Carti has been teasing a new project for quite some time. Last year, he revealed that he was working on music in Paris during an interview with Numéro Berlin. “I’ve been recording in Paris, I love Paris. Amazing,” he told the outlet at the time. “I was recording, in a cave, for like three months, and all the music that came out of that is just chaotic and crazy. Then, I’m in a glass house, somewhere in the hills, and the music there is just very good to the ears. And then, I’m in Atlanta and the tensions are just high and the music is biting. So, it’s the little things like that that keep me going, because I’m just trying to talk to myself.” In the months afterward, he dropped several singles including “EvilJ0rdan,” “Backr00ms,” “2024,” and more, although a full project hasn’t come to fruition.

Cam’ron Fires Back At Anthony Edwards With A Savage Freestyle

Anthony Edwards and Adidas took a shot at the wrong podcaster. In reaction to Adidas including the rapper in a commercial directed at Edwards’ detractors, Cam’ron unleashed a scathing freestyle, criticizing the Minnesota Timberwolves guard for using the term “f–k buddy.” While the barbs directed at Edwards were not too harmful, Cam’ron’s rage was directed mostly against Adidas. Before delivering the finest line of the freestyle, Cam’ron blamed Adidas for the injuries to John Wall, Tracy McGrady, and Derrick Rose. He rapped. “You know Kevin Ware? Google what was on his toes.”

The guard for Louisville, Ware, had a horrific leg injury during the 2013 NCAA tournament. Adidas and Louisville have a sponsorship deal. Cam’ron also warned that Adidas might fire Edwards if he said something the brand “didn’t like.” He alluded to Kanye West, whose relationship with Adidas was terminated. Naturally, that’s not quite true. Adidas supported West through many scandals until deciding to fire him following a string of racist outbursts. Anthony Edwards may have bit off more than he can chew, dissing Cam’ron who was quick with a response.

Cam’Ron’s New Freestyle Addresses Anthony Edwards

Edwards has not yet replied, so it would be best to avoid this one. A basketball player can only become so involved in a rap feud, and Cam’ron has only put out one album in the previous fifteen years. He still has a lot of bars in storage, so he probably won’t think twice about continuing this feud—especially if it ends up increasing the number of people who listen to his podcast. Adidas and any other marketing outlet should take note of this: even in jest, don’t utilize rappers as the brunt of your joke. You never know when anything may go wrong.

Overall, Anthony Edwards and Cam’ron will probably be cool after all of this. Cam had no problem showing Ant love on the podcast, and the commercial obviously hit a sore spot since he likes Edwards as a player. It would be shocking if Anthony Edwards released his own freestyle in the coming days. If that unlikely event happens, we will be sure to cover it.

Michael Jackson Estate’s Funds Frozen By IRS In Tax Dispute With His Family

Michael Jackson’s estate is in a legal dispute with the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and it’s now affecting his children and mother. Moreover, the estate temporarily froze the distribution of trust funds to his three kids Prince, Paris, and Bigi, as well as to his mother Katherine Jackson. This is due to an unresolved tax issue with the IRS, per documents reportedly obtained by AllHipHop, whose current deadlock is thanks to an open audit. Furthermore, this started with an IRS audit that suggested the estate owed $700 million in taxes and penalties, undervaluing the late superstar’s assets significantly.

Even with the estate‘s executors seeing a court win in 2021, a new motion to reevaluate Michael Jackson’s catalog and its worth made this gray area persist. Apparently, it’s because of this question mark around the estate’s value that the family can’t currently access the trust funds. Nevertheless, the estate’s legal team asked a judge to sign off on earmarking a portion of the funds for the family trust, something that the court withheld approval of due to not being able to determine a “safe” amount for distribution. In response, estate attorneys suggested a temporary “family allowance” for the beneficiaries in order to mitigate some of this monetary strain.

Elsewhere, a previous development for the Michael Jackson estate was Sony Music Group’s $600 million purchase comprising of half of his music catalog back in February. Katherine Jackson herself issued legal contest to this move and sought to cover her legal fees with estate funds, which the estate was in disagreement with. In fact, Bigi Jackson filed paperwork in March to challenge Katherine’s attempt to use the estate’s money to pay for her legal processes. This further complicated the situation for the family, and may still be a point of contention.

