Today, Reebok, the iconic and irreverent sports culture brand and Latin rapper-singer and brand partner Anuel AA, announced a three-part collaborative product series titled “Soy Leyenda” (“I Am Legend”). Chapter 1 of the series, “I Will Be Legend,” explores Anuel’s past via a global full-family footwear and apparel offering beginning July 12, 2024.

Anuel and Reebok officially joined forces in June 2023, kicking off a long-term partnership that would encompass various product collections and special projects.

“Soy Leyenda,” Reebok and Anuel’s first official product collaboration, will take consumers on a journey through the artist’s past, present, and future through a creative lens. Each installment from the capsule will signify a different era of Anuel’s path to becoming a legend.

“Being a ‘legend’ means more than just reaching some level of cultural status,” explained Anuel. “It means you’re leaving an impact on future generations. I’ve had so many role models in my life who have shaped my character and my dreams, and I’m so thankful for them. They’re a big part of my story, this partnership, and this amazing product.”

Part one of the collection, “I Will Be Legend,” leverages Reebok’s classic footwear models to celebrate Anuel’s early ambitions of one day selling out stadiums—dreams that shaped his bold aesthetic today, his high-energy stage presence, larger-than-life performances, and emotionally charged music. These elements are thoughtfully captured on footwear and apparel through high-vis design execution, textures, and graphics.

Included will be the Classic Leather “I Will Be Legend,” the BB4000 “I Will Be Legend” and “I will Be Legend” Apparrel. You can see the items below.

Anuel kicked off his European tour on June 22. Fans can follow @Anuel on social media for more information.

Part one of the “Soy Leyenda” capsule, “I Will Be Legend,” is available globally beginning July 12 from Reebok.com and select retailers.

Anuel AA Sends Shots At Various Latino Artists, Including 6ix9ine On 10-Minute Diss Track “Glock, Glock, Glock”

Anuel AA just unloaded on a large portion of Latino rappers and artists in his latest single. He certainly had a lot he wanted to get off his chest. We say that because the song is a whopping 10 minutes in length. Just a moment ago, we wrote a piece on some of the names that the Puerto Rican artist decided to aim at. Primarily, it addresses his issues with Arcángel, but what is really catching a lot of listener’s attention are specific lyrics toward somebody else.

He also goes after Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is dating AA’s former interest, Yailin La Más Viral. They had a child together and now the rainbow-haired rapper is taking care of the kid with her. The bar that addresses this is, I know I’m a piece of s***, a snitch is taking care of my daughter. Because of this, the song is gaining attention, and fast.

6ix9ine And Anuel AA Exchange Fighting Words Over Instagram

Beef seems to be brewing between rappers 6ix9ine and Anuel AA. The two got into a heated back-and-forth via Instagram on Thursday, July 6th, causing fans in both camps to go up in arms. Both of them threw out salacious details of the other. According to comments on DJ Akademiks’ post on the matter, Spanish translator-commenters said, “Anuel calls 69 a Pedo even [though] he knew this while recording 2 songs [with] him.” This is a reference to 6ix9ine’s plea deal from child sexual performance charges back in 2015.

Apparently, 6ix9ine clapped back with “[saying] Anuel beat his ex while pregnant.” This is a serious accusation about a musical artist who has had a plethora of romantic relationships and has children with a few women. It’s a bit of a setback for 6ix9ine, who seemed to be righting the ship of his career by gifting the people of the Dominican Republic money mere days ago. Now, he’s getting into yet another confrontation with someone in the rap game.

A post shared by DJ Akademiks (@akademiks)

It’s fair to question Anuel AA about his pedophile claim about the New York hip-hop performer. The two created a couple of songs together back in the day. Insta commenters pointed out that Anuel would’ve known about the pedo thing at that time. Whether Anuel knew or not is up for speculation. But what is known is the two now have bad blood. How did the former collaborators reach such irreconcilable terms?

This seemed to have all started when 6ix9ine and Anuel AA’s brother appeared to get into an alleged altercation back in February. They could be heard in a video arguing and possibly throwing fists. It was only a matter of time before Anuel AA got involved. With the tirades screenshot by DJ Akademiks, we will have receipts for when this beef continues to grow. After both of them traded secrets in public, who knows where the fight goes from here?

6ix9ine & Anuel AA’s Brother Have Heated Confrontation: Watch

There is a long list of people who call Tekashi 6ix9ine a foe, and Anuel AA’s brother’s name just may have been added. 6ix9ine’s often unfiltered takes have consistently made him an enemy of the masses. Yet, despite his never-ending controversies, he still has dedicated fans and runs up streaming numbers. The rapper has always been a controversial character, but things shifted after he cooperated with federal authorities against his crew, the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods.

He was labeled as a snitch and was ostracized by his peers. He was once close with Anuel AA, 6ix9ine’s “BEBE” collaborator, but things may have turned sour. DJ Akademiks, who often goes to bat for 6ix9ine, shared a clip of a confrontation that looked to turn physical. What ignited the argument remains unclear, but Akademiks claims that in the clip, 6ix9ine is fighting with Anuel’s brother.

At this time, 6ix9ine hasn’t addressed the video. It’s uncharacteristic for the rapper to ignore a good viral moment, but we’re sure he’ll soon materialize. Meanwhile, Anuel AA has previously taken heat for continuing his friendship—or at the very least, working relationship—with Tekashi. When they appeared on Instagram Live together in the summer of 2020, the Puerto Rican star was inundated with messages. People questioned why he was still in contact with the disgraced rapper.

Additionally, in 2019, Anuel admitted if it were proven that 6ix9ine didn’t cooperate with the authorities, he would consider collaborating with him again. At the time, 6ix9ine was still in jail, and Anuel was asked about the incarcerated rapper during an interview with Complex News. “I got love for him. He just did that, so he [can] just stay on his side, and I stay on my side,” he said.

Anuel was adamant that he couldn’t support 6ix9ine’s actions with the authorities. However, at the time, he didn’t rule out getting back in the studio. “I don’t know,” he finally responded. “You seen the paper? These papers came out…If he comes out with the clean papers, we straight.” It’s unclear what the relationship is between the two men currently. Check out the confrontation above.
