Rick Ross Laughs Off Canada Scuffle, Says One Attacker Looked Like Bam Bam Bigelow

Rick Ross Delivers Video for His "Champagne Moments" Drake Diss

Rick Ross isn’t sweating the scuffle he was engaged in after a recent show in Vancouver. Hitting Instagram, Rozay smiled and delivered an explanation.

“I’m thinking about the event that happened over there,” Ross said. “When the first dude stepped up to Rozay, the lil’ short fat one that looked like Bam Bam Bigelow from wrestling. When he stepped up, I squatted down and his eyes had told him what I said.

“Basically, ‘Boy, if I hit you, I’ma see everything you ate for the last two days.’ His balls dropped out of his ass. He never said another word, he did never did nothing. He was a straight busta.”

You may not want to blast “Not Like Us” in Canada at a public appearance, but Rick Ross found out the hard way. Rozay was in Canada and got into a brawl after the Kendrick Banger was played. Ross’s team could be seen getting jumped and pummeled, with a punch getting in on Ross, too. One even says, “You are in our city.”

Just as a reminder, Ross had his own issue with Drake. This incident happened in Vancouver for the Ignite Music Festival.

Burglars Target Marlon Wayans’ Home While Brother Keenen Sleeps Inside

Marlon Wayans Next Special Will Be About Being the Parent of a Trans Child

Comedian Marlon Wayans’ home was the latest target in a string of burglaries, this time occurring while his brother, Keenen Ivory Wayans, was inside asleep. According to law enforcement sources, the incident occurred around 2:30 AM last Saturday.

As reported by TMZ, the burglars managed to sneak into the backyard of Marlon’s L.A.-area residence, shattering a back window to gain entry. Keenen, who was in the house then, was awakened by some noise. However, unaware of the break-in, he dismissed the sounds and returned to sleep.

It wasn’t until approximately 8:00 AM, when a staff member returned to the house, that the burglary was discovered. The house had been ransacked, and a safe and several thousand dollars in cash were missing. Keenen was reportedly shocked upon learning about the theft.

Police have investigated the incident, and efforts are underway to review any available video footage from the neighborhood. However, no arrests have been made so far.

The burglary at Marlon Wayans’ home adds to a concerning trend of celebrity-targeted break-ins in the Los Angeles area. Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.

The Wayans family is left to cope with the unsettling security breach and the loss of valuable possessions while hoping for a swift resolution to the investigation.

Future & Metro Boomin Cancel Several August ‘We Trust You’ Tour Dates

Future and Metro Boomin have been on a roll in 2024, dropping not just one, but two of the biggest hip-hop albums of the year. We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You are credited with kicking off the open battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, which pulled nearly everything rap-related into its orbit — and eclipsed plenty of other things going on in hip-hop, which may have backfired on Future and Metro.

After the release of the double album, Future & Metro announced their We Trust You Tour, but it looks like they may have fallen victim to the same obstacles that have interfered with plenty of their peers’ touring plans. The rapper-producer duo have nixed a handful of shows in August, including stops in Milwaukee (8/2), Nashville (8/6), Columbus (8/10), New Orleans (8/20), and Tulsa (8/25), according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Although they didn’t give reasons for the cancelations, it might be fair to attribute them to low ticket sales, as missed sales goals has been the culprit behind plenty of tour cancelations of late.

The We Trust You Tour was one of the most anticipated tours of 2024, so this is certainly a disappointment to those fans who had tickets. If low sales were the reason, let’s hope future tours (no pun intended) can adjust and avoid these pitfalls.

The Inevitable ‘Hawk Tuah’ Song Is Here Via Plies And It Does The NSFW Meme Sensation Justice

Haliey Welch: You may not know the name, but you know who she is. She’s become best known as the “Hawk Tuah Girl” lately, after the viral video in which she describes the steps she takes to ensure a male romantic partner is satisfied. “Hawk Tuah” has become an undeniable sensation, so much so that Welch just landed representation a few days ago.

Everybody wants a piece, and now rapper Plies has just claimed his by dropping a new song based on the meme, appropriately titled “Hawk Tuah.”

The track begins, “She just hit my line and said she wanna come through / I just hit her back and told her, ‘Pull up on me, boo’ / I been on that drank, it got me feeling rock, too / Told her when she come, make sure she bring the ‘hawk tuah.’” The two-minute songs proceeds pretty much how you’d expect from there.

Plies’ most recent album is 2010’s Goon Affiliated, but he has shared a regular stream of mixtapes since then. His latest is 2020’s The Real Testament II.

Meanwhile, Welch recently shared “three awesome things” that have happened since her life has changed, saying, “Number one: I got over my stage fright. I sang in front of 80,000 people with Zach Bryan the other night — and I cannot sing for sh*t. But I did it anyway. Number two: I quit my job at the spring factory, so I don’t have to eat Taco Bell all the time but I’m still going to do it anyways. [Number three:] I actually have to get ready more than one time out of the week now. I’m not allowed to look like Adam Sandler anymore.”

Cam’ron Celebrated Independence Day By Dressing Up As His ‘Honorary Uncle’ O.J. Simpson

Whether on his It Is What It Is podcast with friend and co-host Mase or on wax, Cam’ron is known to ruffle a few feathers. Yesterday (July 4), the “What You Did” showed way.

In a video uploaded to his personal Instagram page, to celebrate Independence Day, Cam’ron decided to dress up as the late O.J. Simpson.

“OJ was here,” he wrote. “Happy Independence Day! This ain’t really our holiday… But it feels good not to have to answer to nobody!”

To the outside looking in, it may seem odd, but the pair have a relationship well before Simpson’s passing. For weeks before his death, Simpson would appear on his podcast to share his thoughts on trending sports topics, so during a taping, Cam’ron passed respect to the former football player.

“I used to go f*ck with O.J. off the show, when there wasn’t no show,” he said. “I’d go to the bar and meet him, we’d go to lunch. And people where we stay at loved O. They really, really loved O.J.. I just want to say it was great working with O.J., he’ll truly be missed. And I love him like a real, real uncle, man. So I’m really sorry this happened. But at the end of the day, I’m glad that we did get to spend the last few months with him, at least one day out the week for me, minimum.”

Ice Cube’s BIG3 Basketball League Expands With Teams In Houston And Miami

After Ice Cube’s 3-on-3 basketball league, The BIG3, announced it was moving to a more traditional, city-based model in May with the $10 million sale of its first franchise in Los Angeles, the league has once again expanded to two new cities, Houston and Miami, according to Billboard. While the league started out with a touring model — sort of like the barnstorming Harlem Globetrotters — its proprietor said at the time, “Basing our teams in home cities allows BIG3 to engage local communities and fanbases. Bringing in ownership groups each with their own sports expertise, business, and capabilities beginning in 2025 will allow BIG3 to grow exponentially.”

The newest ownership consists of businessmen Eric Mullins and Milton Carroll, who will base their team in Houston, and hospitality executive Heath Freeman will put his team in Miami. It’s unknown what will happen with the existing teams, which consist of the Ghost Ballers, 3 Headed Monsters, 3’s Company, Aliens, Ball Hogs, Bivouac, Enemies, Killer 3s, Power, Tri-State, Trilogy, and Triplets, or whatever became of the cryptocurrency that allowed fans to purchase ownership in teams that was announced in 2022.

In March, Cube ruffled feathers in the basketball community by allegedly offering then-Iowa basketball star Caitlin Clark a $5 million deal to play in the upcoming BIG3 season, a move that some criticized as opportunistic. Still, it seems to have drawn the right kind of attention, too, with new owners lining up to take the league into its next phase.
