Wendy Williams Reportedly Opened A Secret Bank Account After Hers Were Frozen

News about former daytime TV mainstay Wendy Williams has been hard to come by recently. Now according to The Jasmine Brand Williams is trying to reclaim her fortune by opening a secret bank account. “a source close to Wendy Williams, 59, says the media personality has secretly opened up a new bank account to redirect any money she earns moving forward away from Wells Fargo.” Her bank accounts were reportedly frozen at some point last year due to “alleged financial struggles.”

They go on to explain how Wendy Williams found herself in the situation of needing a secret bank account. “Williams’ financial adviser told Wells Fargo she was of “unsound mind,” resulting in the entertainer getting placed under guardianship. The insider also noted that Williams doesn’t know how to use the new bank account.” The Insider also elaborated on the difficulties she’s had putting money into the new account. “but she doesn’t know her account number and refuses to accept checks. It’s a mess!”

Wendy Williams Has A Secret Bank Account

Last year, Williams attorney explained how Wells Fargo was able to seize control of her bank account. “Basically, what Wells Fargo is using is a rule that was promulgated by an organization called FINRA and under that rule, it grants Wells Fargo the right to suspend a transaction in the event they deem that the transaction is of suspicious nature.”

Back in June, Williams son claimed that he feared for her life and wasn’t getting accurate information on her condition. Following that public declaration her manager fired back at her son refuting some of his claims. When Williams was put into a conservatorship last year and lost access to her bank accounts, much of the support her son had been receiving dried up. Updates on Williams from both parties have been far less frequent in the past few months. What do you think about Wendy Williams having to open up a secret bank account that she doesn’t know how to use? Let us know in the comment section below.

Tuohy Family Claims Michael Oher Demanded $15 Million From Them Before Filing Lawsuit

The Tuohy family, best known for adopting future NFL star Michael Oher in a heart-warming story that would later become the massively successful biopic The Blind Side are back in the news for all the wrong reasons. Oher, who played nearly a decade in the NFL, has alleged financial abuse on the part of the Tuohys. According to a lawsuit filed by Oher in Tennessee, the family never adopted him. Instead, he claims he was tricked into signing a conservatorship three months after he turned 18. The lawsuit further alleges that Oher has never seen any of the profits from the work that his life story became. This is due to the conservatorship granting the Tuohy family full financial control of him.

Additionally, Oher claims that the Tuohys used fictionalized reports of intellectual disability on Oher’s part to justify their conservatorship. This is despite first meeting Oher while he was attending an elite Memphis private school. Oher is seeking an end to the conservatorship. He alleges that the agreement was pitched to him as being “basically the same as an adoption.” Furthermore, he is seeking well as financial restitution and an injunction to stop the Tuohy family profiting from his name and likeness. The Tuohy family have since made some bombshell claims of their own in retaliation.

Tuohys Claim “Shakedown” On The Part Of Oher

In a statement issued by family attorney Martin Singer, the Tuohys have claimed that the lawsuit comes after a “shakedown” on the part of Oher. “In reality, the Tuohys opened their home to Mr. Oher, offered him structure, support and, most of all, unconditional love,” Singer’s statement said. “They have consistently treated him like a son and one of their three children. His response was to threaten them, including saying that he would plant a negative story about them in the press unless they paid him $15 million.”

“They insisted that any money received be divided equally. And they have made good on that pledge,” the statement continued. “The evidence — documented in profit participation checks and studio accounting statements — is clear: over the years. The Tuohys have given Mr. Oher an equal cut of every penny received from The Blind Side. Even recently, when Mr. Oher started to threaten them about what he would do unless they paid him an eight-figure windfall, and, as part of that shakedown effort refused to cash the small profit checks from the Tuohys, they still deposited Mr. Oher’s equal share into a trust account they set up for his son.” It is worth noting that if Oher’s claims are true, the conservatorship would prevent him from freely accessing that account. This is a developing story.

