Beyonce And JAY-Z Celebrate Whisky Launch With Elegant Paris Dinner

JAY-Z joined Beyonce in Paris to celebrate the launch of her new SirDavis American Whisky with a lavish dinner event. The Cowboy Carter singer shared a video recapping the event on her Instagram page on Saturday. She used the song, “Laisse-moi respirer,” by The Vrooming Crew & Dolores to score the clip. There were several notable faces among the attendees including Kelly Rowland, Lori Harvey, and more.

Beyonce named the whisky after her paternal great-grandfather Davis Hogue. In a statement from last month, she explained of the venture: “I’ve always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling. When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whisky was fated. SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy.”

A video of Drake going out for dinner in Miami is circulating on social media, as he’s been feuding with Rick Ross in recent months. DJ Akademiks posted the clip on Instagram while claiming that his haters said he couldn’t set foot in Ross’ hometown.

In the comments section of Akademiks’ post, fans had mixed responses with many suggesting the narrative is completely fabricated. “Literally nobody said Drake couldn’t go to Miami?” one user wrote. Another added similarly: “Nobody cares about where Aubrey goes. His career is suffering enough.” One more noted: “Y’all must didn’t hear what unk luke said? They be in SOUTH BEACH that’s not the real Miami.”

Drake’s appearance in Miami comes after Ross spoke at length about his decision to feud with the Toronto rapper during an interview on Nightcap Summer Sessions. “I’mma be honest: On some rap sh–, it was no conspiracies,” he said. “Rozay name was said… I’mma jump off the porch. That’s what I do. I’mma jump off the porch and I’mma have some fun and that’s what I did. I had some fun.” When asked how he decides who he responds to and who he lets slide, Ross added: “Is it something to gain for you? Somebody wake up and hate on Shay Shay, hate on Ocho, I mean… Let’s sit back, because not responding is a response when you a boss.”

G-Eazy Recalls Surprise Dinner With JAY-Z: “It Was Life-Changing”

G-Eazy says that he has experience regarding the viral “Dinner With Jay-Z Or $500k” debate that’s been going on over the internet for a number of years. Speaking with Carmelo Anthony and The Kid Mero for the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast, G-Eazy recalled how one of his managers set up a surprise dinner with the legendary rapper unbeknownst to him.

“I’m so locked in because I can taste it, I can feel it. I’m on the cusp of… I know what I’m sitting on and I’m locked in,” he said. “I’m in New York and I’m at Quad [Studios] working and you can’t bother me with anything. Nothing matters besides tunnel vision of this. And I’m in the last week of recording, finishing it and one of my managers, who’s a Jedi master, a legend in this industry, Gee Roberson goes like, ‘I’m pulling up. We’re going to dinner.’”

Kanye West is still in Dubai, and a recent dinner prompted speculation that he might want to purchase a property there. Moreover, he chopped it up over some food with real estate agent Marcel Remus, and the two appeared in a couple of snaps that surfaced online. While the details or nature of this conversation weren’t publicized, there are a couple of different considerations that could inform this meeting. One is that the Chicago rapper is interested in acquiring more real estate, whether that’s in the United Arab Emirates or in other parts of the world. It doesn’t have to be for him, either; he could be figuring out a way to get some other form of permit, ownership, or lease.

Of course, this last possibility points towards an infamous part of Kanye West’s past few years– which is saying a lot. Furthermore, he tried to organize concerts a couple of times already this year, if every single report about it is accurate. However, these efforts dodged Ye at every turn, despite the alleged proximity of his collab album with Ty Dolla $ign and his own solo work. Even though the hate train has died down a bit, he still has a lot to answer and atone for if he is to fully return to the public’s good graces.

Regardless, he probably got has bigger things on his mind, such as his relationship with his wife Bianca Censori. Apparently, the two recently went through a rough patch, but the 46-year-old and the architect are moving past that.

Moreover, the rapper met with the culinary expert and they all seemed to have a pretty good time together from what new pictures and videos indicate. While he was the subject of a lot of camera flashes, Bianca also called a lot of attention due to her braless white bodysuit look, keeping up her history of ruffling feathers and revealing a lot with her fashion. Regardless, this is their latest international adventure on Ye’s path of reclusion, possible new music, and dealing with he firestorm of his controversies.

Furthermore, this is something that allegedly caused the couple to go on a break just about a week ago. While things seemingly patched up since then, it also came amid reported rumors that Bianca Censori’s friends staged an intervention concerning her relationship with Kanye West when she recently went to her native Australia by herself. Maybe that’s what caused the alleged break in the first place. It’s all speculative, but at the very least, any issues going on behind the scenes aren’t apparent on their regular outings.

Meanwhile, Kanye West’s new single “Vultures” is the first tangible instance we have of his Ty Dolla $ign album legitimately materializing. It’s been a rough road up until this point, with canceled shows, pushed-back release dates, a search for a distributor, and very little remorse for his past comments that make fans less excited for new music. Amid all this, the Chicago rapper’s relationship with Bianca Censori has been relatively stable up until recently, when these rumors of a break swirled. But things already became complex long before then.

After all, plenty of ink’s been spilled over the past few months concerning their alleged relationship dynamic. Rick Ross says that he’d take a dinner with JAY-Z over $500,000 and explained his reasoning on social media. In doing so, he recalled a lunch meeting he had with the legendary rapper back in 2008. The comments come on the heels of JAY-Z finally weighing in on the age-old debate, telling fans taking the money is a smarter decision.