Meanwhile, Michael Jackson was in the headlines recently for completely unrelated reasons concerning references to him in the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef. Regardless of that, it’s unclear whether the estate will ever see a resolution to the issues represented by this new legal development with the IRS. The King Of Pop’s name, likeness, and artistry continue to make a lot of cash and maintain their ubiquity and legend status in pop culture. Will this long-lasting success impact how the court and the government agency views the estate? We will see.

Lil Yachty & 21 Savage Join Forces On 2016 Freshman List Reunion Track “Part Of The Plan”

Lil Yachty went back to his old stomping grounds not too long ago to drop some old recordings over the course of his career. That familiar place is Soundcloud, which the Georgia creative is still active on even till this day. Lil Boat hopped on his IG story about 24 hours ago to announce that he loaded up tHE CONCRETE LeaK sYstem with a “new” batch of 14 tracks. Some of the tracks have the years in which they were made, and the ones that do were concocted in 2022, 2023, or 2021. One of them, “Part of the plan”, sees Lil Yachty work with someone who should be a frequent collaborator.

That would be 21 Savage and because of that hometown connection, you would think they would have a lengthy history. However, the opposite is quite true, as we could only find two official releases from them. “Drippin’” and “Neck Shine” are on a producer project from Dolan Beats called Most Known Unknown (Dolan Beats Classic). Those are 2018 cuts, but outside of those two, “Part of the plan” is the only other one with both their names attached.

Listen To “Part Of The Plan” By Lil Yachty & 21 Savage

Even with the lack of songs together, Yachty and 21 do share one major accomplishment together. Both have become some of the biggest stars from the 2016 XXL Freshman class. In a crop that featured the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, Denzel Curry, and etc., these two have arguably trumped them in influence. Now, they are back to rekindle that connection on “Part of the plan”.

What are your thoughts on “Part of the plan” by Lil Yachty and 21 Savage? Is this the best song from the recent tHE CONCRETE LeaK sYstem drop, why or why not? Do you think him and 21 need to collab more often going forward? How long have you heard about this Soundcloud account? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Lil Yachty and 21 Savage. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Justin Jefferson Is Now The Highest Paid Non-Quarterback In NFL History

This offseason, the Minnesota Vikings saw significant roster changes. Two of their stars, Kirk Cousins to Atlanta and Danielle Hunter to the Texans, left the team in free agency. They also made some significant additions of their own. They added Aaron Jones from the rival Packers and Jonathan Greenard to lead a revamped defensive line. In the Draft, Minnesota moved up to take QB JJ McCarthy at No. 10 overall. Even though the roster saw significant changes, the Vikings’ primary goal had to be signing All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson to a new contract. Signing JJ would be smart so that they could give McCarthy, their prospective franchise quarterback, a genuine top target.

The market was reset a couple of times as Jefferson and the Vikings took their time in negotiating a contract while other elite receivers received big salaries throughout the league. After much negotiation, the agreement was ultimately completed on Monday. Adam Schefter revealed the terms of the four-year, $140 million contract, which includes a $110 million guarantee. This makes Jefferson the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

Justin Jefferson Signs Highest Contract Ever For A Receiver

Jefferson has been one of the NFL’s best receivers since being selected in the first round out of LSU and moving to Minnesota. Despite playing just 10 games due to injuries last year, he managed to surpass the 1,000-yard mark, something he has never done before in a season. With 5,899 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns in his first four years in the NFL, Jefferson has been recognized for three All-Pro selections (one on the first team) and won the 2022 AP Offensive Player of the Year award.

His new pay surpasses the large contract the San Francisco 49ers awarded defensive end Nick Bosa the previous season. Furthermore, it is higher than other recent wide receiver agreements, such as those inked by Amon-Ra St. Brown and A.J. Brown earlier this summer. Bosa’s annual salary is almost $34 million, but Jefferson has surpassed him by more than a million dollars. He is now committed to the Vikings for the long haul, and in order to maintain his high caliber of play, he will aim to develop a rapport with the team’s new quarterback.

