WATCH: Akademiks Believes the Drake Stimulus Package is Over

djakademiks

Akademiks has been the Drake whisperer throughout the entire beef with Kendrick Lamar. So his next statement may be surprising, “The Drake stimulus package right now doesn’t exist.”

In case you don’t know what the Drake stimulus package is, it was the long-running belief that throwing Drake on someone’s album or single would result in an extra boost in the performance.

“I think, you know, no pun intended, Drake’s wings slightly feel clipped,” said Akademiks. “The Drake stimulus package right now doesn’t exist. So Drake going on Camilla Cabello’s track didn’t do nothing. That’s a fact.”

As evidence of his belief, Drake’s appearance on “Hot Uptown” only made it to No. 149 in its first week. You can hear it from Akademiks below.

DJ Akademiks Suggests Diddy Claims to be a Member of the LGBTQ Community to Get Past Sexual Assault Allegations

DJ Akademiks Sued for Alleged Rape and Defamation

Akademiks is attempting to advise Diddy on getting past his sexual assault allegations, while he also has his own sexual assault allegations.

Speaking on his Off the Record podcast next to Lamar Odom, Ak suggested Diddy claims to be gay or bisexual.

“One: he gotta come out and tell the whole world that he been gay or been bi or that he always identified as a woman,” Ak said. “Second way is to say that he had mental health issues and he’s been seeking therapy. The last way is to say he apologizes but all his actions was because he was touched as a child.”

Well, all of that is pretty wild to say, you can hear it below.

DJ Akademiks is the subject of a lawsuit alleging he committed rape and defamation against a woman named Fauziya Abashe. He states he will take the industry down with him.

“Let me tell you this about everyone in the industry: if Ak ever goes down, y’all going down with me. ‘Cause I hold no secrets for nobody,” Akademiks said. “Could it be that the exact next day I get hit up by a private investigator that works for Diddy alleging that maybe the same thing has happened in five other instances?”

In the sprawling story from Rolling Stone, Akademiks, born Livingston Allen, is accused of allowing Abashe to be raped by two men that were at his New Jersey home on July 16, 2022.

According to the report, Abashe did not know two women would be present. Those men are said to have drugged her and forced her with alcohol before assaulting and raping her on the pool deck.

Abashe states she lost consciousness during the incident, only to wake up at 4 a.m. on July 16, as Akademiks was raping her. Abashe states Akademiks was “pulling her hair, prying open her legs, and brutally raping her.” She also states she was penetrated anally and vaginally, while pleading for the entire ordeal to stop. She also states she was unable to “move physically.”

The lawsuit details Abashe asked Akademiks about details, in which he showed her a trash can with two condom wrappers, alluding to the woman being taken to another room of the home where the rape continued. Akademiks also allegedly showed video camera footage of the pool deck, where Abashe states she was “lying there lifeless, which did not sit right with her.”

On July 17, Akademiks told Abashe to “get tested,” which led her to believe their encounter was unprotected. Abashe contacted the police and received a rape kit, revealing traces of Akademiks’ sperm. Also collected were images of bruises on her arm, back, legs, and buttocks.

Aiding in the investigation, Abashe participated in a recorded call with Akademiks where he recalled the two having sex and describing the vagina. Law enforcement received a warrant to investigate Akademiks’ home. Abase believes Ak disposed of any evidence.

Abashe did not press charges but decided to sue after allegations were brought forth at the end of 2023. In a social media stream, Akademiks stated, “She was getting trained by my two mens on my pool deck.” Akademiks also stated she voluntarily engaged in an orgy but he never participated.

Akademiks did not reply to Rolling Stone with a comment.

Akademiks had his first stream of 2024 on Jan. 2. During the stream, Ak spoke about allegations levied against him by Abashae and revealed he was in full cooperation with the police.

“This situation went to the cops over a year and a half ago,” Ak said. “Me and my lawyer were openly cooperative because, serious allegations. I don’t care who’s involved, I don’t want weird shit happening around me.