“I’ma take the dinner and I’ma tell you why. In ’08, before I turned in my second album, I had a meeting with Hov. We went to lunch,” he began, before referencing a restaurant in Manhattan. “He said ‘Rozay, versus writing to every beat you like, write to every record you can make work.’ He told me a quick story about ‘Big Pimpin’. I said, ‘Okay, bet.’ So, I went from writing one record to every 80 beats I liked, to writing 40 records outta every 80 beats I could make work.”

As for JAY-Z’s opinion on the hypothetical, he addressed it in a recent interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings. “You gotta take the money,” JAY-Z said. “You got all that in the music for $10.99 — that’s a bad deal. I wouldn’t tell you to cut a bad deal. Take the $500,000, go buy some albums, and listen to the albums. It’s all there.”

Britney Spears was recently photographed having dinner in New York City on Wednesday night (October 11) with some Colombian superstar friends. Moreover, she, J Balvin, and Maluma hit up Zero Bond for a sushi meal, and Page Six reported that the two reggaetón artists actually invited her over to their table after they saw her. Still, it’s a wild connection, as the pop star has never before been linked to them, who are good friends. However it came about, it’s at least heartening to see her spending time with some friendly faces and having fun. After all, the press run as of late hasn’t been too forgiving or anything less than chaotic when it comes to the Mississippi native.

Interestingly enough, though, it’s possible that she’s in The Big Apple to combat that very narrative. Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman In Me, comes out on October 24, and she might be in the area to do a small press run or engage in promotional activities. Whether it’s for her sometimes worrisome dancing clips, her divorce from Sam Asghari, or more, the media scrutinized her quite heavily over the past few months, if not years. Hopefully with this memoir and some more public statements (if she so chooses), the 41-year-old can find at least a bit of closure.

Still, all of this doesn’t seem to have slowed down her desire to keep coming out with new music, as she dropped a single with will.i.am earlier in 2023. In fact, maybe Britney Spears has more of that to come, or at least, that’s what she’s gunning for with a recent dance video. To the tune of Beyoncé’s “Daddy Lessons,” she called out people remixing her own songs and using this one as an example of her taking revenge. Not only that, but the “Toxic” star even asked Queen Bey’s husband for a feature.

“So many people have done remixes to my songs without my knowledge,” she captioned the since-deleted clip. “So I guess it’s safe to say I will be redoing this song eventually!!! Footage obtained by TMZ showed Shaq and Renner arriving at a Beverly Hills hotel for dinner around 6pm on June 5. The meal reportedly lasted around two hours, with both diners in good spirits. Afterward, the pair left separately around 8pm. However, sources from both camps have told TMZ in the strongest terms that the pair are not dating. Instead, they have been friends for some time and were merely catching up over dinner. Reportedly, it was reiterated several times to TMZ that the dinner was purely platonic.

The father of two was hosting a celebration for a new deal with his Branson Cognac brand and obviously didn’t hesitate to splurge. Insiders reveal that he and guests dined on a salt and pepper lobster alongside numerous steaks. The party went on until the restaurant closed. It was also attended by Power Book II: Ghost actor Woody McClain, DJ Camilo, and DJ Self.

Since sharing the post earlier this afternoon, Fif has earned plenty of praise in the comments for taking Jonathan Kirk under his wing and showing support, despite the numerous times the industry has tried to cancel him in the past.

Sheff G Reportedly Held Dinner Party For Gang Members After Hit

On Tuesday (May 16), Sheff G found himself in the middle of a massive arrest, charged alongside 32 other suspected gang members. As part of the gang bust, prosecutors alleged that these are members of the 8 Trey Crips and the 9 Ways and carried out dozens of shootings and at least one murder. Moreover, they maintain that the 140-count indictment stems from their attempt to consolidate power across territories. However, there is one event in particular that prosecutors believe strongly indicates Sheff and Sleepy Hallow’s involvement. Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez believes they reportedly treated eight alleged members to a Manhattan steakhouse dinner following a successful hit.

Specifically, they stand accused of celebrating a 2020 shooting that left Theodore Senior dead at 23, plus five other injuries, at Prospect Lefferts Gardens. According to NYPD Deputy Chief Jason Savino, Sheff G and Hallow donned matching outfits at the occasion. Also, they allegedly bestowed a custom gold necklace with the victim’s nickname etched onto it to a particular guest of honor at the dinner. The victims reportedly belonged to the Folk Nation gang, and Sheff confirmed the hit via text and also ordered another one because of a shooting at his house. Allegedly, his sister also participated in the attack by letting her brother know via text that a Folk Nation member “had to get hit or killed.”

“The senseless gun violence, allegedly committed by these defendants, terrorized our neighbors for years and left more than a dozen people with serious injuries,” Gonzalez remarked according to ABC7. “It is distressing to know that some of the violence was allegedly fueled by a young man who used money he made from a successful music career to allegedly pay for and encourage acts of violence. Sheff G became a prominent member of this gang and became central to our investigation. Sheff G used a lot of the money that he earned to facilitate further gang activity. He encouraged gang members to participate in violent crimes.”

Meanwhile, this case is all the more worrisome considering that the two Brooklyn drill rappers just got out of prison. Still, these are big charges to face, especially after such a long time behind bars. The Brooklyn D.A. also made it clear that not a “single lyric” contributed to their case against the rappers and their colleagues.
