SZA told Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg that she surprised herself when the wrote “Kill Bill.” Particularly the chorus, in which fantasizes about killing her ex-boyfriend. “Oh my God,” she stated. “After I said that, I was like, ‘That was so crazy and harsh.’ I was just randomly slightly enraged.” She also singled out the line “rather be in jail than alone” as something that is categorically untrue. “Cause I sung that, it has to be true?,” she sarcastically asked Dimoldenberg. Choppa reached out to Von’s nephew, GrandBabii, and asked him to help out with his show. According to him, he told GrandBabii that he needed to show out for his uncle and he was in, although for being so young the nerves were real.

The latter also asked what song they should spin, and assumed his answer would be “Crazy Story”. However, GrandBabii requested “GTA”, as that was his favorite of his uncle’s. According to Choppa’s post, the younsgter told him he wants to pursue music, “After that he told me standing on the stage performing made him want to be a rapper. Lawsuits in Hip Hop have been a real thing as of late. Now two McAllen musicians are suing Cardi B and several others, claiming that their song was used without permission.
Here are the details … the lawsuit, filed on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, names Cardi B, OG Parker, DJ Swanqo, Atlantic Records, Celebrity Booking Agency, and Warner Music Group as defendants. They suing everybody.
Get this the plaintiffs, Joshua Fraustro and Miguel Aguilar, known as Kemika1956, allege that the defendants used their song “Greasy Frybread,” created in 2021 and featured in the FX series “Rez Dogs,” without permission. The lawsuit states, “Defendant Cardi B, along with other Defendants, has used the song in her new album without permission.”
Furthermore, according to the lawsuit, the defendants infringed on the copyright of “Greasy Frybread” by reproducing, distributing, and publicly performing it in Cardi B’s track “Enough (Miami).”
The document goes on to claim that Fraustro and Aguilar suffered “substantial damages,” including financial losses and irreparable harm to their artistic reputation and marketability.
The plaintiffs are asking for $50 million. Settlement coming? Who knows. Your guess is as good as ours.
