5′ Foot” came out before this whole scandal. As such, people are simply reading too deeply into this as fans, and might not know the extent of their relationship. After all, the two have worked together, they’ve publicly shown their chemistry, and they seem like good friends who support each other wherever.

Sukihana’s Music Promo Has Fans Blindly Calling It A Sexyy Red Diss

Another person who is a big fan of the “SkeeYee” hitmaker is JT, who took to Twitter to voice her support amid this leak drama. “Girl you know you sexyy!! gone do yo s**t, f**k what these h*es talkin bout you know you that b***h,” the City Girl wrote to Sexyy Red. This was a quote tweet of her initial response to the whole thing, which seemed more embarrassed and ashamed than angry. “I’m so heartbroken anybody that kno me knows I wouldn’t do no goofy s**t like that,” the St. Louis native expressed, showing that these attacks can have a much deeper effect on someone’s mental health.

Meanwhile, we’re sure that the two will link up again soon to clear this up in any way. Whether it’s for award shows, a night out on the town, or a studio sash, they keep the fun up wherever. For fans who still think there’s a shot here, we ask you to check the context. For more news and the latest updates on Sexyy Red and Sukihana, stick around on HNHH.

Lil Yachty Supposedly Dissed Lil Uzi Vert On New Song Debuted On OVO Sound

It’s been a hectic day for alleged disses, subliminals, and a whole lot of speculative fan theories. Not only do we have Drake’s new album For All The Dogs to digest, but his OVO Sound radio show also added to this pile of rumors. Moreover, Lil Yachty premiered a new, as-of-yet unreleased song on the platform, which many fans think contains a diss towards Lil Uzi Vert. It’s quite the innocuous reference and one that we can’t really confirm, but die-hards still put two and two together. What’s more is that it’s entirely possible that he responded to all these claims by calling cap on them via social media just hours after the station played the song.

“Do the right thing like you’re friends with Mookie,” Lil Yachty raps over a mellow, slow-paced beat. “No matter how bad they want the collab, I ain’t friends with [muted].” Of course, since he muted the intended mention, we might never know for sure who Lil Boat referenced. However, since he and Lil Uzi Vert don’t have a collab with each other (excluding a remix for HoodRich Pablo Juan), this is an understandable assumption. In addition, there’s the fact that they came up in a similar time and have fan crossover, as they were on the same legendary XXL Freshman Cypher in 2016.

Lil Yachty Seems To Suggest He Isn’t Friends With Lil Uzi Vert

Still, there are a lot of different people that Lil Yachty could’ve referred to with this bar completing the “Mookie” rhyme scheme. When you go through them, though (Boosie Badazz, Toosii, etc.), they don’t line up as logically. Regardless, this isn’t even really a diss if you think about it; do we expect every rapper ever to get along or hate each other and not just coexist together? The 26-year-old even seemed to address this with a recent tweet on Friday morning (October 6).

Charleston White Accuses Sexyy Red Of Having An STD

Recently, Charleston White took to social media to diss Sexyy Red. He shared a zoomed-in photo of the “Pound Town” performer, which includes a red circle highlighting what appears to be an inflamed mark on the corner of her mouth. “I ain’t lied yet! Keep eating that brown booty hole and f*cking Raw,” he captioned the photo. White’s post seemed to insinuate that Sexyy Red has an STD, and also appears to claim that some of the sexual acts she discusses in her music could be to blame.

It’s clear that White enjoys putting many people on blast, and Sexyy Red is no exception. Unfortunately, the hitmaker’s also not a stranger to getting shamed on the internet. Her persona and explicit lyrics continue to be fairly controversial, but she doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. She just recently dropped off a new track called “Shake Yo Dreads,” which has landed on countless fans’ playlists. With that being said, she’s also far from the first person White’s gone after recently.

Charleston White Disses Sexyy Red

Earlier this month, he shared his thoughts on Chrisean Rock and Blueface’s then-unborn son. The personality had some pretty unfortunate and hateful things to say about the child. He bet money that he’d be born with disabilities, and also that the child wouldn’t make it at all. Luckily, as far as fans know, Chrisean Jr. is very much alive and healthy.

