Starting Saturday, June 11, Drai’s Nightclub will welcome famous performer Chris Brown back to the Drai’s LIVE stage for a new multi-year engagement. The Grammy Award-winning artist will make his triumphant return with an explosive new creation unlike anything seen before on Drai’s LIVE. The Drai’s website has tickets available now.

When Brown initially took the Drai’s LIVE stage in 2015, he was one of the club’s inaugural tenants, and he’ll be the first with a custom-designed set and production. The transparent two-level stage, designed to bring Brown’s vision to life, will bring him closer to his fans with an immersive, up close and personal encounter. The R&B legend will sing favorites from his 15-year career, such as “Go Crazy,” “Iffy,” and “No Guidance,” as well as tracks from his highly anticipated new album, Breezy (TBC). At a later date, further shows from his multi-year residency will be revealed.

“Chris Brown helped define Drai’s LIVE and what has become an unmatched lineup of residency performers on the Las Vegas Strip,” said Dustin Drai, Vice President of Entertainment, Drai’s Management Group. “He’s one of the most dynamic live performers today and we’re thrilled to welcome him back with a production that’s set to deliver an unprecedented fan experience.”

Brown has continued to set records, including his own, when the original version of his smash “Go Crazy” surpassed his track “No Guidance” as the longest-running #1 song on the US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart at 28 weeks. He’s received many award nominations and victories in the last year alone. “Heat” and “No Guidance” were chart-topping singles from his ninth studio album. Breezy (TBC), his ninth studio album, is set to be released this summer.

Even though he gave fans a timetable on when to expect the album, June, there is no official release date. However, he did reveal briefly on what to expect from his album. In April when CB teased that an album was on the way, he said “a different type of LOVE mixed wit heartbreak”

“NOT GON LIE… It take a different type of LOVE mixed wit heartbreak for some of these songs on my album,” Brown wrote on his Instagram Story. “So ahead of time…. THANK YOU [praying hands emoji].” Subsequently to the post, Tory Lanez, who heard a sneak peak of the album, raved about it.

Chris Brown also said that the number of tracks on his 10th album will be the same amount of songs that was on his debut album.

Chris Brown Readies ‘Breezy’ Album for June

Breezy season is upon us.

Chris Brown’s new album is finally nearing a release. The R&B singer took to Instagram to announce that the long-awaited Breezy is set to arrive sometime next month.

“BREEZY ALBUM JUNE,” he wrote in an Instagram Story, while reiterating the June date in a post.

It’s been over two years in the making. Back in July 2020, Chris announced his 10th studio album Breezy, which has spawned a pair of singles, “WE (Warm Embrace)” and “Iffy.”

Chris, who celebrated his 33rd birthday last week, previously revealed that the follow-up to 2019’s Indigo will contain 16 tracks, like his 2005 self-titled debut. “The amount of songs on this one will be the same amount of songs as my first album. KEEP IT CLASSIC… Chris Brown to BREEZY!” he told fans.

After the album drops, Chris will hit the road with Lil Baby on their “One of Them Ones” joint tour, starting July 15 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The 27-date North American trek includes stops in New York, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, and Los Angeles, wrapping Aug. 27 in Las Vegas.

Drake Has Been Dropped From A Lawsuit Against Chris Brown Over ‘No Guidance’

Good news for Drake: The Toronto rapper/singer has been dropped from a lawsuit against Chris Brown over their 2019 collaboration “No Guidance,” according to Billboard. The two former foes were sued in October by a pair of songwriters, Mr. Cooper and Drum’n Skillz, who claimed “No Guidance” sounded like their 2016 song, “I Love Your Dress.” The plaintiffs also claimed that a line in “No Guidance” is a subliminal reference to Cooper; in his verse, Drake rhymes, “Flew the coop at 17, no guidance / You be stayin’ low but you know what the vibes is.”

The two stars have asked a judge to dismiss the case, but on Tuesday this week, Cooper and Drum’n Skillz (real names Braindon Cooper and Timothy Valentine) voluntarily moved to dismiss claims against Drake, leaving Brown and Sony Music as the defendants.

In their initial response to the lawsuit, Brown and Drake’s effectively said that Cooper and Valentine were too obscure for them to have ever heard their song. Meanwhile, the plaintiffs fired back, writing, “This argument – essentially that defendants are somehow immune from copyright infringement claims by individuals who are not as famous as they are – is both egotistical and without any legal basis whatsoever. Undoubtedly, regardless of their fame and status, defendants may be, and should be, held accountable for their infringement.”

The suit still must go before a judge, who will decide whether to dismiss the claim or proceed toward a jury trial.
