Matthew Perry Posed In Hot Tub For His Final IG Post Just Days Before Drowning

Matthew Perry’s final Instagram post is resurfacing online following his tragic passing at the age of 54 on Saturday. Just six days prior to drowning in his hot tub, he shared a picture of himself relaxing in the jacuzzi of his Los Angeles home.

“Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman,” Perry captioned the photo. Fans have since flocked to the post to share messages in honor of the late actor. “We love you. We miss you. Thank you for everything you gave us! Hope you now have some peace,” one user commented. Another wrote: “Just devastated. Thank you for the laughs and sharing your gift. Rest easy!”

TMZ reports that Perry’s assistant found his body in the jacuzzi shortly after he got home from a 2-hour round of pickleball in the morning. An investigation into his death is currently underway; however, no drugs were found at the scene and foul play is not suspected. Check out his final Instagram post below.

Matthew Perry Dead At 54 After Apparent Drowning: Report

Matthew Perry, best known for his role of Chandler Bing on the iconic sitcom, Friends, has died at the age of 54 after an apparent drowning. Law enforcement sources told TMZ he was found in his jacuzzi at a home in the Los Angeles area on Saturday. The outlet reports that no foul play is suspected and no drugs were found at the scene. First responders had been called to the residence for cardiac arrest.

Perry was born in Williamstown, Massachusetts, on August 19, 1969, and raised in Ottawa, Canada. He moved to Los Angeles as a teenager to pursue a career in Hollywood. At the age of 24, he landed the role of Chandler Bing. He worked on the show for 10 seasons alongside Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer, and earned an Emmy nomination in 2002.

“I was 24 when I got on the show,” he said in the 2004 book Friends … ‘Til the End. “I’ll be 34 when it’s over, and those are really important years in somebody’s life. So to do it all in public … was difficult. At first you have the wave of ‘I’m famous, and this is exactly what I’ve wanted my whole life.’ But then you go through the whole recluse stage where you think, ‘I wish everybody would stop staring at me.’ And then you eventually, hopefully, get through all that. You find things in your life that are grounding, like your family and good friends.”

Behind the scenes, Perry struggled with addiction, seeking treatment on multiple occasions. He once told BBC Radio 2 that he was unable to remember filming seasons 3 through 6 of Friends. In recent years, the treatment center, Phoenix House, awarded him for advocacy helping fellow addicts.

2Pac Was “Tense” Leading Up To His Death, Outlawz Rapper Napoleon Claims

During a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, former Outlawz rapper Napoleon spoke on 2Pac. According to him, the performer was acting different in the days leading up to his murder, and those around him could tell something was off. He says that he 2Pac grew suspicious of the people around him, sparking some concern among his associates.

“I remember when he first went back [to New York] — this is a week before he got killed,” he began. “When we went to New York, it was tense. They had him staying in some hotel — I forget the name of it, but it’s in the middle of the city.” Napoleon continued, recalling the late icon being extra cautious ahead of his 1996 shooting. “While everybody was chillin’, doing their thing, I’m just in the window…saying nothing. […] And Pac walked over to me, because he was like, ‘[He] actin’ weird.’ […] I said, ‘Pac, I’m watching everybody in this hotel.’ And he was shocked. But that’s how he had us, because he was kind of paranoid.”

Napoleon Says 2Pac Was “Paranoid”

This isn’t the only time Napoleon’s spoken on 2Pac as of late, however. During another recent interview with the outlet, he claimed that when 2Pac’s peers discuss him nowadays, they sneak diss him in attempts to make themselves look better. Specifically, he called out Snoop Dogg and Allen Hughes.

“Some of these individuals, they very slick,” he explained. “You have the Hughes brothers, you have certain individuals like Snoop, for example — they have a way where they acting like they praising Pac, but they[‘re] putting him down. D.C. Young Fly Reveals His Well-Being Amid Losing Several Loved Ones

One harsh and deep truth is that the happiest people on the outside suffer the most. That is unfortunately true about one of the funniest comedians in recent memory, D.C. Young Fly. The Atlanta, Georgia native has been through a lot over the past year or so. The most recent tragedy was the loss of his three children and longtime partner, Jacky Oh. She passed this past May, and recently, D.C. got a tattoo to forever remember how much she means to him. He shared the ink to his social media to go along with a touching caption.

“We in this together and forever !!! My Angel my baby my wife the Queen of my children. I wish there was a reset button. It may be a lot of things we don’t want to do but we are force to do.” He continues, “We must continue on with the mission but GOD has granted us all strength we mus continue to give praise to THE MOST HIGH through the midst of pain #KeepGODFirst #StayPrayedUp #GODIsTheBestHealerIKno.” On top of that, he also got one for his late cousin, Erica.

Curren$y Says Memphis Isn’t The Same Since Young Dolph’s Death

Curren$y says that visiting Memphis isn’t the same since Young Dolph died in 2021. He explained how not being able to reach out to his “potna” has changed the experience for him on Twitter in a post from last week. “Landing in Memphis and not reaching out to my potna to get the fire is crazy man. Long live flipper [dolphin emoji],” he wrote.

Young Dolph was shot and killed while visiting Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies where he would often frequent while in town. An autopsy later revealed that he suffered 22 gunshot wounds in the attack. Dolph was just 36 years old at the time of his death.

Prince Dre Recalls King Von’s Death: “I Was There”

During a recent interview with No Jumper, Prince Dre recalled the death of King Von. The Chicago-born rapper was involved in a shooutout in Atlanta in November of 2020, which resulted in his untimely passing. According to Prince Dre, he was around when the 26-year-old was shot, but wasn’t aware of how dire the situation was until later.