It doesn’t look like Sexyy Red will be too bothered by the accusation, as she’s been open about her sexual health in the past. In June, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with chlamydia on two separate occasions, which caught her a lot of slack online. Some, however, made it their goal to catch it from her, though she made it clear she has since recovered. What do you think of Charleston White throwing shade at Sexyy Red? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Sexyy Red and Charleston White.

J. Cole Didn’t Diss NBA YoungBoy On New Verse, Manager Ib Claims

Hold your horses, folks; it looks like the apparent feud between J. Cole and NBA YoungBoy is more one-sided than people assumed. For those unaware, fans recently went wild for the former’s performance on the track “The Secret Recipe.” with Lil Yachty. While they assumed that he actually sent shots at YB in his verse, some more trustworthy authority figures cleared the air. Moreover, Dreamville manager and close friend of Cole’s, Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad, took to Twitter to address these speculations. He doesn’t understand how people drew this connection, although it’s not as unreasonable as he paints.

“I’m pretty sure this is [cap emoji],” Ib wrote on the social media platform. “Not sure how y’all heard that Cole verse and put that together, impressive [crying-laughing emoji].” Here’s what J. Cole actually rapped on the song that people think took aim at YoungBoy. “N***as makin’ threats and I laugh, that’s ’cause you ain’t a threat,” the North Carolina MC spit. “Don’t ask how I feel ’bout no rappers, s**t, they okay, I guess / Incomin’ call, press the button, the one that say accept / He FaceTime to ask for a feature and saw the face of death.”

Ib Denies Assumption That J. Cole Dissed NBA YoungBoy

Meanwhile, people think this connects back to the Baton Rouge hitmaker’s bars for J. Cole on his track “F**k The Industry, Pt. 2.” On it, YB took aim at a lot of different rappers, as the title suggests, but the feud with Cole might seem bizarre. Regardless, these more direct shots also center around features. “J a h*e, that n***a played it cold like he was gon’ do a feature,” YoungBoy rapped on the track. “So I texted his line a muscle sign, I swear it’s gon’ be nice to meet you.”

Of course, it’s likely that this intervention from Ib will kill this dead in the water. After all, the 4 Your Eyez Only lyricist is well-known for going back on rap beefs, especially with the newer generation outside of his style and approach. As such, maybe the Never Broke Again leader holds some contempt, but it looks like Cole isn’t reciprocating anything. With that in mind, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on YoungBoy and J. Cole.

Latto Shades Mystery Opps On “ISSA PARTY,” Fans Speculate

Latto dropped off her new song with BabyDrill today, “ISSA PARTY.” The energetic single contains quite a few bars dragging her opps, and of course, fans want to know who they’re directed at. Speculation is running rampant on social media, with countless users sharing their own theories on the shade.

In the past, Latto’s had beef with Ice Spice, Nicki Minaj, Coi Leray, and more. They’re all at the tops of fans’ lists when it comes to who the bars are aimed for. It seems like Coi’s certainly a solid contender, based on Latto’s line “B*tch, I’m red, not green, lil’ ho, stop playin’ with me.” She famously referenced Coi on her hit track “Put It On Da Floor,” comparing the hitmaker to a blunt. The “Players” made it clear that she didn’t appreciate the comparison, and later took a shot of her own at Latto on her song “Isabel Marant.”

Latto Drags Her Opps On New Song

“Hop up on that couch and roll up Latto out the bag,” she raps. Coi’s implication that Latto’s “green” doesn’t seem to have sat right with her. She later teamed up with Sexyy Red for a remix of Young Nudy’s “Peaches & Eggplants,” and dissed Coi’s dad, Benzino. “He don’t eat p*ssy, he gots to go / Give me that neck like Benzino,” she rhymes.

