Kanye West’s Concert In Italy Postponed, Here’s Why

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have been working extremely hard out in Italy as of late. For those who may not know, the two are working on a joint album. Overall, this is an extremely exciting prospect for fans of these artists. After all, they always seem to come through with some great collabs. Moreover, fans who have stuck around with Ye have been curious about what his next move would be after his ramblings from this time last year. His new music may just be revealed very soon.

In fact, he was supposed to reveal the album this Friday at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia. Unfortunately, there has been a bit of a snag in these plans. The show has been postponed. However, it actually has nothing to do with the veterans who are protesting Ye. Instead, it has everything to do with a train strike and heavy rain. This was revealed in a statement from Reggio Emilia prefecture, given to The Daily Mail.

“Given the fact that a rail strike was planned the same day and that heavy rain is due, it was thought prudent to postpone the event,” the statement reads. “Our aim [is] to ensure the safety and security of all and if there is a transport issue, then the concert cannot go ahead safely. And as it is open air, the heavy rain forecast would have also created problems. The organizers have been given an alternative date of October 27, and we are waiting to hear back if it is acceptable to them.”

According to TMZ Sports, Jordan made an appearance at one of the R&B superstar’s recent Las Vegas shows that is a part of his residency. “We love you, Mike,” Usher shouted to him from the stage. To further cement how close these two are, the singer even wore the Jordan 3s he designed which are all gold.

Usher & Ashanti Trade “Happy Birthday” Wishes At Vegas Concert: Watch

One celebrity birthday is already a lot, but two of them under the same roof means that fans have to really test their vocal chops when they sing their congratulations. Moreover, this just happened at Usher’s recent Las Vegas show on Saturday (October 14), which called for a special occasion with a fellow R&B superstar of his. The now-45-year-old was born on October 14, whereas Ashanti– who was in attendance that night- turned 43 the previous Friday (October 13). As such, they just had to take advantage of the occasion and wish each other well on their special 24 hours. While onstage, both singers sang “Happy Birthday” to each other, and the crowd made sure to give it their all for the two.

Of course, it’s not like the party stopped there, as the DJ immediately started laying some beats down for everyone to turn up. Overall, it seems like it was all just a massive party, and Usher and Ashanti certainly deserve such extravagant birthday celebrations. They aren’t just musical contemporaries, but also kindred spirits in terms of what they represent for R&B and what how they impacted the culture as a whole. As such, it’s great to see them celebrate and give each other their flowers for all the success and camaraderie they share.

Kanye West And Ty Dolla Sign To Perform In Italy: Report

Earlier this month, it was reported that Kanye West was planning a massive performance in Italy. Reports at the time suggested that the show would take place at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, however, this hasn’t been confirmed. Now, new reports claim that the show has been scheduled for October 27, with tickets going on sale as soon as today (October 15). Moreover, the show is now set to include Ty Dolla $ign, who Ye’s been working alongside on an upcoming collaborative album.

According to Billboard, a venue for the performance has not yet been revealed. After previewing a version of “New Body” featuring West and Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign unveiled the track last week. His joint project with the Chicago MC was originally scheduled to drop on October 13, but it was pushed back. Now, they’re reportedly shopping the album around with different distributers. It’s expected to come out in the next few weeks, though an official release date has yet to be announced.

TMZ reported that Italian World War 2 vets weren’t happy with Ye performing in their country, due to antisemitic remarks he’s made in the past. He’s also stated that he “[sees] good things about Hitler.”

Moreover, many are excited about his potential return to new music, with albums on the way and a rumored massive Italy show this week. However, there have also been plenty of instances in which the Chicago MC and his wife Bianca Censori dove further into controversy and questionable behavior. For example, they were banned from a riverboat company for allegedly engaging in oral sex on a trip, and even faced scrutiny from locals and police officials for their revealing outfit choices.

Furthermore, now Kanye West is catching heat from war veterans in Italy who fought Germany and their allies during World War II. This is according to the Daily Mail, but it’s unclear whether these alleged sources that spoke to the outlet are the veterans themselves. In addition, we don’t know if this is supposed to be everything to speak on here, or if they plan to organize and in some way make a call to action. It seems like their main concern is this big concert in the city of Reggio Emilia, so whether it’s a protest or just a statement, they’re not happy.

For those unaware, Kanye West made some abhorrent antisemitic comments last year, in which he praised Hitler and expressed a whole lot of other controversial beliefs. As such, veterans reportedly take issue with the fact that about 80,000 people might give the 46-year-old a heightened platform if this concert actually happens. Of course, this is a common sentiment not just throughout Italy in some demographics, but across pretty any place in the entire world where Ye fans exist. But for every person distraught by his behavior, there’s another ready to set it all aside.

On that note, it will be very interesting to see what the public dynamic will be like if the Yeezy mogul comes back. Maybe his statements will take center stage again, or it’ll be a relatively silent drop-off. That seems unlikely, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Sure, the rain also just adds a coolness factor, so it ended up working out just fine.

Furthermore, the performances during this tour is only part of the greatness it’s offering. For example, apparently The Weeknd’s trek in Colombia boosted the nation’s economy considerably, and that takes a big dent. It’s been one of the most sought-after and also acclaimed concert series of the past few years, and it spans two full studio albums- with one project left to complete the trilogy. Abel Tesfaye might be hanging up his moniker soon, but it’s clear his creativity and artistry won’t be held back, whether by rain or otherwise.

Lil Wayne Completely Oblivious Of Fan Rushing Stage At Recent Concert

Lil Wayne hilariously missed a fan rushing the stage at a recent concert. Wayne had turned his back to the crowd to light up when the DJ and security responded to a woman trying to get to Wayne. By the time he turned back around and had begun performing, the woman had already been removed. There were no other reported incidents from the concert in Vegas. Last weekend, Wayne performed during halftime of the Raiders-Steelers game.

Social media users both trolled Wayne and praised his team for handling the situation. “N-gga didn’t even notice ,” one person said. “Wayne is not paying attention tho still the dj was like yoooo get her fast good looking Out DJ ,” added another while someone else “A+ security for a legend”. “I used to have to pull my kid out the toy section at Target like that ,” joked another.

Elsewhere, Wayne was in Wisconsin last week for a special performance. He had the honor of leading the Green Bay Packers onto the field before their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Lions. Wayne looked ecstatic as he roared and screamed as the Packers players ran past him. However, there was also an element of hilarity as the 5″5 rapper was absolutely dwarfed by the Packers squad.

However, Wayne couldn’t inspire a victory for the home team. The Packers were thoroughly dismantled 34-20 by the Lions. Things were so bad that the Lions led 27-3 at halftime. The one-sided loss drops the Packers to 2-2 on the season while giving the Lions (3-1) firm control over the NFC North. Jordan Love threw for 246 yards while the Packers only managed 27 yards on the ground. Meanwhile, Lions RB David Montgomery absolutely dominated, with 121 yards and three touchdowns on the day. It was overall a bad week for Wayne-supported football teams as Deion Sanders’ Colorado also fell to USC.
