Cardi B Seemingly Slams Ice Spice Over Rumored “Y2K” Diss

Ice Spice is currently preparing to unleash her eagerly anticipated debut album tomorrow, Y2K! She’s been teasing the project for months now, promoting singles with dating rumors, smoky pink vehicles, and more. The release is sure to drum up plenty of reactions from fans and peers alike. One of them, however, seems to have gotten started early. Today, an alleged snippet from Ice Spice’s track “BB Belt” surfaced online, sparking speculation that she dissed Cardi B.

On the track, Ice Spice raps about someone “changing her face,” and claims she “took her place.” She didn’t call Cardi out by name, but nonetheless, she took to X with an apparent response. “These b*tches have absolutely lost their mind,” she wrote. “I’m getting all my lick backs on my album tho …ON EACH ONE OF YOU B*TCHES !!!”

Fans Think Ice Spice Dissed Cardi B

“These b*tches can’t see me in numbers or status,” Cardi continued. “Y’all had WAY too much time to catch up. Can’t see me in money, can’t see me in real estate, fashion, and CAN’T SEE ME IN PERSON either… I’m not in a rat race with none of you b*tches!! And ima show yall.” Of course, it’s unconfirmed whether or not Ice Spice actually dissed Cardi, or that Cardi’s latest Tweets were a response. Regardless, it’s gotten fans talking.

After all, it was just a few months ago that the two rappers were posing for photos with each other at a Vanity Fair Oscars party, and shutting down rumors of a social media spat about their Dominican heritage. What do you think of Ice Spice seemingly dissing Cardi B on her upcoming album, Y2K? What about Cardi’s apparent response? Are you looking forward to hearing the album when it drops at midnight? Snoop Dogg Introduces Latest Death Row Records Signee, Charlie Bereal

Snoop Dogg became the owner of Death Row Records after acquiring the label in 2022. The label, which Dr. Dre, 2Pac, and Snoop himself called home in the early 1990s, was inactive for nearly twenty years. Former boss Suge Knight landed himself in legal troubles that ended with Knight and Death Row filing for bankruptcy in 2006. Now, with Snoop Dogg in charge, Death Row is once again trying to find a place in an ever-changing hip-hop and R&B space.

Snoop Dogg signed several artists, including Rhythm + Flow winner D Smoke and singer October London. London recently appeared on the Anderson .Paak & Knxwledge (NxWorries) track “FromHere” from their new album Why Lawd? The track also featured Snoop, who delivered a short outro. Snoop even signed Tha Dogg Pound, who released their first album on the label in nearly three decades. With a roster of up and comers and established veterans, Snoop added another veteran to the mix. R&B and gospel singer Charlie Bereal. Snoop took to Instagram to promote his new signee on Wednesday afternoon.

Fans reacted in a generally positive way to Snoop Dogg’s latest signee. Bereal’s sound is similar to that of a 1970s R&B artist, which fans acknowledged. “We need this kind of music again,” said one user. “Sounds a lot like The Stylistics,” wrote another user. Others lamented the way that Death Row’s sound changed, moving from mainly hip-hop to a roster of mostly R&B acts. “What happened to the real sound of Death Row?” asked one user.

Charlie Bereal (pronounced Burell) was previously a member of the gospel group The Soul Seekers. He released his debut solo album Testimony in 2017 and followed it up with 11-11-11 in 2019. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, known primarily for his abilities on the guitar. In addition, Bereal is also a Grammy-nominated artist. He received the nod for his work on the BJ the Chicago Kid track “Bring It On Home To Me.” Hopefully, the move helps boost Bereal’s status as an artist and he benefits from being signed to Death Row in the long run. Bereal’s debut single on his new label, “Never Gonna Take Away My Love,” releases on Friday.

Childish Gambino’s Disappointing “Bando Stone And The New World” First Week Sales Projections Arrive

Earlier this month, Donald Glover unveiled his final project under his Childish Gambino moniker, Bando Stone And The New World. The eclectic project has since received mixed reviews. While many found it to be a solid last effort, others were left somewhat disappointed. This is expected to be reflected in the album’s commercial performance too, as its first-week sales projections are less than impressive.

According to HITS Daily Double, Bando Stone And The New World is on track to move 35K album-equivalent units in its first week, including 3K in pure sales. This would mean that the album wouldn’t crack the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Instead, it would debut at No. 15.

