Fredo Bang Explains How He Avoided Cooperating In YNW Melly Case

YNW Melly’s behind bars and prosecutors have tried to do everything to secure a conviction, including an attempt to get Fredo Bang to testify. Prosecutors asked the Baton Rouge rapper to make a statement but Bang invoked his Fifth Amendment right. This initially came to light during a VladTV interview with Mo Gangat. The attorney explained the loophole that Bang and his attorney used to avoid questioning.

Bang apparently invoked his attorney-client privilege but he had to fight to use it, Gangat explained. The famed attorney said Bang told prosecutors that he would have to disclose advice from his lawyer during questioning. Though prosecutors offered him immunity, Bang’s lawyer told the judge that this wouldn’t apply outside of Miramar. Ultimately, the judge ruled in Bang’s favor to use his Fifth Amendment right.

Fredo Bang didn’t dive into detail during his recent VladTV interview. However, he provided a bit of context to Gangat’s analysis. He said he needed his lawyer to “defuse the situation,” even if he didn’t understand how he got roped into the investigation.

“I had to get my lawyer and defuse whatever they thinking or something,” he said. Still, Fredo Bang feels as though he might continue to face pressure from authorities in the future. He explained that he anticipates it won’t end until Melly’s case ends.

“They probably going to keep bothering me because, at the end of the day, it’s still active. It’s still in trial, so they want to push and squeeze anybody they can who they think got something going on or think could be involved to where they can get some information,” he continued. “Being that we friends, I expect them to bother me.”

Authorities charged YNW Melly and his co-defendant YNW Bortlen with two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of Christopher “Juvy” Thomas Jr. and Anthony “Sak” Williams.

We’ll keep you posted on any more updates surrounding the case.

T.I. Says Young Thug “Expresses Gratitude” More Than His Own Artists

The “Free Thug” movement hasn’t ceased since Young Thug was arrested with dozens of others on RICO charges. The hitmaker has remained incarcerated as eight others have accepted plea deals, including Gunna. Thugger and 13 other co-defendants hope for freedom after fighting their case in court. On the outside, the rapper’s celebrity peers have continued to rally for his release. While on Drink Champs, longtime friend T.I. advocated for Young Thug.

“He kinda consider—he like, ‘Yo bro, you were the first major artist to rock with me, to believe in me,’” said T.I. “That was a major look for him. At least, according to him. And, you know, he just always express his gratitude and that’s more than I received from a lot of my own artists that’s on my label that I had a hand in they career, for real.”

“And, he just…he a real good dude, bro. I don’t think—everything that’s goin’ around, I think it’s a test,” T.I. further said. “It’s a test, and it’s gon’ become his testimony. All he gotta do is continue to stand tall and stay solid, and I believe God gon’ work everything out.”

T.I. shared similar sentiments about Young Thug during his recent appearance on Club Shay Shay. The Rap mogul spoke kindly about Thug to Shannon Sharpe, even revealing that he passed on giving the rapper and 21 Savage money in the early stages of their careers. According to T.I., it wouldn’t have benefited them the way they believed, but now, both artists expressed gratitude for giving them wisdom instead of shelling out money.

“Because if I give you a million, I gotta take back some that’s gon’ be way more, and we ain’t gon’ be able to be friends no more,” he said at the time. “And I always tell them, don’t worry about the money up front ’cause it gon’ come. I remember telling that to Slime, I remember telling that to 21. And even Savage, anytime he see me now, ‘Hey, it came.’” Check out the clip of T.I. on Drink Champs above and stay tuned as the full episode drops later this week.

Detroit police said they’re investigating the disappearance of three rappers who’ve been missing for 10 days. Per CNN, police identified Armani Kelly, 28, Dante Wicker, 31, and Montoya Givens, 31 as the missing individuals. Police said the three men went missing after a scheduled performance was canceled. Michael McGinnis, commander of major crimes of the Detroit Police, said promoters canceled the Jan 21st show. However, friends and family grew concerned after not hearing from them since.

