Central Cee Announces Release Date For Debut Album “Can’t Rush Greatness”

Central Cee has spent the last few years building one of the biggest profiles in U.K. rap on an international level, whether through hot singles like his most recent effort, “One By One,” and his blockbuster collaborations. But folks still have their skepticisms, given the fact that he doesn’t have a studio album under his belt among his various smaller projects. Well, Cench is going to change all of that very soon. He will drop his debut studio album Can’t Rush Greatness on January 24, which is a fitting title. As such, we know of at least one major hip-hop LP that will kick off the second half of the 2020s decade.

Not much else is known about this new album, other than a presumed cover art and this release date. As far as Central Cee’s sonic direction, amount of tracks, whether or not it will include previous singles, and other questions, we can only guess. Hopefully it’s a solid effort reflective of his skills, effort, and talent. The London native has stayed busy elsewhere throughout his career too, such as a recent Air Max 95 collab. But we’re sure that he’s been just as focused on this new body of work.

Central Cee Announces Can’t Rush Greatness Release Date

Of course, not every corner of the Internet is down to hear this Central Cee project, an impossible feat for any artist. Some fans still remember his viral Bantu knots which caused a lot of controversy earlier this year, or just don’t like the music that he puts out. But regardless of this criticism, the 26-year-old has a lot more greatness to pay attention to and seek motivation through. We’ll have to see what Can’t Rush Greatness provides, and how it resonates with his audience and others worldwide.

Meanwhile, this new album rollout comes with a bit of a recent publicity push, despite this being more of a negative look for some. Fans went wild over cheating allegations involving Ice Spice and Central Cee, though that narrative already died out. Maybe folks will have already forgotten about this by the time Can’t Rush Greatness rolls around. But they certainly won’t forget the album itself if it’s heat, and we’re excited to hear what’s in store.

Young Thug’s Lawyer Reveals They Turned Down Plea Offer That Would’ve Sent Him Home Today

Young Thug just took a plea deal in his YSL RICO case on Thursday afternoon (October 31), pleading guilty for all charges except the RICO count and the gang leader count, for which he pleaded no contest. Basically, he neither denies nor admits the charges, but agreed to accept them, their sentence, and the fine. While writing this article, the State and the defense are making their cases for their desired sentence, which the judge will eventually make a final decision on in this non-negotiated plea deal. The State requested a sentence of 45 years with 25 years to serve and 20 on probation.

However, Young Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel clarified that they did not accept the State’s previous plea deal offer that would’ve had him go home today (Thursday, October 31) with 15 years of probation. He did not want to testify and did not accept the special conditions the District Attorney insisted on, and thus moved forward with this non-negotiated plea deal. This comes after various other plea developments in the YSL RICO trial. For example, Yak Gotti refused a plea deal.

Young Thug’s Attorney Discusses Previous Plea Offer

Still, various other YSL codefendants took plea deals, so this case began to close up more and more up until this monumental moment. Regardless, we still don’t know exactly what Young Thug’s plea deal will result in as far as a sentence, how it could change the situations of other defendants, and what the implications of this plea deal are. This is still very early in development, and the State went forward with presenting some final arguments about lyrics and alleged text messages. We still don’t know exactly what were the special conditions that Thugger and his legal team denied in their pursuit of a plea deal. Thug’s attorney Brian Steel expressed that they disagree with most of the prosecution’s arguments, and pushed back on some of their evidence and allegations arguing misrepresentation, omitted evidence, and misstatements.

Meanwhile, amid other plea deals, it seems like this case will finally end after making history as the longest criminal trial in Georgia history. We’re sure that Young Thug and company will still have a lot of legal matter to handle in the aftermath if this really is the end, which we don’t even know for sure. But everyone is on the edge of their seats waiting to see what the judge decides and what other developments could emerge. With all that in mind, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates.

Young Thug has pleaded guilty to count 57 of participation in illegal street gang activity, 59 of violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, 60 of violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, 61 of possession of a firearm during a felony, and 62 of possession of a machine gun.

