Angel Reese’s Stunning New Year’s Outfit Leads To Mixed Reactions On Social Media

Angel Reese’s outfit choice for New Year’s Eve is going viral on social media and leading to mixed reactions from fans. Many have been supportive of the racy look while others have taken a much more conservative response. After sharing the outfit online, the WNBA star appears to have scrubbed her Instagram page.

“She looks gorgeous. Finally got her lashes done right and the hair color on her skin tone is chefs kiss. Let this girl be a 24 year old. She does not look like Sid anymore, she looks beautiful,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Others were more critical of the outfit. One user wrote: “Let me sexualize myself then complain that people are sexualizing me. She scoffed at the idea of wearing booty shorts while playing basketball but then presents herself as a sexual object on a regular basis. Only dudes that are interested in this type of women are men who just wanna f*ck.”

She further noted that she became a millionaire in 2024. “I was an All-Star, I did everything that people said I couldn’t do and I made it happen — shocked everyone,” she added.

Kanye West Shows Off Bianca Censori’s Provocative Curves To Start His 2025

Kanye West rang in the New Year by reaffirming his love for his wife Bianca Censori, posting some pictures of them together on Instagram to usher in. Her outfit for the shoot was, as you can probably guess, quite sultry and flattering, presenting her curves in a tight see-through top, fishnet leggings, a draping black dress bottom, and barely-there lace. Ye, on the other hand, donned a simple black shirt, pants, and shoes with some silver chains. They’re still going strong this year even amid all the controversies surrounding them as a couple. Unsurprisingly, though, a lot of that backlash is for the Chicago artist.

For example, Kanye West’s return to Twitter and frequent social media activity as of late has distracted fans from some more pressing matters. Many continue to call out his new Yeezy designs as evocative of alleged Nazi symbolism, a claim that he can easily dismiss as a reach and as mere coincidence. But considering the antisemitic rants that the multi-hyphenate engaged in starting in 2022, this feels a bit too far to offer up the benefit of the doubt in many fans’ eyes.

Kanye West’s New Pictures With Bianca Censori

Other Kanye West narratives as of late don’t carry that same weight, though, as people are reacting to a pretty invasive clip of his 2020 lawsuit deposition – and his volatile behavior during it – from the A&E show, Interrogation Raw: Celebrity Under Oath. Many choose to just laugh at these antics and leave it at that, but amid other legal action alleging sexual harassment and other crimes, it’s hard to take lightly with this full context in mind. Hopefully those situations can clear up and find a resolution so he can get back to bettering himself through his bond with Bianca Censori or just focusing on his craft.

Whether Kanye West’s next album Bully even lands or not, fans hope that this dedication to his work will center his mind and prevent some of the more worrisome behavior and rhetoric that’s floating around his name right now. At least he has an anchor in Bianca Censori, one that continues to stick by him despite the scrutiny around them. We can’t guess as to what their relationship looks like, but we hope that Ye’s finding peace within it, and hopefully beyond it one day.

10 Injured in New Year’s Day Nightclub Shooting in NYC

The new year began with a violent episode in Queens, New York, where ten people were injured in a mass shooting outside a nightclub. Authorities have confirmed that the attack, which occurred late Wednesday night, is not connected to terrorism.

The incident took place outside Amazura, a popular Queens venue, where approximately 15 people were gathered when gunfire erupted. According to police, three or four individuals opened fire, unleashing around 30 shots before fleeing the scene on foot and then escaping in a vehicle.

The victims, aged 16 to 20, were reportedly waiting to enter a private event at the club when the shooting occurred. The group included six females and four males, all of whom were transported to local hospitals. Thankfully, none of the injuries were life-threatening.

Law enforcement sources indicate the shooting may have ties to gang activity. The private event was a birthday memorial for a homicide victim, and investigators are exploring whether the violence stemmed from ongoing disputes.

This tragic incident came amid two other major New Year’s attacks in the United States, both with potential ties to terrorism. In New Orleans, a man reportedly radicalized by ISIS drove into a crowd on Bourbon Street, killing 15 people and injuring dozens before being fatally shot by police. Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump Hotel, injuring seven. The driver of the vehicle died in the explosion.

Authorities believe there may be connections between the New Orleans and Las Vegas attacks. Both vehicles were rented from the same car-sharing company, and investigators discovered similar detonators at both crime scenes.

While the New York shooting is unrelated to these acts of terrorism, it highlights the growing concerns about public safety as the year begins.

