Nicki Minaj Makes Fan’s Day After Disappointing Meet-And-Greet Experience

It’s been a busy few months for Nicki Minaj, but regardless, she recently found the time to make a fan’s day. Currently, the “FTCU” rapper is making her way across the U.S. on the second leg of her “Pink Friday 2” tour. Over the weekend, she performed in Cleveland, OH, and later surprised the Barbz with a visit to a local shoe store.

The visit was to celebrate her sneaker line with LOCI launching in DTLR, and plenty of fans were in attendance. Unfortunately, while most of them had a great time, not all of them had their expectations met. One fan, for example, took to Twitter/X shortly after to share an emotional clip of herself. According to her, she waited all day for an opportunity to meet Nicki but left disappointed.

Nicki Minaj Offers To Fly A Fan Out For Another “Pink Friday 2” Tour Date

“Stood standing all day from 1pm to finally getting closer to the entrance just to announce meets are over. @NICKIMINAJ My heart is broken mother [broken heart emoji, crying emoji],” user @97sbabyy wrote. “Thank you to the Barbz that had my back [single tear emoji] #GagCityCleveland #NickixLøcixDTLR.” Eventually, Nicki heard about the fan’s experience and decided to make it up to her with a generous offer.

“I’ll fly you plus 3 to another city, babe. Pick one on the tour & message Pedro on Twitter,” she told the Barb. Apparently, Nicki was under the impression that there would be roughly 300 fans at the sneaker event. Based on footage from yesterday, there were far more than that, and she was shocked by the size of the crowd. Air Jordan 13 “Chutney” No Longer Releasing

The Air Jordan 13, a classic silhouette that has captivated sneaker fans since its debut in 1997, has recently faced a major change with the cancellation of its upcoming “Chutney” colorway. Originally designed by the iconic Tinker Hatfield, this model gained popularity for its panther-inspired aesthetic and innovative features. The “Chutney” edition was set to refresh the classic Air Jordan 13 with a blend of black and chutney tones, offering a modern twist on the traditional color blocking.

Known for its groundbreaking design, the Air Jordan 13 introduced features like Zoom Air cushioning and the signature holographic eye, enhancing both comfort and style. These elements made it a favorite among sneaker enthusiasts. However, with the “Chutney” colorway now officially canceled, fans who were eager to add this iteration to their collections will have to wait for future releases. Despite the disappointment, the legacy of the Air Jordan 13 remains strong, continuing to be a staple in sneaker culture.

Bold black and chutney accents near the midsole add depth to the overall design. Furthermore, chutney details like the Jordan tag near the laces and the Jumpman logo on the tongue finish off the look. With its clean black leather and wheat accents, this pair offers a timeless style and classic appeal. Unfortunately, the shoe will no longer be releasing.

Diddy Threatened To Slit J Cole’s Throat Over Kendrick Lamar, TDE’s Punch Appears To Allege

During his recent appearance on the R&B Money podcast, TDE’s Punch was asked to tell a wild story but omit the names of anyone involved. It seems as though he opted to reflect on Diddy and J Cole’s fight at a VMAs after-party in 2013. Allegedly, Diddy wasn’t happy with Kendrick’s “Control” verse, and J Cole was defending him.

In a clip from the podcast, Punch recalls hitting a club in New York City when two people began to argue over a big song. These men are speculated to be J Cole and Diddy. According to him, the VIP section they were in was like “the front row of the Grammys,” meaning there were plenty of high-profile people around. The argument escalated when one of them said they’d cut the other’s throat with a bottle if they were to disrespect them again. The one who was threatened threw a punch, resulting in a “huge scuffle.” It’s rumored that Diddy was the one to make the bottle threat, whereas Cole threw the punch.

At this point, Punch claims that a man who was friends with one of the celebrity onlookers got involved and started beating up J Cole. This is rumored to be Jay-Z’s close friend, Emory Jones. Eventually, Jones allegedly realized that he was beating up J Cole, who was signed to Roc Nation. Apparently, he didn’t have his glasses on and immediately felt guilty when he realized what happened. Of course, it’s not confirmed that this is the altercation Punch was referring to. It’s also not confirmed that the altercation played out exactly this way.

“The ratio from celebrity to regular person was like 70/30 maybe. Every section was full of celebrities,” Punch added. What do you think of Punch seemingly recalling J Cole and Diddy’s 2013 VMAs after-party fight on a podcast? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Eminem Hasn’t Run Out Of Rhymes Yet On “The Death Of Slim Shady” Deluxe Cut “Like My S**t”: Stream

Eminem is still firing on all cylinders in 2024, and took a couple of months to bring the rest of The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) to life. Moreover, he just released a deluxe version of the album, the Expanded Mourner’s Edition, with a new “Fuel” remix with Shady Record signees WESTSIDE BOOGIE and GRIP. Also, the Detroit legend officially put his two digital deluxe tracks onto streaming after months of exclusivity, and one of those is the cold-blooded “Like My S**t.”

