Cassie Delivers Heartfelt Message To Fans Following Diddy Assault Footage Leak

The new footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway has taken the Internet by storm, and resulted in the biggest development in this scandal we’ve seen in a relatively long time. After his apology video, a lot of folks are discussing if there are any further legal steps to take, or if her settled lawsuit should be reopened considering this new, less defensible public perception. It’s important to note that all other allegations and accusations against Sean Combs are unconfirmed under a court of law at press time. Regardless, Cassie recently shared a message on social media thanking fans for their support in the wake of this new video and her settlement.

“Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers and those I have yet to meet,” Cassie’s message began. “The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning. Domestic Violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.

Cassie’s Message After Diddy Footage

“Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to take this matter seriously,” Cassie continued. “My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation that you were powerless in. I offer my hand to those that are still living in fear. Reach out to your people, don’t cut them off. No one should carry this weight alone. This healing journey is never ending, but this support means everything to me. Thank you. Love Always, Cassie.”

Meanwhile, folks continue to react to this footage, advocate for victims to speak their truth, and theorize what this means for Diddy moving forward. The Cassie case is not the only think he must answer for, and at this point, it’s impossible to tell what the future will look like. Hopefully the discussion around these tragedies and horrors can lead to more prevention down the road. If something as public and hot-button as this can’t do so, then we’ll stay stuck.

Diddy Speaks On Rihanna & Chris Brown Situation In Resurfaced Clip: “Relationships Get Ugly”

Diddy’s recent controversies, accusations, and both confirmed and alleged evidence of wrongdoing caused a media firestorm that’s lasted for half a year at this point. Moreover, it also re-contextualized many of his previous public statements, moves, and actions, leading many to look back with darker and more skeptical perspectives. For example, Sean Combs once appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show in 2009, about a month after Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna. Considering the recent footage that emerged of the Bad Boy mogul attacking Cassie in a hotel hallway, hearing him talk about this separate domestic abuse before this was a public narrative is very strange.

“I don’t believe in judgement either, but I don’t want any girl out there thinking it’s okay to go back to a guy who hit her,” The Ellen Show‘s host remarked to Diddy. “I don’t want any girl to think that. And I don’t want to put you in that, because it’s not you.” “No, no, no, but you are putting me in it, so I’ma speak on it,” he answered. “I don’t think that it’s right for anybody to hit anybody at the end of the day, you know. I don’t think it’s right.

Diddy’s Remarks On Chris Brown Assaulting Rihanna

“You know, I think that we all have to be honest with ourselves as adults and people that have been in relationships,” Diddy continued. “We know sometimes those relationships get ugly, you know. Sometimes, it doesn’t come out into the forefront the way this one has come out. There’s a lot of stones being thrown, and we don’t know exactly what’s going on. These are two young individuals. We need to pray for them, and we need to give certain support.

“But you don’t need to start just saying that you know something that you don’t know,” he went on. “You wasn’t in that car, I wasn’t in that car, and it isn’t right for him to put his hands on her or her to put [her] hands on him. We don’t know what the problem is, but we need to pray for them, and we need to do things to support them. And that’s all I wanna say about it. Can we dance? I would like to dance,” Diddy concluded when Ellen proposed a break after some applause, and then they started to dance before embracing.

Diddy Accused Of Drugging & Sexually Assaulting Model: What We Know About The Latest Lawsuit

Sean “Diddy” Combs, the renowned music mogul, faces a grave new lawsuit filed in New York just days after apologizing for physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie. In the new lawsuit, he faces allegations of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in the early 2000s. Crystal McKinney, a former model, claims that she was subjected to a traumatic experience involving Diddy when she was 22 years old. The lawsuit details disturbing allegations of manipulation, drugging, and sexual violence. This legal action is part of a series of recent accusations against Combs, casting a shadow over his storied career.

The Allegations: A Night Of Horror

Model Crystal McKinney accused Diddy of drugging and sexually assaulting her in the early 2000s in the latest lawsuit against the music mogul.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Crystal McKinney alleges that her ordeal began in 2003 when she was introduced to Diddy by a designer while working as a model. The introduction took place at Cipriani Downtown, a high-end restaurant, where McKinney says she felt controlled and objectified throughout the evening.

