Yung Miami Draws Mixed Reactions To Her Bizarre New York Fashion Week Look

Yung Miami was turning heads and raising eyebrows during New York Fashion Week thanks to a pretty unique and even perhaps controversial outfit choice. Moreover, she donned a sheer see-through dress adorned with many black “A’s” to adorn her skin, as well as added black floral pieces around her legs, arms, and chest. The big detail is a larger black flower on Caresha’s face that covers most of her mouth, eyes, and nose, but leaves one circle completely open for her to peer with her right eye through. It’s a pretty eclectic and stylish combo, and one that pairs well for someone who might not want to be fully in the public eye due to the scandal involving Diddy.

Regardless, that’s just an unconfirmed and purely speculative interpretation of what Yung Miami’s dress could mean or symbolize. “When you in witness protection but still got to go to events to pay the rent,” one user joked about the Diddy situation. But beyond that, folks were pretty split when it comes to how to feel about this outfit. You can check out the comments section of the Instagram post below to see what people had to say about it.

Yung Miami Turns Heads At NYFW With Odd Dress

Elsewhere, Yung Miami is making some really big moves in other areas apart from fashion, one of which is her interpersonal online relationships. She has clashed with a few different folks on social media, with DJ Akademiks being one of her biggest thorns. But it seems like they might bury the hatchet soon, as they apparently agreed to do an interview together for the former City Girl’s podcast Caresha Please. We don’t know what this convo would even look like, nor whether or not it would be amicably successful, but it would definitely be an interesting one.

However, this doesn’t mean that Yung Miami is cool with Ak’s former Everyday Struggle cohost, Joe Budden. He recently eviscerated her on his podcast due to how she made fun of him getting his gold “Pump It Up” plaque over 20 years after it released. It was a pretty ugly clap-back, but it was a pretty petty provocation. All is fair in love and war… And fashion, in this case.

DJ Akademiks Eviscerates Yung Miami For Making Fun Of Joe Budden’s Gold Plaque

DJ Akademiks had some strong words for Yung Miami following her viral clowning of Joe Budden’s “Pump It Up” going Gold two decades after its release. Moreover, the streamer took issue with her laughter, saying that Budden has benefitted more from his career than she ever will from her own. Also, Ak posited that the former City Girl doesn’t even write any of her own lyrics, and that she shouldn’t be making fun of artists like this. In addition, he also said that she isn’t getting support from her label and that people don’t want to write for her anymore.

Elsewhere, this is what DJ Akademiks said of Yung Miami’s alleged involvement in her former boo Diddy’s legal situation. “With all due respect, you are a pretty girl,” he posited on his livestream. “But there’s a lot of pretty girls. Beauty, especially seeing all these girls get lip fillers, they’re wearing fake hair. That ain’t their hair, right? They get some implants, they put their t***ies up to their neck.

DJ Akademiks Blasts Yung Miami For Ridiculing Joe Budden

“Like, it’s easy to create the idea of beauty that a man would be appealed by,” DJ Akademiks went on. “So what makes you special? Is it because you have some fame? No, Diddy’s messed with way more famous women than you. He had J. Lo, for God’s sakes. What makes you special? I’m going to tell you. If you disagree with me, it’s because you don’t know no n***as in the industry. Because I talk to these n***as. Like, what is it about this girl?

“You know what they say?” DJ Akademiks finalized. “A chick like Yung Miami… She do everything. Put it like this: self-respect is the kryptonite of rich n***as. Women: self-respect is the kryptonite of rich n***as. They don’t want to be around you when you’re saying, ‘Ah, I’m not doing that.’ The women who are in the game, they know this, too. If you want to get in the game, first, you got to hit that plateau of how good you look. Once you’re above the bar on how good you look, how far you go with these men in the industry will revolve around how little you say ‘No.’”

Yung Miami Laughs At Joe Budden’s “Pump It Up” Plaque And Prompts A Shady Response

Joe Budden recently received his official Gold plaque from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for “Pump It Up.” His biggest commercial hit came out 21 years ago, and though it’s a late arrival, it’s a celebratory one nonetheless. However, this became an easy target for the Slaughterhouse MC’s haters, as many folks online made fun of this development. In fact, even Yung Miami (formerly of the City Girls) tweeted out some crying-laughing emojis in response to this. While it’s unclear whether she meant to disrespect him with this post, he certainly took it as such.

