Boosie Badazz Says NBA Youngboy Shouldn’t Have Collaborated with Lil Nas X: “We Represent a Certain Group”

Boosie Badazz Says NBA Youngboy Shouldn't Have Collaborated with Lil Nas X: "We Represent a Certain Group"

In July, the first official collaboration between Lil Nas X and NBA Youngboy happened in “Late To Da Party (F*CK BET).” The single also obviously served as a diss toward BET after Nas X didn’t receive any BET Award nominations.

Returning to Vlad TV to get everything off his chest for this month, Boosie Badazz states he was not a fan of Youngboy hopping on the track with Lil Nas.

“If ever see YoungBoy, I’ll tell him how I feel about that,” Boosie said. “I thought YoungBoy was like me. We represent a certain group of people and what we do affect those people. That’s why I always try to stay a hundred. I thought he was like me in a certain, a lot of ways. I don’t want to talk about it on camera how I feel about it, but if I ever see him, I’ll tell him how I feel.”

The relationship between Boosie and Youngboy has been a bit fragile lately, so it may not be best if he approaches the rapper about the single.

Boosie Badazz was one of many dissed by NBA Youngboy on his “I Hate YoungBoy” single. “Feel like Boosie don’t even like me, bitch, don’t call my phone, fuck you,” the young Louisiana star rapped. Once again sitting with DJ Vlad, Boosie revealed why he did not reach out to Youngboy and dissed him on a song instead.

“Because I don’t wanna kill him,” Boosie said. “So, I just wanted to say what I had to say. I ain’t really promote the song. I just wanted to say what I had to say. I just felt like, I’ll say what I had to say over the mic and that’s it, you know? Like I said, my first and last time speaking on it. I was gon’ say what I had to say, and that’s it.”

In October 2021, Boosie had beef with Lil Nas X and went on a full-on attack of Lil Nas X in a homophobic rant and suggested Lil Nas commit suicide.

“STOP TROLLING ME F—– LOL!! U A WHOLE B—- PLAYING WITH A GANGSTA SMH U CAN KEEP SUCKING D— N GETTIN F—ED N YOUR A– N PEACE N #uhateyourself I WOULD TOO IF I WAS YOU LOL NASx IF YOU #commitsuicide YOU WOULD DO THIS WORLD A HUGE FAVOR NOBODY WANTS U HERE,” Badazz tweeted.

Among those who saw Boosie’s words online was Lil Nas X’s father, Robert Stafford, who had words of his own for the “Wipe Me Down” rapper.

“How the hell you’re a gangsta rapper promoting drugs, gun violence, degrading women and getting high every video talking about you’re for the kids man sit your old man looking ass down,” Stafford wrote on his Instagram story.

Boosie Insists The Brittney Griner Situation Would Be Much Different If It Was Taylor Swift In Prison

Yesterday’s (August 4) news was not good for Brittney Griner: The WNBA star was found guilty on drug charges in Russia and sentenced to nine years in prison. Ever since the basketball player was first detained in March, there has been outrage about the situation, with a new wave of it coming after yesterday’s ruling. Boosie Badazz in particular had a passionate reaction, in which he pointed fingers.

In a video shared after the news broke, Boosie implies race is an issue when it comes to the United States’ efforts to free Griner, using a Taylor Swift comparison to make his point. He says, “How the hell this girl get nine years for a weed pen… and the USA ain’t doing nothing about it? You tell me that! If that was Taylor Swift, it’d be a peace treaty right now! They’d be drafting to go to war!”

He then set his sights on Vice President Kamala Harris, continuing, “What that show for Black women in the United States?! And the Vice President: as a Black woman, you supposed to be on the front line! You supposed to be on the front line to get that Black woman out of jail! Nine damn years! Y’all f*cked up in this world!”

Boosie Badazz heard the news about Brittney Griner’s 9-year Russian prison sentence and is speaking out.

“How the hell this girl get nine years for a weed pen?” Boosie said. “And the USA ain’t doing nothing about it. If that was Taylor Swift, there’d be a peace treaty right now. They’d be drafting to go to war. For a weed pen. Nine years!”

He added, “What that show for Black women in the United States? And the Vice-President as a Black woman, you supposed to be on the frontline to get that Black woman out of jail.”

After being convicted guilty of narcotics charges in a Russian court, Griner was given a 9-year prison sentence. Griner, 31, pleaded guilty to narcotics charges and has been imprisoned in Russia since February, where officials claim they discovered a vape cartridge in her luggage containing less than a gram of cannabis oil.

