Drake Annoyed With Fans For Lack Of Enthusiasm For Lil Wayne At Latest Concert

Drake called out his fans in attendance at his concert at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL, over the weekend, for not being excited enough about Lil Wayne’s appearance during the show. As Wayne took over the stage to lackluster noise from the audience, Drake ran out on stage to complain and label him the greatest of all time.

“Nah, because look, these my favorite moments in life right now,” he said as he made his way to the stage. “Hey Florida, from the top of the mountain, emerges the motherf*cking greatest of all time. If y’all don’t make some f*cking noise, for my brother Lil Wayne in here tonight.”

The awkward incident comes after Kendrick Lamar dissed Drake and J. Cole on the viral track, “Like That,” from Metro Boomin and Future’s new album, We Don’t Trust You. “F*ck sneak dissin’, first person shooter, I hope they came with three switches,” he raps in his verse. “Think I won’t drop the location? Nicki Minaj Angers Fans After Last-Minute Concert Cancelation

Nicki Minaj fans are furious after the rapper canceled her concert in New Orleans on Monday night due to illness. While the excuse is fair, many attendees were displeased they only received a few hours notice. The Smoothie King Center’s official Instagram page made the announcement around 5:00 PM on the night of the concert.

“Due to doctor’s orders, Nicki Minaj must reschedule her NOLA show tonight,” the statement reads. “As Nicki is still sick, our team does not want to run the risk of getting others sick, and Nicki would not be able to give NOLA the show they deserve. We are working diligently to find a new date, so please hold onto your tickets, and we will inform you all soon.”

Fans explained their frustrations in the comments section of the post. “Nobody is mad bc she canceled, it’s the fact they waited 4 hours before the event to tell us officially,” one user wrote. Another added: “She ain’t just get sick a few hours ago. This should’ve been announced this morning or yesterday. SZA Performs Electric Set At Lollapalooza

SZA was met by an electric audience in Argentina as she headlined Lollapalooza. Alongside performing all of her hits, SZA also shocked the audience by conversing with them in Spanish on several occasions. “Argentina GAAAAVEEE !! It’s been a busy year for SZA already. Elsewhere, SZA beat out a crowded field to take home “Best International Artist” at the BRIT Awards. The St. Louis singer took home the award ahead of the likes of Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift. In fact it, was a quiet night overall for Swift. Cyrus took home “International Song of the Year” for “Flowers”. However, it should be noted that Swift did not have a nomination in this category. Previously, Swift had topped SZA for “Album of the Year” at the Grammys. Furthermore, speaking of the Grammys, alongside Phoebe Bridgers, she won the 2024 Grammy for best pop dup/group performance for their track “Ghost in the Machine”. The pair most notably won the award over Swift, who was nominated for her track “Karma”, which featured Ice Spice.

Elsewhere, SZA has received yet more love for her recent Sesame Street appearance, with longtime resident Cookie Monster eagerly inviting the singer to return. “Me loved having you on our Street, @SZA! Let me know which type of cookies are your favorite for next time. 🍪,” Cookie Monster’s official Twitter account wrote. SZA has yet to provide CM with her preferred cookie. However, Sesame Street recently re-earned the ire of several Republican lawmakers. The GOP, which has long hated the publicly funded show, took issue with the show promoting a “stand up to racism” campaign. In the past, Republican lawmakers have gone as far as to try and defund PBS to prevent the continued production of Sesame Street.

Appearing on the long-running PBS has long been a dream of the singer’s. After appearing on the show, she shared an old Instagram Live clip of her asking her fans how to land an appearance on the show. Furthermore, SZA is not the first musician that Cookie Monster has shown love to. Last year, Lizzo appeared on the show and performed a mini-concert on a cookie flute.

Kelsey Nicole was in attendance at Nicki Minaj’s concert in Las Vegas on Friday night amid the rapper’s feud with her former best friend, Megan Thee Stallion. In a video Nicole posted on social media, she sings along to Minaj’s “Moment 4 Life” with the caption: “You just had to be there.”

