Bernice Burgos Addresses Her Shocking Earnings As A Bartender

Recently, Bernice Burgos appeared on The Joe Budden Podcast, and one of her claims sparked a huge debate. At one point in the interview, she was asked how much she’d earn per night as a bartender at Startlets in New York City. According to her, it was a lot and got even better on special nights like her birthday. “I only bartended for three years,” she said after revealing that she earned between $30-70K per night, “I only said three years I was gonna be in here, start my clothing line, and I was out—buy my house and do what I gotta do, and that’s what I did.”

“I make sure I give you the bottles for $250. The bottles cost $350. So I’m gonna hustle,” she continued. “You don’t gotta tip me, you don’t gotta give me the tip right there. You tip me later down the line, like throwing money. So I was smart, you know? I just built a relationship with the people in there.”

Bernice Burgos Says If You Know You Know

“I don’t do too much. I used to be covered with a whole body suit on,” she also added. Burgos’ revelation has now sparked a fierce debate among social media users. While some are calling cap on her claims, others aren’t shocked. “She made money but she over doing with that number,” one user in The Shade Room‘s comments section writes. “Guys she not lying! You don’t understand the bartending nightlife in New York City was different back in the day,” another insists.

Now, Burgos has hopped online to come to her own defense. “If you know you know,” she says in a new clip. “If you was in the nightlife in New York City… You know what happened on Powerball Sundays, you already know. I don’t know what’s going on now.”

Lil Wayne & Drake Put On Blast For Not Defending Nicki Minaj Amid Grammy Snub

The 2025 Grammy Awards nominations arrived last week, and have since earned mixed reactions from social media users. While some are celebrating the impressive number of nominations for artists like Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar, others are calling attention to the lack of recognition for other favorites like Nicki Minaj. The “FTCU” rapper didn’t receive a single nomination despite the success of her album Pink Friday 2, which has the Barbz up in arms.

While this is nothing new for Nicki, countless supporters are coming to her defense online, and arguing that she deserved better. Some are even calling out her celebrity peers for not bringing more attention to the issue. After the nominations were announced, for example, Capella Grey took to X to seemingly call out Lil Wayne and Drake.

Capella Grey Appears To Question Lil Wayne & Drake’s Loyalty

“Drake and Wayne cant act so clueless when it come to loyalty all the time. now i pree y shorty b so tight ngl. she risking her whole reputation on rants to defend em, & theyre response really be ‘lol im neutral chill’ when its on the [reverse]. Mayb NY’ers just move diff? .. yea idk,” the performer wrote. Unsurprisingly, Grey’s post has sparked a major debate. Several fans in his replies are accusing Nicki herself of being disloyal, and arguing that Lil Wayne and Drake have no obligation to defend her.

This prompted Grey to walk back his comments. “Ma fault. I aint know the disloyalty was so both ways,” he wrote in a follow-up tweet. “Lemme just stay outta ppl business on twitter.” What do you think of Capella Grey calling out Lil Wayne and Drake for not defending Nicki Minaj after she wasn’t nominated for a Grammy? What about him changing his stance later? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Joe Budden Calls Drake A “B*tch” For His Beef With DeMar DeRozan

Drake is in the middle of another beef as of last weekend. This time it’s with NBA all-star forward DeMar DeRozan. The Boy was partially at the Raptors game on November 2 for Vince Carter’s jersey retirement ceremony. Coincidentally, the Sacramento Kings were in town, which is the team that the former Raptor currently plays for. So, after hearing clips of Drake labeling DeMar a “goof,” threatening to rip down the player’s jersey from the rafters if it gets enshrined, and saying derogatory things under his breath, it’s clear he was there to make his presence felt.

DeMar has since responded, both in a post-game press conference and with a cryptic IG Story post. Overall, it seems that these two are really at odds with one another after being around each other for almost 10 years. It might be why Drake is feeling some type of way, especially since they both became stars together. That is the angle that Joe Budden’s panel took and most of them could understand why the rapper is upset.