Coi then responded to the apparent diss on Twitter, sharing her and her father’s text exchange about the bar. In the messages, Benzino tells Coi that she simply “admires” her, and encourages her to “stay focused.” Coi responded by telling her father that she appreciates how situations like that “bring [them] together.” She then seemed to shade Latto, writing, “If you need to go viral, just mention my name. It works every time [kissing emojis]. enjoy !” Who do you think Latto’s shading on her new song? Will you be adding it to your playlist? Yo Gotti And Young Dolph’s Accused Killer Get Called Out In Jay Fizzle’s New Track

Yesterday (September 28), Jay Fizzle dropped of his new track, “FREE STR8DROPP, alongside an accompanying music video. The rapper is signed to the late Young Dolph’s label, Paper Route Empire. Fans were quick to notice that Fizzle references the man accused of killing Young Dolph, Justin “Straight Drop” Johnson. It sounds like Fizzle would like Straight Drop to get released from prison, so he can see him face the punishment he thinks he deserves.

“Tell ’em free Drop / I wanna see a n***a dead, not locked,” he rhymes. Straight Drop wasn’t the only one to fall victim to a diss on the new track. Fizzle also threw a jab at Yo Gotti, who was known to have beef with Young Dolph before the rapper was shot and killed in 2021. “Y’all go tell that big head-a*s n***a Gotti he a b*tch,” Jay Fizzle says on the song.

Jay Fizzle Goes After Straight Drop, Yo Gotti On “FREE STR8DROPP”

Jay Fizzle also isn’t the only one to have called out Young Dolph’s alleged murderers on a song. Earlier this month, the late rapper’s fiancée, Mia Jaye, dedicated a emotional song to them. “How could you take a father from his family and kids / Mr. Shooter, dear Mr. Shooter, what the f**k was you thinkin’/ You done f**ked up now,” she sang in a clip.

Straight Drop also released a song of his own from behind bars last year, “No Statements.” He appears to claim he’s innocent on the track, insisting that he’s just “a rapper” while “the state say that [he’s] a paid killer.” Obviously, Paper Route Empire artists didn’t take to the track very well. “It seem like somebody giving up some statements,” Paper Route Woo said of the song. Diddy Is “Old & Fruity,” Cassie’s Husband Alex Fine Declares

Cassie and Diddy said their final goodbyes to each other as lovers in 2018, and since then, the songbird has kept any negative feelings she harbours towards her ex mostly to herself. The following year, she moved on with personal trainer Alex Fine, who she’s now married to and shares two young children with. Though Cassie manages to hold back on spreading negativity, we can’t say the same for her husband, as he’s been feeding into long-standing rumours about Sean Combs’ sexuality multiple times on social media in recent years.

When the “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker dropped off his “Gotta Move On” single with Bryson Tiller last summer, some suggested the lyrics could be about Cassie. Around the same time, Fine’s IG Story lit up with a post name-dropping the track and encouraging his followers to donate to LGBTQ+ organizations. Now that Diddy is publicly discussing returning publishing to his Bad Boy artists, it seems the model’s other half has more to say about the New Yorker. “He’s so old [and] fruity 🏳️‍🌈,” Fine wrote on IG when reposting a photo from Combs’ stint on The Breakfast Club earlier this month

Cassie’s Man Has More to Say About Her Ex, Diddy

No context was provided as to why the father of two felt inclined to diss Diddy, but the timing suggests it could be related to Cassie’s music. Even if he was sticking up for his wife, Fine is still facing backlash for his choice of words. “Listen, Alex, you keep insinuating these types of remarks but it’s offensive to a community of people who are actually ‘fruity,’ as you would call it,” reality star Bobby Lytes publicly informed the fitness lover. “One day, you too will get old and btw you actually are the one that gives off FRUITY. Keep it cute [white] boy 🤷🏽‍♂️😘 🌈.”

As the internet continues to carry out the same debate about Diddy’s sexual preferences that’s been going on for decades, he remains focused on what’s ahead for him musically. The Love Album: Off The Grid allowed for the multi-talent to connect with vocalists like Summer Walker and Justin Bieber, but to follow that, he plans on tapping back into the rap market. Read more about that at the link below, and tell us if you think Alex Fine is being immature or not in the comments.