“It’s our understanding that the performance got canceled, and from there – we just have a whole lot of unanswered questions that we are trying to find out,” McGinnis said. He confirmed that they “stopped having activity” the following morning on Jan. 22nd. McGinnis explained that the investigation began with Kelly’s mom who became extremely active in the case. Marilyn Manson Sued For Allegedly Sexually Assaulting Minor In 1990s: Report

A woman only known as Jane Doe claims Marilyn Manson “groomed and sexually assaulted” her several times in the 1990s. Rolling Stone reported on the allegations that were listed in Doe’s lawsuit against the shock rocker. This is the latest controversy plaguing Manson, as he has been accused of rape, abuse, and assault for years.

This is reportedly the first sexual assault lawsuit from the early days of Manson’s fame. Doe, who also names Nothing Records and Interscope in her suit, says she met the singer in 1995 when she was 16. She was with her friends when she claims she waited to meet Manson outside his tour bus.

The woman alleges Manson invited her “and one of the other younger girls” onto the bus and exchanged information.

“While on the tour bus, Defendant Warner performed various acts of criminal sexual conduct upon Plaintiff, who was a virgin at the time, including but not limited to forced copulation and vaginal penetration,” the lawsuit claims.

“One of the band members watched Defendant Warner sexually assault Plaintiff,” the suit adds. “Plaintiff was in pain, scared, upset, humiliated and confused. After he was done, Defendant Warner laughed at her. … Then Defendant Warner demanded Plaintiff to ‘get the f*ck off of my bus’ and threatened Plaintiff that, if she told anyone, he would kill her and her family.”

The accuser asserts she “began using drugs and alcohol shortly after,” continuing on for years. She also maintained a relationship with Manson, who she says asked “for explicit photos of her and her friends.”

It was also alleged that Manson’s record labels were well aware of his alleged behaviors. Manson issued a statement to Rolling Stone via his attorney, Howard King.

He claims the singer “does not know this individual and has no recollection of ever having met her 28 years ago. He certainly was never intimate with her.”

King further called Doe’s story a “fabricated tale,“ adding, “even the most minimal amount of scrutiny reveals the obvious discrepancies in her ever-shifting stories as well as her extensive collusion with other false accusers … Brian will not submit to this shakedown – and the courts won’t fall for it either.”

R. Kelly’s Rep Responds After Prosecutor Drops Sex Abuse Charges

R Kelly isn’t relieved, despite prosecutors dropping sex abuse charges.

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx said she wants to dismiss sex abuse charges against R Kelly, though this news isn’t necessarily a relief to the embattled singer.

Per TMZ, the singer’s rep, Jennifer Bonjean, said she spoke to him following Foxx’s decision. Though she praised the State’s Attorney’s move, she said Kelly continues to face the reality of remaining behind bars for the rest of his life.

Foxx revealed that her decision to reel back from pursuing these charges against Kelly were due to numerous factors, including the cost. Additionally, she said that the federal court already convicted him on two similar counts. “[R. Kelly] is looking at the possibility of never walking out of prison again,” she said. “We believe justice has been served,” she added.

Though the sex abuse charges aren’t necessarily weighing on Kelly’s shoulders, there’s still a good chance he won’t be free anytime soon. “There is no real sense of relief. He is still fighting for his life. He is facing decades in prison,” Bonjean said, adding that Foxx made “the right move” to drop the charges.

Prosecutors accused Kelly of sexually abusing four people, three of which were minors at the time.

During his New York trial, a judge sentenced Kelly to 30 years behind bars. However, his sentencing in Illinois takes place in February and could lead to an additional 10 to 90 years behind bars. Sexual abuse charges or not, Kelly won’t be coming home anytime soon.

Ashton Kutcher Hopes Danny Masterson “Is Found Innocent” Of Rape

Watching his longtime friend and colleague embattle sexual assault accusation hasn’t been easy for Ashton Kutcher. However, there is a select group who don’t sympathize with Danny Masterson as he faces several allegations of rape. The accusations surfaced in 2017 when Kutcher and Masterson were starring in The Ranch. The That 70’s Show stars reunited for the Netflix series, but the allegations caused the production to part ways with Masterson.