He could go home today under a plea deal but did not agree to the special conditions terms. Young Thug pleaded no contest to the RICO and gang leader counts. The state disputed these but accepted by the judge. The state also wished to seize Thug’s cars and jewelry, to which Thug and his team did not agree.

This story is developing.

Yak Gotti Refuses Plea Deal Amid YSL RICO Trial

Only three defendants remain in the YSL RICO case after three others accepted plea deals this week. This leaves Young Thug, Shannon Stillwell, and Yak Gotti left. Today, Yak Gotti’s attorney Douglas Weinstein revealed that his client has rejected a plea deal from the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, according to FOX 5 Atlanta. He added that he “fully intends to take this to the jury and get our not guilty verdicts and go home.”

The news follows Young Thug’s co-defendant, Quamarvious Nichols AKA Qua, accepting a plea deal earlier this week. He pled guilty to a RICO charge in exchange for most of his other charges including murder getting dismissed. It also comes shortly after two other co-defendants, Rodalius Ryan and Marquavius Huey, entered guilty pleas.

Yak Gotti’s Attorney Says He “Fully Intends” To Receive A Not Guilty Verdict

Ryan is currently serving a life sentence for alleged murder and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. He was given a ten-year sentence that was commuted to time served. Huey has already been in prison for two years and also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act along with aggravated assault, robbery, gun charges, and more. He got a 25-year sentence, with nine years to be served in prison. The rest of his sentence will be spent on probation with five years suspended.

There have also been rumors of a potential mistrial circulating, as the defense demanded one after a mistake from the prosecution earlier this month. A witness accidentally revealed that one defendant was previously incarcerated which reportedly, the jury was not supposed to know. Judge Paige Reese Whitaker rejected the idea of a mistrial with prejudice, meaning Young Thug and his co-defendants couldn’t be retried. She appeared open to a mistrial without prejudice, but it remains to be seen what will play out. What do you think of Yak Gotti rejecting a plea deal amid the YSL RICO trial? Are you surprised by this or not? What about three of Young Thug’s other co-defendants taking plea deals earlier this week? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Young Thug Accepts Plea Deal In YSL RICO Case

Young Thug has reportedly accepted a plea deal in the YSL RICO case, according to reporter Thugger Daily and court footage, and could go home today (Thursday, October 31). It’s unclear what the judge will decide as his sentence, what the plea deal entails, and other details. However, we know that this is reportedly a non-negotiated plea, which reportedly means that the judge will have the final sentencing say. The defense will ask for their ideal outcome, the state will follow with theirs, and then the judge will decide. This comes after various other plea deals in the YSL RICO case following some key deliberations over a potential mistrial and errors by the State.

Speaking of which, the State recommended a 45-year sentence with 25 years to serve followed by 20 on probation. Young Thug also affirmed in court that he was aware of the State’s previous offer that he and his team turned down in favor of this non-negotiated plea. In addition, his legal team clarified that he could have gone home today for 15 years on probation if he successfully completed said probation. Thugger wouldn’t have had to go into custody if he accepted this previous offer in question. If not, he faced probation revocation and 23 years “backloaded” in the Georgia prison system. The Atlanta rapper’s attorney Brian Steel expressed that they “could not come to terms on all the conditions that the District Attorney was insisting upon.”

Young Thug Reportedly Accepts Plea Deal

Furthermore, Young Thug pleaded guilty to all counts in his indictment except the RICO count and the gang leader count. He pleaded “nolo contendre,” which basically means he neither admits nor denies the charges and simply agrees to accept them with the sentence and the fine. The State asked the court to deny this nolo plea and to only accept a guilty or non-guilty plea for those charges. However, the judge admitted this nolo plea.

Also, the State reportedly asked to seize all of Young Thug’s property such as cars and jewelry, which he did not agree with. As this is all still very early in development, it’s unclear what this will result in for the YSL RICO case. But it seems like it’s almost over.

