The 17-year-old daughter of Travis Barker, Alabama Barker, has heard her fair share of hate, bullying, and negative reactions from fans. She is reaching her breaking point, but she is going to pull back the reins on that. In a recent Instagram story, she expressed that she would not mind clapping back at all of the people bringing her down. She says, “Sometimes I find myself wanting to clap back. Bite at everyone who barks at me.” That is the common reaction to have when someone tries to get under your skin.

However, while living in the constant eye of the media certainly has its drawbacks, it is also a blessing in disguise for the social media personality. The haters, like the media, are going to try and pry information and emotions out of you for their pleasure, or, in the media’s case, dollar signs. But, Alabama is learning a valuable life lesson. This included a custom neon sign at LA’s Bootsy Bellows that read “Bad Bitches Get Birkins Alabama”.

Prior to this outing, fans had been confused as Alabama dropped thirst trap TikToks hours after her father was calling for prayers from Glasgow Airport’s prayer room. Alabama posted videos lip-syncing a Coi Leray song while dancing in her pajamas. Meanwhile, more recent videos followed the same trend. Kardashian was still clearly very pregnant, ruling out the two most popular theories – miscarriage and premature labor. Barker and Kardashian were spotted boarding a waiting SUV surrounded by handlers and security. Kardashian announced her pregnancy, their first child together after marrying last year, at a Blink show earlier this year. The announcement went viral, especially after Kardashian used a fun reference to the “All The Small Things” music video to announce it. Alabama and Kardashian were spotted together as recently as August 18, according to images available on Getty Images.

No statement has been made about the nature of the family emergency, or when Barker will rejoin his bandmates in Europe. Blink-182 postponed shows in Glasgow, Dublin, and Belfast. The 17-year-old posted a video lip-syncing a Coi Leray song while dancing in her pajamas around the same time that her father announced he was returning to the United States. Alabama has posted one other video since the news broke, which is an outtakes video of her thirst trap posting.

No details have emerged about the specific nature of the family emerged. All that is publicly available is that earlier this week, Blink-182 postponed shows in Glasgow, Dublin, and Belfast. Meanwhile, Barker himself was posting images from the prayer room at Glasgow Airport as well as what appeared to be a stained-glass window from a church.

Travis Barker’s daughter is once again making waves for all the wrong reasons. According to Page Six, the aspiring rapper posted a new video to TikTok recently that has fans discussing her outfit choice. In the video, she sports a bikini and a poncho with Rastafarian colors that she should have probably known better than to wear. Many commenters agreed that the fit reminded them of Adele’s similar famous blunder. In a misguided 2020 picture, the “Easy On Me” singer sported a Jamaican flag bikini in a picture that also received its fair share of criticism.

It’s not the first time Alabama Barker has gotten into trouble for cultural appropriation. Last month she promoted some of her new music on TikTok and drew comparisons to many black female rappers. When the music video dropped even more people chimed in. Comments claimed that she was appropriating the image of black rappers and blackfishing. This news was likely very hard on Shanna Moakler, regardless on how long she and Barker have been apart. Moakler’s feelings towards Barker’s relationship with Kardashian have always been a mix of support and criticism. However, it didn’t stop her daughter from being understanding and kind towards her.

Blink-182 is in the midst of a massive comeback. But, the band’s revered drummer Travis Barker’s daughter Alabama’s career is just getting started. However, instead of following in her famous father’s rockstar footprints, the internet personality has lasered in on rap music. The nepo baby debate was stale, but the aspiring musician’s new snippet shared to TikTok might’ve just breathed new life into it.

In the 40-second clip, Alabama dropped a sample of what she’s been cooking up, rapping a whole verse and part of the forthcoming song’s chorus.

Opening with the first verse, Alabama raps, “When we ain’t together when I’m with him, he know that I’m the realest / Ain’t got no opposition all these b*tches in they feelings / But listen who the f*ck y’all talkin’ to / I’m Alabama get to know me I might spazz on you / I’m walking in its twenty b*tches starring yeah I’m cool / I know I smell so good it’s Baccarat and Van Cleef perfume / Treat me like ya momma /Drip me out in some designer / Ice me out like boy I’m wildin’ / You know the type of energy / Don’t treat me like its ten of me / You better not be texting treat your exes like they enemies.”

Others called Alabama out for cultural appropriation. Some chimed in to share that her father, Travis Barker, has publicly talked about his love for rap music.