Jay-Z Legal Team Shifts Strategy, Claims Alleged Assault Case Too Old to Pursue

It’s 2025 and Jay-Z’s legal team has already introduced a new defense strategy in response to a lawsuit accusing the rapper of raping a minor in 2000. In a pre-motion letter filed Monday, Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, argues that the complaint—originally filed by Jane Doe against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and later amended to include Jay-Z—should be dismissed due to the age of the alleged assault.

ICYMI, the lawsuit claims that the assault took place in September 2000, but the legal framework the accuser is using—the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act (GMV)—was not enacted until December of that year. Spiro argues that the GMV cannot be applied retroactively to events that happened before the law was passed, making the case legally untenable. He wrote that allowing the case to proceed would “violate both state and federal due process protections.”

What’s more, in addition to challenging the GMV’s applicability, Spiro argues that the Child Victims Act (CVA) cannot be used in this case, as the assault falls outside both the original statute of limitations and the revival periods established by the law. He further contends that the alleged incident does not meet the geographic requirements of the GMV, asserting that Jane Doe’s complaint—detailing that she was driven 20 minutes from Radio City Music Hall to a private estate—suggests the assault could not have occurred within New York City, as the law mandates.

Get this, these legal arguments are part of a broader strategy by Jay-Z’s team to have the case thrown out. The rap mogul has consistently denied the allegations and has called on Jane Doe to identify herself publicly. In a statement released last year, Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé, expressed their concern about the impact of the allegations on their family. “My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people,” Jay-Z said at the time.

Check it, a judge ruled that Jane Doe could remain anonymous. She has spoken publicly about the assault, though she has admitted to inconsistencies in her account. Despite these contradictions, she has maintained her accusation.

Jay-Z and his team is not playing and they have escalated attacks on Jane Doe’s attorney, Tony Buzbee, who is representing several women in civil lawsuits against Diddy. In a statement, Jay-Z criticized Buzbee, saying, “I have no idea how you have come to be such a horrible human Mr. Buzbee, but I promise you I have seen your kind many times over.” Jay-Z has accused Buzbee of improperly vetting Jane Doe’s case and pressuring women to file lawsuits. Buzbee, for his part, has denied the accusations, and the two are now embroiled in a separate legal dispute.

As the legal battle continues to unfold, Jay-Z’s legal team is pushing back hard against the accusations while Jane Doe’s lawyers work to keep the case moving forward. As the case progresses, both parties are bracing for a long and contentious legal fight.

Lil Uzi Vert Defends BBLs, Calling Them “Cool” Amid Criticism

Lil Uzi Vert is known for their quirky and often unconventional opinions, and they didn’t hold back when sharing some of those views in a recent Pitchfork Over/Under series interview. The Philadelphia rapper weighed in on a wide array of topics, from parenting to pop culture, with a particularly notable stance on Brazilian butt lifts (BBLs), a topic that’s often divisive in online discussions.

When asked about BBLs, Uzi immediately responded with, “Underrated,” adding with a smile, “BBLs actually get a lot of hate. Only people that be hating on BBLs, especially in the boy community, is the ones that got no BBL girls. BBLs are lit, they cool. If a woman wanna make theyself look better in their eyes, I’m with it.”

Uzi’s comments sparked a conversation about body positivity and self-expression, suggesting that if a woman feels confident enhancing her appearance, that’s her choice—and the rapper supports it fully.

In the rapid-fire interview, Uzi also shared their thoughts on Ash Ketchum, declaring him “overrated,” though they did give props to his style, specifically his “denim and vest game” being “crazy.” In a passionate moment, Uzi praised Hayley Williams of Paramore, even promising to gift a pair of Balenciaga shoes to one of the producers just for appreciating Williams’ contributions to music.

Beyond fashion and pop culture, Uzi also addressed the frustration they feel about music leaks. Speaking about the unreleased songs that often surface online, Uzi expressed, “Leaks are not ready to be presented. So when y’all get leaks… when y’all sit there and get 82 of my leaked songs that I haven’t put together in the right way, and y’all sit here and say, ‘Lil Uzi is trash.’ Y’all are literally watching me get dressed in my closet. I don’t got my clothes on yet, so y’all basically seen me naked.”

Whether it’s defending body modifications or standing up for the integrity of their music, Lil Uzi Vert continues to be unapologetically themselves, sharing their personal views with their trademark candidness.

