Cardi B Hit With Copyright Infringement Lawsuit Over “Enough (Miami)”

It’s been a busy few months for Cardi B, and unfortunately, she also now has a lawsuit to deal with. The hitmaker is currently gearing up to unleash her highly anticipated new album, and while a release date hasn’t been officially announced, she’s been doing plenty of teasing. To get fans ready for what’s to come, she’s also dropped a couple of singles this year, including “Enough (Miami).” The track left fans impressed, and eager to hear what else she has up her sleeve.

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, however, she’s being accused of using other artists’ work on the song without permission. Joshua Fraustro and Miguel Aguilar, who also go by Sten Joddi and Kemika 1956, are suing her for allegedly stealing part of their own song “Greasy Frybread.”

Their song was previously used to promote the FX series Reservation Dogs, and was released three years before Cardi’s track. Aside from her, producers OG Parker and DJ SwanQo, Atlantic Records, and Warner Music Group are named as defendants. It’s unclear whether or not the lawsuit will impact her upcoming release in any way. She has already been hard at work lately teasing yet another new track, however. She appears to be going in an R&B direction with the song, which has no official name.

Fans were also quick to dissect her recent BET Experience performance, searching for potential clues about the album. She took the stage in a sparkly jersey featuring the number eleven, for instance. Some speculated this could be a hint at the release date, title, or something else. This is unconfirmed, particularly considering the femcee’s newfound legal issues. Bianca Censori Denies Allegations She Sent Porn To Minors, Milo Yiannopoulos Says

Earlier this week, Kanye West and his former chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulos were hit with yet another new lawsuit. In it, they’re accused of subjecting their employees to “forced labor and cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment,” and more. The plaintiffs also accuse Ye’s wife Bianca Censori of having sent porn to employees, some of which were allegedly minors. They’re seeking damages for allegedly unpaid wages, overtime pay, and emotional distress.

Now, Yiannopoulos has addressed the lawsuit, insisting that he and the other defendants are the real victims in this scenario. TMZ reports that according to him, he’s been given permission from Censori to shut down claims that she allegedly sent porn to minors, which she says are completely false. He argued that these allegations are impossible, seeing as though Yeezy Porn was seemingly canceled only weeks after it was first announced.

He even called one of the plaintiffs, Shemar DaCosta, a “tragic, desperate, attention-seeking wannabe Yeezy staffer.” Yiannopoulos claims that DaCosta posed as a lead developer for Yeezy on LinkedIn when he wasn’t and that there were inside jokes about him among Yeezy staff. He also adds that he’s unlikely to ever score a job there after telling such “odious lies” about the “the Lady of the House,” AKA Bianca Censori.

The plaintiff’s attorney, Ben Lockyer, issued a statement on their behalf earlier today. “Our team looks forward to achieving justice on behalf of our very deserving clients for the shocking working environment that they were forced to endure,” he said. Earlier this month, Victoria Monet took to social media to share a heartfelt Father’s Day post, unveiling a photo of herself alongside her dad. She revealed that it was the first time she got to spend the holiday with him, and suggested that the sweet moment was “healing.” The post prompted another young woman to come forward, however, alleging that the man in the photo is her biological father too. This would mean that unbeknownst to her, she and Monet are allegedly half-sisters.

In a new TikTok, she explains that she was raised by her stepfather, and only met her and Monet’s alleged biological father once. She questioned why he felt comfortable publicly spending time with Monet whilst knowing that he had another child out there, who he didn’t bother to get to know.

Many are also speculating that the man may have only reached out to Monet for clout, and reminding her that his behavior is not a reflection of her worth.

Remy Ma’s Son Faces Potential Life Sentence For Alleged First-Degree Murder

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Remy Ma’s 23-year-old son Jayson Scott was charged with first-degree murder, criminal weapon possession, reckless endangerment, and more. He was arrested last week for his alleged role in the 2021 murder of Darius Guillebeaux. He’s accused of shooting the 47-year-old after a dispute in Queens. Yesterday, he and his alleged accomplice were arraigned.