If you’re curious, the other is “Kyrie & Luka” featuring 2 Chainz. On “Like My S**t,” though, Eminem proves that he hasn’t run out of rhymes in his notebook, flipping turns of phrase and homophones with the same playful cheekiness as always. The beat is a frenetically percussive one, with trill hi-hats, rattling percs, and light but frantic string melodies. Everything else is pretty much within the aesthetic and quality standard you’d expect as far as fast, shifting flows and his trademark irreverence.

Even though many fans expressed disappointment that The Alchemist wasn’t on this new deluxe, “Like My S**t” and the other cuts certainly give Eminem fans a lot to chew on. If you haven’t heard this track yet, find it on your preferred streaming service or check it out on YouTube below. Down there, you can also find some standout bars and the comments section for you to leave your thoughts on the record. As always, come back to HNHH for the latest great rap drops around the clock.

Snoop Dogg Thanks Pharrell For Changing How He Raps About Women

Snoop Dogg and Pharrell’s collaboration “Beautiful” actually has a more important and consequential legacy than you might initially assume. Moreover, the former recently revealed the reason why during his latest interview with PEOPLE. Of course, these two have a pretty long history together, and it’s one that they’re looking forward to continue writing together. For example, Tha Doggfather will be a part of the multi-hyphenate’s Piece By Piece LEGO biopic. But Snoop revealed how this collaborative track, more than being another timeline point in their journey, actually inspired him to change how he stamped his own legacy in hip-hop when it comes to female representation.

“[Pharrell] made me do that song,” Snoop Dogg expressed concerning “Beautiful.” “I would never do a song like that in the ’90s, but he tapped me into the side that I really never paid attention to. He was like, ‘You’ve been rapping about women and calling them h*es and they love you. When are you going to take time to show them that you love them and appreciate them?’ I was like, ‘I get it … put the beat on.’ Since then I’ve been on more of a ‘respect my queen‘ rather than use derogatory words to explain my feeling towards females.”

Snoop Dogg & Pharrell’s “Beautiful”: Stream & Watch The Music Video

Apparently, Pharrell named all the women in Snoop Dogg’s family to prove his point. Elsewhere during this new PEOPLE interview, Snoop also reflected on how this evolution for him – as well as his extracurriculars like his Olympics partnership – have changed his image and approach without changing who he is at his core. “You think about all the things that I went through and where I’m at… It’s a lesson,” he remarked. “To let the world see growth, how somebody can go from being hated, banned from countries, thrown in jail [for] weed, to now America’s most lovable person. But it’s the same person.”

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg’s experience with the Olympic Games inspired him to advocate for the “Hood Olympics.” “There’s a lot of homies from the hood that could run a 10.2, that could high jump, throw the javelin, backflip, swim good, jump over gates and hurdle. You know what I’m saying?” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I just want to make it available for the athletes from the hood that didn’t make it, that probably have certain ramifications, but they still were athletic and they still were good. So, I want to bring that component in and, hopefully, we’ll be able to make it make sense.”

Compton Business Owner Slams Report That Kendrick Lamar Is At Fault For Financial Blowback Over ‘Not Like Us’ Video Shoot

For weeks Drake fans have been waiting for the Kendrick Lamar’s public favor to expire. Yesterday (September 14), it appeared that it finally had. In an exclusive report from the LA Times, business owners from the “6:16 In LA” rapper’s hometown expressed their frustration with Kendrick over his “Not Like Us” video shoot.

However, after the piece was published, one of the Compton, California entrepreneur came out against the story. Over on Instagram, Corina Pleasant of Alma’s Food For The Soul claimed to have been “misquoted.” Initially it was believed that Pleasant and others held Kendrick, his production company pgLang, and the city officials responsible for thousands in lost revenue during the video’s filming.

In a screenshot captured by Joey of Gotham Hip Hop, Pleasant set the record straight.

“This entire post is misquoted and pushing a narrative that we do not represent,” wrote the business’ official Instagram page. “Please, please do not believe everything you read. Words have been twisted, and it’s not right.”

The account then went to clarify their feelings, writing: “The city should have made better decisions with notification to tax paying business owners. We, in no way have any negative commentary for Kendrick. This was a city issue.”

To close, the page also slammed internet personality Akademiks for his commentary on the matter. “And Akademiks you better be careful about misquoting people and twisting words,” they wrote. “We never spoke to you, so how are you misquoting verbiage as fact.”

Despite Pleasant’s updated statement, the business appeared to still receive negative attention. So, in their Instagram Stories they tried to make the best of their new-found infamy.
