Erica Banks has been making plenty of headlines in recent months, due in part to her cosmetic procedures. The rapper underwent her second BBL late last year, which sparked a major debate among social media users. She began receiving hate from those claiming she took her enhancements too far, though she appears to be unfazed by the criticism.

While Banks isn’t paying haters any mind, she did decide to open up about some of the downsides of the procedure during a recent interview. She told B High ATL that the recovery came with a lot of pain, which took several months to go away. Banks recalled preparing for surgery by watching videos of others getting it done, which scared her.

Ultimately, however, she still decided to go through with the surgery because she felt the reward would outweigh the risk. “The healing process and going through it, like, the first day until you’re healed is hell,” she explained. “Probably the worst pain I’ve ever experienced in my whole life… The first day, I passed out.” Banks went on, recalling the months after her surgery. “The pain is just excruciating, you know, cuz the inside of your body is like brutalized,” she said. “It took a while. I probably didn’t stop hurting all the way until like April, and I got my surgery in December. I just stopped hurting in April.”

Banks continued, noting that while her backside does feel heavy at times, she’s not yet struggling with any back pain. Allegedly, the two of them were arguing when he punched her in the lip, which prompted her to start filming.

“You just punched me in my mouth,” Holli J is heard telling Sanders, to which he replied, “I’m so sorry, I fell.” From there, she urged him to clarify. “So you fell and hit me with your fist?” she asked. He continued to apologize for the alleged assault, telling her he needed her, and more. Holli J went on to share screenshots of their alleged texts, which show her asking for him to return their son. In the messages, she claims that they agreed for Sanders to care for the child over the summer. Now, she alleges that he’s keeping him from her.

Tyler, The Creator has proven again and again that he is an artist’s artist. He truly tries to evolve and experiment with sounds, textures, and genres, to bring a different listening experience to each project. It’s why he’s become one of the biggest names in hip-hop, especially over the last several years or so. It’s been quite a bit since we got a new project from the California chameleon, with CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST being the most recent in 2021. We did get the extended version, The Estate Sale in 2023, but not a truly fresh and separate LP. We are going to hear him collaborate with A$AP Rocky again when DON’T BE DUMB drops on August 30.

While we continue to hope for new music, Tyler, The Creator is sharing some pretty blunt comments/opinions on the current landscape of hip-hop. This is nothing new as he is going to speak out if he feels passionate about something. In this case, the IGOR creator is putting a lot of the new rappers on blast for not respecting the art form and thus do not deserve the musician title. In a repost from NFR Podcast, the clip sees Tyler sitting down with Maverick Carter, a close friend and collaborator of LeBron James.

Tyler, The Creator Thinks A Lot Of Rappers Aren’t True Musicians

He hosts his own show called Mavericks which is produced by Bron and Mav’s media company, SpringHill. His sit-down with Tyler will air on YouTube tomorrow, August 14, according to the teaser. In the short preview, he says, “There are so many n****s out right now who aren’t musicians, that are getting treated like musicians because they make meme records”, he states. Later, Tyler adds, “[They] publicly will be like, ‘I don’t give a f*** about music, I just do this s*** for money’”. Hilariously, at the end of the video, there’s an audio bite of Tyler saying that someone’s going to take this out of context. We will have to wait to hear the full conversation, but it seems pretty clear cut to us that Tyler doesn’t have a lot of respect for this new wave of talent.

JT Shares Her Side Of City Girls’ Breakup

Last week, Yung Miami unveiled a new episode of her podcast Caresha Please, addressing various topics she’s frequently asked about. She discussed her career, her relationship with Diddy, and of course, where she stands with JT. The two of them have gone their separate directions in recent months, leaving fans wondering whether or not the City Girls were still a duo.

Yung Miami said that while she’ll always see JT as family, they were no longer on the same page creatively. “We outgrew each other,” she explained. “She was in L.A., I was in Miami. Every time we tried to get together, it just didn’t hit.” Yung Miami added that even when they were on tour together, her and JT led very separate lives. “We was in two different head spaces,” she said. “The way we dressed was different. Whenever we tried to get together, it just didn’t connect.”

Again, the woman’s identity remains a mystery, as does what caused all this. With that being said, she unveiled her boyfriend on Instagram back in June, who could be the man she’s referring to in her caption.

Aside from getting healthy, Vybz Kartel has already unveiled a new mixtape, First Week Out. He’s even decided to celebrate his newfound freedom with a symbolic tattoo. In a new clip, he showcases the piece, which features an eagle getting released from a cage. Of course, this represents his own release after a lengthy prison stay.