Rihanna Rings In The New Year By Declaring She ‘Didn’t Drink All Year’

Like many of us, Rihanna rang in 2025 by counting down the final seconds of 2024.

Rihanna’s video of her New Year’s Eve celebration shows her and a group of friends eagerly waiting for 2025 to arrive. After the clock strikes midnight, Rihanna exclaims, “Y’all, I didn’t drink all year! I didn’t drink all year!” The post is also captioned, “New Year, New Me.”

While Rihanna may have been celebrating an alcohol-free 2024, some have interpreted what Rihanna said as a joke: When she spoke, it had been 2025 for just a matter of seconds, so perhaps she was playing off the fact she hadn’t yet had any alcohol in 2025.

Either way, Rihanna has seemingly not been drinking much over the past couple years. She presumably abstained while pregnant with her and ASAP Rocky’s son Riot, who was born in August 2023. Then, in April 2024, Rihanna sparked pregnancy rumors when she was spotted pretending to sip champagne.

Famously, though, Rihanna did go day drinking with Seth Meyers in 2019, and Meyers later said, “We drank the same amount and then she definitely went out. Like, she was fine. She walked out, she looked as good as she did when we started. I went home, immediately fell asleep in the hallway of my apartment. Got in the door, fell asleep.”

Meanwhile, in the comments of the New Year’s post, a user named Lorenzo wrote, “We want an album forehead.” Rihanna fired back, “listen Lorenzo! You ain’t cute enough to be calling me by my black name you dizzy f*ck!”

50 Cent Poses For A Photo With A ‘Fine Forever’ ’90s Crush At His Las Vegas Residency

Boy Meets World? More like 50 Cent meets Topanga.

During a meet and greet for his money-making Las Vegas residency, the “In Da Club” rapper posed for a photo with actress Danielle Fishel, who played quintessential ’90s crush Topanga Lawrence on the ABC sitcom that aired for seven seasons.

“@daniellefishel just said fvck it, shes gonna be fine forever. Happy New Year’s Eve. Vegas vibes!” he wrote on Instagram. In the replies, Fishel commented, “AHHHH! I had the BEST time – thanks for putting on such an amazing show. You were the perfect way to end 2024. G-Unit forever!”

You can see the photo here.

50 Cent has never shared his favorite TV show of all-time (maybe he prefers Girl Meets World to Boy Meets World!), but we do know his No. 1 movie.

“Oh baby, I got so many movies I enjoy. I’m a man on the road. Just gimme a DVD player and a great movie and I’m happy. But if I had to pick my favorite one, I love Friday,” he told author Cindy Pearlman in the 2007 book You Gotta See This, according to Far Out. “I could sit down and watch it right now. I could watch it anytime. That movie makes me laugh.”

Cardi B & Quavo Have A Toast To Takeoff’s Memory Amid Cardi’s Offset Split

Cardi B and Offset may face a rough divorce right now, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t still show love to each other’s loved ones, as they all got closer as a result of their bond. That was the case during Cardi and Quavo’s run-in with each other at a New Year’s Eve party this week, and they seemed to share a very special moment. Moreover, she motioned for them to take a shot together and seemed to say “To Takeoff” in the video below. As such, they toasted to the late Migo’s memory, a loss in the hip-hop world that continues to hurt to this day.

No matter where Cardi B, Offset, and Quavo go, whether together or separately, fans continue to pay tribute to Takeoff with them and keep his memory and spirit alive. He tragically passed away about two years ago, and despite everything these artists have gone through since, they still take their time to remember and celebrate. It’s tragic that it took this loss for them to come together and reconcile, but they should always keep that in mind when conflict arises.

With that in mind, we’re sure that Takeoff’s memory could help Cardi B and Offset move forward with their lives and seek a more amicable divorce. In Quavo’s case, he and ‘Set seemed to bury the hatchet and support each other through this tragedy, following months of beef speculation. Also, these dynamics show that the former Migos and the Bronx femcee share more complicated and unique bonds than a simple “us against them” narrative. Some relationships will always take precedent, but that doesn’t mean that these artists can’t still be friends and push each other to their best lives possible.

2025 could yield a lot for Cardi B, Offset, and Quavo, whether that’s more tributes to Takeoff, updates on romantic storylines, or new music. We’ll see how these dynamics continue to evolve, as the volatility of these interpersonal relationships in the past indicates an unpredictable future. Let’s just hope that there are less social media rants and more tribute toasts and celebrations.
