Taylor Swift said it best herself: Karma is God who takes all of her friends to the proverbial summit. So when the universe made it clear that Taylor Swift could never star in a successful movie (Exhibit A, B, C), she decided to take Hollywood’s neck by her perfectly polished fingers and wrangle it until she would get herself a box office hit. So she decided to release a concert movie!
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tourhits theaters this weekend and the movie is already off to a successful start. The concert film is expected to make $150 million to $200 million in its opening weekend. This puts Taylor up there with Barbie, which secured $162 on its opening weekend alongside that other movie. And at two hours and 48 minutes, it’s still shorter than Oppenheimer. And it features no men talking aggressively with intense eye contact!
Swift’s concert film will hit over 8,500 theaters in about 100 countries this Friday, and it’s important to note that the actual tour itself is only halfway done (she just wrapped up the South American leg) meaning we will be enduring another year and a half of this stuff around the rest of the world. So get used to it! And maybe consider acting Swift in like……..a good movie.
As for now, when you Google “Taylor Swift Movie,” a list of her worst career accomplishments is being drowned out by the millions of dollars she is making from her tour movie, so maybe it will all work out in the end. Karma is that guy on the screen, am I right?!!
Blueface took to the internet to defend himself. His baby mother Jaidyn Alexis has recently launched her rap career and just put out another single called “Barbie.” The single follows a recent string of other tracks such as “Workout,” “Stewie,” and “Post opp.” The songs have been a source of discussion for the internet each time they drop, and trolls have particularly been calling out her BBL with each video. However, Jaidyn’s latest song “Barbie” has been gaining traction due to some of the controversial things she’s rapping about in the song. Some of these things include having taken shots at Blueface’s other baby mother Chrisean. “Can’t keep him with a baby, should’ve asked me / How you movin’ but still can’t outlast me / Cook, clean, f**k, you can’t pass me / I’m in the front now, sis, get the back seat.“
However, what has stirred the pot even more are the allegations that Blueface is the mastermind behind Jaidyn’s lyrical content. Various individuals have accused him of ghostwriting her songs, suggesting that the lyrics are penned by him to deliver subtle messages aimed at Chrisean. One individual expressed their thoughts in the comment section on IG, writing, “The fact that u writing these lyrics for her to throw subliminal msgs at Chrisean is sad af, like u sure u moved on?” This comment highlights the belief that Blueface may be using Jaidyn’s music as a way to convey his feelings or address lingering issues from their past.
Meanwhile, Blueface has denied the claims of any ghostwriting. While singing the lyrics to Jaidyn’s “Barbie” song on his Instagram story today, “I’m a bad lil b***h and I’m snipped like a barbie. Hips, lips a**,” he says Jaidyn obviously wrote these lyrics. He proceeds to ask Jaidyn (who’s not visible in the camera), “Jaidyn! Tell them you wrote this s**t.” To which she responds, “That’s my s**t!” Blueface then doubles down on his sentiments.
“You really think I wrote that?” he asks the camera. “That’s disrespectful. Y’all callin a n***a zesty? Is that what it is? So if I wrote them lyrics that make me zesty cuh? Jaidyn, tell em you wrote it. I ain’t never been zesty.” While he insists on convincing the internet that Jaidyn wrote the song by herself, audiences still remain skeptical. “Now who tf told her she built like a Barbie blue please stop writing these songs,” commented someone else. What do you think of the song? Let us know on HNHH.
Say what you want about Jaidyn Alexis, the girl has seriously impressed us in terms of her hustle over the past few months. The “Stewie” rapper’s baby daddy, Blueface, revealed recently that the only reason he didn’t marry his high school sweetheart is due to her lack of support for his rap career. Years later, the pair have put their differences to the side as the Cr*zy In Love star invests his time and money into making Alexis a rap star in her own right.
After her aforementioned debut single, the mother of two returned with “Workout,” and more recently, “Post Opp.” The lyrics of those songs largely focused on the hateful comments trolls have made about Alexis’ BBL. Her latest release, “Barbie,” is similar in nature, and it may be some of the 25-year-old’s most confident work yet. She shared the single and video to commemorate her birthday on Monday (October 2), and so far, listeners seem to be loving what they hear.
Jaidyn Alexis and Her Girls Get to Twerking in Their “Barbie” Visual
“She keeps getting better. She’s got the whole [image] and she can actually articulate her words. No robotics in her flow,” one YouTube user wrote in the video’s comment section. “Okay this one is a banger! Jaidyn can flow, she came through on this one,” another person praised the birthday girl.
Tap into the salacious music video for Jaidyn Alexis’ “Barbie” single above. If you’re feeling it, be sure to add it to your playlist on Spotify/Apple Music. While the First Lady of MILF Music celebrates her birthday, Blueface’s other baby mama, Chrisean Rock, dropped off a heartwarming song and visual dedicated to her son earlier today. Check that out at the link below, and let us know which release you prefer in the comments.

