The Argentina national team sort of took a playful jab at embattled Drake after the Toronto superstar took an “L” after losing a hefty $300,000 bet when Canada fell 2-0.

Argentina’s win in the hugely popular Copa América semifinal on Tuesday was followed by a post on “X” formerly Twitter riffing off rival rapper Kendrick Lamar’s summer anthem, yes you know it – “Not Like Us.” Guessing Argentina was sending a message to Drizzy or clout chasing. Take your pick.

Curious, we get it’s all in jest but who’s gonna tell them?

And why come for Drake? The 6 God posted his bet on the gram, where had Canada won, would have netted him $2.88 million. Drake’s public gambling has been on the downside of luck lately after a few high profile plays as their called in the sports betting world didn’t go as planned.

Goals from Julián Álvarez and Lionel Messi ensured the bad luck continued for Drake, securing Argentina moves on in the tournament.

Argentina is gunning for a record 16th Copa América title, and they will face either Uruguay or Colombia in Sunday’s final match.

Minnesota Twins pitcher Joe Ryan didn’t care who was looking as he was caught on camera pouring baby powder on his nuts in the dugout during the Twins game against the Chicago White Sox.

At the top of the 7th inning of the Twins’ road matchup against Chicago, Carlos Correa was headed back to the bench after hitting a home run when Ryan decided that was the time his cajones needed a cool off.

The broadcast’s intent was to captures Correa’s HR celebration, but the shot extended into Ryan’s relief, dumping baby powder into his waistband while chatting it up with the shortstop.

Ryan hasn’t addressed the viral moment, but we take it his preventative measures will help him go balls out when he takes the mound again on Friday.

Lil Uzi Vert headlined of a star-studded hip hop lineup at Milwaukee’s Summerfest 2024. Lil Yachty, J.I.D., and Rico Nasty, Uzi supported Uzi in the lineup showing why this festival lives up to the hype.

Rico Nasty kicked off the main performances and reports are her set was curated perfectly for crowd that was lit with energy.

Next up was Dreamville artist J.I.D., who performed “Never” and “Surround Sound” brining had the crowd out of their seats, where some were moshing with energy. Gotta love a good mosh pit in Hip Hop.

Then Lil Yachty took the stage. Reports are that the energy shifted downward a bit but that’s expected after a lot of acts leading up to a big headliner.

The evening ended with a memorably performance from Lil Uzi Vert who ensured their place was nothing short of a highlight for the festival. They dropped their hits, living up to their rockstar persona. Closing Summerfest 2024 with Uzi proved to be a winning move.

In a recent interview, Joe was asked about his thoughts on Drake and the rapper’s fanbase. This subsequently led to an interesting response that some may not appreciate all that much. “If you’re talking to a Drake fan, that don’t mean you’re talking to a Hip Hop fan,” Budden said. Of course, the point here is obvious. Joe is saying that Drake has a lot of crossover fans. These fans aren’t always into hip-hop but love Drake for his pop records.

Joe Budden Offers Some Perspective

Budden haters may misinterpret his words and claim that Drake fans as a whole don’t like hip-hop. That would be a ridiculous misread. Instead, Joe is simply pointing out the reality that some Drake fans don’t even care about rap beef. In fact, they may have never heard a Kendrick Lamar song before. The ESSENCE Festival saw Birdman try and form a reunion with Cash Money, specifically the Hot Boys group. Unfortunately, it did not work out in his favor. Lil Wayne, perhaps the biggest star of them all, performed alone at the New Orleans event. It seems that Weezy was fine with linking back up with his crew, but who really knows at this point. Another conflict includes B.G. and Turk. These two have been going back and forth online since the failed reuniting. Even though they all did not rock the stage together, every other Hot Boys crew mate was in attendance. Turk was the only one not to show, as he cited “business” issues were the root cause.

The excuse is pretty flaccid, as Turk seems okay with not rejoining the group. He made these feelings clear while clapping back at B.G. for dissing his absence at ESSENCE. “I’ll say f*** a Hot Boys tour, n****. Disrespect won’t be tolerated, n****. I don’t give a f*** who a n**** is. Ain’t no Big I’s or Lil U’s over me, mane. B.G. better sit his motherf***ing a** down somewhere, man. That n**** don’t run s*** round here, not with me”, Turk vehemently expressed.

B.G. Continues To Shade Turk

Now, B.G. is returning the favor in a pretty harsh manner. It took a while for him to make his point, but here is what he had to say in a recent interview. Overall, the Louisiana rapper proposes that if him, Wayne, or Juvenile do not return, then Hot Boys would not be the same. However, if Turk were to turn down the opportunity for good, then no one would care. LeToya Luckett of Destiny’s Child even caught a stray from B.G., as he compared his Turk to the R&B singer being left out of the trio. It seems that Hot Boys reunion album is a faint possibility at this point.
