Cody Rhodes And Metro Boomin Announced WWE Bad Blood Is Coming To Atlanta

WWE announced on Saturday that Bad Blood is returning for the first time since 2004 on October 5 from State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

In its latest collaboration, WWE paired WWE champion Cody Rhodes with producer Metro Boomin to make the announcement. In the promotion the duo team up for an old fashioned stakeout of State Farm Arena, where Metro Boomin asks Rhodes if they’re going to sit there until October, which he replies that’s exactly what they’re going to do. They then question each other on why they’re not doing this in their respective tour buses.

WWE’s last Bad Blood event took place in 2004, when Shawn Michaels squared off with Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match. The event originated in 1997 as Michaels faced off against the Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match as well.

The Bad Blood show comes as Rhodes has elevated to the very top of the WWE card, earning a champion’s return home assuming he’s still carrying the belt a few months from now. It’s also a good event name to revive with the Bloodline still going strong (and now having an internal battle brewing). The last time WWE hosted a premium live event in Atlanta, Day 1 emanated from Rhodes’ home state in 2022 when Brock Lesnar headlined the show to win the WWE championship in a 5-way match.

Drake Loses A Fan After Getting His Tattoo Covered With A Kendrick Lamar Portrait: Watch

Perhaps the wildest thing about this entire Drake versus Kendrick Lamar beef is just how lopsided it turned out to be. In the early stages of this bloodbath, there were quite a large number of Drizzy fans claiming he had the edge. That was especially the case after his response on “Push Ups” following Lamar’s verse on “Like That”. However, with each missile raining down on the Canadian’s head, it became more and more clear to a lot of people who was ultimately the winner. Unsurprisingly, there are still a few die-hards out there that are crowing The Boy the champion and the Dot is “milking” “Not Like Us”.

But let’s keep it real. The number of people that anticipated the release of its music video was so large. There were assuredly even Drake supporters eager to see what Lamar would do with it. It turned out to be a smashing success, as there are so many layers and callbacks to previous Drake claims. The video is already doing massive numbers, with it currently having 26.1 million views. Perhaps due how much love it is getting, this fan is now coming switching on his Boy by covering up an old tattoo with a Lamar portrait.

In the clip above, the man admittedly had a rough-looking “In My Feelings”-related tattoo on his leg, so maybe it was for the best. He decided to go with the image of Kendrick wearing the diamond crown of thorns, along with the words, “BBL Drizzy”. The final product was definitely an improvement, but fans online have been roasting the former Drake fan over an open flame. Many are calling him a glazer, a d**k rider, and shaming him for getting another man’s face permanently placed on his body. Hopefully, the K-Dot bandwagoner has a valid reason for getting this done (losing a bet?). But that might not even be enough to save him from the backlash. Overall, though, this is still another W for Lamar.

What are your thoughts on this former Drake fan getting a Kendrick Lamar tattoo to cover up the Canadian star’s? Is this the definition of taking fandom too far, why or why not? Have you been able to check out the “Not Like Us” music video yet? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Foolio’s Family Reportedly Held A Private Funeral Ceremony In Jacksonville

Ever since the shocking news that Foolio passed late last month, the headlines surrounding it have been far from positive. While he did get involved in several beefs with his contemporaries, the amount of hate has been undeserved. Fellow rapper Yungeen Ace dished out two diss tracks in rapid succession. Asian Doll also appeared to be extremely unbothered by Foolio’s loss on Twitter. Then, mysteriously, an alleged hacker got a hold of the deceased MC’s Instagram account. It led to various unsettling posts surrounding the fact that Foolio is immortal/a demigod. It did not stop there though, as the troller uploaded promotions, comments under Yungeen Ace’s diss track, and even photos of the rapper’s alleged killer.

We can only imagine how Foolio’s family and friends have been handling this, as they continue to try and move on. Fans have been creeped out over these last couple of weeks about these developments. It is probably safe to say they are echoing his loved one’s emotions. However, the silver lining in all of this is that Foolio can at least be away from the drama.

According to some photos from No Jumper, it appears that his family held a private funeral service for him. Little is known about the details surrounding the burial as of now. However, these images seem to confirm that it did in fact happen. Foolio’s body was placed inside of a custom casket which appears to have a couple of interpolations of some murals of him. It was transported to cemetery via a horse and carriage and another photo shows presumably some close friends getting ready to release doves. Our condolences continue to go out Foolio’s closest people during this time.

What are your thoughts on Foolio reportedly having his funeral ceremony? Has this been one of the oddest situations out any late rapper, why or why not? What else do you think could happen following his burial? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Foolio. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Burna Boy Seemingly Slams Logos Olori’s Claim That He Uses Outside Writers: ‘Nobody Fit To Write For Odogwu’

Every few months, the conversation surrounding the uses of outside writers is brought up in rap music. Hell, sometimes ghostwriter allegations are even used to kick-start a lyrical feud or two. Although other genres are sticklers about accepting written assistance, Burna Boy isn’t a fan of it in Afrobeats.

Today (July 6), the “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” musician took to X (formerly Twitter) to slam reports that he uses ghostwriters.

“Any name you see credited on my songs are only producers of the songs or Featured artists, NOT writers,” he wrote. “But for some reason, the western world considers producers as writers of the instrumentals, and they just throw their names on there as writers. Nobody fit to write for Odogwu (strong men).”

People online quickly replied to Burna’s statement with a screenshot of the credited contributors on his breakout hit “Last Last” to suggest that he was lying to save face.