“It would be too easy…..” Joe Budden tweeted in response to Yung Miami’s laughter. “Maybe tmw lol…” he added in another tweet responding to a fan who asked him to let loose on her. For those unaware, Budden has been previously critical of Caresha in the public eye, such as commenting on her recent expressions concerning the Diddy scandal. Specifically, he thinks that he threw her City Girls partner JT under the bus with her comments and instead had sympathy for the disgraced hip-hop mogul despite his confirmed and alleged crimes.

Joe Budden’s Responses To Yung Miami

Of course, what Joe Budden is referring to with these tweets is that Yung Miami is no commercial juggernaut either, as evidenced by his thoughts on the City Girls’ very poor album sales last year. “I need to have that number confirmed,” he said on his podcast about their alleged 6K first week debut for RAW, which was actually 10K. Budden questioned this discrepancy, and wasn’t critical of the duo at all but rather of their label, the system that quantified these numbers, and their behind-the-scenes struggles. “It still sounds unbelievable to me. I’m with you as far as how they counted that. Maybe it’s the pure album sales. Somebody was trying to hurt them during their release.”

Meanwhile, speaking of record label and music business nonsense, Joe Budden also recently spoke on Drake’s licensing deal. He thinks that far too many people falsely believe that Drizzy has a lot of freedom in this UMG partnership. While those details and considerations are well beyond the scope of accessible information for most music listeners, that murky water is exactly what should inspire this skepticism. We’ll see if Joe has any more thoughts on his Gold plaque and on these conversations.

Playboi Carti Seems To Shoot His Shot With Yung Miami By Posting Her On His IG Story

It seems like Playboi Carti is back outside, as he recently took to his Instagram Story with an odd and tantalizing post that has many fans scratching their heads. Moreover, new album hype is once again on the cards following an explosive Summer Smash headlining set and many prior weeks of radio silence. But the Atlanta rapper didn’t provide any update on this: just an Instagram repost of Yung Miami’s latest post that features the femcee sitting in pink. It’s unclear whether this is a cryptic hint at something to come or whether he’s just shooting his shot with the former City Girl.

Furthermore, it’s the latter possibility of this Playboi Carti shoutout that interests some fans out there thanks to Yung Miami’s previous relationship with Diddy. That obviously took a big pause as a result of the multiple lawsuits against the Bad Boy mogul for alleged sexual harassment, abuse, and sex trafficking, claims that even roped Caresha in, too. As such, this takes on a bit more of a scandalous connotation, but it’s obviously nothing to write home about other than a simple random IG repost. After all, it seems like the Puff connection is nothing more than an unfortunate coincidence at press time, something that more legal scrutiny and case development could potentially change.

Elsewhere, Playboi Carti’s last rap-related link-up or reference point was his time with NAV in the club back in April of this year. We don’t really know what his relationships and connections look like in the rap world, especially outside of his collaborative circle. Beyond “King Vamp,” it’s always interesting to guess at what artists are like with each other from the outside looking in. It’s a futile and often misguided effort, but a curious one nonetheless.

As for Yung Miami, she and JT are no longer the City Girls, but they both appear on Camila Cabello’s upcoming album. Many fans wondered why they appeared separately on the album’s tracklist, hinting that they will no longer use the duo’s moniker even in collaboration. Hopefully they continue to make music together, with or without that name. We’ll see as well whether or not Playboi Carti and the Florida multi-hyphenate collaborate or what this repost could possibly mean.

Yung Miami Praises Rihanna As Her Role Model, Fans Question The Comparison

Yung Miami caught some undue flack from the Internet recently, all for her aspirational goals to one day become one of the music industry’s billionaires. Moreover, she recently reacted to the launch of Rihanna’s new haircare line and remarked how this represents what she wants to do with her own career as far as scale and reach. “Who I aspire to be!!!! That bag & status different!!” the former City Girl shared on her Instagram Story, and in the comments section of the Instagram post covering this down below, you’ll see some skeptical and defensive reactions alike. “How can yall have anything negative to say about this?! Shes inspired!” one fan wrote, with another adding “Whew Chile…we got a ton of work to do! [crying-laughing emoji].”

Furthermore, most people who made fun of Yung Miami’s aspirations referred more heavily to her alleged involvement in the Diddy scandal. For those unaware, a lawsuit named her as someone allegedly hired as a “sex worker” by Sean Combs, and also included claims of drug trafficking, assault, abuse, and more. Of course, most of these claims are still unverified and unclear under a court of law, especially those relating to the Florida MC. Still, it’s definitely not a good look for someone who wants to be a mogul one day.

