Drake is easily one of the greatest artists of his generation. Overall, he has broken numerous sales records and streaming records. Furthermore, he has topped the charts with every album. He has more hits than some of the most legendary artists in the world, and he continues to rack up accolades. At this point, Drake and his legacy are fully cemented. Not to mention, he has recently been on tour with J. Cole. This tour was even joined by Sexyy Red and Lil Wayne, whom fans have been excited to watch live.

As you can imagine, getting tickets to a Drake show is now easy task. In certain cities, these tickets sell out immediately. Moreover, on the resale market, the tickets are extremely expensive. It has even gotten to the point where floor tickets are going for over $1000 USD. Fans have been going to extreme lengths to get their hands on some tickets, including the fans below. As you can see, a couple of women went to Drake’s latest show and held up a sign saying they engaged in sex work to afford their seats. Of course, we are saying that in much less vulgar terms.

We can’t corroborate the stories of these women, however, we hope they were joking. After all, that seems like a dangerous thing to do just to see Drake. Having said that, fans have been bringing all sorts of wild signs to his tour. On numerous occasions, the artist has even acknowledged the signs. There have even been some monetary giveaways, and it has been a pretty good time. Hopefully, Drizzy ends up taking a break after this tour is over. He’s earned it.

Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin, Future, and even Rick Ross are coming after him. However, it is Kendrick’s diss that people are talking the most about. Some are wondering if Drizzy is going to respond. Based on some of the things he said over the weekend, it appears as though Drake is ducking the smoke, at least for now. Of course, this could certainly change especially with how fast he is at turning around diss tracks.

In the meantime, Drake seems to be surrounding himself with the good people in his life. One of those individuals is none other than Sexyy Red. Drizzy has been a huge fan of the St. Louis MC. He’s put her on his tour on two separate occasions. Meanwhile, she was featured on the track “Rich Baby Daddy” which also comes with a SZA feature. Needless to say, these two are a dynamic duo that fans are learning to adore. In the Instagram post below, Drake showed some love to Sexyy with a pair of photos in which the two are cozied up together in the club.

Lil Wayne Joins Drake Onstage In Florida For “It’s All A Blur – Big As The What?” Tour With J. Cole

The duo has since gone on to perform in various cities across the U.S. and has already surprised fans with various high-profile special guests. Most recently, Drake brought out one of his most notable collaborators of all time, Lil Wayne.

The exciting moment took place last night (March 23) at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL. Needless to say, fans were thrilled. In clips from the evening, the duo is seen performing their 2011 Tha Carter IV cut “She Will.” Lil Wayne even blessed fans with his 2008 Tha Carter III hit, “Lollipop.”

Drake brought a dog-like mascot on stage during the latest stop on the It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? tour in New Orleans and fans are freaking out to learn there was a person inside the costume. When an attendee shared a clip of the mascot on TikTok, users couldn’t believe anyone would be willing to take the job.

“New level glazing has been reached,” one user joked. Another wrote: “You could not pay me to do this for someone idc who it is.” Others said they’d be more willing. “Easy money if I just gotta sit there,” one fan commented. The dog is a clear reference to Drake’s most recent album, For All The Dogs.

Lil Wayne Will Join Drake For Two Tour Stops In April

When Drake and J. Cole announced their Big As The What? tour, some fans were disappointed that the latter wouldn’t make it for some shows. However, those who can relate got a pretty killer replacement to make up for this loss for the trek’s newly announced and final two stops in New Jersey. Moreover, in addition to Lil Durk, the one and only Lil Wayne will hit Newark’s Prudential Center with his Young Money partner to close out the journey for two nights in a row on April 4 and 5. Many die-hards in Jersey reacted with much excitement, whereas others outside the area lamented missing out on this opportunity.

Furthermore, presale tickets go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday, March 6) on Drake’s website for Cash App card members, whereas the general sale begins on Friday (March 8). However, it seems like Lil Wayne might pop out for other concerts with his desired (and purely hypothetical) Super Bowl halftime show co-performer, too. For example, the UBS Arena in Long Island posited via X that he will also perform at the March 28 and 29 tour stops there. Also, AP reporter Colby Guy suggested that Weezy will also guest on the Florida, and Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center stated that he’ll also stop in their state for a Big As The What? show.

Moreover, a fan in Kansas City got a huge blessing and a cathartic moment of tribute on his show on Saturday (March 2). Moreover, the 6ix God received a note onstage from a nearby concert-goer who asked him if he could pay off his deceased mother’s house.

“This is it?” Drake asked the fan who passed him a note explaining their situation. “You said, ‘Pay off my mom’s house, rest in peace.’ Your mom passed away? Alright, and you owe… Oh, this is the outstanding balance right here. This is a lot of money right here. But you know what? I’ma pay off your momma’s house for you. That’s a lot of money right here. That’s 106 bands right here, but I’m gonna pay out of my pocket, that’s going to come from me. Rest in peace to your momma, rest in peace to your momma.”

We wonder what hoops Drake and his team have to go through in order to get this money to the right person, and that presumably difficult process is just another reason to admire the effort. A mother and daughter tragically lost their lives as they made their way home from the Missouri concert when a car struck them on the street. The Toronto entertainer paid tribute to their memory during a Buffalo stop.

For instance, there is a new clip making the rounds on Twitter this morning. In the video, Drake addresses the crowd and has a heart-to-heart with them. This is something he does at all of his shows, and it has always gotten a positive reception. This week, however, fans have been waiting for him to address one controversy, in particular. For the purposes of decorum, we will not be explaining what that controversy is. Already, the duo is making headlines for their tour outfits, props, announcements, and more. Of course, their onstage antics have also gotten quite a bit of attention. In a new clip, for example, J. Cole reacts to an audience member throwing their demo tape at him, which crashed onto the stage and burst out of its case.

An audible gasp is then heard from the rest of the crowd, though J. Cole just calmly walked past the CD, later kicking it off the stage. “N***a threw his demo up here,” he said. “It’s 2024, n***a. USB is okay.” While some critical commenters think he should’ve given the demo a listen, others suspect that J. Cole just didn’t want to trip over it during the show.

Many also note that there are better ways to promote your music these days, even though J. Cole himself is no stranger to handing out demos. Turns out that he actually referenced this incident while onstage, and in the clip below, you can see him acknowledge the fan in the crowd who screamed to take credit.

Furthermore, this parallels the wild fan interactions that Drake experienced during his 2023 concerts. While he certainly has more commercial and universal appeal when it comes to fanbases, few die-hards support their GOAT more than J. Cole fans. As such, it’s heartening to see him acknowledge this outpouring of love, especially as one of the best rappers of the 2010s decade still going strong.