Britney Spears’ Mom Wants Her To “Make Amends” With Jamie Lynn

To say that Britney Spears’ relationship with her family in recent years has been turbulent would be an understatement. Despite all the difficulties, the families matriarch wants Britney to make nice with her sibling. According to Page Six, Spears’ mother Lynne is “begging Britney to make amends with her sister Jamie Lynn.” The report also states that the pair are “leaning toward a yes. Lynne knows that Britney does miss her sister, and she told her that the feeling is obviously mutual.”

Reports are conflicting in regard to the speed with which Lynne is trying to reunite the sisters. One insider claims that she is ““not going to rest until everything is perfect again.” Another claims that “Lynne knows that it still will take time to get back on the same page and fall into all the right places their relationship needs to be.” Regardless, all the insiders agree that nothing will happen without an apology from Jamie Lynn to her sister Britney.

Britney Spears has often been subject to second-hand rumors and reports. Her ex-husband Kevin Federline made a statement denouncing those that reported a recent story of Spears’ drug use. This attempt at reconciliation with her sister comes just a month after Britney and her mother patched things up. Fans were mixed in their responses to that news following the years-long, controversy-laden #FreeBritney movement which made fans deeply distrustful of Lynne.

While Lynne was not the movement’s primary target, she became one of many villains of the #FreeBritney protests. The movement gained international recognition following reports of the allegedly abusive conservatorship Britney Spears had been placed under by her family for years. She was finally free from the conservatorship in November of 2021. What do you think about the newest reports surrounding Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears? Let us know in the comments below.

Britney Spears Reunites With Mother For First Time Since Conservatorship

In November 2021, Britney Spears’ conservatorship was terminated. However, the strained relationships she has with her family members continue to exist. Her mother, Lynne Spears, publicly expressed her apologies to her daughter last October. At the time, Lynne Spears commented on Britney’s Instagram post, expressing deep remorse and acknowledging her daughter’s pain. The post was about how Britney wished for her family to take responsibility for the ways they have hurt Britney over the years. It was one of many that Britney has posted about the conservatorship.

Lynne professed her love for Britney, expressed how much she missed her, and requested to be unblocked. That way, they could have an in-person conversation. She apologized for any and all actions that have caused Britney harm. Britney wasn’t having it. At that time, the pop icon responded with harsh words, including telling Lynne to “go f*ck yourself.” However, it seems that Britney may now be more open to repairing their relationship.

According to TMZ, on Wednesday night, Britney and Lynne spent time together in person for the first time in years. Lynne flew to Los Angeles, and Britney welcomed her into her home. They had a conversation for approximately 30 minutes, with the singer’s husband, Sam Asghari, also present. It was also reported that Britney didn’t know the exact timing of Lynne’s visit, but she was aware that her mother was in town to see her.

Alleged sources revealed that the wall between mother and daughter seems to be thinning, as they have been exchanging text messages recently. At the very least, Lynne felt confident enough to travel from Louisiana to Los Angeles to meet Britney. The sources also shared with TMZ that Lynne is committed to reconciling with her daughter. Britney recently referred to TMZ as “the trashiest news channel,” so it is likely that she won’t be pleased with this report. Stay tuned to HNHH for all the latest updates. Britney Spears Has A Concerning “Fascination With Knives” Sources Say

Britney Spears has an alleged “fascination with knives,” according to sources who shared the concerning information with TMZ. The sources believe that the fascination stems from Spears’ feeling the need to have a “means of protection.” Claiming to have “direct knowledge,” sources also share that Spears has a “constant fear of being institutionalized,” based on her previous struggles with mental health. The pop icon battled with substance abuse issues leading up to her 2008 conservatorship, which sparked a public uproar. Her conservatorship ended finally after a long legal battle in November of 2021.

Sources spoke to TMZ for the outlet’s upcoming documentary on Spears’ life in the months following the end of her conservatorship. TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom” is set to air May 15 on FOX. The documentary is said to touch on topics pertaining to her relationships with her children, a failed intervention, her marriage to model Sam Asghari, and more. The trailer for the special gives fans a preview of what to expect, with Managing Editor of TMZ Fabian Garcia claiming that she “got physical with Sam.”