Reportedly, Scott could spend the rest of his life behind bars for his alleged crimes. Prosecutors accuse him of being hired to commit them. “We are charging the defendants with a cold-blooded killing on a public street,” District Attorney Melinda Katz explained, also adding, “Deadly gun violence has no place in our neighborhoods and we will remain steadfast in getting illegal guns and those who use them off the streets of Queens.”

His co-defendant Richard Swygert, who’s accused of firing at least two shots at the victim, is looking at up to 25 years in prison. Amid her son’s legal issues, Remy Ma has stuck by his side. She released a statement last week in which she proclaimed his innocence. “We stand by Jayson’s innocence and pray that the NYPD will conduct a complete and thorough investigation to reveal the truth,” she said. “This is undoubtedly a difficult time for my family and me. While we sincerely appreciate the love and support we have received from all of you, we kindly ask for privacy as our legal team works to prove Jayson’s innocence.”

Apparently, Stunna Girl has some serious dirt on the singer and multimedia mogul in regard to Wendy’s troubling battle with addiction. Via her Instagram Story, she writes, “Instead of constantly being worried about me, Ray J needs to focus on what he did to Wendy Williams. She ain’t been the same since u took her on that drug binge gang”. This is quite the accusation, especially with no other evidence to support her statement.

Throughout the years, Ray J and Wendy have sustained a friendship for quite some time. There was a short period in which internet sleuths had a strong belief there was something more there. However, the two TV stars have remained platonic. With that in mind, Stunna Girl’s allegations are a little head-scratching.

Her and Ray J have some work history together, as she was on the Baddies South season. The “One Wish” songwriter is an executive producer for Baddies, and it seems there was a falling out between them. Stunna and her husband wanted to create content independently, and although it was reported that things were cool, Ray J allegedly said something hurtful. That led Stunna Girl to lash out at Ray J on her IG. “Stop speaking on me!!! Ur nun but a Hollywood kid who’s having a mid-life crisis at 50 fakin a gangster image once u couldn’t pay us for clout & my husband for protection anymore u started trynna be him. Destroy Lonely has fired back at his ex-girlfriend’s claims of domestic abuse with a lengthy rant on X (formerly Twitter) that he’s since scrubbed from the platform. When the woman came forward with alleged pictures of her injuries and numerous stories of his behavior, he posted several responses.

In the series of posts caught by No Jumper, Lonely described her apparent injuries as “fake” and accused her of being violent towards him. He wrote at one point: “Everybody who know me in real life knows this aint facts or me im not proving myself to the internet or no woman.”

The woman began posting about Lonely on Monday morning. “Cry baby ass n***a. Mad over Lucki you verbally abused me for an entire 21 hr flight to Germany and when I finally snapped and hit you choked me and and then called my mom to play victim,” she began in one post. In another, she shared bloody pictures of her head with the caption: “Cracked my head open in Germany after pushing me into a bed frame and then threw all my sh*t in the hallway ….. all because i was tired and didn’t want to get up at that exact second to roll a blunt.” From there, she posted several more stories of alleged abusive incidents.

In one post, the woman recalled putting on a nice outfit for Lonely’s birthday celebrations with Playboi Carti. “On HIS birthday last I wore a white dress for HIM,” he claimed. “He loved it. Diddy Drops $60M Sean John Lawsuit Amid Federal Sex Trafficking Investigation

It goes without saying that Diddy has a lot on his plate at the moment, and recently, he decided to check one box off his list. According to an exclusive report by AllHipHop, the mogul has dropped his $60 million lawsuit against the fashion brand he founded, Sean John. Reportedly, he sold 90 percent of the brand to Global Brands Group (GBG) back in 2016. The relationship took a turn for the worse in 2021.

In February of that year, he filed various lawsuits against GBG. He accused them of using his likeness to promote their products without permission. The fashion house later filed for bankruptcy, and Diddy secured a winning bid to buy back the struggling Sean John brand for $7.5 million. The lawsuit’s dismissal will allow the Bad Boy Records founder to pursue legal action against GBG in the future if he chooses.

For now, however, it appears as though he has bigger fish to fry, as he’s facing several lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault, abuse, and more. He’s also currently at the center of a federal sex trafficking investigation. This is what prompted raids of two of his mansions earlier this year. Matters were only made worse for Diddy last month when disturbing footage of him and his ex-girlfriend Cassie surfaced online.

