Drake Trash Talks Black People Around White People, Lord Jamar Speculates

Amid Kendrick Lamar’s viral lyrical battle with Drake, he told the Toronto-born performer that he doesn’t like when he uses the n-word, calling it “cringe-worthy.” This became one of the most memorable jabs of the entire feud, as it called Drake’s role in hip-hop culture into question, stirred up “culture vulture” accusations, and more.

Now, Lord Jamar has weighed in on the debate, revealing that he agrees with Kendrick. “I’m not a Drake album fan,” he began. “I don’t like… how he turns his sh*t on and off, you know what I mean? […] It’s just like, n****a who are you?” He went on, theorizing that Drake acts a lot differently around white people, and even speaks negatively about Black people.

Lord Jamar Claims Drake Shouldn’t Use The N-Word

“That’s not who you really are,” Lord Jamar said of Drake using the n-word. “Like I could see you going back to the white people when nobody is around and saying ‘Yeah, I say n***a in my rhymes and they don’t say anything to me. That’s because they think I’m one of them, but I’m really one of you.’” He continued, urging Drake to stop trying to play both sides. “It’s like come on man,” he explained. “You’ve got to choose a lane, bro. Choose a lane. He wants to be everything to all people it seems like, and you can’t do that. You’ve got to pick a side.”

Drake isn’t the only artist he was critical of during the interview, however. He also took aim at Sexyy Red, accusing her of being an industry plant and going after her appearance. What do you think of Lord Jamar speculating that Drake speaks poorly of Black people around white people? What about him claiming that he shouldn’t use the n-word? Do you agree with him or not? Kanye West & Jay-Z’s Creative Processes Are Drastically Different, Malik Yusef Reveals

It’s no secret that Jay-Z and Kanye West are some of the most iconic hip-hop artists of their generation. According to one of their frequent collaborators, however, they each have drastically different approaches to making music. During a recent appearance on the TFU Podcast, Malik Yusef detailed their creative processes, noting that he sees them as equal despite the stark contrast.

“Hov works the least amount of hard on his music than anybody else I’ve ever met,” he began. “Like with Kanye, we’ll stay up for 36 hours, go to sleep for four and come back and do another 30. Hov — he just too good. Hov’s ridiculous. I mean, Kanye and Hov for me is [equal]; they just have different approaches.”

Malik Yusef Says Jay-Z Works Faster Than Ye

“Hov be like, ‘Can you get to the studio at 6?’ By 10, we got three songs done,” Yusef continued. “Kanye, he’ll have three months and have no songs done. Kanye will take a whole album and be like, ‘We have some good stuff on here. Aight, let’s start the album for real now.’” Perhaps this could explain why it took so long for fans to hear Vultures 1, though this could also have something to do with Ye’s apparent retirement plans.

Earlier this week, he told Rich The Kid that he was quitting music for good, adding that he’s “not sure what else to do.” Of course, fans are skeptical of the announcement, though they’re still eager to know what this means for Vultures 2 with Ty Dolla Sign. What do you think of Malik Yusef revealing that while Jay-Z works fast, Kanye West spends days at a time working on his music? Are you surprised that their creative processes are so different? Azealia Banks Attends Donald Trump Rally In Miami Amid Eviction Rumors

As of late, fans have seen plenty of their favorite celebrities popping out for various summer festivities, Azealia Banks included. Instead of a music festival or Independence Day party, however, the “212” rapper recently decided to attend one of Donald Trump’s rallies in Miami. In a clip that surfaced online earlier today, she sported a bright red dress as she supported the former president, who’s seeking reelection this fall.

A fan captured a clip alongside her as Trump discussed subjects like “World War III,” inflation, and more. She appeared to be in good spirits, later reposting another shot of herself at the event on her Instagram Story. Trump’s official Instagram page even shared some photos from the rally yesterday, where she can just barely be made out.

Azealia Banks Continues To Support Donald Trump

While some are surprised to see her unabashedly riding for the now-convicted felon, others argue that it’s perfectly on brand, and note that this is far from the first time she’s shown him support. Last November, for example, she chatted with The Standard about this year’s election. At the time, she revealed that she planned to vote for Trump, citing his resiliency and sense of humor as deciding factors. “He’s just f*cking funny,” she explained to the outlet. “He’s been through how many bankruptcies? How many wives? How many television shows? Seriously, nothing can take him down.”

Banks previously supported Ron DeSantis, but eventually changed her mind due to his “attacks on drag culture [and] his quarrel with Disney,” according to Evgeny Lebedev. What do you think of Azealia Banks being spotted at a Donald Trump rally in Miami? Are you shocked or not? What about her continuing to support him despite his recent conviction? Busta Rhymes Goes Off On Essence Festival Crowd: “F*ck Your Phone!”