Marian Robinson, Mother of Former First Lady Michelle Obama, Passes Away at 86

Marian Robinson, Mother of Former First Lady Michelle Obama, Passes Away at 86

In sad news, Marian Robinson, mother of former First Lady Michelle Obama and mother-in-law of former President Barack Obama, has died at the age of 86, the Obama family announced on Friday.

“My mom Marian Robinson was my rock, always there for whatever I needed,” said Michelle Obama in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “She was the same steady backstop for our entire family, and we are heartbroken to share she passed away today.”

The Obamas, a beloved American first family, shared a tribute to Robinson’s character and life on Barack Obama’s Medium account, stating, “Her wisdom came off as almost innate, as something she was born with, but in reality it was hard-earned, fashioned by her deep understanding that the world’s roughest edges could always be sanded down with a little grace.”

Robinson’s journey was storied, from growing up in a heavily segregated South Side of Chicago to becoming a constant presence in the White House, which was detailed in the tribute. She raised her children, Michelle and Craig, with her husband, Fraser Robinson. The family recounted her support when Michelle married Barack Obama, “a guy crazy enough to go into politics,” and how she held his hand when he became the first Black president in 2008.

At the White House, Robinson helped care for her grandchildren, Malia and Sasha, and asked to meet the Pope. Afterward, she returned to Chicago, enjoying family activities and instilling confidence and self-worth in her children and grandchildren.

The family wrote, “From infancy through adulthood, she stood secondary watch over her grandchildren’s growth and development, inspiring them, listening to them, telling them she was proud of them, making them feel loved, like they were remarkable in every way.”

Craig Robinson, his wife Kelly, and their children also signed the heartfelt tribute. The family expressed comfort in knowing that Marian has reunited with her husband Fraser, who passed away in 1991, saying, “She’s pulled up her TV tray next to his recliner, that they’re clinking their highball glasses as she’s catching him up with the stories about this wild, beautiful ride. She’s missed him so.”

Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul Bout Officially Postponed Iron Mike’s Medical Scare

Mike Tyson is 'Feeling 100%' After Medical Scare And Trash Talks Jake Paul

Whelp, that changed pretty quickly. The highly anticipated boxing bout between Jake Paul and iconic heavyweight former champion Mike Tyson has been postponed due to Tyson’s recent medical scare, or as some called it, an emergency. Get this: Most Valuable Promotions, Paul’s boxing promotion company, made the official announcement. Paul expressed his disappointment in a video posted to X, saying he was “heartbroken” but still willing to fight Tyson once he recovered.

The New York Post’s Ryan Glasspiegel and Matt Ehalt reported that Tyson, 57, experienced an ulcer flare-up that caused nausea and dizziness just before landing from a Miami to Los Angeles flight on May 26. Tyson’s representatives have since stated that the former heavyweight champion is “doing great.” Tyson himself confirmed he is “feeling 100 percent.” The super hyped-up fight, which was set for July 20 at AT&T Stadium, will have a new date announced on June 7. Check out both fighters’ statements following the postponement.

Tyson said, “I want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding during this time. Unfortunately, due to my ulcer flareup, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover. My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon. Jake Paul, this may have bought you some time, but in the end you will still be knocked out and out of boxing for good. I appreciate everyone’s patience and can’t wait to deliver an unforgettable performance later this year.”

Paul went on to add, “I fully support postponing the event so Mike Tyson has no excuses come fight night. My fans know I don’t want to face Iron Mike at anything but his best, but let there be no mistake – when he steps into the ring with me, I will be ready to claim my W with a sensational finish. Paul vs Tyson will be one for the ages, and I promise to bring my best for this once-in-a-lifetime matchup.”

ICYMI, Jake Paul is a 27-year-old social media star turned boxer and holds a 9-1 professional record, including six knockouts, with victories over former MMA stars like Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley (twice), Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz. His only defeat was a split decision to Tommy Fury. We shouldn’t have to recap who Mike Tyson is, but he once was the undisputed world heavyweight champion, began his career with a 37-0 record, and ended it at 50-6 (two no-contests).