Britney Is Free

The documentary also portrays the widespread push to end the star’s conservatorship, known as the #FreeBritney movement. In the year and a half that has passed since her conservatorship ended, the pop icon married Asghari. Spears also shared the tragic news of a miscarriage she had shortly after the 2022 wedding to Asghari. The singer has sparked additional concern from fans due to various strange posts on social media.

Spears is also currently working on an autobiography, which is said to contain information that could create legal liability. The announcement of the upcoming book has sparked rumors of potential legal threats Spears may be facing. Since the end of her conservatorship, Spears has shared various candid posts about friends and family members. She has made several serious allegations towards various family members and people on her team. These allegations include being drugged, forced to work under poor conditions, and more. Various other stars have come to the defense of Britney’s freedom, including Iggy Azalea, Doja Cat, and more.

Amanda Bynes Update: Conservatorship Won’t Be Reinstated Amid Psychotic Episode, Parents Say

After shocking the world with yesterday’s news, TMZ‘s sources are back with an update on Amanda Bynes. On Sunday (March 20), the former child star was found wandering around Los Angeles completely nude, reportedly coming down from a psychotic break. During her time out in the city, she apparently flagged down a car passing by, sharing her tragic story with the driver. After calling 911, the actress went to a nearby police station. A mental health team felt that a 5150 psychiatric hold is the best course of action in this situation.

Typically, someone on a 5150 would be in custody for 72 hours, though the timeline can be extended. As of yesterday, insiders confirmed that Bynes will likely spend a few days getting the help she needs for her struggles. Up until just last year, the 36-year-old was actually under a conservatorship, similar to Britney Spears, though she and her family felt as though she had made enough progress to regain control of her life in 2022.

Upon hearing the latest headlines about Bynes, concerned fans are wondering if her parents, Lynn and Rick, will be reinstating the previous court agreement. According to a source with direct knowledge who spoke with TMZ, there are no such plans at this time. The starlet’s parents are “deeply concerned about their daughter’s well-being and health,” but don’t want to take extreme measures just yet. From the sounds of things, her willingness to contact authorities on her own after coming back to herself naked in downtown Los Angeles proves that she’s self-aware enough to maintain her freedom for now.

Since her conservatorship came to an end, Amanda Bynes has mostly been taking positive steps forward in her life. She’s been living independently in her own home and has even been pursuing a new career as a cosmetologist by taking classes at a school in her area. Fingers crossed we see the Californian back on her feet and in control of her life in no time. Make sure to check back later for more pop culture news updates.

The Britney Spears Conservatorship Fiasco Is About To Become A Juicy Netflix Documentary

Britney Spears has had it rough for a while, but recently things have been on the up-and-up. She recently got engaged. What’s more, the long battle over her conservatorship, which saw her father, Jamie, still in control over much of her life and her fortune, appears to be coming to an end. It’s the latter that will be the focus of a new Netflix documentary.

It’s called Britney Vs. Spears, and it will be the second high-profile doc about the pop star’s life, following Hulu’s Framing Britney Spears. That one, released earlier this year, chronicled her rise to stardom, her oft-negative treatment by the media, her highly publicized breakdown, and, finally, her conservatorship.

Britney Vs. Spears will delve deep into that last thing, exploring how her father spent 13 years overseeing her wealth and career and shielding her from media appearances, and how Britney ended up being so tightly controlled she reportedly had to ask to borrow other people’s phones to make calls.

Jamie Spears recently offered to end his conservatorship following a long and very public battle, in which his daughter repeatedly petitioned to have a judge give it the axe. Shortly after that happened, Britney became engaged to her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari.

Britney Vs. Spears will be directed by Erin Lee Carr, award-winning documentarian, who has often focused on true crime stories, as in Netflix’s How to Fix a Drug Scandal and HBO’s I Love You, Now Die: The Commonwealth vs. Michelle Carter. She is also the daughter of the late New York Times journalist David Carr.