In the 2016 footage, he can be seen chasing Cassie at a hotel, kicking her, and more. He’s since apologized for his past behavior, though it did little to mitigate the damage done to his reputation. Of course, this is unconfirmed and only an allegation, but the rapper’s associates are upset about it nonetheless. Vory, for example, took to his Instagram Story recently to shut it down.

He went on to reiterate his loyalty to various other artists as well, claiming that he felt the need to clear things up. “Sorry to break yall hearts,” he wrote in part. “But Drake & the whole OVO is my family forever.” As for XXXTentacion’s associates, DJ Scheme recently chimed in on Garcia’s accusation on Twitter. He made it clear that while it isn’t true, he’s still not a fan of Drake due to the way he publicly reacted to X’s passing.

Diddy Gave Cassie’s Friend A Concussion With Hanger, Ex-Bodyguard Alleges

After disturbing footage of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie surfaced online last month, the Bad Boy Records founder has been hit with a slew of additional accusations. Aside from even more lawsuits, various former collaborators and peers have come forward to share their memories of the mogul, including Roger Bonds. Bonds worked as a bodyguard for Diddy for several years. He shared some shocking stories about it during a recent interview with VladTV.

One time, for example, he recalls reaching out to Cassie’s close friend Kerry Morgan after learning he was named in the songstress’s lawsuit against Diddy. At the time, Morgan told him she hadn’t spoken to Cassie since 2018. She alleged that Diddy had thrown a wooden hanger at her, giving her a concussion. She also claimed that at the time, Cassie didn’t back her up. For this reason, she told him she stopped talking to Cassie altogether.

Bonds says that in the lawsuit, Cassie accuses Diddy of having put hands on one of her friends and giving her $50K to keep quiet. After speaking with Morgan, he came to the conclusion that she must have been the friend mentioned in the lawsuit. “I put two and two together and said ‘Okay, this is Kerry.’ Because Kerry said she didn’t say nothing, and I was wondering why she never said nothing.”

He went on to claim that Diddy hid a lot of his allegedly abusive behavior with NDAs, and that this situation was no exception. “They can’t mention it publicly… But somebody else can. XXXTENTACION Speaks On Sleeping With Jocelyn Flores While Underage In Alleged Leaked Audio

Recent news around XXXTENTACION deals with a lot of supposition, as there were a lot of debunked claims concerning Drake’s alleged involvement in his murder. However, a new piece of leaked alleged audio supposedly shows a more first-hand account of a more important aspect of his life: his music, career, and alleged personal behavior. Moreover, in the clip below, the late Florida creative admits to sleeping with Jocelyn Flores before she took her own life. He was 19 and she was 16 at the time. X spoke on this inspiration behind his song that he named after Flores, and on the concept of his album 17 as a whole.

Still, fans know well that this album is meant as a raw window into the mind’s thoughts and emotions, so this alleged confession actually comes as little surprise. After all, XXXTENTACION already expressed a lot of his feelings on the matter on “Jocelyn Flores,” and while the track never specifically mentions a romantic or sexual relationship, it does insinuate it. Regardless, we’re not sure how far this audio will spread among the community. Folks are still giving stock to people like Ryan Garcia, who recently made headlines for speaking on X’s murder and Drake’s supposed role in it.

New XXXTENTACION Alleged Leaked Audio About Jocelyn Flores

In addition, another recent development has complicated XXXTENTACION’s legacy even more, a tall order for a career already marred with domestic violence incidents. Fans took pictures with his son Gekyume, reportedly at his mausoleum, around the anniversary of his death. Gekyume was born seven months after his father’s passing, and while they never got to meet, he is well aware of their bond at this point. Other fans debated whether it was appropriate to do so, considering how many could exploit the five-year-old’s image and relationships.

Meanwhile, other supposed leaks of XXXTENTACION also emerged as of late, including one in which he allegedly lashes out during an interrogation. We don’t know where these clips and leaks came from, but either way, they caused a lot of conversation. Whether or not any more come out is still a mystery, but it’s a tough call to make. At this point, not only might it not include new information, but it could be something far more personal than anyone asked for.