“We helped the police. ‘Whatever you need! You want a phone? You want passcodes? Let’s decrypt our DVR.’ There is nothing they did not see.”

He added, “It was officially ruled by the D.A. and the police that there was nothing there. There ain’t no charges, there won’t be no charges and there’s documentation.”

You can hear it all from Akademiks below.

DJ Akademiks trended on social media to close in 2023 after Abashae stated in an Instagram Live Ak and two of his friends allegedly committed the crime.

“For you to pretend you didn’t do anything? That I just went to your house, and I’m some thot, like we didn’t know each other for two years,” Abashae said. “You tried to save yourself after your friends assaulted me. Whether or not you got drunk or not, I know that when you woke up, you were on top of me too. You raped me too.”

Additional claims online feature a woman stating that Akademiks engaged in communication with her until she was 18 before he attempted to have sex with her and a video surfacing with a woman screaming in the background.

Following a lawsuit sent to Akademiks for rape and defamation, Saucy Santana reignited his beef with the popular blogger.

“You getting punked by a gay dude,” Saucy rapped. “You’re a bitch tryna blame it on some gay rules.”

In case you aren’t familiar with the origin of this beef, Saucy is sticking up for his friends, City Girls, who have been a frequent target of Akademiks throughout the year.

Akademiks Sued For Rape & Defamation: What We Know

Content Warning: This article contains details of sexual assault and rape that some might find disturbing.

DJ Akademiks, real name Livingston Allen, faces a brand new lawsuit stemming from an alleged sexual assault that occurred in his home. According to Rolling Stone, Fauziya “Ziya” Abashe sued the media personality on allegations of rape, sexual assault, and defamation. Since then, Ak has denied any wrongdoing with hopes that this will get resolved in court. This is what we know so far.

Allegations Of Rape & Assault

Abashe said she met Allen online in 2021 and entered into a relationship with him. However, on July 16, 2022, when Abashe visited Allen’s house in New Jersey, she alleged encountering a nightmare. Instead of a private rendezvous, she claimed she found herself in the company of two unknown men, who allegedly drugged and assaulted her. Abashe claims to have been raped on Allen’s pool deck while under the influence of drugs and alcohol, and later, in a bedroom by Allen himself. The lawsuit details horrifying accounts of sexual assault, including physical and emotional trauma suffered by Abashe.

Abashe Submits Alleged Evidence

Following the alleged assault, Abashe said she took significant steps to seek justice. She underwent a rape kit examination, which reportedly revealed traces of Allen’s sperm. Photographs of bruises sustained during the incident were taken, further corroborating her claims. Additionally, Abashe engaged in a recorded conversation with Allen, during which he allegedly admitted to having sexual intercourse with her. Subsequently, law enforcement obtained a warrant for surveillance footage and other evidence, including allegations that Allen attempted to destroy potentially incriminating materials.

On the criminal side, he ultimately never faced any charges, even though Abashe did take her allegations to police. While she “chose silence,” she said that she decided to sue Akademiks after the allegations resurfaced at the end of 2023. Around that time, both parties addressed the claims on social media.

Defamation Claims & Social Media Response

In response to the allegations, Allen denied any involvement in the assault, claiming he was asleep at the time. However, in a video addressing the incident, he made statements that Abashe’s lawsuit argues as defamatory, stating during a Dec. 30th, 2023 stream, “She was getting trained by my two mens on my pool deck.” Allen’s remarks, suggesting Abashe willingly participated in an orgy, are contested by the lawsuit, which claims he “defamed” her by “accusing her of voluntarily having an orgy with his friends at his home while maintaining that he never participated at all.” Abashe’s decision to file the lawsuit followed unsuccessful attempts to privately resolve the matter, according to her lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn.

Has Akademiks Responded?

Although his main Instagram account was removed online just a day before the lawsuit arrived, he responded to the lawsuit during a recent livestream. “My only comment should really be: whatever this is should be handled in court. Just know that, according to the law and according to the police and according to all sanctioning, governing authorities, Akademiks is an innocent man who has not ever been charged with anything of the sort that has to do with any deviancy or anything like that. Has never been charged, will never be charged,” he said.