“I was around but I wasn’t right there though,” he explained when asked where he was when he heard the news. He also confirmed that he was in Atlanta the night of the shooutout. “I ain’t gon lie, I ain’t know folks got shot until all that sh*t was over with,” he continued. “Like later on.” When Adam 22 asked him where he was when the actual shooting took place, he claimed that he was there. “I was there,” he said. “I just wasn’t right right there.”

He elaborated, describing how he was “around” while not actually being at the exact location of the shooting. “It was a lot of people out there,” he recalled. “Basically, I heard it and I’m running into it, but I’m seeing everybody running. So I’m like, ‘damn, should I run to that sh*t?’ It was like some sh*t stopping me like, ‘hell no, you trippin’.’ So I’m just trying to see, pay attention to everything. Then when that sh*t was over with, everybody panicking and sh*t. They getting at ‘folks got hit.’ What?” he recalled thinking. “That’s how that sh*t was.”

Lul Tim, born Timothy Leeks, was arrested and charged with King Von’s murder in November of 2020. The Quando Rondo affiliate was then released on bail in 2021, and was preparing to go to trial. His charges were dropped in August of this year, however, after evidence surfaced appearing to show King Von assaulting Quando Rondo ahead of the shooting. YG’s Children’s Mother Gets Into Tragic Car Crash, 89-Year-Old Woman Dead

The mother of YG’s two daughters, Catelyn Sparks, was involved in a deadly car accident in Los Angeles today. According to reports, an 89-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, Sparks’ injuries weren’t as severe, and she was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the crash was purely accidental, and Sparks didn’t commit any crimes. Authorities also note that no drugs or alcohol was involved.

Sparks is reported to have been driving a 2023 Tesla while the other woman was driving a 1985 Cadillac. The crash was the result of a U-turn gone wrong, leading to Sparks hitting the woman’s driver-side door. She has yet to comment on the accident.

YG and Sparks welcomed their first daughter, Harmony, in May of 2015. After announcing that Sparks was expecting in March of 2019, they had their second daughter Vibe that July. Though it remains unclear where Sparks and YG stand at this point, the rapper’s been flexing his relationship with Saweetie since May of this year. Fans speculated that their romance took Sparks by surprise, as she shared a mysterious message on social media shortly after they were spotted together in Mexico. “Just because we got the same blood don’t make us family & just because we got kids don’t make us family, cuz with ‘family’ like mine? I rather not have any,” she wrote.

As for his music, YG recently dropped off a new collaborative album alongside Tyga, Hit Me When U Leave The Klub: The Playlist. Mase Recalls Being Trapped By Bloods After The Notorious B.I.G.’s Death

Mase says that a crew of about 70 Bloods pinned him down in a hotel in Los Angeles following the killing of The Notorious B.I.G. During the latest episode of his sports talk show with Cam’ron, It Is What It Is, Mase recalled the scary incident. He began by joking that it sounded like a Keefe D topic.

“I was in a hotel, I was actually in a hotel with a young lady,” he began, before elaborating, “I was trapped in the hotel. It was about, probably like, 70 or so Bloods in the hallway. I couldn’t even leave my room. After Big got killed, they were probably looking for more Bad Boy artists. And I couldn’t even leave the room ’til Gene Deal [Diddy’s former bodyguard] had to come get me.”

Angus Cloud’s Mom Shares “Euphoria” Actor’s Final Words

Angus Cloud’s mom, Lisa, revealed the Euphoria actor’s final words during an interview with PEOPLE published on Monday. The update comes after his death was ruled an accidental overdose from “a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and more,” according to TMZ. Cloud was found dead in his family’s home in July.

“‘I love you, mama. You’re the best,’” Lisa recalled Cloud saying. “‘I’ll see you in the morning.’” Of the ruling on his death, she added: “It was predominantly the central nervous system depressants. It started to slow his heart and slow his breathing. He got tired from lack of oxygen. Everything just slowed down, and eventually his heart stopped and he went to sleep. But he didn’t kill himself.”

In the wake of his passing, tons of people Cloud has worked with over the years spoke out with tributes for the late actor. Euphoria star Zendaya remarked that Cloud was “like a little brother instantly; ironic because we played characters with the exact opposite dynamic. I’m lucky because I got to experience the most beautiful parts of him. I got to watch him create and I got to watch him discover the fact that he was an actor. A damn good one at that, and as many times as I would tell him or compliment his performance, I don’t think he ever truly believed it.”

In addition to his role as Fezco in Euphoria, Cloud also had small roles in North Hollywood (2021) and The Line (2023). Additionally, he appeared in music videos from Noah Cyrus, Juice Wrld, Becky G, and Karol G. Cloud was just 25 years old at the time of his death.

Recently, it was announced that Irish Grinstead of the beloved girl group 702 passed away at the age of 43. The performer’s sister and fellow 702 member, LeMisha Grinstead, shared the news in an Instagram post today. Her cause of death has yet to be confirmed. The Vegas trio are most well-known for their hits “Steelo” alongside Missy Elliot, “Where My Girls At?” and more.

LeMisha shared a lengthy post to reveal her passing, sharing some heartfelt words about her sister. “It is with great sadness that I have to let you know that my beautiful sister and friend has passed away this evening,” she began. “She has had a long battle and she is finally at peace. That girl was as bright as the stars! She was not only beautiful on the outside, but also within. Sharing the stage with her was a joy I will cherish for the rest of my life! We, the family ask for prayers and respect for our privacy as we grieve an outstanding loss to our family.”

Though her cause of death is unknown, the group announced that Irish would be taking a leave of absence due to “serious medical issues” in 2022. Amid the news, fans and peers have been out in full force to honor the fallen 702 member.
