His comments come after Foxx finally spoke out on his situation for the first time. He also shut down rumors about his health: “By being quiet, sometimes things get out of hand. … Some people said I was blind, but as you can see the eyes are working, the eyes are working just fine. Said I was paralyzed, I’m not paralyzed, but I did go through – I went to hell and back.”

Ice-T Shuts Down Conspiracies

Foxx was first admitted to the hospital in April 2023. His daughter, Corinne, provided most of the updates throughout his time undergoing treatment, although the lack of details sparked rumors from fans.

Gunna Blasts Trolls For Claiming He Used A Clone In “FukUMean” Video

Gunna released his latest song “FukUMean” this week, featuring a pink-filtered, hard-partying music video. It’s the second single he has released from A Gift & A Curse, his June album that peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200. “FukUMean” is doing fairly well, debuting at #16 and rising to #12 this week on the Billboard 100. The other single he released from the album, “Bread & Butter”, peaked at #48. “FukUMean” is Gunna’s first top-20 single since “Too Easy” Ft. Future in 2021. Furthermore, it’s his best charting single since “Lemonade” with Internet Money and Don Toliver ft. Nav hit #6 in 2020.

The song follows a common theme for Gunna’s recent work – flexing on his haters with his lavish lifestyle. Obviously, the rapper is still trying to work back from fairly serious snitching allegations relating to Young Thug. However, while people are obviously appreciating the track, there is another aspect of the release that has stirred up discourse.

Gunna Responds To Claims Of Using A “Clone”

A fairly dramatic physical transformation for Gunna has led some social media users to argue that the person featured in the video was not actually Gunna. The leading theory amongst these conspiracists is that Gunna was replaced, or actively used, a “clone” for the video. Clone conspiracies can actually get pretty nasty, as they typically tie into notions of anti-semitism and the “new world order”. For example, many people argued Damar Hamlin actually died after collapsing during an NFL game earlier this year. However, he was replaced by a “clone” so that the “New World Order” could “hide” evidence that the COVID-19 vaccine was dangerous.

Gunna himself took to social media to respond to some of the claims. The rapper quote-tweeted one claim that it wasn’t him in the video. Gunna crossed out the “Fuku” part of “Fukumean” so that his response just read “mean” instead. Many other people came to the defense of the rapper, arguing that a little bit of weight loss did not make someone a “clone”. As far as conspiracy theories go, it’s fairly harmless. However, Gunna has made it quite obvious that he doesn’t find it funny.

R. Kelly Theororized About Jay-Z Trying To Kill Him While In Jail, Former Cellmate Claims

Though he’s still seen as one of the most influential artists to touch R&B by many lovers of the genre, it’s hard to deny the disappointment of R. Kelly’s downfall. It’s been an especially rough few years for the vocalist. He’s set to remain behind bars for the near future due to his heinous crimes against Black girls and women. We haven’t heard much from the embattled star directly. However, on Friday (June 9), his former cellmate, Ronnie Bo, spoke with Hip-Hop News Uncensored about what his time locked up with Kelly was like.

According to Bo, the “I Believe I Can Fly” hitmaker had a few theories about one past collaborator. Specifically, he believe that Jay-Z may have been involved in a murder conspiracy. “He felt like JAY-Z was kind of insecure because, at the time, R. Kelly was technically bigger than him,” Kelly’s cellmate told the outlet. “He felt like [during] one of the shows when they was in Madison Square Garden [in 2004] prior to that event, he said days before the event that he was getting death threats that he felt was coming from JAY-Z.” At the time, both artists were touring together. They had just dropped The Best of Both Worlds in 2002, and Unfinished Business two years later.

Ronnie Bo Dishes on R. Kelly in New Interview

“I don’t know if this is going to sound outrageous… He felt like JAY-Z was trying to get him killed for whatever reason,” Ronnie added. During their joint tour, the convicted sex offender left the stage during a Madison Square Garden show as he believed men were pointing guns at him. On his way back out, he was infamously pepper-sprayed by Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith, a close friend of Hov’s. This ultimately resulted in the end of his and Kelly’s complicated working relationship.