McKinney claims she was directed to sit directly across from Combs during the dinner. She describes Diddy as making a “very public display” of his interest in her. She alleged that he continuously complimented on her beauty and promised to help advance her modeling career. Throughout the dinner, McKinney alleges that Combs was flirtatious and insisted on refilling her wine glass, plying her with alcohol.

The Studio Incident

The evening took a darker turn when McKinney accompanied Combs to his studio. There, she was offered a joint, which she later believed was laced with a narcotic. Despite feeling disoriented and “floating,” she declined further substances, but alleges that Combs pressured her, calling her “uptight.” The lawsuit states that Diddy then led her to a bathroom where he forced himself upon her, kissing her without consent and ultimately forcing her to perform oral sex. McKinney says she felt physically sick and lost consciousness after the assault.

Aftermath & Long-Term Impact

McKinney’s lawsuit also details the long-term impact of the alleged assault. She claims that Diddy “blackballed” her career, making it difficult for her to find work in the industry. In 2004, McKinney was hospitalized following a suicide attempt, blaming herself for the assault and the derailment of her career. The lawsuit mentions that McKinney kept the unwashed clothing from that night as evidence, preserved in plastic wrap.

A Pattern Of Allegations

This lawsuit is not an isolated incident. It comes shortly after footage was released by CNN showing Combs assaulting his former girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. The surveillance footage showed Diddy kicking, punching, and dragging Ventura, adding to the mounting accusations against him. In addition to McKinney and Ventura, Diddy faces sexual assault and harassment lawsuits from three other women and one man. Overall, this paints a troubling picture of his conduct over the years.

Conclusion

The amount McKinney is seeking in damages is unspecified. Representatives for Combs have not yet responded to the allegations, and McKinney’s lawyers have declined to comment on the lawsuit. However, the lawsuit filed by Crystal McKinney brings to light serious allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, adding to a series of disturbing accusations. As these cases unfold, they could have significant implications for Combs’ legacy and career. The entertainment industry, along with the public, will be closely watching how these allegations are addressed and resolved in the legal system.

Joe Budden Goes Off On Diddy & The “Lie Of Black Excellence”

Joe Budden has addressed the latest video of Diddy appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel in 2016, labeling the Bad Boy mogul a “lying sack of sh*t.” He spoke about the incident during the latest episode of his podcast, which comes after he previously edited out a segment on Diddy, last week.

“Before we even get to the lies told on Instagram pertaining to the case,” Budden began, seemingly referencing Diddy’s apology video. “I’m talking about the lie of Black excellence. It’s a few of you n****s moseying around out here under the good name of Black excellence and you n****s are living like pieces of sh*t. This ain’t 20 to 30 years ago. N***a you not white. You can’t do what them white n****s do and say, ‘Hey I’m checking into rehab,’ and all will be well. You ain’t white and this ain’t 20 or 30 f*cking years ago.” Diddy apologized for the incident and said he’s been going to therapy in an attempt to better himself in a video on social media on Sunday.

Budden previously defended his decision to cut out a segment on Diddy during last week’s episode, saying that the news broke as they were wrapping up the recording. “I took it out because it was insensitive for the moment,” he told fans afterward. “I was talking for four minutes about what happened, and in three minutes at the end, it was not the attention that the story needed, and it wasn’t the commentary that it needed. So, I don’t need to be the first one to run to something.”

Benzino Calls Out The Black Community For Not Supporting Diddy

Benzino is upset with the Black community for turning on Diddy following the allegations against the Bad Boy mogul and the Homeland Security raids on his properties. Benzino came to Diddy’s defense during an appearance on The Danza Project on Tuesday. It’s unclear if he recorded the interview before the latest drama, a video of him assaulting Cassie at a hotel in 2016.

“Since when have we given the law, the system, one of ours?” he questioned. “Since when? This man ain’t been charged with nothing criminally. Not one f*cking thing. They done went in the man’s property with tanks and army men and National Guards, and he ain’t got charged with one criminal charge right now to date. They don’t got one f*cking charge yet. I’m more upset about how our own are ready just to give him, ‘Here, take him. Lock him up.’ Since when do we do that?”

After CNN published footage of Diddy dragging Cassie to the ground and kicking her, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office released a statement confirming he won’t face criminal charges for the incident. They explained that the statute of limitations on assault has passed. Diddy has since apologized for the incident, saying that he’s since gotten professional help to better himself. “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that,” he said in a video on social media. “I was f*cked up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.”