However, he claimed that this civil lawsuit against him is a “shakedown.” He added that he’s not under any sort of criminal investigation, though mentioned that the current attorney for Abashe is actually representing Lil Rod in his lawsuit against Diddy. Ak said Tyrone Blackburn, the attorney for Abashe, is attempting to gain some sort of monetary gain out of him.

“I’m not even hiding and ducking from a situation, or ducking from the narrative that happened,” he said. “I pretty much told everything. And also I told the truth. The police came, they looked, we gave them everything. Pretty much everything is documented, caught on videotape. They got to see it with their own two eyes. Not only did they say, ‘Ak, you good’ — and this is not just word of mouth. This is, ‘You’re officially clear. We could not bring any criminal Charges. You are not criminally liable.’ But also, anybody else in the situation, was also clear.”

Who Is Ziya Abashe?

Fauziya “Ziya” Abashe is the plaintiff in the lawsuit against DJ Akademiks. In response to the suit, she told Rolling Stone, “I’m confident that justice will prevail and the veil will be removed so no other woman will have to endure what I did.”

Abashe boasts over 11,000 followers on Instagram. Her YouTube page, where she vlogs and shares product reviews, also has over 13,000 subscribers. “African girl with insatiable curiosity.  Interested in spirituality, astrology, beauty/health and DIY’s,” her bio reads. Outside of that, there’s little information available about her. However, she seems to be quite active on social media.

Donald Trump Jr & Akademiks Discuss Fulton County DA Fani Willis “Lying To The Court”

DJ Akademiks isn’t necessarily the most reputable blogger in the hip-hop space, but he certainly knows how to get people talking. Rather than tapping another rapper or industry executive to stream with him, the podcaster recently sat down with nepo baby and politician Donald Trump Jr to discuss many topics. With everything unfolding with Diddy in the news lately, the duo spoke about the Bad Boy leader’s connection with the late Kim Porter. According to Junior, the model was fearful of the man she shared children with. Elsewhere, Ak and his guest compared the raids on Sean Combs’ homes to what Trump experienced on his property.

As the conversation turned more political, Akademiks asked the former POTUS’ son for his thoughts on Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. “The DA, Fani Willis, she’s actually prosecuting a bunch of people that are hip-hop artists. There’s a whole ongoing conversation [about whether] she’s fairly targeting these guys because they committed crimes, or maybe because their lyrics are violent? You’re arresting these guys and holding them for years,” the host explained to Trump Jr.

Both men then began ranting about Willis being a liar after her romantic relationship with a colleague was exposed. “She lied to the court, her boyfriend lied to the court,” Ak’s guest declared. “A guy that had never tried anything criminally was brought in, paid almost three-quarters of a million dollars. They go on lavish vacations together… He’s a civil lawyer, it’s a DA’s office. They have dozens of criminal prosecutors there,” he reflected, unimpressed with the Georgia native’s shady behaviour. “This is a not-so-humble public servant.’

With the upcoming election, we’ve been seeing a lot more of Donald Trump and his family lately. Kanye West is one MC who made his admiration for the reality star-turned-politician very clear, but since then, several other celebrities have taken up behind the MAGA leader as well. Meek Mill Finally Expels DJ Akademiks From His Social Media Amid Bitter Feud

In the tangled web of social media, feuds between celebrities are not uncommon. However, the recent spat between rapper Meek Mill and media personality DJ Akademiks has grabbed headlines over the last few days in particular. However, the saga reached a new height recently as Meek Mill finally decided to block DJ Akademiks on X. Marking what could be the end of this bitter feud. The feud began innocuously enough, with Akademiks linking Meek Mill to a lawsuit involving Diddy, which understandably irked the Philly rapper. This connection spiraled into a series of online arguments and exchanges that played out publicly on Twitter. Meek Mill found himself repeatedly addressing his connection to the lawsuit, something that clearly frustrated him.