Recently, Busta Rhymes graced the stage at the 2024 Essence Festival in New Orleans. Unfortunately, however, not everyone was on the same page throughout the show. At one point, the NYC-born performer paused his set to call out crowd members for sitting down and filming on their phones. He didn’t hold back, making it clear that he’s not from an era where that was acceptable.

“A-yo, f**k them camera phones, too. Let’s get back to interacting like humans. Put them weird-a** devices down,” he shouted. “I ain’t from that era. Them s**ts don’t control the soul. F**k your phone.” Obviously, he wasn’t having it and wasn’t afraid to let the audience know.

Busta Rhymes Gets Heated As Fans Use Phones, Sit At Essence Festival

“I will put every one of y’all out until y’all a*ses is up,” he also added. “Thirty-three years of doing this s**t, I ain’t use to ni**as sitting down at my show, I don’t give a f**k!” The outburst has managed to spark a debate in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section, as commenters share their takes on the unexpected moment. While some think Busta Rhymes was in the right to call out the crowd, others think he took things too far. Some are also arguing that a majority of his fans are older, and simply aren’t looking to stand through an entire concert.

“We not in YOUR era anymore big dawg, people paid to see you calm down,” one Instagram user says. “What he has to realize is that his main demographic is older as well!!!” another writes. “They like to sit at concerts because they are older.” What do you think of Busta Rhymes cursing out fans at Essence Fest for sitting and having their phones out? Does he have a point, or did he simply overreact? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Lil Wayne Knows Nothing About A Hot Boys Reunion: “You Just Told Me!”

Rumors of a potential Hot Boys reunion album have been circulating for some time now, but according to Lil Wayne, he knows nothing about it. During a recent appearance on the Not Just Football podcast, the rapper was asked about it, prompting him to call some of Juvenile’s previous claims into question. In May of this year, Juvenile took to Instagram Live to announce that the group’s first album in over two decades was in the works.

“The Hot Boys Is back together, man,” he declared at the time, stating that he and other members planned to hit the studio in the coming weeks. “Any other f*cking questions?” For obvious reasons, his announcement had fans eager to hear what was to come, but it looks like the wait could be longer than they may have hoped.

Lil Wayne Discusses Hot Boys Reunion Album

It’s certainly possible that Juvenile linked up with some of the other Hot Boys, but Lil Wayne insists that he himself hasn’t done any work on the project. “That’s what he [said]? I ain’t been to the kitchen yet. I would not lie to you, I have not been in that kitchen yet,” he said, “I have no problem with going to that kitchen, but I ain’t smell it, it ain’t come through the window yet. I ain’t smell the food […] They ain’t told me nothing yet.”

Fortunately, it seems as though Lil Wayne is willing to take part in a reunion album, despite not knowing much about it at this point. Hopefully, he’ll touch base with Juvenile and the rest of the members soon to work out the details. What do you think of Lil Wayne revealing that he knows nothing about the previously announced Hot Boys reunion album? Do you hope he gets in the studio soon? Keith Lee’s Security Restrains Him After Troll Calls Him DDG: Watch

Keith Lee has been making plenty of headlines since his appearance at the BET Awards this weekend, largely due to a viral mix-up. Host Taraji P. Henson mistook another influencer for him as she made her way through the crowd giving people their flowers. He later made clear that he didn’t appreciate the mistake. In a TikTok, the food reviewer explained that he doesn’t hold it against Henson, but does hold it against the event’s production team.

Henson later responded to his complaints, claiming that he had been in a different seat than he was previously assigned, which is what prompted the confusion. She also said that his “ego is hurt,” suggesting that he’s making a bigger deal out of the mishap than necessary. “Life really is too short for this behavior,” she wrote. “He wasn’t in his seat [shrug emoji].”

Man Approaches Keith Lee To Call Him DDG

Now, however, it appears as though one troll decided to poke fun at the viral drama by mixing Lee up with yet another person. In a new clip making its rounds online, he’s seen walking with his team when a man approaches him and starts calling him DDG. “Don’t do that,” Lee said repeatedly as a security guard grabbed him. The incident has sparked mixed reactions among social media users in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section.

Some see it as nothing but an innocent joke. Others think the man should have respected Lee’s boundaries, particularly considering all that he’s already been through this week. What do you think of a troll pretending to think Keith Lee was DDG after his BET Awards mix-up? Do you think he went too far, or was it an innocent joke? Kodak Black Announces That He’s Mostly Sober

Kodak Black has been open about his substance abuse issues in the past, and recently, he gave fans yet another hopeful update on his journey to sobriety. During an Instagram Live earlier this week, the rapper revealed that going a few days without substances is “nothing” for him now, which is a far cry from how he felt previously. “I’m sober for the most part,” he declared.