Elsewhere in the news, it was reported earlier this month that Jay-Z’s former New York apartment has been listed for sale for $1.4 million. It’s obviously got nothing on the $200M home he and Beyonce just purchased in California, but still, it’s a significant piece of hip-hop history and the Roc Nation head’s come-up in the industry. Read more about the listing at the link below, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Pras Denies Being FBI Informant, Chuck D Defends Him

The conspiracy case of Pras, which recently resulted in a guilty verdict, is one of the wildest stories of the year so far. However, some figures in the rap game and beyond are sticking up for the Fugees MC and calling out wider systemic issues. Chuck D recently took to Twitter to stand up for his past accomplishments as he maintains his complete innocence despite the verdict. “Pras was never an FBI informant,” his publicist Erica Dumas told AllHipHop on Thursday (April 27). “It’s not accurate and, quite frankly, it’s dangerous. If he was an informant, he would not be on trial. The government does not prosecute and threaten its informants with more than two decades of jail time.”

After news spread like wildfire labeling the 50-year-old as an FBI informant, the Public Enemy legend pointed out some inconsistencies in reporting. “Pras was a valedictorian in HighSchool or in the final runnings,” he tweeted. “They NEVER mention THAT. Instead USA propAgenda machine ALWAYS promotes this backwoods Jed ass Clampett tale of Hood gangstaS, which NEVER been a threat ANYWHERE other than Blackfolk. Wrong is wrong but this SMELLS.

Chuck D Defends Pras

“The narrative is calling him everything in the book and never mentioning it. That’s it,” Chuck D added in a later tweet. “But the deeper you go into any of this Russell you discover a fraternity ALL pssing in the same urinal holding each others johnson.” Along that same line, Pras’ attorney David Kenner told reporters that the conspiracy trial’s outcome was a let-down. “We are extremely disappointed in that result but are very, very confident in the ultimate outcome of this case,” he stated. “If we do move to a sentencing hearing I remain very confident we will certainly appeal this case. This is not over.”

Meanwhile, other rap legends haven’t taken as kindly to this news. For example, 50 Cent roasted the “Zealots” rapper online for being a snitch. While the term “FBI informant” is admittedly misleading, he did confess to collaborating with the agency. As such, it seems like this case’s verdict won’t make it any less murky. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Pras and Chuck D.

Dwayne Haskins’ Widow Files Shocking Lawsuit

Dwayne Haskins’ tragically passed away one year ago today at the age of 24. Haskins was killed when he was struck by a dump truck while attempting to cross I-595 in Florida. He had been in Florida as part of a bonding trip with his new Pittsburgh teammates. His death was met with an outpouring of love for the quarterback. However, it also led to several uncomfortable moments from the national media.

An investigation into his death ruled that Haskins had high levels of alcohol and ketamine in his system. According to his widow, Haskins had been looking for gas for his rental car at the time of his death. For many, the incident appeared to be a tragic accident that befell a young and promising football player. However, a new lawsuit filed by Haskins widow appears to tell a different, and disturbing story.

Haskins Allegedly Blackmail And Robbery Victim

According to a lawsuit filed in Broward County last month by his widow, Kalabrya, there is a previously untold element to Haskins’ death. The lawsuit lists four individuals, two restaurants, a driving range, and a hotel as defendants in what it alleges was a conspiracy against Haskins. More specifically, the lawsuit alleges that Haskins was the victim of a blackmail and robbery conspiracy. The suit alleges that a group of four individuals drugged and robbed Haskins in the hours prior to his death. Furthermore, attorney Rick Ellsley has questioned the role of the dump truck that struck and killed Haskins. According to Ellsley, the driver did not attempt to avoid Haskins while driving dangerously in a vehicle over the legal weight limit.

The claims are shocking, to say the least. If true, they paint a twisted picture of Haskins’ final hours, where he was drugged, robbed, and left in a vulnerable position. It would completely change the narrative, which currently portrays Haskins as an intoxicated individual killed in an unfortunate accident. Kalabrya Haskins is reportedly seeking a jury trial and unspecified damages. TMZ also reports that a rental car company and the Florida Department of Transportation have also been named as defendants in the suit. However, it may be some time before more developments in this shocking story are made public.

