It was bound to happen at some point. Drake has just put “It’s Up,” “Blue Green Red”, and “Housekeeping Knows”, aka 100 GIGS, on DSPs. All three songs were a part of 100 GB of numerous files, videos, and random clips that the Canadian icon decided to share with the world. All of this is available on 100gigs.org, a site he launched on August 6. As of now, we aren’t really sure what Drake’s plan is right now by releasing all of this content. Sure, he supposedly took the time to respond to A$AP Rocky’s subliminals on “It’s Up”. But as far as we can tell, none of his bars were digs at Kendrick Lamar.
21 Savage did seem to have his sights set on him on the track we just mentioned, though. The only slight indicator that shows that something is possibly brewing is an IG account that Drake follows. It goes by indigochild369 and in the user’s bio it reads, “First account made some people anxious. Here we go again round 2 “‘FIGHT’”. That message presumably alludes to the plottttwiistttttt page that Drake put together during this 100gigs.org rollout. This could all be a ploy to try and get under Lamar’s skin, which is something Drake did plenty of during “round one”. Obviously, though he would be quite foolish to do that again based on the results. But yes, as it stands, Drake is doing what he does best with this 100 GIGS release, and these next few weeks will be interesting to monitor.
Mike Dean hopped onto TikTok to inquire about a storage unit full of items that apparently previously belonged to Kanye West or members of his team. User @lockerblocker20 came across the storage unit and showed off what they found inside, earlier this week. In response, Dean hopped in the comments section to ask: “Any Mike Dean cases in there?”
While the creator responded “No,” they did find plenty of other interesting items. There were costumes from West’s iconic “Sunday Service” events, various pieces of audio equipment, Yeezy design notes, and much more. Apart from Mike Dean, other users in the comments had plenty of jokes about the situation. “Kim told him to come get his stuff and she stuck it in a storage unit lol,” one top comment reads. Another fan noted: “This is Kanye’s design patterns. This is WILD. This has to be worth some dollars.”
Mike Dean Performs On The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn”
Despite Dean’s inquiry, he and Kanye West had a bit of a falling out back in 2022. After the controversial rapper shared a series of antisemitic posts on social media, Dean posted a statement from Steve Angello online, in which the Swedish House Mafia member reacted to Ye going on Alex Jones’ InfoWars show. “When media attention becomes more important than like itself, you’re on a slippery slope,” wrote Angello. “Saying provocative things to trigger social media for clicks and action is pathetic.” A year later, a fan on X (formerly Twitter) asked why he hadn’t been collaborating with West as of late. “Because I’m busy with much cooler people,” Dean responded.

The viral TikTok comes after West teamed up with Ty Dolla Sign for a second installment in their Vultures album series, earlier this month. Be on the lookout for further updates on Mike Dean on HotNewHipHop.
Rapper T.I. and his wife, Xscape singer Tiny Harris, have successfully had a sexual assault lawsuit filed against them dismissed. The case, which was initiated by a Jane Doe in 2021, has been a significant legal battle for the couple over the past few years.
According to All Hip Hop, the dismissal was officially filed on Thursday, August 8, with the United States District Court of California. Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett approved the order of dismissal, effectively closing the case.
A representative for the couple told All Hip Hopthat the court sided with T.I. and Tiny, concluding that Jane Doe did not have any viable claims. “As Tip and Tameka stated three years ago, these allegations are some of the many false, salacious allegations thrown out into the media in a cheap attempt to extort money from them,” the rep said.
The lawsuit’s dismissal was issued without prejudice, meaning that while the current case is closed, the plaintiff could theoretically refile in the future. However, this outcome marks a significant victory for the couple, who have consistently denied the allegations since they first surfaced.
The lawsuit was one of several allegations of sexual misconduct brought against the couple in recent years, all of which T.I. and Tiny have vehemently denied.
Westside Gunn has yet to reveal the release date for the final project in his “Flygod Is An Awesome God” trilogy, but he has made one promise about it.
PartyNextDoor has seemingly underestimated his star power over the years; a nonchalant pioneer of our time. His impact is undoubted, as we’ve seen the soundscape of R&B evolve alongside him, whether through the seductive bedroom gems that he unleashed on Soundcloud or bodies of work, like the first three installments of the PND series, that shifted R&B each time through nocturnal soundscapes or island-flavored hits that dominated summers. Or even the diamond and soon-to-be-diamond hits he wrote like Rihanna’s “Work” and DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts.”