In a cover feature for Esquire, Kutcher told the outlet that he wants his friend “to be found innocent of the charges brought against him.”

It was clarified that this didn’t mean Kutcher was keen on Masterson getting away with a crime he may have committed.

“Ultimately, I can’t know. I’m not the judge.” The actor added, “I’m not the jury, I’m not the DA, I’m not the victim. And I’m not the accused. And so, in that case, I don’t have a space to comment. I just don’t know.”

Kutcher does, however, feel for Masterson’s child.

“Someday, his kid is going to read about this,” he added. “I wholesale feel for anybody who feels like they were violated in any way.”

The actor founded Thorn alongside Demi Moore—a non-profit centering on helping victims of sex trafficking and abuse. Some have pushed back on Kutcher’s remarks about Masterson, while others understand his position.

Last year, Masterson’s trial was determined to be a mistrial after jurors disagreed on the outcome of multiple charges.

Rich Dollaz Defends Daughter, Says She Shot Ex Because She Was Scared

After his daughter was arrested for shooting the father of her child, Rich Dollaz came to her defense. We previously reported that Ashley Trowers was taken into custody after her ex, Demiah Tatum, and another man showed up at her job. Trowers is said to have a restraining order against Tatum and was allegedly fearful of what could happen.

“There was a domestic incident recently, and my daughter was forced to go to the authorities and file for a restraining order,” Rich told TMZ. “Obviously, anyone who knows anything about a restraining order, you’re not allowed to be in the presence of the other person.”

“So, with that being said, he had no business pulling up to her job, number one,” he also stated. “Number two, he had no business getting out of his car and approaching her car.”

TMZ asked what it was that made Trowers so scared that she fired her weapon.

“Well, because he was approaching her vehicle,” Rich answered. “They have already been—this isn’t just a one-time incident. This is things that have led up to this. Him sending text messages, him sending things to her, him showing his gun, him doing things that would put her in fear.”

The Love & Hip Hop star also suggested that Tatum cut up Trowers’s clothing.

Rich further stated they still don’t know how Tatum found out where Trowers worked. It was her first day at a new job when the incident occurred. Some suggested that Tatum “just happened to pull up,” but Rich isn’t convinced it was that simple.

XXXTENTACION Murder Trial To Begin This Week

Trial for the murder of XXXTENTACION is set to begin later this week, five years after the 2018 armed robbery that took his life. Furthermore, jury selection for the trial hasn’t finished, but NBC6 reported that trial will begin this week. Moreover, codefendants Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Devonshay Williams and Trayvon Newsome will stand trial.

However, a fourth codefendant Robert Allen pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges in August of 2022. While he still faces a sentence, he’s expected to testify against the three colleagues to lighten it.

“[Allen] pleaded guilty to a lesser included offense of second-degree murder and robbery with a firearm,” said his attorney Jim Lewis. “He still faces a life sentence. Obviously, we are hoping for better than that. But his sentence is deferred and it is likely he will be called as a witness in the case against the other three co-defendants.”

Moreover, he said that “Mr. Allen’s role was much less than the other three involved. It was always kind of contemplated that the State was looking to use him as a witness in the case.”

Still, if convicted, all three codefendants face life behind bars. However, authorities believe that Boatwright fatally shot the “Moonlight” rapper in the Florida armed robbery. Afterwards, they escaped with $50,000 in a Louis Vuitton bag, which belonged to X.

Soon after the incident, officials arrested all four men and charged them with first-degree murder and armed robbery. When trial began taking shape, authorities named Drake, 6ix9ine, Joe Budden, and Quavo as potential witnesses in the Broward County trial.

Meanwhile, many fans believe that the 6 God is more involved than one might expect. For example, they had a brief clash after X accused Drake of biting his hi “Look At Me!” on his track “KMT.” Later, X wrote ” “If anyone tries to kill me it was [Drake]” on his story before claiming someone hacked him. While no evidence presented links Drake to the crime, lawyers believe him and other hip-hop figures could help this case.