50 Cent Questions Jay-Z’s Whereabouts Amid Diddy Scandal & Beyonce’s Kamala Harris Endorsement

There’s a lot to talk about concerning Jay-Z these days, whether it’s the social media allegations in the rumor mill in relation to the Diddy scandal or his boo Beyoncé’s recent endorsement of Kamala Harris. But Hov himself hasn’t said a whole lot, something that 50 Cent is pretty curious about. “Don’t unban me, because no one’s there to get. When’s Jay coming to Summer Jam?” he asked on Hot 97. “When’s Jay-Z coming to Summer Jam? No brunch, no lunch, no dinner… It’s hot out here, man, it’s hot out here. You know what I’m saying? Nowhere.”

While Fif didn’t say anything specifically about this, he’s roped the Roc Nation boss into the Sean Combs allegations before, even if mostly in a joking and cheekily roasting way. Maybe 50 Cent is talking about something else entirely here, but a lot of people have the same question. Where is Jay-Z? The last thing we heard that directly involved his actions is how he and Beyoncé allegedly reached out to various media outlets about their coverage on the Diddy scandal and specifically Jaguar Wright’s accusations about them.

50 Cent Speaks On Jay-Z

Nevertheless, it wasn’t the only recent Jay-Z remark that 50 Cent made, as another appeared during the latter’s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club. He spoke on how he and Shawn Carter actually ghostwrote for Diddy in the past, speaking on Jay’s legendary creative process and his skillful craft in the booth. As such, you can see that it isn’t all jokes, roasts, and criticisms on the G-Unit mogul’s behalf, especially with people with whom he shares such a complicated history. But then again, that’s not exactly the image he portrays online often, so we don’t blame fans for assuming that they are completely at odds.

Also, it doesn’t help that Jay-Z and Roc Nation apparently tried to keep 50 Cent from performing during the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show. There is a lot to go through here and a lot of mysterious angles that the “Marcy Me” MC will probably not address publicly anytime soon. So take everything with a grain of salt and wait along with the rest of us for what comes next.

Young Dolph’s Convicted Killer Seeks New Trial Over “Insufficient” Evidence

The man convicted for the murder of Young Dolph, Justin Johnson, just filed a motion for a retrial last week (Friday, October 25). “The verdict regarding the offenses of conviction was contrary to the weight and sufficiency of the evidence, and the evidence was insufficient to lead any rational trier of fact to conclude that Mr. Johnson was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt,” Johnson’s lawyer Luke Evans shared in writing. “The trial court erred by admitting gruesome photographs of the victim’s body at the crime scene […] admitting gruesome autopsy photographs […] and denying Johnson’s repeated motions to allow him to sit at the counsel table. The cumulative effect of multiple errors at trial warrants granting Mr. Johnson a new trial.”

For those unaware, the court found Justin Johnson guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and unlawful possession of a handgun by a convict with a felony history last month. He received a sentence of life in prison for the murder of Young Dolph. As for the other alleged perpetrators of this attack, Cornelius Smith – who had testified against Johnson – is scheduled to appear in court on November 15 to answer for first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and attempted murder charges.

According to Smith’s testimony, he acted as one of the gunmen who shot and killed Young Dolph. Per his allegations, Hernandez Govan hired him and Justin Johnson to murder the rapper for an alleged $100K bounty. Yo Gotti’s brother Big Jook allegedly put out a hit on the Memphis MC. Govan also faces charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and attempted murder. Prosecutors set a deadline of November 22 for him to decide whether or not he will accept a plea deal.

Not only that, but Justin Johnson’s lawyer alleged that Hernandez Govan entered a proffer agreement with prosecutors during the Young Dolph investigation. This is presumably so he could provide information about the crime to law enforcement in a way that bars them from using that info against him. However, Govan did not testify during Johnson’s trial. If he doesn’t take a plea deal, he will face trial in March of next year.