Leonardo DiCaprio Testifies Against Pras Michel

In one of the strangest media crossover events so far this year, Leonardo DiCaprio testified against Pras Michel in the latter’s ongoing conspiracy trial. Moreover, the former Fugees member stands accused of collaborating with Malaysian businessman Jho Low to illegally finance Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign, embezzle billions from the Malaysian government, and more. During his testimony, the silver screen star went over his relationship with Low in interesting detail. While Pras pleaded not guilty to all charges against him, Leo is not criminally involved in this case.

Instead, prosecutors likely used him as an example of Low coercing influential people in the States and seeking favor with them for his own personal gain. Before anyone starts speculating, DiCaprio’s testimony does not incriminate him or his collaborators in any way. In the hour-long testimony, the Inception actor said he became friends with Low upon meeting at a birthday party in 2010. Two years later, Low allegedly told him about his plan to donate between $20 million and $30 million to the Democratic Party throughout the 2012 presidential election.

Leonardo DiCaprio & Pras Michel On Opposite Sides Of Courtroom

Not only that, but prosecutors maintain that Low used a film production company called Red Granite Pictures to launder his embezzled money. Furthermore, this relates to Leo because, apparently, they offered to finance his flick The Wolf Of Wall Street. Before accepting, the actor’s legal team and third party collaborators ran financial background checks on the production company. Surprisingly (and clearly incorrectly), everything seemed normal. What’s more is that the 48-year-old even thanked Low during his Golden Globes acceptance speech for Best Actor for his role in the film.

Meanwhile, Leo said that he met Pras once or twice. The first time was during a Fugees concert in the ’90s, whereas he hazily remembered interacting with him on another occasion at DiCaprio’s house for Thanksgiving dinner. Funnily enough, the actor recently hung out with Q-Tip courtside at a basketball game, so his hip-hop roots run deep. Regardless, the rapper stands accused of making illegal campaign contributions with Low in 2012, failing to register as an agent of China’s government, and witness tampering. With all that in mind, log back into HNHH for the latest on Leonardo DiCaprio and Pras Michel.

Pras Michel Conspiracy Trial Begins

The trial involving Pras Michel began on Monday (March 27) in Washington D.C., more specifically its jury selection. Moreover, according to an NPR report, the Fugees member faces various charges such conspiracy, witness tampering, and failing to register as an agent of China. For those unaware, an investigation into potential embezzlement of millions to help Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign found Pras at the center around December of 2018. Since then, he faced other legal woes for failing to pay child support, but a broader federal case is now underway.

Furthermore, his legal troubles actually caused the cancellation of the Fugees’ reunion tour back in August of 2022. To elaborate on the charges, apparently the New Jersey native schemed to reimburse attendees of an Obama campaign fundraiser for $40,000 using foreign investment for ticket costs. In addition, authorities accused him of threatening those who would report such a plot to officials. Not only that, but he also allegedly helped Malaysian billionaire Jho Low through a secret lobbying campaign. This was to pressure U.S. justice and White House officials into dismissing the existing fraud scheme.

Also, the court accused him of aiding the Chinese government “secure the return” of a dissident residing in the States and developing close ties to Steve Bannon and the Trump administration. Since Low is reportedly living in China as a fugitive, the 50-year-old MC faces these charges alone. According to his legal team, Pras acted in good faith and in the interests of the U.S. when meeting with a Chinese minister in 2017. While federal authorities reportedly offered Pras a plea deal, he then rejected it and went on to plead not guilty to these crimes.

“Defendant continues to deny he was acting as an agent for China and denies he willfully and knowingly acted as a secret agent under the direction and control of China when he approached the FBI,” defense lawyers stated this month in court documents. Meanwhile, if convicted on all charges, Michel could land in prison for 22 years. For the latest updates on Pras and his legal case, check back in with HNHH.