He went on to say that “if the Gremlin can do it, y’all can do it,” expressing a desire to motivate others battling substance abuse with his own progress. Kodak added that he’s proud of himself for taking steps in the right direction. Of course, fans are flooding him with praise in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section for the inspiring feat.

Kodak Black Opens Up About His Sobriety Journey

“Love that for him,” one Instagram user says. “A win is a win,” someone else writes. Others are commending him for being so transparent with his supporters about the pitfalls of addiction and trying to encourage others not to go down the same road he did. Kodak Black’s latest remarks on sobriety arrive only days after he revealed that he regrets some of his most popular lyrics about drug use during a show in LA.

The lyrics in question are from his 2022 track “Super Gremlin,” in which he raps about taking fake Percs. He clarified that had he actually been taking fake drugs, he’d be “dead” by now, and that it can be incredibly dangerous. The performer explained that he didn’t want listeners to hear the line and get the wrong idea. What do you think of Kodak Black revealing that he’s mostly sober these days? Druski Says Sexyy Red & Tyla Could Both “Get It” After Rubi Rose Breakup

Last month, Rubi Rose announced that she was officially single following a short-lived fling with Druski. Since then, the two of them have both been seen out and about, appearing unfazed by the unexpected split. Over the weekend, for example, Druski popped out for the 2024 BET Awards. On the carpet, he was asked about the breakup, though he was sure to keep his response as vague as possible. “Hey man… Aye, that what they said, you heard that? Now I say, man, I don’t know, man. You know, I’m just here blessed and highly favored, man, you know,” he said.

Now, however, he appears to have his eye on a couple of other female celebs. TMZ recently asked him and DJ Drama to weigh in on Tyla taking home the award for Best New Artist at the BET Awards instead of Sexyy Red. After the awards show, many of the “Pound Town” performer’s fans insisted that she was “robbed” of the title. DJ Drama seems to agree, and while Druski didn’t give a concrete answer, he was sure to show love to both of them.

Druski & DJ Drama Weigh In On Best New Artist Debate After BET Awards

“She was fine as hell I’ll tell you that,” Druski said of Sexyy Red. “[Tyla’s] fine too. They both could get it, f*ck it.” As for DJ Drama, he said that while he thinks Tyla is “dope,” he definitely believes the award should have gone to Sexyy Red. Neither Sexyy Red nor Tyla have addressed the debate at the time of writing, though the St. Louis-born rapper seemed relatively unbothered by the loss.

What do you think of DJ Drama claiming that Sexyy Red should have won Best New Artist at the BET Awards instead of Tyla? What about Druski claiming that they both could “get it”? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Jamie Foxx Recalls Taking Advil & Waking Up 20 Days Later: Watch

Last year, it was revealed that Jamie Foxx was dealing with an unspecified health condition, prompting him to stay out of the spotlight for months. He’s since been seen out in public, appearing to have made a recovery. Foxx has yet to provide his fans with a full explanation, though he did recently share some new details of the health scare with a group of restaurant patrons. In a clip circulating online, he claims that it all began after he asked a friend for some Advil to treat a bad headache.

“Look, April 11 last year, bad headache, asked my boy for an Advil [and] I was gone for 20 days. I don’t remember anything. I’m in Atlanta, they told me—my sister and my daughter took me to the first doctor,” he explained. “The next doctor said, ‘There’s something going on up there…’ I won’t say it on camera… but it was.”

Remy Ma Admits She Wants To Smack Three People Amid Son’s Murder Charges

It’s been a busy few months for Remy Ma, and it appears as though all the drama she’s dealing with has left her fed up. Earlier this month, for example, her son Jayson Scott was arrested in New York City for his alleged involvement in a murder. Reportedly, he could be looking at a life sentence for his alleged crimes. Before that, the femcee was making headlines for rumors that she cheated on her husband Papoose with a battle rapper. The man believed to have been her alleged side piece, Eazy The Block Captain, only fueled these rumors with a flirty birthday post at the end of last month.

Recently, Remy took to Instagram Live to air some of her frustrations, revealing that there are three people in particular that she’s had enough of. “Three people that when I catch them, I don’t give a f*ck who they call. Smacking they f*ckin’ cheek off and that’s just that on that,” she said. “And they know it too.”

Remy Ma Wants To “Smack” Three People

At the time of writing, it remains unclear exactly who Remy was referring to. Clearly, however, she’s not messing around. Social media users are reacting to her cryptic message in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section. So far, her remarks have them split. While some think that Remy has the right to be fed up, others think she’d be better off keeping this to herself, particularly considering her son’s current situation.

Based on her demeanor in the clip, however, she doesn’t seem to have any plans to let criticism change her mind. What do you think of Remy Ma’s recent message about smacking three unnamed people?