Welcome to spooky season y’all, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce (Traylor) are already costume planning. According to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail, the newly-formed couple have plans for a joint costume referencing one of the biggest pop culture hits of the year. The couple are reportedly eyeing Barbie and Ken as their costume, inspired by the smash-hit Greta Gerwig film that dominated the box office over the summer.
Furthermore, they have already received their first party invitation. “I would love to invite them,” Heidi Klum told the British paper this week. “If they would just show up, I’m sure no one at the door will turn them away,” Klum added. The paper’s source also reports that the couple is interested. “Heidi Klum’s Halloween party is a very big option for them to attend, they haven’t made it 100 per cent, but since they have made things official in other ways that they have even started a relationship, they are really feeling it all out and they might want to make that night be the night they go, red carpet official.”
Meanwhile, things are quickly progressing in the Traylorverse. Swift is expected to attend the Chiefs road game against the New York Jets later today. Her appearance at the Chiefs’ home win against the Bears last weekend was likely a contributing factor to the game earning the highest viewership of the NFL’s third week. Furthermore, the NFL experienced a 63% increase in the 18-49 female demographic for the game. Meanwhile, Kelce jerseys saw a 400% sales spike and the tight end gained over 300,000 new social media followers.
Elsewhere, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been spotted engaging in some light PDA following the Chiefs game on Sunday night. Swift was seen with her arm around Kelce during a private team party at Prime Social in Kansas City. Kelce reportedly rented out the entire rooftop bar to party it up with friends, family, teammates, and his now-confirmed new boo. Elsewhere, one of Kelce’s exes has continued to go after the tight end. Maya Benberry recently doubled down on claims that Kelce was unfaithful. The pair briefly dated as Benberry won Kelce’s 2016 dating show. In a recent interview, Benberry called Kelce a “narcissist” before unironically saying that she “had him first”.
Earlier this year, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie became the definitive pop culture event of the summer. The film had an absolutely stacked cast and built up massive hype through its various trailers and promotions. That clearly paid off because the film broke all kinds of box office records. Part of that hype was no doubt the soundtrack for the film. Some of the biggest artists in the world like Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Khalid, and many more appeared in the tracklist of the film’s soundtrack.
One of the standout songs from the film and one of the biggest hits it produced is “Barbie World” from Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice. It was the pair’s second collaboration following Nicki hopping on a remix of Spice’s song “Princess Diana.” “Barbie World” has been on the Hot 100 for over 3 months now peaking at number 7. It’s still inside the top 15 as well, sitting at the 12th spot on the chart this week. Now in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, one of the film’s producers went into detail on how Nicki’s involvement was procured.
“From the very beginning, we had felt like having Nicki, who is Barbie essentially, be a part of this thing,” Barbie producer Kevin Weaver said. “We went to Greta and asked Greta if she would write a letter to Nicki and Greta wrote this beautiful note to Nicki and basically said like, ‘You are Queen Barb and when I set out to make this film, as I was thinking of artists, you were the first artist that really came to me as somebody that I felt was going to be an important collaborator and contributor to this.’
Clearly the letter worked not only to get Nicki Minaj on board, but Ice Spice as well. “Nicki hit us back and said that she was 100 percent in.” What do you think of Greta Gerwig’s letter to Nicki Minaj? Let us know in the comment section below.
Barbie is a blockbuster hit and people are looking to match their sneakers to the film. Even if you haven’t seen the movie, you know different shades of pink can be found throughout. We’ve compiled a list of 8 shoes that completely embody Barbie. While all these shoes may take on a similar color scheme, they are all unique in their own way – and they are all available for purchase at Stadium Goods right now.
First up, we’ve got an Adidas Gazelle. This pair features a translucent gum outsole and an all-pink suede upper. A purple heel tab adds a darker tone to the sneakers, and a textured pink tongue adds a small, classy detail. These sneakers feature the complete Barbie colorway with a durable sole that can handle wear. (Image via Stadium Goods)
Next up, a Nike women’s Dunk Low inspired by a plush toy teddy bear. This sneaker features another gum sole and a clean white midsole. The uppers feature a light pink mesh with slightly darker pink suede overlays. The Nike Swoosh is an off-white and this pair features a pink hangtag with a smaller Nike Swoosh in blue and orange. (Image via Stadium Goods)
The third pair on this list has, yet again, another rubber gum sole which will allow for durability and wearability. The uppers on this pair, as you can guess, are pink. A combination of mesh and suede constructs this pair, with a small metallic gold Swoosh on the sides adding a touch of elegance. This pair, no doubt, fits the Barbie aesthetic. This pair features a diluted shade of pink, giving the shoes a toned-down look. The pair also features a white midsole. The uppers are constructed completely of nubuck and are totally pink. If you’re looking for a sneaker that can go with just about any outfit, that still matches that Barbie vibe, this is your pair. (Image via Stadium Goods)
Similar to the previous pair, these sneakers don’t feature that vibrant shade of pink that makes heads turn. Instead, this pair features a light pink rubber sole and a white midsole. Cream and light pink suede construct the uppers, featuring a white leather Nike Swoosh. Another low-key pair that will work with any outfit you can put together. (Image via Stadium Goods)
Next up, is the Air Jordan 14. This pair definitely does feature that vibrant shade of pink and even features orange. The pair has a pink rubber sole with a black midsole. The uppers are made of pink thick suede with prominent vibrant orange accents. The sock liner and laces are black, providing the sneaker with a bit of minimalism, but not much, as you can see.
