Model and actress Cara Delevingne has seemingly weighed in on the drama surrounding Drake’s new track “Fear Of Heights”. The song has been seen as a diss track against Rihanna, who was once was very close with Drake. First, Delevingne liked a Shade Room post that was a repost of the following tweet – “Drake is a multimillionaire who can’t keep a woman, Rihanna just had two kids back to back. One of them got trash box and I don’t think it’s Rihanna.” Furthermore, Delevingne commented on the post with “trash”.

Drake and Rihanna were once thick as thieves and even reportedly dated on and off between 2009 and 2018. Both of Drake’s first two times hitting #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 came as a feature on a Rihanna track (“What’s My Name?” and “Work”). However, that seems like ancient history given “Fear Of Heights”, which appears to reference her 2016 album Anti multiple times as well as taking direct shots at Rihanna and her long-time partner A$AP Rocky. The track led Paris Goebel, Rihanna’s primary choreographer, to repost an image of Drake awkwardly kissing a woman to her Instagram story.

In recent months, the model has been at the center of concerns after disturbing images surfaced online and reports about her strange behavior took over social media. Those “sources” were popping up from one outlet to another to offer anonymous insight into what was going on behind the scenes. This week, Delevingne’s Vogue cover feature was released, and inside, she speaks openly about her road to recovery.

At the time of her interview, the model was approximately four months sober. “If you have problems going into this industry, they will only get magnified and exacerbated. I put myself in danger in those moments because I don’t care about my life.” She revisited that time at Burning Man. “I would climb anything and jump off stuff…it felt feral. It’s a scary thing to the people around you who love you.”

Cara Delevingne Talks Her Controversial Night With Megan Thee Stallion And Doja Cat At The Billboard Awards

Back in May, Cara Delevingne stole the show at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, whether she was taking not-so-great photos of Doja Cat or having enthusiastic interactions with Megan Thee Stallion, which led to accusations of her “fetishizing Black women” and just being a bit too much. Now, Delevingne has spoken about that fateful night on The Tonight Show.

During an interview yesterday, Jimmy Fallon showed a photo of the Only Murders In The Building actor holding the train of Megan’s dress on the BBMAs red carpet and asked for the story there. Delevingne noted Megan invited her to join her at the show and help her memorize an acceptance speech, but Delevingne didn’t think she’d end up being a noticeable part of the proceedings. On the red carpet, Delevingne noticed Megan struggling with her train, so she helped out by moving it around for her.

She then spoke about that aforementioned Doja photo (not directly but seemingly so based on context), saying, “I walked in and I had a seat in the front row. I’m like, ‘I’m not meant to be here.’ So I was like, ‘Hi!’ And then I was getting on the floor, taking pictures. That’s what what I do because I’m like, I don’t know, I was just really excited. I was like, ‘Let me get my angle, guys, I’m a photographer!’”

She added, “I was living my best life, but people found it a bit odd, which… people find me odd, but that’s me. No shame!”

This ranged from laying on the floor to take a picture of Doja Cat, DJ Khaled, and Fat Joe that ended up being a pretty low-quality photo, to playing with Megan Thee Stallion’s dress on the red carpet. Though Delevingne is practically known for her weird, eccentric presence, she was accused of fetishizing Black women.

In a surprising turn of events, Azealia Banks, after having a fan reach out and ask about the situation, came to Delevingne’s defense on Twitter.

She wrote, “Cara doesn’t have an obsession with with black women. It’s that upper crust English society full of fake white and jealous white hoes who were never as charismatic as she is that made fake friendships, tried sabotaging her every which way she moved and the intense jealousy. Of her older and extremely plain looking sister poppy that always made Cara feel sad and lonely. Poppy would always say mad back handed slick sh*t and tell Cara’s business to people in the industry and I always remember Cara literally traveling the world completely alone 4 years.”

She continued: “Lots of English society/media took advantage of that and there were plenty of times I would just hide Cara in my apartment for days at a time to make sure she got some deep sleep and some actual food and wasn’t just thrown out amongst the wolves like that. Everyone always wanted to use Cara for what they could get from her, and luckily for her – none of them got anything substantial. deep down I could tell she was (like me) so used to being told ur a bad person that she began to believe those things about her self and go out of her. Way to please people who saw her as an easy route to some fashion/British society clout… all of which they fumbled in the grand scheme of things. The 2022 Billboard Music Awards went down last night and if you had to pick one non-musician in attendance who stole the show, it’s probably Cara Delevingne. It seemed like she was all over the place last night, including the floor when she laid down to snap a photo of Doja Cat, Fat Joe, and DJ Khaled.