The Joe Budden Podcast Gets Into It Over Drake Versus DeMar DeRozan

However, and to no one’s surprise, Joe Budden himself completely disagreed. He mentions the “Not Like Us” cameo and essentially said that if he’s had a friend who had a problem with him doing a similar thing and didn’t want to discuss it and move on, then he wants no parts of that friendship anymore. The Joe Budden Podcast argued that it was the way DeMar emphasized Kendrick Lamar’s point in the video that had them seeing Drake’s side. Joe did admit that Drizzy is allowed to feel how he wants to. But it’s the “ability to navigate the conflict” or lack thereof he has an issue with. That’s when the crescendo of his argument came as Joe labeled Drake a “b****” for his actions during the broadcast and on the sidelines.

We are sure that quote is going to ruffle some feathers. What are your thoughts on Joe Budden calling Drake a “b****” for how he’s handling the DeMar DeRozan situation? Do you think he’s strictly hating, or do you agree that the rapper is going about this the wrong way? Are you on The Boy’s side or the NBA star’s side? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Erica Banks Has The Internet Disgusted For Throwing Her Controversial BBL Back On A Fan

Overall, there aren’t a lot of folks out there that jive with Erica Banks. That’s not to say she has hardly any either. She’s built herself up a lot in the hip-hop world over the last couple of years thanks to some big singles and she’s not slowing down. But many out there don’t see that angle. You could argue that a lot of that is shrouded in her confident personality and the decisions she has made outside of music. One of those is definitely the second round of surgery she had done. The internet has felt that her first BBL was more than enough, and many were dubbing it one of the most natural-looking procedures they’ve ever seen.

However, she went against all of those compliments and did what she felt was right. From an outsider’s perspective, it’s been the complete opposite and she’s been dragged relentlessly ever since. To her credit, Erica Banks has never wavered or reconsidered her decision. The Texas femcee has displayed it on many public occasions, proudly we may add. That happened again at one her recent performances in which one fan got to see her BBL up close and personal. She twerked on him as he sat on a chair front and center while the crowd went wild. The concertgoer seemed to enjoy the display, but unsurprisingly, the same cannot be said for the rest of the internet.

“Well she definitely got more than her money’s worth, I’ll tell ya that 🥴” one fan writes with assumed disgust. “Anyone else face scrunched up? 🥴” another similarly adds. Others were making references to the SpongeBob SquarePants character Squidward, writing, “When squidward ate all the krabby patties in the vault 😂” However, there were some taking it there, claiming that Erica will soon regret her BBL. “Her removal journey will start in about 5 years.” The most likely scenario will be that Erica will continue to press forward regardless of the critique. She’s more than used to it now and we her the best going forward.

What are your thoughts on Erica Banks twerking on a concertgoer at her show? Do you think the internet is being too harsh on her plastic surgery? Fat Joe Alleges Hip-Hop Media Was Partially Responsible For 2Pac & Biggie’s Murders

Last month, Kendrick Lamar sat down with SZA for Harper’s Bazaar and sparked a major debate. Several social media users and peers argued that it was a “softball” interview, and would have liked to see K-Dot sit down with a hip-hop outlet instead. Amid the backlash, TDE Punch took to X to come to Kendrick’s defense, arguing that hip-hop media is to blame.

“I respect Hip Hop Journalism and feel it’s needed in its truest form. It help keep the culture alive,” he wrote in part. “But it’s only a few real ones left. Most of you guys are trash. Just my opinion. That’s why artist don’t want to talk to you.”

Now, during a recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Fat Joe has shared his take on the situation. According to him, Punch might be onto something. He even argued that magazines like Vibe and The Source could have allegedly played a role in the deaths of Biggie and 2Pac. “I also believe that the old guard of hip-hop journalists created a lot of conflict and might even have blood on their hands,” he explained.

“When you talk about East Coast-West Coast, Biggie-Tupac, that thing was amplified, and they both ended up dead,” he continued. “And, when I look at the so-called journalists that were here from day one, since Vibe and The Source [magazines] and all that, still to this day when they interview people and they do podcasts themselves, it’s always a negative route.” Fat Joe added that artists have more leverage now thanks to social media, podcasts, and shows like his own. Lil Durk Fans Blame Trolls For Legal Trouble And Cause Debate Around His Alleged Actions

There’s been a lot of debate around the shocking arrest of Lil Durk for alleged murder-for-hire conspiracy among his fanbase. Mainly, it revolves around fans’ endorsement or condemnation of his alleged actions and how there’s a split between those that were always against it and those that are now eating their words. Specifically, the former group pointed to the latter’s “Slide For Von” movement on social media that allegedly sought to goad the Chicago rapper into retaliating against the murder of King Von. You can see some examples of this divisive conversation by scrolling further down below, and it’s not a pretty one.

