During a recent appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast, Wallo recalled some valuable advice he once gave Young Thug before he was sent to prison. According to him, the rapper had shown him a $1M wire from Rolling Loud for one performance when they met for an interview in 2021. Young Thug also showed up with huge crew, prompting Wallo to impart some of his wisdom.

“I’m looking at him like ‘Yo, you know what that mean? You know who you are? You’re responsible for everybody in the f*cking room. You’ve got to be on point and you’ve got to be mindful of who you’ve got around you,’” Wallo explained. “All the artists will tell you I said this, Durk, Young Thug, everybody. I’ll be like, ‘Why you got all these n****s with you?’”

Wallo Claims Young Thug Showed Him $1M Wire For One Performance

He went on, also emphasizing the fact that his advice was genuine, and comes from experience. Wallo recalled considering the cost of all of the plane tickets, hotels, gear, meals, and more for everyone there. Regardless, he said none of them were bringing anything to the table, or willing to help out where it was needed. On top of this, he pointed out that they were a liability. Clearly, that was the last thing Young Thug needed to worry about at that point in his career.

Wallo also claimed that if he were Young Thug’s manager, the only people around would be a cameraman, his DJ, security, and an assistant to make sure everything ran smoothly. It seems as though he opted to reflect on Diddy and J Cole’s fight at a VMAs after-party in 2013. Allegedly, Diddy wasn’t happy with Kendrick’s “Control” verse, and J Cole was defending him.

In a clip from the podcast, Punch recalls hitting a club in New York City when two people began to argue over a big song. These men are speculated to be J Cole and Diddy. According to him, the VIP section they were in was like “the front row of the Grammys,” meaning there were plenty of high-profile people around. The argument escalated when one of them said they’d cut the other’s throat with a bottle if they were to disrespect them again. The one who was threatened threw a punch, resulting in a “huge scuffle.” It’s rumored that Diddy was the one to make the bottle threat, whereas Cole threw the punch.

Punch Recalls Wild Fight In NYC Club

At this point, Punch claims that a man who was friends with one of the celebrity onlookers got involved and started beating up J Cole. This is rumored to be Jay-Z’s close friend, Emory Jones. Eventually, Jones allegedly realized that he was beating up J Cole, who was signed to Roc Nation. Apparently, he didn’t have his glasses on and immediately felt guilty when he realized what happened. Of course, it’s not confirmed that this is the altercation Punch was referring to. It’s also not confirmed that the altercation played out exactly this way.

Daniels later issued a statement in response to the incident, revealing that one of the officers involved had been placed on administrative leave.

“Following the incident involving Tyreek Hill, I have initiated an Internal Affairs investigation to ensure a thorough review of the matter. One of the officers involved in the incident has been placed on administrative duties while the investigation is conducted,” she said. “I’m committed to transparency and accountability to the community with any situation involving my officers.” Bodycam footage of the traffic stop was later released. It shows Hill being forcibly removed from his vehicle and thrown on the ground.

Rick Ross Calls Out Officer Who Detained Tyreek Hill

Ultimately, he was left in handcuffs for roughly 20 minutes and released. The officers’ aggressive demeanor quickly gained attention online, however. According to Ross, Hill simply rolled his window up after handing over his license to prevent onlookers from recognizing him and gathering at the scene. The incident took place right in front of the stadium where he was playing that night.