Moreover, the tension escalated over the weekend as the two exchanged heated words on Twitter, with threats of physical confrontation and offers for collaboration turning into personal attacks. Akademiks, known for his provocative commentary, did not hold back, continuing to bring up Meek Mill’s involvement in the lawsuit, particularly the allegations regarding his connection to Diddy. Moreover, the situation reached a boiling point when Meek Mill issued what appeared to be a threat towards Akademiks, expressing his intention to go live and implying consequences if anything were to happen to him. In response, Akademiks called upon his followers to write letters to the Pennsylvania governor, criticizing Meek Mill’s character and actions.

Meek Mill Blocks Akademiks

This call to action, while reflective of Akademiks’ trolling nature, highlights the toxicity of online feuds. And the potential real-world consequences they can have. It also highlights the power dynamics at play in social media interactions. As of now, the outcome of Akademiks’ campaign to discredit Meek Mill remains unclear. However, what is evident is that this feud has exposed the darker side of social media. Personal vendettas can spill over into real life with potentially serious ramifications.

Furthermore, regardless of the outcome, Meek’s decision to block DJ Akademiks signifies a possible end to this bitter chapter. While online conflicts may come and go, Meek clearly isn’t feeding into it anymore. As celebrities and influencers continue to navigate the complexities of social media, it is essential to remember the human cost of online Twitter fingers. What do you think about Meek blocking Akademiks? Do you think the feud is really over?

Does Meek Mill Have A Podcast Deal?

For years, Meek Mill has been the voice of the streets. The “Shaq & Kobe” rapper has used his time in the booth to shed light on the issues plaguing his hometown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. But in recent times, he’s taken his advocacy out of the booth and into the political sphere (see his influence in the state’s Probation Reform Bill).

Now, Meek appears to be gearing up to expand his voice with a formal podcast. Continue below for more information.

Does Meek Mill Have A Podcast Deal?

Long story short, the answer is no. Well, at least not one that he’s willing to sign. On March 16, Meek put the bug out there on his official X (formerly Twitter) page. “I want a podcast deal. I have a lot to say on many different levels,” he wrote. “If you have a podcast business moving slowly, I can reverse that! I’ve always been my own media, and I wanna join the culture of black media!”

Immediately after Meek announced his interest, his foe Akademiks chimed in. Instead of trolling as usual, Akademiks offered Meek a one-million-dollar production deal through his company. However, Meek quickly shot it down.

“Not like a finance podcast deal thing, LOL,” he wrote. “I hang around all billionaires, and I’m caked up… You streaming for your chair getting drunk … I’m changing laws and stopping major hood beefs and trying to uplift the culture!”

If Akademiks is willing to throw up seven figures to fund Meek, we’re sure another company will place their bid soon enough. As of today (March 17), this venture is just a dream. But Meek has already shared the working name and mission of the audio project.

Freddie Gibbs Says He Will ‘Catch Another Lawsuit’ Whenever He Sees Akademiks

The Freddie Gibbs and DJ Akademiks war wages on. On his guest appearance on ScHoolboy Q’s “oHio” from the Blue Lips album, Gangsta Gibbs threatens to slap the controversial blogger.

“Smack a n*gga in his mouth for the loot If
I ever see that pussy n*gga Akademiks I’ma catch another lawsuit”

– Freddie Gibbs on “oHio”

DJ Akademiks had a rough ending to 2023 with sexual assault allegations levied on his name. Freddie Gibbs used the moment to get jabs in on his longtime enemy.

“Let the disrespect be as loud as the disrespect,” Gibbs wrote. “@Akademiks quiet as a church mouse today happy new year U rapist ass bitch.”

In case you missed it, DJ Akademiks’ ex-girlfriend accused him of sexual assault. During an Instagram Live session, the woman, Ziya Abashae, stated Ak and two of his friends allegedly committed the crime.

According to HipHopDX, a rape kit was conducted, and she shunned the claims by the controversial personality who stated she engaged in an orgy with his friends.
