Meek Mill’s Phone Stolen On Ghana Trip

One of the best Philly rappers took a nice vacation this week for a performance, and it was eventful to say the least. A pickpocket stole Meek Mill’s phone during his trip to Ghana, prompting him to ask for help on his Instagram story. The “Dreams & Nightmares” MC headlined the Afro Nation concert on Thursday night (December 29th). Also, the incident comes after he bailed 20 incarcerated women out of jail to be with their families for the holidays.

As proven on this trip, that good karma comes back to reward you when you’re feeling low. Meek fortunately got his phone back, and thanked the crew that got it to him on his Instagram story.

“I wanna say thank you guys for getting this phone back to my life, man,” the 35-year-old said. “Y’all ain’t let ’em hack me or nothin’, did you, Commander?” He spoke to a Ghanan official who was seemingly escorting the phone-rescuing entourage. Also, he captioned the story post with “All my lil chicks was scared lol thankyouuuu.”

Moreover, video clips of Meek before he hit the Afro Nation stage show the chaos the phone might’ve been lost in. Dozens of people gathered around the Philly rapper. “They roughed me tf upppppp but the love overpowered it…” he wrote on Instagram. “Almost went from dreams to nightmares quick lol.”

Besides the crowds and almost-robbery, Meek had a ball in Ghana. As the Internet does, fans were quick to identify a woman who Meek was filmed riding an ATV with. Still, amid fans and admirers, it seemed the streets were all for it. When his phone was stolen, even Ghana musicians like dancehall artist Shatta Wale called for action.

“Streetz, if you know you have Meek Mill’s phone, please return if that’s true,” he tweeted. “You can’t do that to a real hustler. By [tomorrow] morning, return a.m. Meek inspires all of us on the street a lot.”

What do you think of Meek Mill’s stolen and returned phone and his trip to Ghana? Moreover, are you excited for new Meek music soon? Let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest celebrity antics and close calls.

Kehlani says she was sexually assaulted following a performance at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in the U.K., Monday night. The show was a part of the European leg of her “Blue Water Road Trip Tour.”

Kehlani began by saying she won’t address the incident on video.

“I don’t want any video of me as angry, triggered, crying upset as i am anywhere,” she wrote. “i don’t care how sexual you deem my music, my performances, my fun with my friends dancing at clubs, or ME….”

She further continued: “That does not give any of you the right to cross a boundary like sticking your hands up my skirt & pulling my underwear to TOUCH MY GENITALS as i am being escorted through a crowd after performing.”

“As a victim of sexual assault, i am endlessly triggered and mindblown,” Kehlani concluded.

Kehlani previously opened up about her experience as a survivor of sexual assault on her Sunday Gems podcast in 2019. She shared words of support for others in need.

“I don’t want to add more hurt, I don’t want to add more pain,” she said at the time. “All I want to say is, ‘Sending love to everybody who’s on a healing path right now, and sending love to everybody who needs it. And if you’re apologizing for abuse, you’re disgusting. Suck my dick.’”

“Before every show,” Offset captioned the post. “I love you bra.”

Takeoff was shot and killed at a bowling alley in Houston, early last month. He was just 28 years old. Police have since detained a man they suspect of committing the shooting.

Offset’s partner, Cardi B, recently spoke about how the two of them have been coping in the time since.

“We living our life normally, but deep down inside our hearts have been so heavy,” Cardi said in a since-deleted social media post. “I feel like if I talk about the incident so desensitized. I feel like if we talk about how we really feel or what motherfuckers really been going through, y’all will start saying, ‘Oh, sympathy.’ And we don’t want no sympathy. We ain’t no charity case. But no lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy.”

Cardi added: “Trying to make him crack a smile, seeing him randomly cry, see him trying to distract his mind completely, schedules been changing, trying to keep up with work after everything that he’s been going through these past couple of weeks.”

Ticketmaster Apologizes For “Unprecedented” Ticket Fraud At Bad Bunny Concert

Ticketmaster has issued an apology after hundreds of fans were denied entry into Bad Bunny’s concert in Mexico City on Friday. The company says that an “unprecedented” amount of fake tickets were sold.

In the statement, Ticketmaster explained, “the issues with access were the result of an unprecedented number of fake tickets, which led to a not normal agglomeration of people and an intermittent operation of our system.”

“The above generated confusion and complicated the entrance to the stadium,” the statement further explained. “With the unfortunate consequence that people with legitimate tickets were denied access.”

Bad Bunny held the concert Estadio Azteca, which boasts a capacity of over 80,000. Security told fans who were denied entry that had fake, duplicated tickets, as well as canceled tickets.

At the present time, Bad Bunny is in the midst of his “El Ultimo Tour del Mundo.” The tour is currently producing some of the most lucrative concerts in history. According to Billboard, he’s grossed more than $232 million from 21 concerts in 15 cities. In the United States, his two sold-out shows at Los Angeles’s SoFi Stadium rank as some of the highest-grossing concerts in the country’s history. Only George Strait’s 2014 farewell show in Arlington, Texas ranks higher.

Friday night’s Bad Bunny fiasco comes one month following Ticketmaster canceling the public on-sale date for Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour.” At the time, they cited “extraordinarily high demands on ticketing system.” The U.S. Senate is also investigating Ticketmaster to determine whether they maintain a monopoly over the concert ticket market.

Estadio Azteca will be hosting another sold-out Bad Bunny show on Sunday night.