“No dey give us lamba jor 🤣🤣🤣,” wrote one user.

Others found themselves confused by Burna’s sudden to flex his songwriting abilities. However, the call-out seeming traced back to Logos Olori‘s appearance on City 105.1 FM in Lagos, Nigeria. During the invterview, Logos alleged that Burna used a songwriter as a result of his hectic professional schedule.

Megan Thee Stallion’s New Album Reportedly Loses 30 Million Streams Due To Alleged Botting

Late last month, Megan Thee Stallion finally unveiled her eagerly anticipated new album, Megan. So far, it’s been a hit among the Texas-born performer’s fanbase, boasting features from the likes of GloRilla and Victoria Monet. Unfortunately, however, it was recently reported by No Jumper that she’s had 30 million streams removed from the album on Spotify. This is rumored to be due to the platform detecting “bot-like” streams. The reason the streams were removed has yet to be confirmed.

Regardless, the reports have social media users split. While many are coming to Meg’s defense, as it’s likely she has nothing to do with the alleged botting, others have been reminded of some of her own “Hiss” lyrics about having bots instead of fans. Nicki Minaj and Tory Lanez supporters in particular are unsurprisingly putting her on blast as a result.

Megan Thee Stallion Called Out For Alleged Bot Use

At the time of writing, Meg has yet to address the botting allegations. It doesn’t seem as though she’s been too fazed by them, however. She recently took to Instagram to promote the European leg of her “Hot Girl Summer” tour alongside Ms Banks. She’s also been teasing some non-music-related endeavors as of late, including an upcoming twerk-out video, and her own tequila brand. A timeline for those projects hasn’t been announced yet, though she gave fans a first look at her tequila in May. At the time, she claimed that it would be arriving “soon.”

She also just recently appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, celebrated her new album with a star-studded release party, and more. What do you think of rumors that Megan Thee Stallion had 30 million Megan streams removed due to botting? How are you liking her latest release? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

CupcakKe Returns After Six Years With “Dauntless Manifesto”

Chicago, Illinois rapper cupcakKe is by far and away not your average rapper and Dauntless Manifesto proves that still. Sure, she talks about some stereotypical topics in her music, but the delivery is truly one of a kind. She blew up in the mid 2010s with songs like “Cpr” and “Deepthroat”. Both were so absurd that they went viral online and gave her a semblance of an audience. Presumably, a lot of listeners were not able to take her seriously enough to really stick around. It seems that she was before her time, as now ratchet hip-hop is all the craze right now. Artists like Sexyy Red, Sukihana, and Ice Spice, are just some examples of this. While these three might cite Nicki Minaj as the reason why they became rappers, cupcakKe started this unapologetic wave years ago.

Her lyrics might not seem like a lot on the surface, but she is a true pioneer whether people want to admit it or not. It is why the return of cupcakKe on Dauntless Manifesto is so exciting. After six, long years with no album, her unhinged bars are still bountiful on this fifth studio LP, but the topics are not the typical fare. A day before Dauntless Manifesto arrived, cupcakKe revealed on X what she was bringing to light. “This album speaks on Police Brutality, Body positivity, Racism, Poverty, Suic*de , Self Love, ETC.” What is also so cool about this, is that the instrumentals are always different. “Hip hop , pop, hyper pop, Afro pop, rock” all land here and we cannot be more excited about this tape.

Eminem & Killer Mike Show Off Their Pens On Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update: Stream

The second half of 2024 is musically kicking off with quite a bang, and our latest Fire Emoji playlist update is here to round up the best of the best hip-hop that dropped this week. Moreover, we’re almost at the release date for one of the most anticipated albums of the year: Eminem’s The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce). Marshall Mathers lit a fire under this hype with the Detroit-repping new single “Tobey” with Big Sean and BabyTron. Across three fast and fiery verses, menacing and minimal production, and combative and confident charisma, this is exactly what fans needed to get them ready for the project.

Furthermore, another huge release on Fire Emoji this week was Killer Mike’s “HUMBLE ME,” on which he addresses his controversial Grammys arrest. As far as the sound and progression of this new song, it’s a hard-hitting Southern affair whose distorted sampling and passionate lyrical delivery still retain a lot of soul. Speaking of passion, Trae Tha Truth and J. Cole display bucketloads of it in big and small ways on the “Trae Tha Truth In Ibiza” remix. Through rapid bars, tender sampling, and a laidback and crisp drum pattern, it’s one of the most pleasant listens you’ll find this week in rap music.

But 42 Dugg isn’t concerned with pleasantries, as he and Rylo Rodriguez prove on the bombastic and irreverent “Case Closed.” It’s a highlight on Dugg’s new LP, 4eva Us Neva Them, and make sure you peep the tracklist for more bangers worthy of a Fire Emoji inclusion. In addition, there’s a similar relentless fire and gritty presentation on Rob49, Moneybagg Yo, Skilla Baby, and BossMan Dlow’s “Homebody” remix. While the melody and beat here aren’t much to write home about, these four MCs take up all your attention.

Elsewhere, Quavo and Lana Del Rey surprised many listeners with their moody and genre-fusing collab, “Tough.” Finally, we wanted to shout out KYLE and Hit-Boy’s grounded and reflective chemistry on the chilled-out track, “Dirty.” Let us know what your favorite Fire Emoji inclusion was this week, as well as what else we missed, down in the comments section below. Check the playlist out above and, as always, come back to HNHH to peep the best new music drops around the clock.
