2016 footage from the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles shows Diddy baeting Cassie in the hotel’s hallway.

In the video released by CNN, Diddy is seen running down the hotel hallway in a towel to catch Cassie as she attempts to leave in an elevator. Diddy throws Cassie to the floor by her neck, followed by kicks, stomps and an attempt to drag her down the hall by her hood.

Cassie attempted to use a hotel phone only to be pushed to the ground by Diddy again. Later in the video, he throws a vase at the singer.

Cassie’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, released the following statement: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

This video arrived just days after Diddy posted a new message on Instagram. In the post, captioned “LOVE,” Diddy shared an image that says, “Time tells truth.”

A federal rade on Diddy’s properties in March, led to the seizure of electronic devices in both his Los Angeles and Miami homes.

According to ABC, Homeland Security executed the raid by order of a Manhattan federal court, seizing devices in an investigation of sex trafficking as a result of civil lawsuits against the music mogul from four women.

Diddy and his legal team released a statement following the raids on his Los Angeles and Miami homes. In a statement, attorney Aaron Dyer stated that federal authorities used “military-level force” to execute the raid.

“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.

This unprecedented ambush—paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence—leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits. There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

On Nov. 16, 2023, Cassie filed a now-settled lawsuit against Diddy in federal court, accusing the media mogul of rape and abuse that began a decade ago when she was just 19 years old. The “Me and You” singer was previously signed to Diddy’s label Bad Boy Records, meeting him back in 2005. Since then, she alleges he took control of her life and accused him of acts of sex trafficking, human trafficking, sexual battery, sexual assault, and more.

In light of recent events, Cassie is hopeful Diddy will finally get the justice he deserves.

Her attorney issued a statement to Good Morning America following the raids of his home: “We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.”

Music producer Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged abuse of his ex Cassie Ventura has seemingly been confirmed by a hotel hallway security video that was obtained and circulated by CNN. The television report contained a clip of the video, in which Diddy throws Cassie to the ground and then stomps on her. You can see the clip below.

Ventura had previously filed a lawsuit against Combs alleging physical abuse and sexual assault by the music impresario; although Combs denied the charges, he also quickly settled the lawsuit less than a day after it had been reported by news publications. While Diddy’s lawyer argued that his settlement was not an admission of guilt, it looks like at least one of those alleged incidents has been confirmed.

Since then, Diddy has been the target of a slew of new lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct and violent behavior, including accusations from at least one woman who said he assaulted her when she was underage.

Combs and Ventura had a long, tumultuous relationship, with her claims against him later receiving support from songwriter Tiffany Red, who corroborated incidents in which Combs threatened them both. Another accusation from Cassie’s lawsuit, that Combs had rapper Kid Cudi’s car bombed in a fit of jealousy, was also seemingly confirmed by Cudi himself.

Diddy is also apparently under investigation by federal authorities after claims of sex trafficking were leveled against him by some of the lawsuits, with agents raiding multiple properties owned by the music mogul.

Despite the very serious subject matter of “Pick A Side,” King Combs opens the record with a sing-song tune interpolating the rhythm of the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” before launching a verbal assault upon 50 Cent. The opening lyrics state “They preying on our downfall another time again/ After the rainfall the sun gon’ shine again/ Don’t bust no U-turns cause we ain’t forgetting s***/ And to all y’all that switch, suck my d***.”

Clearly, King intends to use this cutesy tune to represent something of a calm before the storm, offering a humorous jab at detractors of his music mogul father. From here, King dives right in, with a banging club beat, complete with brass stabs and menacing high hats. The true opening lyrics to the song see King Combs taking on something of a New York drill-inspired flow, reminiscent of prominent figures in the modern rap landscape such as Pop Smoke or Ice Spice.

King Is Not Here For The “No Diddy” Jokes

If you’ve spent any time on social media in the last few weeks, you’re likely already familiar with the running gag of people saying “No Diddy.” This joke refers to the Bad Boy founder’s ongoing legal drama, which suggests he may have had inappropriate sexual conduct with several men. Fans have also harassed Meek Mill online, spreading rumors that he and Diddy engaged in covert homosexual acts.

For King Combs, this disrespect will not be tolerated, as the young artist raps “I dare one of you n****s scream out no Diddy/ Come blow with me” as the backing ad-libs shout “F*** that n**** up!” From there, Combs spends a few bars describing his sexual exploits with very attractive women, providing his hetero accolades to any potential listeners. Combs Might Have Accidentally Dry-Snitched On His Dad

Arguably the biggest highlight of “Pick A Side” comes toward the back end, as King seemingly gives away crucial information to the feds. While arguing that 50 Cent’s obsession with Diddy comes from jealousy, financial insecurity, or a fear that the Combs crew may have stolen 50’s girl, King references the recent federal raids on his dad’s properties, rapping, “Knock them walls down like when them feddy boys run in both our cribs/ Too bad they ain’t know we bought the one next door ’cause that’s the one they missed.” King continues to explain that his father was “On the G6 getting a line-up” during the time when the raids took place.

