Joe Budden Goes Off On Diddy & The “Lie Of Black Excellence”

Joe Budden has addressed the latest video of Diddy appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel in 2016, labeling the Bad Boy mogul a “lying sack of sh*t.” He spoke about the incident during the latest episode of his podcast, which comes after he previously edited out a segment on Diddy, last week.

“Before we even get to the lies told on Instagram pertaining to the case,” Budden began, seemingly referencing Diddy’s apology video. “I’m talking about the lie of Black excellence. It’s a few of you n****s moseying around out here under the good name of Black excellence and you n****s are living like pieces of sh*t. This ain’t 20 to 30 years ago. N***a you not white. You can’t do what them white n****s do and say, ‘Hey I’m checking into rehab,’ and all will be well. You ain’t white and this ain’t 20 or 30 f*cking years ago.” Diddy apologized for the incident and said he’s been going to therapy in an attempt to better himself in a video on social media on Sunday.

Budden previously defended his decision to cut out a segment on Diddy during last week’s episode, saying that the news broke as they were wrapping up the recording. “I took it out because it was insensitive for the moment,” he told fans afterward. “I was talking for four minutes about what happened, and in three minutes at the end, it was not the attention that the story needed, and it wasn’t the commentary that it needed. So, I don’t need to be the first one to run to something.”

Benzino is upset with the Black community for turning on Diddy following the allegations against the Bad Boy mogul and the Homeland Security raids on his properties. Benzino came to Diddy’s defense during an appearance on The Danza Project on Tuesday. It’s unclear if he recorded the interview before the latest drama, a video of him assaulting Cassie at a hotel in 2016.

“Since when have we given the law, the system, one of ours?” he questioned. “Since when? This man ain’t been charged with nothing criminally. Not one f*cking thing. They done went in the man’s property with tanks and army men and National Guards, and he ain’t got charged with one criminal charge right now to date. They don’t got one f*cking charge yet. I’m more upset about how our own are ready just to give him, ‘Here, take him. Lock him up.’ Since when do we do that?”

After CNN published footage of Diddy dragging Cassie to the ground and kicking her, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office released a statement confirming he won’t face criminal charges for the incident. They explained that the statute of limitations on assault has passed. Diddy has since apologized for the incident, saying that he’s since gotten professional help to better himself. “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that,” he said in a video on social media. “I was f*cked up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.”

Charleston White Accepts Diddy’s Apology, Doesn’t Think He Deserves Jail Time

Charleston White doesn’t understand why fans are calling for Diddy to face criminal charges after CNN published footage of him appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel back in 2016. Discussing his apology on social media, White accepted what he had to say about going to therapy and bettering himself.

In one post, he argued that Cassie stayed with Diddy for years without leaving. “If I’m spending all that money on you, don’t tell me what I do to you,” he said. In a later video, he added: “She wanted some money. Obviously, she didn’t want Puffy to go jail. Why are y’all wishin’ jail on Puffy? Not one time did that girl call the police on P. Diddy, Sean Combs, Brother Love. Not one time. I know a lot of relationships, all they do is fight and f**k, f**k and fight. King Los is coming under fire on social media after paparazzi caught him going for a walk with Diddy following the release of security footage showing the Bad Boy mogul appearing to assault Cassie in 2016. In the new clip, Los appeared dismayed by the fact the cameras spotted him, while Diddy avoided answering questions. It appears to have been taken near Diddy’s property in Miami.

Fans have since flocked to Los’ Instagram page to demand answers for why he was hanging with Diddy after the aforementioned video came out. “You with diddy is hella disappointing man smh,” one user wrote under one of his recent posts, as caught by HipHopDX. “We saw u about to run the other way,” another remarked. Others did come to his defense.

Julia Fox is not afraid to speak her mind. The actress and model has developed a reputation for making lots of controversial public statements. Her stance on the Diddy and Cassie situation, however, places her firmly in the majority. She was approached by TMZ reporters on May 20, and she made it clear that she was horrified by the footage CNN released. She condemned Diddy’s actions outright, despite the fact that the disgraced mogul recently issued an apology on social media.

The exchange between Fox and reporters was mainly focused on the actress’ recent comments on celibacy. She asserted that focusing on one’s goals over sexual conquests will result in a happier life. “Just focus on yourself, prioritize yourself,” she explained. “And you’ll see that once you decenter men, then everything you want in life will come true.” It was when she got into her vehicle that the topic then shifted to the Diddy and Cassie footage.

Julia Fox Called Diddy’s Behavior “Disgusting”

Fox was asked point blank what she thought about the footage of Diddy physically assaulting Cassie, and she described it as “disgusting.” She also voiced her support for the R&B singer. “My heart goes out to Cassie,” she told TMZ. Julia Fox has spoken out against men using their influence to hide their crimes in the past. The actress claimed that she was drugged and assaulted by a billionaire in her memoir, Down the Drain. She detailed an incident in which she was invited on a private jet, and given champagne. Fox then stated that she woke up next to the unnamed billionaire, with no recollection of how she got there.

Fox added that the lack of evidence, and the way other famous women had been treated when they came forward, led to her not taking legal action. “I don’t know if I would,” she wrote. “And then go to battle, have years of my life taken away, and have to relive it? Bishop TD Jakes addressed the topic of domestic violence during his latest sermon on Sunday after CNN published footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie at a hotel in 2016. While he didn’t mention Diddy’s video by name, he alluded to images that have been “floating over the news all week.”

In a post on Instagram, Shyne described Diddy’s pattern of behavior as “diabolical” and offered prayers for Cassie and any other alleged victims.
