Britney Spears’ Father, Ex-Husband Not Concerned About Upcoming Memoir

After an incredibly tumultuous time in the public eye recently, Britney Spears has a new memoir coming out later this month. Not much is known about the content of the book but messages she’s shared to social media may have given some indication. She’s repeatedly made veiled statements about people close to her that have wronged her. She’s also occasionally taken to making calculated threats that they will one day have to pay for what they did.

Many fans believed that was building to her memoir. They’re hoping that the book is full of unfiltered stories about the harsh treatment she received at the hands of those closest to her. But now according to TMZ, two people fans expected to see in the memoir are apparently not worried about it. They caught up with her ex-husband Sam Asghari who said that he “wasn’t nervous about it.” They even spoke with her father Jamie Spears, who many villainized during the #FreeBritney movement. He says that he doesn’t even plan on reading the memoir when it comes out. Check out their video with Asghari below.

Britney’s Ex-Husband Has Already Read Her Memoir

Britney Spears has been in the thick of some drama with fans recently over her Instagram videos. She shared a number of clips of herself dancing with what appeared to be knives. While she insisted they were fake that didn’t stop fans from calling in a wellness check on her, which she didn’t appreciate.

That issue was re-ignited last week when she posted yet another dancing video. But it was one smaller detail that fans really honed in on, a bandage on one of her fingers. Many interpreted that as evidence that she had, in fact, been dancing with real knives the entire time and hurt herself as a result. What do you think of the responses from people close to Britney Spears over her memoir? Let us know in the comment section below.

Britney Spears Reportedly Looking To Reconcile With Estranged Father

Amid her ongoing divorce, Britney Spears is reportedly looking to repair a different relationship. Per TMZ, Spears has reportedly expressed interest in reconciling with her estranged father, Jamie. According to TMZ‘s source, Britney has reportedly expressed interest in the idea as her father’s health declines. Jamie has reportedly been in and out of hospital for several months now. Additionally, per this source, Britney doesn’t want to wait until it’s too late to fix the relationship.

Jamie is reportedly undergoing surgery later this week, Surgeons will attempt to clear an infection that has formed around his knee replacement. Sources close to Jamie also told TMZ that Jamie has been seeking the opportunity to reconcile with his daughter for some time. Furthermore, they claim that Jamie “never harbored any ill will” towards Britney. This is despite the claims she made about him in the past. This is where the story should be taken with a grain of salt. TMZ has faced numerous allegations of being paid off by Jamie Spears to publish anti-Britney stories in the past. If those allegations are accurate, they are far from an unbiased source on this matter.

However, Jamie was reportedly said to be “elated” about Britney’s alleged desire to reconcile with him. Britney is yet to address these rumors herself. Meanwhile, she continues to deal with the fallout of her soon-to-be ex-husband Sam Asghari going public about their divorce. Asghari is seeking to challenge the prenup he signed before marrying Spears last year. Furthermore, Asghari has accused Spears of infidelity with their household staff.

Kevin Federline Shoots Down Report That Britney Spears Is On “Meth”

Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Kevin Federline, has shot down a report from the Daily Mail that suggested the singer’s family is worried that she is on meth and could die of an overdose. The outlet claimed to have spoken with Federline, and her estranged father, Jamie Spears, about Britney’s situation during a recent interview.

“It saddens our family that Daphne Barak and Erbil Gunasti have decided to fabricate lies and publish the heartache our family has endured, along with the trauma of our minor children in the Daily Mail and The Sun,” Federline wrote in an Instagram Story statement, Sunday. “We did allow Daphne & Bill into our home because we trusted them, but that trust was lost and we severed ties back in March for many reasons we choose not to go into here. It is very distressing that she continues to harass our family when we have repeatedly asked her to leave us alone.”

As for the Daily Mail’s report, they quoted Federline as saying, “I fear she’s on meth. I’ve been praying someone would make it public and that she wakes up. It’s terrifying. She is the mother of my boys.” They also mentioned Jamie comparing Britney to Amy Winehouse, who died of alcohol poisoning at just 27 yards old in 2011 after battling with substance abuse.

“Every time the telephone rings, I fear that there will be devastating news,” they further quoted Federline as saying. “I don’t want the boys to wake up one morning and find their mother has taken an overdose.” Britney and Federline were married from 2004-2007. They share two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden.

The Britney Spears Conservatorship Fiasco Is About To Become A Juicy Netflix Documentary

Britney Spears has had it rough for a while, but recently things have been on the up-and-up. She recently got engaged. What’s more, the long battle over her conservatorship, which saw her father, Jamie, still in control over much of her life and her fortune, appears to be coming to an end. It’s the latter that will be the focus of a new Netflix documentary.

It’s called Britney Vs. Spears, and it will be the second high-profile doc about the pop star’s life, following Hulu’s Framing Britney Spears. That one, released earlier this year, chronicled her rise to stardom, her oft-negative treatment by the media, her highly publicized breakdown, and, finally, her conservatorship.

Britney Vs. Spears will delve deep into that last thing, exploring how her father spent 13 years overseeing her wealth and career and shielding her from media appearances, and how Britney ended up being so tightly controlled she reportedly had to ask to borrow other people’s phones to make calls.

Jamie Spears recently offered to end his conservatorship following a long and very public battle, in which his daughter repeatedly petitioned to have a judge give it the axe. Shortly after that happened, Britney became engaged to her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari.

Britney Vs. Spears will be directed by Erin Lee Carr, award-winning documentarian, who has often focused on true crime stories, as in Netflix’s How to Fix a Drug Scandal and HBO’s I Love You, Now Die: The Commonwealth vs. Michelle Carter. She is also the daughter of the late New York Times journalist David Carr.