50 Cent responded to these bars in particular in a now-deleted Instagram post, stating “Now why would you say some like this when you know the FEDS are investigating. IS YOU STUPID OR IS YOU DUMB? LOL.” In true 50 Cent fashion, the “Many Men” rapper then upped the score by bringing King Combs’ sexual assault lawsuit to light, posting “I really don’t understand why they want to drug women, if she can’t remember how good it was the next morning How do you connect ?” King was accused of sexual assault just a month ago, by a woman named Grace O’Marcaigh.

Associate of Sean “Diddy” Combs Accepts Plea Deal in Drug Possession Case

Brenden Paul, an associate of Sean “Diddy” Combs, has made headlines after accepting a plea deal in a drug possession case stemming from his arrest in Miami earlier this year.

Paul’s arrest in March sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, particularly as he was implicated as a “mule” in a lawsuit filed against Combs by Bad Boy music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. The lawsuit alleged connections between Paul and the transportation of drugs and guns on behalf of Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment.

Brendan Paul, Diddy’s Alleged Drug ‘Mule,’ Reportedly Avoids Jail Time By Accepting A Plea Deal

In late March, Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami residences were raided by Homeland Security in connection with a federal sex trafficking investigation, which was the latest in a long string of troubling allegations and lawsuits involving Diddy.

Around the same time, Rolling Stone reported that 25-year-old Brendan Paul, described as Diddy’s drug “mule,” had been arrested in Miami and charged with cocaine and marijuana possession. Paul had been named in a bombshell lawsuit filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones alleging Paul acquired and distributed drugs and guns in association with Diddy.

On Thursday, May 16, TMZ reported that Paul accepted a plea deal and will avoid any jail time.

“Brendan accepted the prosecutor’s offer to permit his entry into the diversion program which, after completion, the case against him will be dismissed in its entirety,” Brian Bieber, Paul’s attorney, told TMZ.

Additionally, an unnamed representative for the Miami-Dade State Attorney confirmed to TMZ that Paul “has enrolled in a drug diversion program, which should last about six months,” and Paul will not have to serve in jail or probation if he “completes the course without issue.”

This stretch of relentless headlines surrounding Diddy began last November when Cassie filed a lengthy lawsuit alleging physical and mental abuse and rape. Diddy immediately settled with Cassie but maintained his innocence.

March 2024: Meek Mill Named In Diddy Lawsuit

In the track, he specifically called out 50 Cent for mocking his father and the Combs family amid the various allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking. 50 Cent swiftly trolled the track by sharing images of the alleged victim’s injuries on Instagram. Meek Mill, however, criticized 50 Cent’s reaction, accusing him of feuding with a child. 

In a series of now-deleted tweets, he expressed his disapproval. “Because your federal the street n***as in queens know that’s why you tryna pick on a lil boy,” he began. “Your own son hate your guts lol I’m so grateful to be on an island with my son and his friends on his bday… Ya’ll niggas, 50 online beefing with kids…” According to HipHopDX, Meek concluded his rant by labeling 50 Cent as “mentally sick” and “a rich parasite.”

May 13, 2024: Is The Beef Over?

In typical fashion, 50 Cent responded, mocking Meek Mill’s low album sales and sexual orientation allegations. He captioned the post: “You sold 6k copies your last project, you should not be on vacation. Still chasing the dream or embracing the nightmare. Standing by your man, that I respect!”

In his response tweet, Meek deflected the allegations that his latest project was a flop. He wrote: “My last project sold 90k first week expensive pain …Ross did that last cd for fun to let me out my contact cause we rich and have some type of history! It’s different lol i don’t even know how Cuban was talking to you ya swag is extremely wack!”

Sadly, it seems his response didn’t hit as hard as he hoped it would. Furthermore, 50 Cent wasted no time to respond, putting an end to his side of the beef. He posted a video of Meek Mill and Diddy at a party, and captioned it: “I commend you for being a strong supportive woman for your man meek, stay by his side and together you guys may have a good life. GOD BLESS!”

Diddy Accuser Lil Rod Drops High Profile Music Exec Names From Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, the producer who named several people and companies in his initial sexual assault lawsuit against music mogul Sean “DIddy” Combs a few months ago, has reportedly removed several high-profile defendants from his lawsuit against the head Bad Boy.