For those unaware, Lil Durk has been charged for allegedly organizing a hit on Quando Rondo to retaliate for the murder of King Von. A 2022 shooting in Rondo’s vicinity ended up taking the life of his cousin Lul Pab, which federal authorities claim is on Durk’s hands now. However, Quando himself recently took to Instagram to seemingly address the matter, although he didn’t mention The Voice by name. Either way, a lot of fans are looking at this feud very differently now.

Lil Durk Fans Call Each Other Out

Some were always advocating for Lil Durk and Quando Rondo to not resort to violence, whereas others took it more lightly. Nevertheless, here’s what Rondo had to say recently. “We didn’t get into this music industry to make it just to stay caught up in this street s**t,” he wrote on Instagram. “We all have families and communities counting on us. It’s time to leave all that behind. We’ve already lost so much, and it’s heavy on my heart to forgive anyone I had issues with in the past. It’s all love from me. Praying for everyone. ‘Life Goes On.’”

More Reactions

Meanwhile, other reports claim that Lil Durk alleged to have lost his phones before U.S. Marshals arrested him in Florida. It’s unclear whether this could have any implications in his case, and it’s far too early to tell for sure. Nevertheless, debates around this legal trouble will most likely continue raging for the foreseeable future. We’re still in the early stages, so there are a lot of unanswered questions concerning these alleged crimes that no one should jump to conclusions about. Check out this debate in the tweets down below.

Ice Spice Shocks Fans With Dramatic New Hair Color

Yesterday, Ice Spice popped out for the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, and shocked fans with a dramatic new look. The “Bikini Bottom” rapper stunned in a sparkly sheer dress and a pair of pink platforms. She ditched her signature orange hairstyle for curly dark hair, which is closer to her natural color. She shared a series of photos from the evening on Instagram recently, sparking mixed reactions from fans.

While some fans are here for NYC rapper’s new look, others miss her old style and are demanding that she bring it back. Either way, it looks like Ice Spice was feeling herself. It’s unclear at the time of writing whether or not the dark hair was just for the night, or if she plans to stick with it for a while.

Ice Spice Debuts Dark Hair

This isn’t the first time fans have seen Ice Spice with dark hair, as she also rocked a short dark hairdo for her Betty Boop Halloween costume last year. She might have sparked some controversy for flashing her hometown crowd onstage, but for the most part, supporters loved the creative costume. She complemented her jet-black hair with a tiny red dress and black heels.

Ice Spice’s hairstyle isn’t the only thing about her sparking debates these days either. She’s also been at the center of rampant rumors that she’s using Ozempic. She denied the accusations in August, but they’ve persisted. According to her, she lost weight only with diet and exercise. “It’s called eating healthy. It’s called being on tour. Like what the hell. Maybe if I was sitting at home all day it’d be easier to stay big,” she told fans on Twitter Spaces at the time. What do you think of Ice Spice popping out with dark hair? Joe Budden Refuses To Apologize For Ranking His Mixtape Catalog Above Lil Wayne’s

Earlier this month, Joe Budden sparked a major debate, and now he’s doubling down. During a recent episode of his podcast, his co-host Ice asked “Who has the greatest mixtape discography?” Budden’s answer was simple but has since earned him some backlash. “Oh, that’s easy. Me,” he said.

After some discussion, Budden settled on a list of six names. “Yeah, I’m stopping it there: Jeezy, Wayne, 50, me, Fab and Kiss [Jadakiss],” he declared. Now, in response to the outrage over his remarks, he’s decided to clarify. In the newest episode of the podcast, he explained that he was simply sharing his own opinion, and wasn’t trying to persuade anyone to change their own.

Joe Budden Says He Was Just Sharing His Opinion

“I just want to announce that because my answer is something to a question, by no means am I trying to convince y’all to have the same answer or share in that,” Budden explained. “Yeah, I hate that sh*t. Answer a question on the pod and n****s want to come argue with you about your answer to a f*ckin’ subjective question. F*ck you n****s.” He went on, noting how he never actually said his mixtape discography was better than Lil Wayne’s, despite what some reports suggested.

