Ice Spice Debuts Retro Website, Fans Think Album Announcement Is Coming

Ice Spice has debuted an early 2000s-themed design for her official website. As a result, fans are now eagerly expecting news about Spice’s upcoming debut album, Y2K!. The line of logic is that Y2K as a concept is rooted in the year 2000 and that is the internet era that Spice has thrown back to with her website redesign. However, at the time of writing, the website redesign is the only hint that news about the album is coming.

Spice was “born on Y2K” (New Year’s Day, 2000). Furthermore, Spice confirmed there would be plenty of collabs on the album, including one that she called “crazy” at the time of the interview. Who are you hoping to see on Y2K!? Let us know in the comments.

Ice Spice Gets Love From Barbz At Pink Friday 2 Tour Opening Night

Meanwhile, the Barbz were out for blood as Nicki Minaj opened her Pink Friday 2 tour in Oakland. Members of the audience heard chanting “F-ck Latto” at several points. The animosity towards Latto likely stems from her beef with Spice, who is considered a Minaj “ally” after several collabs between the two. Furthermore, Latto is considered a Cardi B “ally” after the pair collaborated on “Put It On Da Floor Again” last year.

Latto and Spice have been trading blows for the last few weeks. Spice released the diss track “Think You The Sh-t (Fart)” before going after Latto for using her music video footage in a TikTok. Meanwhile, Latto hit back with “Sunday Service” and also referred to Spice as a “little girl” in a clapback post on social media. Monica is the only act officially listed as supporting the tour. However, maybe Minaj will bring out Spice when she hits up New York at the end of March.

Nicki Minaj Hypes Wireless Fest Set, Explains Why She Chose It Over Another Pink Friday Tour Stop In London

Meanwhile, Minaj recently spoke on why she chose to headline Wireless Fest instead of adding another tour stop in London. “Instead of doing another arena show in London after we sold out in the first week, I opted to do Wireless Festival. This year’s show will be a billion times more special, creative, beautiful, cohesive, ugh! I’m so excited. I’d like to tell you guys thank you in advance. Last year was so meaningful but won’t compare. Just wait & see,” Minaj wrote on Instagram. Minaj has been a regular feature at Wireless for over a decade.

Wireless Fest takes place in London’s historic Finsbury Park this July. Other headliners include Future, 21 Savage, and Doja Cat. Minaj is currently set to play at the O2 Arena in London on May 28. Barring any surprise additions or rescheduled shows, Wireless Fest will serve as the final tour stop for Minaj. Are you attending the Pink Friday 2 tour? Are you excited? Shaq Presents His Daughter With Her McDonald’s All-American Jersey: Watch

Shaq surprised his daughter Me’Arah with a special presentation of her McDonald’s All-American jersey during a recent episode of Inside The NBA. Me’Arah was visibly moved as Shaq presented the jersey to her and told her he was proud.

It was a special moment between the father and daughter, who lives with her and stepfather in Texas. Shaq recently opened up to Jason Kelce about how lonely his life is. “Enjoy your family, brother. I lost my family and I didn’t have anybody. You got the ring. [I] lost my whole family. I’m in a 100,000-square-foot house all by myself,” Shaq lamented on The Big Podcast.

Shaq’s Daughter Commits To Florida

Later this year, Me’Arah O’Neal will head to Florida to begin her college career with the Gators. O’Neal chose Florida over seven other schools, including her father’s alma mater, LSU. “I went on the Florida visit, and I had a feeling that’s where I belonged. And that I was going to be most successful if I went to go play at Florida. I felt like I connected with Coach Kelly more than I connected with any of the other schools that recruited me. She really cares about me not just on the court but off the court. That’s important for me,” O’Neal said.

The #33 recruit in the 2024 class, O’Neal joins a promising Gators class that also includes #16 recruit Alivia McGill, the highest-ranked recruit Florida has ever landed in women’s basketball. Furthermore, O’Neal said that the choice to sign with the Gators was hers alone. “My family was just there to support me. I was pressuring myself to make a decision, but I learned I had to be patient. And I did make this decision on my own,” she said. The Gators have struggled this season, going 14-13 with a 5-10 record in the SEC. They close out their regular season against Auburn on Sunday. Florida has not reached the NCAA tournament since 2022.

Latto & Cardi B Go Platinum With “Put It On Da Floor Again”

Meanwhile, despite a lack of new music, Cardi has had plenty to celebrate this year. Last month, Latto and Cardi’s 2023 summer banger “Put It On Da Floor Again” went platinum. Released in June 2023, the track was a Cardi-infused remix of Latto’s April hit. While the original track only peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Bubbling Under chart, the addition of Cardi saw the remix peak at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, the remix was widely praised by critics. “Cardi matches and then exceeds Latto’s energy. Once again, Cardi is endlessly quotable,” Tom Breihan of Stereogum wrote.

Furthermore, the high-energy video was full of brief cameos as Cardi and Latto twerked and flexed across a variety of retail outlets. Offset and BabyDrill both made an appearance, as did LSU’s Angel Reese. Additionally, Cardi name-dropping the 2023 NCAA National Champions led the school to invite her to campus.

Listen To Texas Technician By That Mexican OT

“02.02.99” saw OT whip out some violent bars and a bassy instrumental to get the year started off right. Then, at the beginning of February, he and DaBaby linked up for the first time on “Point Em Out.” It was accompanied by a hilarious music video that was a callback to the iconic 90s crime film Pulp Fiction. 21 Lil Harold & BigXthaPlug Are Becoming Stars On “Gin & Juice”

21 Lil Harold & BigXthaPlug have been two of the most entertaining up-and-comers as of late. Both borrow from their respective corners of Southern hip-hop. Lil Harold grew up in Atlanta and is a longtime friend of 21 Savage. Which makes sense, considering their stage names are the same and he utilizes the “P***y” adlib quite often with a slightly different delivery. As for BigX, he hails from Dallas, Texas. The 25-year-old possesses one of the best mic presences in modern-day rap with his deep and husky cadence.

Both also have their fair share of bangers and big-time collaborations. Lil Harold had some background vocals on Savage’s third studio album, american dream, earlier this year. You can find him on “dangerous” and “letter to my brudda.” He also had a fantastic single with JID not too long ago. Furthermore, he will be joining Savage, JID, and Nardo Wick for The American Dream Tour that kicks off in May. BigX had a big 2023 with the release of two projects, THE BIGGEST and AMAR. Those saw him work alongside Offset, Sauce Walka, Finesse2tymes and more.

Listen To “Gin & Juice” By 21 Lil Harold & BigXthaPlug

Now, these two soon-to-be-stars are teaming up for the first time on “Gin & Juice.” However, this one shares no similarities to Snoop Dogg’s classic. The beat on this song slaps hard with the soulful vocal samples that return every now and again. The bass is resonant, and the string sections add a big budget feel to everything. Both rappers deliver sticky flows as well and it all comes together. Be sure to check this one out ASAP.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Gin & Juice,” by 21 Lil Harold and BigXthaPlug? Is this better than “Sundown” with JID, why or why not? What is your favorite element of the song and why? Who had the strongest performance on the track and why? If an album is coming soon, do these last two efforts have you excited? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section.