When Live Bitez shared the clip on Instagram, users were quick to troll Nicole. “It’s giving clout chaser,” one wrote. Another joked: “You did that interview and still talked to Nicki and your still in the same place [laughing emojis] why you didn’t get back stage passes from her.”

JT Announces Solo Tour With Stops In Miami, Houston, & More

JT will be traveling across the United States without her City Girls partner, Yung Miami, for a new solo tour. She announced the run of concerts on her Instagram page on Saturday. They include stops in Houston, Dallas, Miami, New York, and more cities. “Mwah! I’m on my way which city will I see you in?” JT captioned the post.

In addition to excitement from fans, many users in the comments section took issue with the lack of some major cities. “Girl where is NEW ORLEANS. Do I need to have my ppl hit your ppl?” one follower wrote. Others complained about not having shows in Chicago, Atlanta, and more. One fan noted that the Detroit concert doesn’t have a date confirmed yet. “Now why Detroit don’t got a date?! don’t piss us off,” they wrote.

Kodak Black & Jackboy‘s Feud Leads To Fatal Shooting, Police Claim

Kodak Black and Jackboy‘s beef led to a fatal shooting on January 16, 2023, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say the incident occurred outside of a Jackboy concert at The Barn in Sanford, Florida, Neither artist was personally involved. Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma explained at a news conference that the shooters intended to target Jackboy’s crew, but wound up hitting another van. 31-year-old Princess Tolliver died on the scene.

“Our detectives have determined that none of the victims were the intended target that night,” Lemma announced. “We found that the likely motive for the incident stemmed from a very public, high-profile dispute playing out on social media and in the court system involving Jackboy and a known associate of the shooters, another rap artist Bill Kapri, known by the stage name Kodak Black.”

“It was clear [the suspects] had been watching this very public debate between Kodak Black and Jackboy … and probably took this as an opportunity to make a name for themselves,” he said at the same conference. After the shooting, the victim’s father, Edward, told WESH: “Now my daughter is dead because of this stupid gun activity and the racketeering and selling of drugs. She was just having a good time and now she’s dead.”

Police arrested 13 people in connection with the shooting. All of the victims are allegedly affiliated with the OTF gang. They say the investigation took over a year to conduct and involved 120 search warrants. The charges for the suspects include murder, attempted murder, racketeering, and car theft. As for Kodak Black and Jackboy, the two former friends began feuding in June 2021. In the years since, both artists have dissed each other publically on several occasions. Drake brought out two hometown musicians in Machine Gun Kelly and Doe Boy as he hit up Cleveland, Ohio. The walkout marked the latest stop on the “It’s All A Blur – Big As The What?” Tour. However, some fans questioned where Kid Cudi, another Cleveland legend, was.

However, Kelly is a pretty good pull. The pop punk artist is famously proud of his hometown. Late last year, he appeared on Travis Kelce’s podcast and tried to get the tight end to return home. “I’m sure you get asked this question behind closed doors a lot, but I would be remiss if due to the nature of our friendship and just as a Clevelander if I did not insert this question personally. I will give you $500,000 cash upon arrival just for shopping or whatever you want. Drake Jokingly Asks Canadian Government To Annex Buffalo

Meanwhile, Drake jokingly requested that the Canadian government annex the City of Buffalo to allow his friends living under travel restrictions to see him perform. “@canada can we make Buffalo a province for a day so my friends that can’t travel can come see me perform…just this one time,” Drake wrote on Instagram. The It’s All A Blur – Big As The What? Tour is scheduled to arrive in Buffalo next week. The tour, featuring Lil Durk and J. Cole, is an extension of the tour Drake did last year with 21 Savage.

Buffalo has long been used as “not Canada” by various entities. When COVID travel restrictions made it difficult for MLB teams to visit Toronto, the Blue Jays briefly relocated to their minor league affiliate in Buffalo for several games. Buffalo is a common tour stop for musicians due to its size and promixity to Canada. The city is around 28 miles from the Canadian border. However, the Canadian government has yet to respond to Drake’s request.