Backlash over his mixtape remarks isn’t the only thing Budden’s fired back at recently, however. Earlier this week, he also shut down Jaguar Wright, who alleged that she saw a video of Budden having sex with Stevie J. “She is grabbing the salacious and very obvious headlines and expounding on them with s**t,” he said. “I can say with 100% certainty, oh, that this lady just be saying s**t to add to the luster of whatever the f**k she’s saying.” What do you think of Joe Budden doubling down on his stance that he has the greatest mixtape catalog? Do you agree with him or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Joe Budden Podcast Debates If Drake Is In A Position To Go At JAY-Z

Overall, 2024 is a year to forget for Drake. He was publicly embarrassed by Kendrick Lamar and some of his output is some of the worst of his career. However, it seems like he may be heading into 2025 with another titan in his sights. At the top of the week, Drake interestingly posted the infamous 2014 elevator quarrel between JAY-Z and Solange to his Instagram Story. It was a weird and inexplicable debacle that seems to not be an issue for anyone that was involved. Even with that being known, there’s some speculation going on that is suggesting that Drizzy’s trying to use it as ammunition against Hov.

Some think that this has something to do with Jay selecting Kendrick for the Super Bowl Halftime Show, but it’s murky. Overall, Drake has had issues with the Roc Nation boss previously, so it’s not too surprising in that regard. However, it is in that same breath because The Boy tried to take down K. Dot and it fired back in a pretty devastating fashion. Of course, there’s also the Pusha T takedown from a few years ago as well.

The Joe Budden Podcast Debates Drake & JAY-Z

Some of these points were made on a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast while debating whether or not Drake should go at one of the G.O.A.T.s. One person on the panel thinks because he’s been so dominant in terms of sales and plays, his ego is clouding his judgement and it’s causing him to lose to the “big dogs.” They also brought up Hov’s past battles with a Nas, for example. Joe Budden thinks Drake should take the Nicki Minaj approach and go for the corporations (Roc Nation in this case) that he feels are sabotaging him. Both are pretty sound arguments, so we need to hear your answers to the following questions.

What are your thoughts on Joe Budden and the panel debating whether or not Drake should start feuding with JAY-Z? Whose argument do you agree with more and why? Do you think Drizzy was calling out Hov a few days ago? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Pusha T Explains His Stance On Kendrick Lamar Headlining Super Bowl Halftime Show

Everybody has something to say about the Super Bowl halftime show this year, whether it’s about Kendrick Lamar versus Lil Wayne or Drake versus allegedly rejected offers to perform at it. Regardless of your take on the whole thing, there’s only one element that we know for sure at press time, and it’s that K.Dot will take the stage. As such, some people are just focusing on praising this moment and treasuring what it means for the genre. On this note, Pusha T recently elaborated on his initial co-sign of the announcement during a recent Q&A session.

Man, it is amazing,” Pusha T said of Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show announcement. “Like, you got to think. I’m sure people have said and have told him his whole career, like, ‘Oh my God, you rap good, you’re great, but you rap too much. You need to make a song like this, you need to do that.’ It’s amazing to watch him be exactly who he is, be the lyric king, and people who never even listen to lyrics are reciting his freestyles, his battles, you know, his songs. It’s great to watch. And it’s great for what it is that we do in lyric-driven hip-hop. It’s great to see.”

Pusha T Praises Kendrick Lamar

Of course, we know that Pusha T and Kendrick Lamar have love and respect for one another not just as past collaborators, but more broadly as hip-hop artists. Kendrick shouted Push out as another Drake rival on his “euphoria” diss, and the latter seems honored to have been a part of that song. “Incredible,” he told Vulture of the six-minute cut. “Incredible display, incredible display of battle raps. Listen man, Kendrick…” “It was a master class,” his brother and fellow Clipse spitter No Malice added.

However, not all praise for Kendrick Lamar has to come from Drake’s opponents… Well, current opponents, anyway. “Nah I f**k with drake he cool,” Meek Mill responded to a fan’s question about this year’s battle on Twitter. “Him and Kendrick beef has nothing to do with me I fw k dot too I have all their disses on my playlist right now.”
