Teairra Mari & Keri Hilson Go Back & Forth With Threats, Claims & Responses Over Beef

Two R&B stars recently reignited their beef after referencing it in a recent interview, and things are at a bit of a standstill right now. Moreover, during an appearance on the R&B Money podcast with J. Valentine and Tank in October, Keri Hilson told a story of how another artist wasn’t really returning the mutual respect they’re supposed to share as entertainers. Then, the Internet got to sleuthing, and many folks correctly assumed that this was about fellow R&B singer Teairra Mari. Since these initial comments, the two issued out various threats and responses to all this.

“When you’re a performer, we know how important it is to give love to other performers,” Keri Hilson told the show hosts, opening up these floodgates. “Especially when you happen to be sitting on the front row at their show. I remember this ‘I don’t wanna be here’ energy. She was with a gentleman, she was his guest. I know the guy very well. She didn’t wanna be there. It was very obvious. I felt disrespected by that. So when they came to my dressing room backstage, I said something and we almost got to scrapping. It could have got real ugly,” she concluded, adding that the artist in question is “pretty insignificant at this point.”

The Keri Hilson & Teairra Mari Saga So Far

“Y’all, people gotta leave me alone,” Teairra Mari responded to Keri Hilson via an Instagram comment. “I don’t bother anybody. Just leave me the f**k alone. So, Keri. What’s up, you wanna fight or do you not want to fight because I’m gonna whoop your a** when I see you I’m sick of you people bothering me! You had a whole different story when I was in your face you’re a liar b***h!!!” “Well fellas, I guess the ‘I ain’t sayin no names’ segment didn’t work too well this time…” Hilson replied in her own IG comment. “Unfortunately this did happen around 12-13 years ago. I never knew until I saw the previous post you also told this story publicly. Listen… we were very young in our careers and I was remembering how I felt when it happened. But I don’t feel a way about this situation now.

“Since then, we’ve run into each other, apologized, partied together & gotten past that,” Keri Hilson continued. “I’m responding to this because I don’t wanna allow anything to bring us back to a place we’ve long passed. And since it was a public story that got connected to you in public, it deserves a public apology. I’m sorry for telling the story especially with the energy & hurtful words that I used. It was unnecessary. Because my feelings and energy at this point, in this present moment are nothing but love… It’s an old story that I see now we’ve both told. I hope you’re doing well in this season & wishing you all the best in life.” Teairra Mari hasn’t responded to this apology at press time. 50 Cent & Dwight Howard Feud After Rapper Takes Shots At NBA Star Amid Legal Issues

The world of NBA basketball isn’t the only pop culture sphere that got shook up by Dwight Howard’s sexual assault accusations. For those unaware, a man named Stephen Harper claimed that he forced him into a threesome with another man with a cross-dressing, full-bearded male referred to as Kitty, and that he assaulted him. While the star athlete denied all accusations, saying that they only engaged in “consensual kissing,” people continue to take shots at this horrible alleged act. For example, 50 Cent recently reposted a picture of him, Denzel Washington, and Top Dawg Entertainment boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffifth courtside at a Lakers game. Since the picture featured Howard towering over them, this is what the rapper used to take aim at him.

“@dangerookipawaa [Top Dawg’s Instagram handle] gonna say you made eye contact with Dwight Howard,” 50 Cent’s post’s caption read. “Man me and Denzel thought that motherf***er was alright man. WTF.” Then, Howard actually responded to Fif’s jabs in the comments section of his post. “Glad I put a smile on your face,” he added with a laughing emoji. It’s unclear how much of this is legitimate beef and how much of it is just trolling or making light of the situation, but from the looks of it, neither side is too happy with the other.

50 Cent Takes Shots At Dwight Howard In New Instagram Post, Gets A Response

Meanwhile, this is the statement from Dwight Howard’s team to AllHipHop concerning the allegations that 50 Cent referred to. “This is a civil case that was made public for profit,” it posits. “In this case, the accuser is solely suing Dwight Howard and has refrained from suing the other party in which he claims to be involved. It is important to know that these matters were never about sexual assault. This was merely about money and greed. Such individuals, have made continuous attempts to elicit payment from Dwight. This has resulted in intimidation of not only Dwight, his family and friends have also been targeted as well. The accuser took to social media, only after being ignored by Howard.