Yung Miami Aspires To Be Like Rihanna: See Comments For Reactions

Regardless, Yung Miami is looking forward to what the rest of her career, brand partnerships, and business ventures bring, especially in this new, exciting chapter of her life. “I had to really get back in my bag,” she told Complex of the City Girls split with JT. “People had just been talking to me crazy… So just going through s**t really motivated me to get in the studio and make music. I think when the City Girls album [RAW] just dropped, and it didn’t do too well, and we was just trying to do our press run. The whole rollout of the album was just so bad because we was just in two different spaces.

“We older now, and she [JT] was doing her own thing,” Yung Miami continued. “She on the West Coast, I’m in Miami. I’m doing my own thing. And I felt like naturally, when she doing her own thing, it just worked for her. And when I’m doing my own thing, it worked for me. But when we get together as a group, it just wasn’t connecting. It just wasn’t working no more.”

Yung Miami Served With Lawsuit At Her Houston Pool Party, Has Unbothered Reaction

Yung Miami hasn’t said much about her alleged involvement in the Diddy accusations, but it turns out that she apparently has other legal issues to deal with. Moreover, a lawsuit server recently recorded the before and during process of serving her with a copyright infringement lawsuit from the “Act Bad” brand at her recent pool party in Houston. “Okay,” you can presumably hear the City Girl exclaim after he handed her the papers and quickly walked away. Many folks in the comments section of the video below remarked how this is questionable recording from a process server, and whether or not it should constitute significant action against him from his employers or otherwise.

Furthermore, it’s likely that she will let this roll off her shoulder as she has with the Diddy situation -– at least personally, as her legal team was quick to act. However, fans also want Yung Miami to respond to another situation: that of her City Girls partner JT. For those unaware, she and GloRilla had a pretty nasty social media spat recently, one with no resolution at press time despite less shots. Many feel that Miami should stick up for her rap teammate, but this is a situation in which folks probably don’t need others to step in to bodyguard.

Elsewhere, Caresha also spent a lot of time recently with other peers in the femcee world. For example, following a challenge, she and Sexyy Redd engaged in a twerk-off to the latter’s newest single, “Get It Sexyy.” While there are no new Yung Miami collaborations on the cards at press time (aside from a Skilla Baby cut), it’s likely that she will continue on her solo streak as of late and come through with more activity this year. After all, it’s not like controversy or online discussion ever hampered her efforts in the past.

Meanwhile, what do you think about this situation? Do you think the Florida native will address any of these legal battles herself soon, or will you be content with bumping that new song with Skilla? However you may feel, let us know down in the comments section below. Also, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Yung Miami.

DJ Akademiks Blames Yung Miami For Diddy Lawsuit, Calls Her “Caresha Maxwell”

Everyone’s getting their wild, shocked, and indignant reactions out there concerning the latest sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy. This time, it’s from a former male employee who made damning claims about drug-fueled parties with underage people and various claims of sexual assault against others. Moreover, these include Cuba Gooding Jr. and Yung Miami’s cousin, and on this last point, DJ Akademiks wasted no time. After hearing about the news, the media personality immediately took to Twitter to unleash a firestorm on the City Girl, or as he called her, “Caresha Maxwell.”

“Its Yung Miami fault Diddy back in the News,” DJ Akademiks tweeted on Sunday night (February 26) about his rival Caresha. “I Told Her to STFU and she wouldn’t stop. now look a n***a making claims vs Diddy. @YungMiami305 stay in a *** place n STFU! you getting ya sugar diddy into to much problems! Yung Miami Called Out By Security Claiming She Ignored Them

The way the musicians and celebrities at large interact with the general public can often be heavily scrutinized. Sometimes the public’s entire perception of an artist can come from how they treat the everyday people they interact with. That’s why a new video of a security officer from this year’s Super Bowl calling out Yung Miami has so many people talking.

The claim was made in a TikTok by a woman who appears to have worked as security at the Super Bowl. The video features a compilation of videos she took while working the event that show off some of her interactions with celebrities. At the end of the video though, she calls out Yung Miami by name. She tells a story of trying to interact with her politely and being walled off completely. She then compares Miami’s behavior to some of the other celebrities that she feels were nicer to her. Check out the entire video of her footage and explanation below.

Yung Miami Called Rude In New TikTok

In the comments, fans surprisingly come to Miami’s defense. “They don’t owe y’all nothing and if you security you need to be working and not fanning out” one of the top comments on the post reads. It isn’t even the most robust refutation of the video though. Miami herself jumped in the comments to defend what happened. “How tf I’m suppose to hear you if one I’m on the phone. 2. You WHISPERED that’s my “good sis Caresha” like you’re literally whispering in the video! where in the video or where’s the audio of you trying to get my attention. How much they paying yall for this hate train I wanna sign up?!” her response reads.