Charleston White Accepts Diddy’s Apology, Doesn’t Think He Deserves Jail Time

Charleston White doesn’t understand why fans are calling for Diddy to face criminal charges after CNN published footage of him appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel back in 2016. Discussing his apology on social media, White accepted what he had to say about going to therapy and bettering himself.

In one post, he argued that Cassie stayed with Diddy for years without leaving. “If I’m spending all that money on you, don’t tell me what I do to you,” he said. In a later video, he added: “She wanted some money. Obviously, she didn’t want Puffy to go jail. Why are y’all wishin’ jail on Puffy? Not one time did that girl call the police on P. Diddy, Sean Combs, Brother Love. Not one time. I know a lot of relationships, all they do is fight and f**k, f**k and fight. Sometimes I know a n***a get in a relationship so long n***as start a good fight so we can do some good f**kin’ and after the n***a get tired of good f**kin’ the other n***a go back to doing some good fightin’.”

Misa Hylton Describes Video Of Diddy Assaulting Cassie As Triggering For Her “Own Trauma”

Misa Hylton has addressed the recent footage CNN published of Diddy appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel in 2016 by sharing a statement on Instagram. She did so by captioning a pair of pictures of Diddy’s children. She brought up her “own trauma” and described seeing the clip as triggering.

“I am heartbroken that Cassie must relive the horror of her abuse, and my heart goes out to her,” she said. “I know exactly how she feels, and through my empathy, it has triggered my own trauma. Cam’ron’s Wild CNN Interview About Diddy Has Fans Divided

Cam’ron has fans on social media divided after making an appearance on CNN to discuss the allegations regarding Diddy on Monday night. After clarifying that he was upset by the new footage of the Bad Boy mogul attacking Cassie in 2016, he became combative when pressed for further comments.

“First of all, everything in the video was egregious. I don’t support all the charges that’s alleged against him. I don’t support any of that — trafficking minors, domestic violence. I’m totally against it,” he began. “So when I saw the video, yeah, I was kinda upset with it. Being that I know him — he’s not necessarily a friend — but I was upset when I saw it.”

When the reporter asked if Cam’ron “recognized” the version of Diddy seen in the clip, a misunderstanding ensued and things went off the rails. “I don’t know him like that. What do you mean do I recognize him? What do you mean my experiences? I seen it and I thought it was disgusting. I didn’t zoom in to see if it was really him, but he admitted it was him.”

Fans React To Cam’ron’s CNN Appearance

Many fans have been sharing laughs on social media in response to the interview, while others have been debating whether Cam’s behavior was fair. “All jokes aside Cam’ron is way too old to still be carrying on like that,” one user wrote on Twitter. Another argued: “Cam’ron knows the code, never throw another man under the bus. Julia Fox Criticizes Diddy After He Releases Assault Video Apology

Julia Fox is not afraid to speak her mind. The actress and model has developed a reputation for making lots of controversial public statements. Her stance on the Diddy and Cassie situation, however, places her firmly in the majority. She was approached by TMZ reporters on May 20, and she made it clear that she was horrified by the footage CNN released. She condemned Diddy’s actions outright, despite the fact that the disgraced mogul recently issued an apology on social media.

The exchange between Fox and reporters was mainly focused on the actress’ recent comments on celibacy. She asserted that focusing on one’s goals over sexual conquests will result in a happier life. “Just focus on yourself, prioritize yourself,” she explained. “And you’ll see that once you decenter men, then everything you want in life will come true.” It was when she got into her vehicle that the topic then shifted to the Diddy and Cassie footage.

Julia Fox Called Diddy’s Behavior “Disgusting”

Fox was asked point blank what she thought about the footage of Diddy physically assaulting Cassie, and she described it as “disgusting.” She also voiced her support for the R&B singer. “My heart goes out to Cassie,” she told TMZ. Julia Fox has spoken out against men using their influence to hide their crimes in the past. The actress claimed that she was drugged and assaulted by a billionaire in her memoir, Down the Drain. She detailed an incident in which she was invited on a private jet, and given champagne. Fox then stated that she woke up next to the unnamed billionaire, with no recollection of how she got there.

Fox added that the lack of evidence, and the way other famous women had been treated when they came forward, led to her not taking legal action. “I don’t know if I would,” she wrote. “And then go to battle, have years of my life taken away, and have to relive it? We’ve literally seen what happens, with Amber Heard. It’s like: is it worth it at the end of the day.”
