Julia Fox Slams Anna Wintour And Karl Lagerfeld And Promises To Start Her Own Gala

Actress Julia Fox recently shared that although she didn’t get an invite to the coveted Met Gala event, she thinks editor Anna Wintour should pass the baton. In an interview with Daily Mail, Kanye West’s ex said that the 73-year-old Wintour should step aside while slamming her decision to honor late designer Karl Lagerfeld at this year’s event. “To be honest with you, the Met Gala has never spoken to me – I mean look at who is running it,” said Fox, who admitted that she never received an invite to the annual celebrity event.

Fox admitted that even if she received an invite to the Gala, she wouldn’t have gone, since it’s really about politics. “If it was about fashion I’d be there but it’s not,” she went on. “It’s about politics, privilege, who your parents are, and how much money you make.” Taking direct aim at Wintour she said, “Anna Wintour, just won’t quit – how long is she going to keep going?” adding that Wintour’s fashion publication has become more about “commerce than art.” “There is a dis-connect,” Fox said, “American Vogue is not my favorite: it needs to be more fun and fresh and new energy.”

“The Met Gala has a gatekeeper vibe,” she opined. “I don’t rank people in my head based on who their parents are or how much money they have: the Met is not exclusive, it is exclusionary. I don’t want to sound like I’m butt hurt because I love the Met Museum but I want to do more for more designers and people that don’t have the same privilege so they can be seen and heard.”

Fox also slammed this year’s theme Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. She expressed her outrage saying that the late German designer “upheld supremacy and imperialism ideals.” Lagerfeld, who helmed Chanel and Fendi for almost 50 years, was accused of making misogynistic, Islamophobic, and racist comments during his long tenure. He is also known to have mock the #MeToo movement saying he was “fed up” with accusations made about high-profile movie producers and entertainers. Lagerfeld was also criticized for commenting supermodel Heidi Klum was “simply too heavy, with too big a bust,” and called out singer Adele as “a little too fat.”
Fox revealed that she is considering setting up a rival event that will spotlight less-celebrated stars of the fashion industry. The event will also help raise funds for needy artists. “I want to support fashion designers,” she explained. “Me and my friends are hoping to start our own gala and help [raise] funds [for] disadvantaged people and single mothers. I just want to tell people don’t aspire to be like these people who went to the Met, aspire to be yourself. There’s a little boy or girl out there [who] will look at me and not be ashamed – fashion and art is about vision.”

According to TMZ, Woods hired Herman in 2014, which led to a relationship. Once the couple arrived to 2017, Woods forced Herman to sign a non-disclosure agreement “or else be fired from her job.”

Herman’s attorneys state the requirement of the NDA led to sexual harassment due to the nature of their relationship.

A second incident was said to have occurred in 2022, citing Woods kicking her out of the home as a moment of sexual harassment, once again due to the nature of their relationship.

“The landlord made the availability of her housing conditional on her having sexual relationship with a co-tenant,” the docs read. “That conduct amounts to sexual harassment under federal and Florida fair housing laws.”

Herman is seeking $30 million in damages from Woods.

The Moët & Chandon and NBA Collection by Just Don features a limited-edition Just Don hoodie and reimagined design of the champagne House’s Impérial Brut and Nectar Impérial Rosé bottle. The French Champagne House invited the Creative Strategy & Design Advisor for the Chicago Bulls to create a limited-edition NBA-inspired bottle design and custom hoodie.

The limited-edition bundle features champagne bottles and an NBA-inspired hoodie imagined with the fashion- forward NBA fan in mind. The storied French champagne House and Just Don founder are fusing the culture of the NBA with the vibrant energy and heritage of the Maison, inspiring champagne-enthusiasts and basketball-lovers alike to celebrate a season of extraordinary moments.

Formerly a music executive—Don C is a cultural connector in his own right. The limited-edition bottle of Moët Impérial, adorned in an all-black finish with NBA team logos, is filled by a bright fruitiness, seductive palate and elegant maturity, all distinctive characteristics of Moët & Chandon’s blends. Its assemblage is designed to mirror the richness and diversity of the Champagne region’s vineyards, structured with a slight dominance of Pinot Noir, textured by Meunier and enhanced by the freshness of Chardonnay.

Boosie Badazz wants Desiigner to know he is not alone in his mid-flight masturbation moment. Hitting VladTV, Boosie revealed that he, too, has once gotten his rocks off during a flight.

According to TMZ, legal docs state Desiigner would not stop masturbating despite repeated asks from flight attendants. He was eventually moved to the back of the plane and was cared for by two friends. When Desiigner stood up, a jar of Vaseline dropped into the aisle.

But Desiigner had an explanation for himself. Once he was with authorities in Minnesota, the rapper said he “didn’t really get much…cootie” during his Japan visit and was “brick hard” during his flight. In addition, Desiigner also said a flight attendant turned him on, and by flashing her, he thought it would provide “encouragement.”