Yung Miami dropped her newest album as one half of City Girls last year. Unfortunately, the album didn’t perform as well commercially as many of their fans were expecting. What do you think of the security officer’s claim in their new TikTok? Do you agree with fans that Yung Miami doesn’t owe anyone anything? Let us know in the comment section below.

Yung Miami Gives Pregnancy Tests & More Lewd Items For Birthday Trip Guests

Yung Miami turns 30 tomorrow (Sunday, February 11), and it looks like she’s going all out to celebrate. Moreover, a picture surfaced of “goodie bags” she prepared for her friends on her birthday trip, including pregnancy tests and some deodorant for “freshin up b***h.” This resulted in some split reactions on social media between folks who enjoyed this lewd but light-hearted fun and other who think the City Girl is pushing it. “So y’all heard of a 30 year old having a Dirty 30? The people yall be around can’t be that boring,” one user commented under coverage of this picture. Another added, “pushing 30 doing s**t like this smh.”

Of course, this isn’t the only reason that the Florida native has for celebrating these days. She recently released the “50/50 Freestyle,” on which she took aim at DJ Akademiks and barred up a little more than what we’re used to hearing from her. As such, Yung Miami seems to be building up for something big soon, or this was just a way for her to vent some feelings out in musical form. Either way, we’re here for it, because who’s downtrodden enough to deny a celebrity some fun?

Yung Miami’s… Preventive Birthday Trip Goodie Bag

In addition to all this, she’s also doing a lot to push her “Yams era” these days, which fans are theorizing could be a new album rollout or other interesting endeavors or partnerships. Not only that, but Yung Miami even took inspiration from Deion Sanders for her recent “Yams era” post doubling down on this phase. It was a bizarre place to pull from, but a nice crossover to see in this hyper-connected media age. Maybe this isn’t the end of the rapper’s references and extensions to other pop culture areas, as she and her duo partner JT get more and more prominent as solo creatives while still building their legacy as a team.

Meanwhile, the Caresha Please podcast is also adding to this extracurricular record, and looks like it’ll continue to be the case. We can’t wait to see what this “Yams era” holds, and we hope that Miami has a great time on her 30th birthday trip. After all, she made sure that everyone was safe and prepared for it. On that note, keep checking in with HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Yung Miami and the City Girls.

Yung Miami & Southside Party Together, Ironically Bump “F My Baby Dad”

On Sexyy Red’s “Bow Bow Bow,” she proclaims: “F**k my baby dad,” and although Yung Miami loves the song, it seems like she doesn’t quite agree. Moreover, she recently hit up the Opium club in Atlanta, Georgia with none other than Southside, with whom she shares a four-year-old daughter named Summer. Not only that, but they actually seemed to have a great time together, with the City Girl singing the aforementioned chorus to the producer as he laughs it off. Despite the soundtrack choice being almost too perfect for some drama, it’s even better to see these two just have a great time.

Happy 4th Birthday to my life-sized Barbie,” Yung Miami captioned her Instagram post for Summer earlier this year. “I love you so much my little superstar [heart emojis].” “Happy birthday my beautiful daughter,” Southside wrote in a loving and celebratory message of his own. “I love [you] so much, I don’t care what’s going [on] you have the power to brighten my day. I love you Summer, [today] is your day.” After the family spent some quality time together for Christmas, we’re glad to see those positive vibes rolled over into 2024.

Southside & Yung Miami Turn Up In Atlanta: Watch

As for their “business only” relationship, Southside explained how he and Yung Miami reached a healthy, happy, and amicable co-parent bond. “I’m proud of them like cr*zy,” he expressed of the City Girls on The Bootleg Kev Podcast. “The key to a cordial co-parenting relationship is just no sex. Cannot have sex with your baby mamas. You can’t have– I got a girlfriend too, so you can’t have sex with your baby mamas [as if it was] with a girlfriend. Very cordial and friendly.”

Meanwhile, despite this healthy relationship, it’s clear that it was also the source of tension for a couple of interactions the beatmaker had with other stars as of late. For example, he appeared to call out Diddy, who Caresha was very tight with before… well, whatever caused her distance before a wave of sexual assault allegations against him most likely sealed it in stone. We’ll see if the former couple stays on a happy path, though. On that note, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Yung Miami and Southside.