“Over the duration of several years the accuser has set out to hire attorneys. Drake & Lil Yachty Troll Each Other’s Parenting Under Drizzy’s Adorable Adonis Post

Drake is always a proud father online, and recently posted some adorable content with his son Adonis on his Instagram. Moreover, the post includes a clip of Drizzy getting his mom a new watch, and asking his five-year-old why he said he doesn’t want it (it’s apparently too expensive). In addition, he also included a picture of him tending to Adonis’ braids, which actually caught the attention of one of his famous friends. Lil Yachty hit the comments with a funny message: “It’s no way your sitting here acting like your braiding his hair for the internet.” In his equally comical response, the Canadian superstar went perhaps a little harder that he had to on the Atlanta pioneer out of context.

“I was unbraiding it b***h,” Drake replied in the comments section of his adorable IG post. “Your son said you ain’t hit him in 6 months on his finsta he said he need some Jordans and a backpack for school.” For the sake of Yachty and his son (who we’re not sure if he even exists), we hope that the 6 God is mostly joking. Maybe he meant to refer to his daughter and not a son, but even then, she would be about two years old as of this comments exchange.

Drake’s Cute Adonis Post Gets Troll Comment From Lil Yachty

Regardless, it was still pretty funny to see these two best friends go back and forth over what should’ve been just a normally wholesome post. Of course, it’s far from the first time they’ve teased each other online, although they hadn’t involved their parenting skills for a long time. For example, Lil Yachty had a hilarious response to the following Drake-written caption on Instagram. “Least you can do is introduce me to the new you or the old clone or whatever she’s called,” he captioned. “But you expected me to know who she was all along. They used to banish ppl from towns for things smaller then what you’re on.”

iLoveMakonnen recently ruffled some feathers in the rap game by exposing artists in his DMs after collaborating with NBA YoungBoy. Moreover, he called out Swae Lee, Metro Boomin, and Post Malone for leaving him in the dust until this collab came around. In our original coverage of this post, we mentioned that the Rae Sremmurd member in particular left some comments under his indignant screenshots. However, shortly after, the “Tuesday” MC and singer responded to these with some additional thoughts and concessions. While it doesn’t seem like there’s any real beef here, the alleged ghosting just left hard feelings in its wake.

“Bro I was saying that to you goofy not for any reason besides spreading love,” Swae Lee told iLoveMakonnen. “I’m good in the game. I knew you when you was throwing up on shrooms bro relax tf. I saw you on the TL heard the new jam and privately told you it was hard don’t be that guy. That’s funny though bro fr.” Then, Makonnen responded: “yes it was a beautiful garment and u stay booked busy and werkin it’s no denying. U have nice day, post the link if u like the album rollout. U should’ve been on outside but u was ignoring a n***a.”

iLoveMakonnen Responds To Swae Lee

Meanwhile, this unfortunately isn’t the first time that something similar has happened to Makonnen. Recently, he explained how his relationship with Drake soured over time. Even though it’s normal for connections to diminish over time in any relationship, it also doesn’t warrant complete ignorance or indignation. Blueface Calls DJ Akademiks “Lame AF”

Blueface and DJ Akademiks continued their Twitter beef this week after the former called the latter “lame af.” Moreover, Akademiks tweeted out a video about a truth teller walking into an interrogation room and forcing the suspect to confess. It seemed to be related to those snitch and crime narratives that the media personality’s built a name off of until this point. However, such actions and assessments clearly didn’t impress the California rapper, who previously clowned Ak for profiting off of others. While their spat hasn’t slowed down, Ak hasn’t responded to these new comments as of writing this article.

Of course, things got pretty rowdy between the two. After Blue challenged him to a fight, Ak hit back with offering money to whoever slept with his girlfriend. “I got $5 K per N***a who F***ed BLUEFACE girl who down to get on my twitch stream breaking it down how it happened,” he tweeted. “DNA test included, F**k maury, BIG AK finna do a paternity test for that broke A** N***a BLUEFACE. Im pledging $50k for this effort, WHO GOT BLUEFACE girl pregnant.”

DJ Akademiks Is “Lame AF,” Says Blueface

Later on, Blueface said that Ak was just trying his best to steer clear of the fight by bringing up his history. “Ak want me to fight a female instead of him at 31 years old,” the “Bleed It” rapper tweeted. “Give it up bro squabble up or shut up. We all know when a N***a turning a fade down an @Akademiks is clearly turning it down the best way he know how to. N***as always use a b***h as a cop out sound like a b***h a** N***a to me,” he continued. “N***a said MMA he must wanna wrestle or some lol cuz ak fasho can’t throw no kicks with his fat a**. Ak is offering 5k to 10 n***as to take the fade for him. I must be the big bad wolf or some cuz he was so gangsta for lil baby.”

Meanwhile, their barrage of insults also included failed music careers, who makes more money, and other forms of posturing. At the end of the day, it’s all stuck to just social media.
