Rick Ross made it a quippy line. Metro Boomin crafted the bass heavy instrumental. But Fashion Nova turned BBL Drizzy into a hilarious Halloween costume accessory.
On October 3, the online fashion retailer gained traction when fans of the “It’s Up” rapper noticed the not so subtle dig at Drake. However, as of today (October 5), the listing has been updated. The previous viral images of a Fashion Nova model dressed similarly to a For All The Dogs promotional image (down to the colorful hair accessories) have been removed from the website.
For clarity, the item available for purchase through Fashion Nova was a nude colored butt pad costume accessory. However, to give shoppers an idea of how to incorporate the practical joke piece into their Halloween plans, the brand drew back to Drake’s likeness and the now infamous back-and-forth with Metro Boomin.
Fashion Nova hasn’t released a formal statement stating why they took down the photos. But that hasn’t stopped users online for speculating about it. Both potential libel and intellectual property violation lawsuits topped the lists of Drizzy fans. But Drake himself hasn’t issued a public response to the matter.
Still, he isn’t the only celebrity-inspired Halloween costume offered. A get up mirroring elements of Beyoncé’s Renaissance and Cowboy Carter album element also picked up viral stem for other reasons.
Bhad Bhabie Reconciles With Her Alienated Father
Bhad Bhabie’s fast rise to stardom and virality in the late 2010s led to a lot of backlash online. Her image was especially put into question after her wild interview with Dr. Phil and her mother Barbara Bregoli. It painfully highlighted how tense things were between them and gave witnesses a glimpse into what their lives at home must’ve been like. Similarly, her relationship with her father, Ira Peskowitz, was also far from great around 2016-2018. According to TMZ, it got to the point where her father was formally removed from her birth certificate and was also forced to give up his parental rights.
Then, in 2020, Bhad Bhabie (Danielle Bregoli) was strongly considering a restraining order against Ira. This was because he was spreading abuse allegations against his then wife Barbara. Bhabie laid the hammer down on him for this, labeling him an absent father while also alleging Ira was attempting to draw attention away from her burgeoning rap career. However, the father and daughter have been working hard to create a healthy relationship once again.

Bhad Bhabie Has Been Working Things Out With Her Dad For About A Year
In fact, things seem to be the best have been in a long time and they have been for just over a year. TMZ has learned that Bhabie was the one to reach out via texts and phone calls. These series of communications led to her traveling to Florida to meet with him and thankfully, it was a successful reuniting. That then led to Bhabie inviting Ira and his new wife and her two sons (her half-brothers) to her house in Los Angeles in September. There, they celebrated the half birthday of Bhabie’s daughter, Kali. After years of turmoil and hatred, we are happy to see her and Ira rebuilding a strong father-daughter connection!

Tupac Shakur’s family and estate recently made a curious move by hiring attorney Alex Spiro to investigate the alleged link between Diddy and ‘Pac’s murder. This came amid the federal case and various misconduct allegations against Sean Combs, which have many raising their eyebrows and calling other celebrities into question. On DJ Akademiks’ latest stream, he turned his eye towards Jay-Z, since Spiro is reportedly also his lawyer. Moreover, the media personality alleged that Hov sent Spiro to Tupac’s family in order to further taint the Bad Boy mogul’s reputation, an allegation with no sort of confirmation or charge at press time.
“Maybe the way you send a message to the n***a who might have the secrets on you to f**k you up is to let that n***a know, ‘I got some s**t on you outside that I could bury you with,’” DJ Akademiks’ allegations began. “This might be a way to preemptively get ahead of Diddy getting up in there and squealing like a bird. That’s what I was thinking. Diddy’s in there, and he’s like Frank Lucas in motherf***ing American Gangster, helping the goddamn cops. If you remember, just a few days ago, Cardi was seen recording her workout at the gym just days after giving birth. It’s a pretty insensitive thing to claim, and as you can imagine, it set her off. So, she got to responding, and she explains why her body looks extremely snatched. “Y’all really need to relax.. This is how my body REALLY LOOKS LIKE… My body looks exaggerated in the other video cause I have a 5X faja (body-shaping garment) on… I want yall to think wit yall brain.. Yall was just praising my body couple days ago… do yall think I went and got surgery in 2 days?” Thankfully, a fan came to her defense making it known you can’t get surgery until six months have passed since giving birth. Cardi replied with a huge “THANK YOU” in return. Even though this should be enough to debunk the surgery rumors, we know all too well it’s going to continue.

DaBaby recently joined The Breakfast Club for a wide-ranging conversation, where he once again showed off his storytelling skills. Even thought the tale this time around isn’t a particularly fun one to hear, he engagingly recounted a 2022 incident in which he shot an alleged trespasser in the leg at his North Carolina home. The NC MC did not face any charges for this situation due to authorities determining that this was a case of justifiable self-defense. Even though we are plenty of months removed from the situation at this point, it seems like he still remembers a lot of details from that day, and understandably so.
“I chose not to take a n****a life the other day & it felt great. Buddy ain’t deserve to go, I step righteously. Heal up & live my boy! Just don’t bring ya a** back,” DaBaby had expressed about the incident back in April of 2022. As you can see and hear in the clip below, there were a lot of moving parts in this situation, and a lot of different ways in which it could’ve gone differently.

DaBaby Recalls 2022 Alleged Trespassing Incident
Elsewhere, DaBaby is also cleaning up some other violent situations that he’s been in over the past couple of years, although this one isn’t nearly as scary as a shooting. He finally reached a settlement in a battery lawsuit against him from a man who claimed the rapper physically assaulted him while shooting a music video at his home. This debacle began all the way back in 2020, so to hear it’s finally over is actually a bizarre occurrence for die-hard fans. After all, plenty of folks thought that the case stretched out way too far, although that might be why a settlement was the move.
Meanwhile, DaBaby recently released his new mixtape, aptly titled HOW TF IS THIS A MIXTAPE? It’s his first project in two years, and it’s not hard to hear why this classification is appropriate. It’s just an expected albeit solid collection of bangers and jams to feed fans after a while. Hopefully Baby sees more mixtapes in the future and not trespassers.