The original lawsuit listed Universal Music Group and its chairman Sir Lucian Grainge as defendants because they had “aided and abetted” Puffy in his alleged sexual abuse. Jones has now taken those names off of the suit, as well as that of Motown Recordings and those names that have now been removed cannot be refiled.

Attorney for Lil Rod, Tyrone Blackburn, said in a sworn statement filed in court, “Based on my examination of all of the papers submitted in support of both motions to dismiss, which addressed the issues I had, I have concluded that there is no legal basis for the claims and allegations that were made against the UMG Defendants.” He added, “As such, I have determined that the proper course of action is for all of the claims and all of the allegations to be withdrawn immediately.”

Grainge, UMG and Motown had already tried to get Jones’ suit against them dismissed, stating, “All of the claims against Grainge, Motown and UMG Recordings (the ‘UMG Defendants’) in the [second amended complaint] are lacking in any legally cognizable basis.”

Diddy Shares Message on Instagram: ‘Time Tells Truth’

Sean 'Diddy' Combs Rebrands Combs Enterprises to Combs Global as Business Portfolio Expands

Diddy posted a new message on Instagram. In the post, titled “LOVE,” Diddy shared an image that says, “Time tells truth.”

In recent Diddy news, this past April, Raven Wales-Walden, a former nanny for the mogul, withdrew her pregnancy discrimination lawsuit related to her termination in 2021. Initially filed in September 2022 in Los Angeles Superior Court, the lawsuit also accused Combs Enterprises LLC and three other companies of retaliation and state Labor Code violations.

According to MyNewsLA, on April 2, Wales-Walden’s attorney submitted court documents to Judge Maureen Duffy-Lewis requesting the dismissal of her complaint “with prejudice,” barring its re-filing. The reasons for withdrawing the case are not specified in the court filing.

According to an amended complaint filed in April 2023, Wales-Walden had a close relationship with the late Kim Porter, Combs’ former partner and mother of his twin daughters. Initially hired as Porter’s assistant in September 2018, Wales-Walden later became a full-time nanny to Porter’s daughters at Combs’ request following Porter’s death in November 2018.

The amended complaint highlighted Wales-Walden’s significant role in the children’s lives and her commitment to honoring Porter’s memory by accepting Combs’ offer. While the reasons behind the lawsuit’s withdrawal remain undisclosed, this development marks the conclusion of a legal dispute that attracted attention due to its high-profile nature.

Meek Mill Calls DJ Akademiks A “Rapist Type” In Explosive X Rant

Meek Mill continues to make headlines for everything but music. The Philadelphia rapper spent most of May 13 arguing with other artists on X (formerly Twitter). He was on the losing side of most of them. He exchanged words with 50 Cent, arguably the genre’s greatest troll. 50 clowned Meek for the low sales of his last album and for being friends with Rick Ross. Then Soulja Boy came out of the blue and went at the rapper for his questionable relationship with Diddy. Meek’s frustration culminated in an unexpected way, as he then turned around and insulted DJ Akademiks. Yeah, bizarre.

In a since-deleted tweet, Meek Mill absolutely laid into Akademiks for exploiting hip-hop culture. “I been told him stop posting me they business flow when they speak only on the culture,” the rapper explained. He then went about insulting Ak in a very odd and specific manner. “They all post bad about me because I don’t pay non of them,” he added. “That’s why they have Akademiks a rapist type couch potatoe [sic] controlling the narrative on the biggest battles to keep track.” He didn’t claim Ak was a rapist, but then described him as a “rapist type,” which is not much better.

Meek Mill Previously Blocked Akademiks On X

This is not the first time Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks have had beef. The disdain is mutual. In March 2024, Akademiks called the rapper out for promoting a positive lifestyle while attempting to talk tough on social media. “Meek Mill think he can be a Activist in the daytime… and Villain at night,” he wrote. “N**ga must think Philly is Gotham City.” Meek responded by blocking the internet personality and making fun of him while he did it. “Ima show yall how you hurt computer geeks just the ‘block button’ I’m still shooting a vid in front of your house,” he quote-tweeted. “I’m still coming I only wanna hear from you in person lol.”

Akademiks went on to claim that he won his squabble against the rapper because he got blocked, so the bit didn’t have the bite Meek wanted. Based on the recent string of tweets, however, the block didn’t last very long. Akademiks has been a source of criticism for many rappers, and what Meek had to say about his tendency to exploit drama is valid. Where he lost most fans, and where he usually loses fans, is when he took things too far by saying something uncalled for. It’s telling that Meek deleted the “rapist type” tweet almost immediately. Even he knew it was a bad look.