Childish Gambino’s Bando Stone And The New World Expected To Sell 35K Its First Week

While this figure is certainly lower than one would hope, this doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise, as Gambino has seen a steady decline in sales since his 2020 album 3.15.20. In its first week, it sold 25K, a considerable drop-off from the numbers he was seeing in the 2010s. His 2013 album Because the Internet, for example, earned 96K in its first week and debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. This was before Billboard counted streams towards album sales. 2016’s “Awaken, My Love!” had a similarly impressive first week, entering the top five with 101K.

Regardless, Gambino’s latest release marks the end of an era, and the beginning of another. To celebrate, he’s scheduled to kick off a world tour next month with a performance in Oklahoma and has set the bar high. “If this isn’t the best live show you’ve seen,” he promised on Hot Ones, “After the first song, if you’re like, ‘I gotta go,’ you can leave and I’ll give you your money back. That’s how much I care about all of this. That’s not a joke.” What do you think of the first-week sales projections for Childish Gambino’s new album, Bando Stone And The New World? Are you surprised or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Donald Trump Is Now Using Don Toliver’s Music In His Campaign Videos

Overall, former President Donald Trump is not that popular with the youth. Although apps like Twitter may say otherwise, Trump’s polling numbers with people between the ages of 18-24 are not good. However, he has to change that if he wants to beat Kamala Harris in the general election. She is making a huge charge since securing the nomination, and Trump has been showing some signs of worry as he was hoping to face a weaker candidate in Joe Biden.

That said, it seems as though Donald Trump is looking to appeal to the youth through the music he uses in his campaign videos. For instance, in the latest video which can be seen below, Trump is using the song “Attitude” by Don Toliver, Cash Cobain, and Charlie Wilson. Using popular music is very common when it comes to campaign ads. After all, Harris has been using “Freedom” by Beyonce as her new song. That said, one has to wonder if Toliver signed off on the Trump campaign’s use of the track.

Donald Trump Is Going Up Against Kamala Harris

If Trump believes this is going to be the thing that sets him over the edge with youth voters, he may be sorely mistaken. Either way, it will be interesting to see what comes out of the use of the song. Perhaps Trump will continue to go into hip-hop for some musical inspiration. Only time will tell whether or not it pays off, and whether or not he can win the election come November.

Let us know what you think of strategy from Donald Trump, in the comments section down below. Do you like the use of popular music in political campaigns? Do you believe that Donald Trump will defeat Kamala Harris come November? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Cam’ron And Gillie Da Kid Trade Jokes On Instagram About R. Kelly Photo

Cam’ron cracked some jokes about rapper and podcaster Gillie Da Kid by posting an edited photo of him next to the convicted sex offender and disgraced R&B star R. Kelly in a suggestive manner. In the picture, the singer has his arm around someone who the Million Dollaz Worth of Game co-host is edited onto while the two hold hands.

Cam’ron captioned the Instagram post: “Yo @gilliedaking f*ck going on?!! This where u get the phrase ‘nut ASS n-gga’? We gotta have a convo. 1. Where was y’all at? 2. Did he drug you[?] 3. Did you want to get on that bad? (Pause). I got more questions hit me bro.” Gillie, a longtime friend of Cam’s, replied in the comments section: “[laughing emoji] Dam homie don’t do that I told u I was playing.” Gillie’s co-host Wallo also chimed in with some jokes of his own, telling the “story” of what happened that night. “Cam it was a wild night, he woke up the next morning soaking wet in a closet filled with lollipops & whip cream. He was immediately transported to the nearest emergency room. He did a lot of therapy afterwards. We finally got him back to himself. For years anytime he would hear a R.Kelly song he would scream NOOOOOOOOOO, don’t do it!”

Cam’ron and Gillie Da Kid Trade Jokes On Instagram

Druski previously asked about the photo of Gillie and R. Kelly during an episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game earlier this year, to which Gillie confirmed it was fake. However, he did tell a story about sleeping over at Kelly’s house with members of the Cash Money Records roster. He also jokingly accused podcast co-host Wallo of attending one of Diddy’s infamous parties, pointing to a random bald man in the background of a photo of Diddy and R. Kelly.

Cam’ron and Gillie have been friends for years, and he credited Gillie for helping him reconcile with Ma$e. Their reconciliation led to the creation of the It Is What It Is sports podcast, one of the more successful sports shows around today. Ma$e did not get in on the jokes, but one can assume he saw them. The two are very successful in their media careers, and it is nice to see longtime friends interacting as such.