His mystique has played into certain narratives, such as those that suggest his role at OVO is to primarily pen Drake’s music. But the reality is that Party earned the luxury of being a reclusive auteur who works on his own time rather than becoming a machine churning out hits, which he’s more than capable of doing. “I get into relationships and then music becomes second,” he told Billboard earlier this year. “I think I’m going to take a break from relationships, a long break, and just get back to making music.”
With the release of P4earlier this year, PartyNextDoor is sticking to the course. As understated of a project that P4 might be in the grander discourse of 2024 releases, its impact didn’t miss the OVO Stans who patiently waited four years between PartyMobile and his latest album. On Monday, he touched down in Montreal for the first time in eight years for the Sorry I’m Outside tour. It marked the first of two back-to-back sold-out shows at MTelus, a venue with a capacity of 2,300 – an indication that he miscalculated his demand. In fact, by the end of Monday’s show, he acknowledged that he’d book a bigger room for the next time he hits the road… whenever that might be.
With the backing of a keyboardist, guitarist, and drummer, he emerged onto the fog-filled stage from an oval-shaped portal to the subdued DMX sample from his single, “Lose My Mind.” The quartet of dancers that accompanied him, dubbed the Angels Girls, appeared at the fore of the stage as he played the background and breezed through records like “Cheers,” “For Certain,” and the tour’s namesake, “Sorry But I’m Outside.” But without exerting much command of the stage, the crowd ate from the palm of his hands. The Angel Girls get plenty of credit, though. They served as a personification of the muses that inspired his catalog of heartbreak and lust when he serenaded them.
Though the records off of his latest album brought him on tour, the bulk of his fans have been around for over a decade anxiously awaiting the records that catapulted him to this stage in his career. Party’s catalog from 2013 and 2017 secured him a cult-like following, so records from PartyNextDoor 1, including “Break From Toronto” and “Wus Good/Curious,” washed the crowd over with elation as much as his collaborations with Drake, whom he’s reportedly working with currently on a collaborative album. “Wednesday Night Interlude,” for example, served as a mid-show break for the band to shine, while P’s recorded vocals led a karaoke-like portion of the evening. But by the time he re-emerged after the IYRTITL cut, it was like he snapped into a comfort zone that found him gravitating even deeper toward the crowd’s energy.
The band was the MVP of the evening, amplifying the songs into their anthemic qualities from their original Soundcloud-ready forms, and providing smooth transitions through each song that didn’t allow much of a break and limited the amount of crowd interactions that PartyNextDoor had in the night. Songs like “Loyal” closed out with an electrifying solo and heavily distorted guitar riffs gave “Make It To The Morning” stadium rock-like qualities that shook through the theatre. But, as much as Party’s vocal prowess shone brighter, with or without auto-tune, across his set, the moments where backing tracks played out had mixed effects. In some cases, like “No Chill,” his raw vocals began to clash with the recording and the crowd. In others, it allowed him to dive into different pockets through ad-libs and harmonies that added more depth to the original record.
For day-one PartyNextDoor fans, the Sorry I’m Outside tour marks an appropriate celebration of his career to date and a catalog that’s had a distinct impact in R&B. Perhaps not a groundbreaking trek by any measure, it’s a refreshing one that sees one of the most mysterious figures in R&B finally step into the spotlight and celebrate a catalog that few of his R&B contemporaries could rival. His core fans were treated to several records that never saw the Billboard charts under his name, such as “Persian Rugs” or his reference track for “Work.” Meanwhile, hit records off of P4, Partymobile, and previous albums were given a facelift that matched the exuberant energy of a crowd who used his catalog as a gospel to summer flings and relationship woes.
Yesterday, Latto unleashed her third studio album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea. So far, the project has been well-received, with many calling it her best work yet. She’s even been dubbed the “female Drake,” as fans note similarities between their sounds. As fans continue to sound off about the project on social media, Latto has taken to X to celebrate her success.