Still, even the Canadian artist’s own music led fans to believe he had something to do with X’s death. Moreover, the song “Mob Ties” caught the eyes of many for apparent allusions to the incident. “Louis bags in exchange for body bags,” he raps on the song.

However, what do you think of XXXTENTACION’s murder trial set to begin later this week? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for the latest updates on this story.

R. Kelly Cases: Chicago Prosecutor Drops Sex Abuse Charges In State Case

A Chicago prosecutor dropped charges of sexual abuse against R. Kelly. According to multiple reports, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx said cost was a factor in dropping the ten charges. Moreover, she told reporters that these charges are unnecessary to pursue in the face of his current predicament.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – JUNE 26: R&B singer R. Kelly leaves the Leighton Criminal Courts Building following a hearing on June 26, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois. Prosecutors turned over to Kelly’s defense team a DVD that alleges to show Kelly having sex with an underage girl in the 1990s. Kelly has been charged with multiple sex crimes involving four women, three of whom were underage at the time of the alleged encounters.

Furthermore, she stated that her office believes “justice has been served against Kelly with those two convictions. Mr. Kelly is looking at the possibility of never walking out of prison again.” To continue, authorities scheduled the R&B singer to appear in court on Tuesday to drop the charges. Moreover, he faced charges of sexually abusing four people, of which three were minors.

However, this state case dates back to 2019, when Foxx said the incidents occurred between May of 1998 and January of 2010. Also, the 56-year-old faced three to seven years in prison for each charge.

Meanwhile, Foxx revealed that she consulted her decision to drop the charges with the women involved in the indictment. While she believes it might come off as a disappointment to some, she hoped they can understand many factors were at play.

“I know firsthand how difficult it is for you to tell your stories,” she expressed. “Four years ago, I stood at this podium and shared my story of having been a survivor and my full understanding of what it means to have to go before strangers to discuss what is arguably one of the most horrific experiences one could have. And these women, all of them Black, came forward, believing that they would be heard.”

Overall, Kelly’s currently serving a 30-year sentence after a New York conviction for racketeering and sex trafficking. In addition, authorities will sentence him in another federal case in Chicago later this month. What’s more is that this news follows the recent release of Surviving R. Kelly’s final installment.

Still, what do you think of the news that a Chicago prosecutor dropped her office’s charges against R. Kelly? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for the latest on this case.

Donald Trump & Stormy Daniels: Manhattan DA Launches Grand Jury Probe Regarding Hush Money

As he gears up for this third-ever presidential run, Donald Trump is facing no shortage of legal woes. Over the past few years, the reality TV star has been caught up in scandal after scandal. From classified documents being found at his Mar-a-Lago residence to his past friendship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, the drama never ends.

On Monday (January 30), a report from the New York Times broke the news that things for the politician are looking bleaker. Prosecutors from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office are presenting evidence to a recently put-together jury.

The investigation is regarding the “hush money” that Trump previously gave to adult film star Stormy Daniels. Several years ago, the 76-year-old wanted his former lover to keep quiet about their extramarital affairs prior to the 2016 election.

According to today’s breaking news, a witness who helped arrange the controversial monetary agreement was seen in New York today. The building he entered is the same one that the grand jury has been meeting in.

Additionally, Trump’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, sat with prosecutors in recent weeks. As The Independent notes, the attorney was previously personally responsible for delivering Daniels her payments. He was later indicted on federal charges affiliated with the scheme.

Cohen plead guilty and spent time in federal prison. However, he was later released to home confinement as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I participated in this conduct, which on my part took place in Manhattan, for the principal purpose of influencing the election” for president in 2016,” Trump’s co-conspirator said at the time.

The city’s DA, Alvin Bragg, is presently laying the groundwork to seek an indictment for Trump. A decision regarding the twice-impeached public figure’s future is said to be coming “soon.”

Potential criminal charges will likely depend on whether the father of five falsified business records to disguise payments to Cohen as compensation for services.

Elsewhere, Trump’s name has been coming up a lot in connection with Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal. The New Yorker has been openly mocking his fellow politician on his Truth social platform, despite having committed the same troubling acts himself.