Another Jordan makes this list, and it’s one of the most popular Jordans ever. This Air Jordan 1 features a light pink rubber sole with a sail midsole. The uppers feature a white leather base with washed pink suede overlays and a washed pink Nike Swoosh. The iconic Wings logo is found in white on the sides. Overall, this pair definitely meets the Barbie criteria and has been a popular release since they came out earlier this year. (Image via Stadium Goods)
Finally, the Air Jordan 1 Low completes this list. A pink-tinted rubber sole and a clean midsole make up the bottom half of these sneakers. The uppers are made of soft velvet in a washed pink color. Even the laces are velvet, giving the sneakers a classy look and feel. These sneakers are certainly Barbie-inspired and the AJ1 Low is a fan-favorite silhouette. (Image via Stadium Goods)
Let us know what you think of these sneakers, in the comments section down below.

Of all the places that Barbie will partying in this summer, Kuwait will not be one of them. The country has officially banned the “Barbie” movie from playing in theaters in the country due to LGBTQ+ content, which is against the country’s traditional Muslim values.
This week, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), published an official statement from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information for Press, Publishing, and Publications Affairs, which read that “(the committee) has banned the films (Barbie) and (Talk to Me) from showing,” stating that the intent of the ban was to “prevent anything that offends public morals or incites violations of public order, customs and traditions, and calls for ideas alien to society.”
Chairman of the Film Censorship Committee, LafiAl-Subaie, stated that the committee, before making its decision to authorize the showing of the film, “required the deletion of some obscene scenes, but if it carries ideas that encourage unacceptable behavior and a message that distorts the prevailing values of society, then a decision is taken to ban it completely,” explaining that “this applies to any film that includes a different vision of values.” It contradicts the vision of our society and our customs.”
The ban on the film “Talk to Me” is not due to LGBTQ+ content, but due to the presence of trans nonbinary actor Zoe Terakes, who has a major role in the film.
A censored version of the film, which has grossed more than $1 billion worldwide so far, was shown in several other Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. It is facing a possible ban in Lebanon as there has been a recent surge in anti-homosexual rhetoric amongst some of the country’s politically influential groups.
In 2019, Nicki Minaj (whose song “Barbie World” appears on the “Barbie” soundtrack) pulled out of a concert in Saudi Arabia in protest of the country’s anti-LGBTQ+ laws.
Islam, which prohibits homosexuality, is the official religion of Kuwait. Islam and the Islamic Sharia (Islamic law) are the main sources of the Kuwaiti Laws and Legislations. According to The Guardian, Kuwait is considered to be the most censorious film market in the Gulf, routinely banning movies featuring any references to LBGTQ+ people, including “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” “Lightyear,” and “West Side Story.”

Barbie has officially surpassed the $1 billion mark at the box office, as its success continues three weeks into its run. According to official Warner Bros estimates cited by CNN, the film’s global box office earnings are currently at $1.03 billion.
The figure comes after the film’s titular star, Margot Robbie, recently revealed that she predicted it would reach a billion dollars while originally meeting with studios. “I think I told them they’d make a billion dollars which, maybe I was overselling, but we had a movie to make!” she told Collider.
Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at Comscore, told CNN that Barbie’s marketing campaign was “unprecedented” and “unpredictable.” He explained: “The marketing campaign for ‘Barbie’ set into motion a chain of events that led to the word ‘Barbenheimer’ being added to the popular lexicon by virtue of its shared release date with ‘Oppenheimer,’ and that’s when we all knew something very special and unique was going to create a much bigger than expected outcome for the film not only for the opening weekend, but for its global run in theaters.” He also noted that only approximately 50 films in history have hit the billion-dollar mark when not adjusted for inflation.
BoxOffice Pro chief analyst Shawn Robbins explained Barbie’s popularity by citing the broad appeal of its story. “Driving that discourse is the film’s embrace of what generations of women have both loved and hated about the brand and what it’s often represented in the past,” Robbins said while adding that it “has tapped into cultural conversations about gender roles and female empowerment that aren’t bound by international borders.”
Barbie first hit theaters on July 21, 2023, coinciding with the release of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. Alongside Robbie, the film stars Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, as well as Will Ferrell.