The Atlanta hitmaker replied to a post by Chart Data, which announced that the album has earned her a No. 1 spot on the Apple Music album chart for the first time in her career. “Number one, we did it yo!” she shouts in a clip, popping a bottle of champagne. Fans certainly can’t blame Latto for being excited, especially considering all the praise she’s receiving online.
Amid the flood of compliments, however, some listeners have taken the opportunity to point out some apparent jabs on the album. Fans think she took a shot at Ice Spice on “S/O To Me,” for example, with the line “Ice is just water when it melts.” This is no surprise considering the two femcees have been dissing each other for a while. Nicki Minaj, Coi Leray, and more are also suspected to be on the receiving end of some shade.
While listeners still have plenty to digest following the release of Latto’s album, it’s not the only new music they’ve heard from her as of late. Drake also took fans by surprise by delivering 100 gigabytes of previously unreleased material earlier this week. This included a track featuring Latto, “Housekeeping Knows,” which is part of a 100 GIGS three-pack that just hit streaming services today. What do you think of Latto’s new album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea? What about her going No. 1 on the Apple Music album chart for the first time in her career? The “Photon Dust” colorway offers a subtle yet stylish look, perfect for both casual wear and sneaker enthusiasts looking for something with a historical edge. Its muted tones provide versatility, while the distinctive design features of the Spizike line, like the elephant print trim and lace locks, keep it rooted in Jordan Brand’s rich design tradition. This release not only celebrates the legacy of the Jordan brand and Spike Lee’s contributions but also offers fans a low-top version that promises style. The sneaker will appeal to those who appreciate the blend of Jordan heritage and innovative design.
A rubber sole in black and a midsole in sail create the base of the sneakers. Further, the midsole houses an air bubble beneath the heels. Also, the uppers are crafted from photon dust leather, accented with an elephant print along the toebox and heels. Next, grey mesh lines the sides. Jordan branding is located on the tongues and heels of the sneakers.

After just two days of Drake dropping three new tracks on his 100gigs.org site, they are making their way to streaming services. As of just several hours ago, The Boy put “It’s Up”, “Blue Green Red”, and “Housekeeping Knows” into a bundle called “100 GIGS”. It uses the stock audio frequency lines as the cover art, which is the same image that makes up the “plottttwiistttttt” IG account the tracks were uploaded to. As you are well aware by now, Drake had help from a few guest stars to create some extra buzz surrounding these songs. 21 Savage and Young Thug make appearances on “It’s Up”.
Then, you have Latto bringing some flair with sticky bars and flows to “Housekeeping Knows”. If releasing these records out of nowhere wasn’t enough, Drake appears to fire back at A$AP Rocky, while 21 seems to defend his boy by sending strays toward Kendrick Lamar. Speaking of the latter, there’s a chance that Drizzy is ready for “round 2” of a possible rematch with his biggest baddie to date. “Indigo Child”, another IG account that the rapper is following, sent this “threat”.
Hopefully, there is more to come on that development in the next few months. As per usual, Drake is stirring tons of debate with this move to drop all three cuts to Spotify, Apple Music, and the like. As you could imagine a lot of Kendrick fans are feeling that he continues to prove the West Coast titan correct. “You run to Atlanta when you need a check balanced”, one user comments on The Shade Room‘s post. “I hear Drake voice and I turn the song off immediately . … damm you Kendrick ”, another adds. However, the Drizzy fans aren’t going to be kept silent. “Drake the goat. We gonna enjoy this music. Yaw can keep hating ”.
What are your thoughts on Drake putting his three new songs from the 100gigs.org site on streaming? Is this a W or an L for you and why? Which track is your favorite and why? Do you think these could be singles for a new project? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Travis Scott & Quavo Attend USA & Serbia Basketball Game During Paris Olympics
Scott has been staying in the French city to watch the Olympic Games. On Thursday night, he and Quavo attended a USA men’s basketball game against Serbia. The two sat courtside as LeBron James, Stephen Curry, as well as Kevin Durant and more NBA stars led an incredible comeback to advance to the gold medal match against France.
Earlier in the trip, Scott found himself in more drama after paparazzi pestered him following an apparent studio session. He went off on them, labeling the group the “weirdest amount of people” he’d ever met. “Go to sleep. How old are you? […] Y’all [are] too grown for this. Go get something. Catch a vibe,” he remarked.