The White House is attempting to negotiate a “prisoner swap” that would involve a Russian arms dealer who is currently imprisoned in the United States, with the two-time Olympic gold medalist at its heart. Griner has been accused of being used as a pawn by the Kremlin.

A Video Of Boosie Going Off On Police During A Traffic Stop Is Going Viral

It’s been a big week (month, really) for rappers going off on police officers. Maybe it’s a little bit of payback for the seemingly constant surveillance and harassment hip-hop artists have endured from the authorities, or perhaps the outcry against prosecutors for focusing on rappers’ lyrics in cases like those against Young Thug and YoungBoy Never Broke Again has emboldened them. Either way, we’ve seen a growing boom in videos of rappers reacting to being arrested — or intervening in others’ arrests — and the latest to inadvertently join this trend is Baton Rouge’s Boosie Badazz.

In a video currently going viral on Twitter, Boosie can be seen handcuffed during a traffic stop in Georgia and really laying into the officers detaining him. “I can’t be going through this though, bro,” he exclaims. “It’s harassment, it’s every day. I can’t even live. I moved to the country to f*ckin’ live, bro.” He also seems to threaten the officers with both physical altercation and legal action, while pointing out that they seemingly have no good reason for pulling him over in the first place. “Car’s not stolen, registration is right, the tag is right,” he says. “You f*cking motherf*ckers are targeting my vehicles.”

According to TMZ, the original source of the video, Boosie and his driver were pulled over for tinted windows and concealed tags. The officers claim they smelled marijuana, searched the car, and found a plastic bag with weed in it. Eventually, he was cited and the weed was confiscated but he was released.

The video doesn’t paint Boosie in the best light, despite having a legitimate claim about possible harassment, but at least he’s yelling about someone actually bothering him — unlike the other times he’s gone viral in recent years.

Boosie Badazz Defends Tupac Against T-Pain’s Claim He Would Get “Ate Up” Lyrically in 2022

22-Year-Old Arrested For Fatal Shooting at Boosie Badazz Video Shoot

Boosie Badazz isn’t having any 2Pac slander. Especially from T-Pain. After Pain stated that 2pac would get “ate up” lyrically in today’s rap era. Boosie hit Twitter and sounded off.

“2Pac was a great lyricist,” Boosie said. “U probably wouldn’t understand him if u never been through the struggles that this world brings.”

He continued,”@TPAIN I disagree the lyrics in songs these days last a couple years n there gone because they don’t have meaning. The lyrics don’t touch your heart.”

In a separate message, Boosie blasted fans who attempt to “shit” on Pac and revealed that they wouldn’t have the heart to step to him if he was alive.

T-Pain recently provided one of the biggest hot takes of the year in a recent interview with DJ Akademiks. The “I’m Sprung” artist said that if 2Pac were alive today, he would have gotten “ate the f*ck up” by todays rappers, and probably would have gotten killed sooner because of social media.

“‘Pac would’ve gotten killed sooner [if social media existed] and he would’ve gotten his ass ate the f*ck up lyrically,” T-Pain said. “Lyricism-wise, ‘Pac would’ve got ridiculously murdered. Bro, ‘Pac was a crazy lyricist in our time because ain’t nobody else have no platform.”

After Pain’s comments went viral, Boosie caught wind of the remarks and decided to take to Twitter to refute the controversial takes.

“2Pac was a great lyricist ‼U probably wouldn’t understand him if u never been through the struggles that this world brings‼ @TPAIN I disagree ✅the lyrics n songs these days last a couple years n there gone because they don’t have meaning .The lyrics don’t touch your heart,” Boosie tweeted.

Boosie went on to say that if Pac was still alive, rappers and other critics would think twice before trying to slander his name or disrespect him. “I dont like when y’all sh*t on 2Pac. If he was living YALL wouldn’t step r talk about PAC n them death row n*ggas.”

Boosie then wondered why Pac’s music still hits even nearly 30 years later while people’s other favorite rappers music does not. “Why PAC music still hittin n yo favorite lyricist Not?” Boosie tweeted.

T-Pain has not responded to Boosie’s comments.

“[He told me], ‘Man we’re the last ones left at this shit.’ That’s what I always remember,” Boosie said. “That conversation, me and him getting high in the back of the studio, and he was just really making me feel like he understood me when he told, like, ‘We the last ones left with this shit. We’re the last ones standing up. We’re the last ons speaking.’ That’s the best conversation that I had with him.”

As for Nip’s murderer, Bossie said that he wishes something worse happen to him last week when he was beaten in jail.

“I was hoping I’d hear something different. I mean, it was a pretty good job. You know, that’s a boss. I would have much rather heard something worse,” Boosie said.
