FERG Drops Off Exciting New Single “Roemello” Amid Supposed Rebrand

For those who may not have noticed, FERG has recently taken the “A$AP” out of his name. Overall, this has led to lots of speculation about whether or not he is still in Always Strive And Prosper. Of course, he came up as part of A$AP Mob and if he was truly leaving the collective, it would be the end of an era. That said, FERG is back to releasing music, and there is no doubt that fans are excited about that concept. Most recently, he came through with the song “MDMX” which proved to be a banger.

Today, FERG blessed us all over again. Although this time, he did so with a brand-new effort called “Roemello.” You can watch the video below, which is part of the Snapgod’s Secret Tape series. This features a VHS aesthetic that really gives you some 90s and early 2000s vibes. As for the song itself, it is an uptempo banger with thumping synths and fast drums that FERG absolutely glides over. He gives off some braggadocious bars as well, which helps give the track more oomph.

FERG Continues To Impress

It will be interesting to see where FERG takes this sound. As it stands, he hasn’t given much information in terms of whether or not a new album is coming. Moreover, fans have not been made privy to the reasons behind the name change. Whatever the case may be, it is clear that FERG is in a new era, which is exciting to say the least. Hopefully, this leads to more new music very soon.

Sportswriters frequently have harsh opinions on the topics they write about. It’s required for the job. It is the responsibility of sports writers to speak their minds and tell it like it is. Additionally, it is all well and good to voice criticism of a team or individual if they are doing poorly on the court or exhibiting bad behavior off it. NBA fans are criticizing a recent article on Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns for going beyond critique. Furthermore, due to its insulting tone and lack of substantive critique, a recent SB Nation essay attacking Towns has drawn outrage from Minnesota Timberwolves supporters.

According to fans, there was a great example of unfair and poor criticism and writing in an SB Nation column by Abe Beame that was published on Tuesday, titled “An ode to Karl-Anthony Towns, the most annoying guy in the NBA.” Good sports writers will strive to be fair and avoid unwarranted and unnecessary criticisms. Fans say that Beame was not fair and reveled in unnecessary and personal criticism towards Towns. Overall, the piece has been derided by fans as an attempt to tear down a player for no real reason.

Fans Come To Karl-Anthony Towns Defense Over Article

The column’s insulting and nonconstructive criticism has drawn criticism from Minnesota Timberwolves supporters. The article started a discussion on where to draw the line in sports journalism between discourteous comments and constructive criticism. Additionally, fans also noted that although the article is over 1600 words, only 40 words describe Town’s performance in the Western Conference Finals. Ultimately, Fans say It was a pretentious way of stating that Towns is annoying.

The internet has called out the piece, saying there was really nothing substantial to criticize about the article. Fans are saying that the sports writing was subpar, without any of the components that elevate a column. Yes, it was critical, but it wasn’t about anything significant. Additionally, some of the barbs included that Towns looks annoying and that he’s goofy, weird, and awkward. Furthermore, Towns was also called a “tryhard,” which seems like a strange insult for a professional athlete. Overall, the article has sparked a lot of backlash and discussion around what is valid criticism and what is just mean-spirited insults.

It’s no surprise then that dealing with all that money can be complicated and a recent report looked into some of the ways the “Rich Baby Daddy” is going so. A CBC News clip dug into some of the details related to where exactly his financial priorities rest.

In the clip they reveal the surprising amount of business ventures Drake has embarked on over the years and how many are still active. They investigate into the viral claim that he’s involved in more than 20 businesses and what they find is pretty surprising. CBC reportedly uncovered more than 50 different businesses in which the rapper’s assets exist. They conclude that portion of the story by speaking to a financial expert about their findings. The expert reveals that what he’s doing is actually pretty common among those who have amassed quite a bit of money and a pretty good way to protect their assets from potential creditors. Drake Has Assets In More Than 50 Companies

Drake is still picking up the pieces from his all-in beef with Kendrick Lamar earlier this year. He dropped a new track with Sexyy Red over the weekend. He also reportedly has a song on the upcoming new Camila Cabello album.

Recently, the songstress sat down for an interview with Carlos King, who didn’t shy away from throwing plenty of shade JR’s way. King mocked JR’s appearance, referring to him as “Colonel Sanders” multiple times. He even accused Braxton of trying to keep her engagement on the low by hiding her ring. She laughed off the jokes at the time, though his reaction to the debacle appears to have made her reconsider.

Shortly after the interview, JR took to social media to share his take on the jokes, making it clear that he didn’t appreciate the fact that nobody came to his defense. “Your shade creates uncertainty and your people thrive on stating what you never say,” he said in part. “I’m too graceful and that’s coming to an end.”

Tamar Braxton Says She’s “Embarrassed” By How She Made Her Fiancé Feel

Earlier today, Braxton responded with a lengthy post on her Instagram Story, in which she apologized for hurting JR’s feelings. “When you truly love someone, hurting the person that you love is far worse than being hurt BY the one you love,” she wrote. “I’m new to true love and loving myself. I’m so sorry that it’s you that has to feel the trial and error.“

“I wish for the opportunity to give an apology and be forgiven in it ALL. In relationships, we take being forgiven for granted. It’s a blessing to be able to say I’m sorry and see another day in the war of love in this together. No matter how much I feel like I was right…you felt wronged. Diddy Was Allegedly “Jealous” Of 2Pac & The Notorious B.I.G.’s Friendship

Kirk Burrowes, a co-founding partner and former president of Bad Boy, says Sean “Diddy” Combs was always “jealous” of the initial friendship between 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G. Speaking with Rolling Stone, he claimed that Combs was fond of ‘Pac but the feeling wasn’t mutual. Instead, the legendary West Coast rapper was more interested in bonding with Biggie. “There was someone on the sidelines, jealous,” Burrowes remarked of Diddy.

Rolling Stone corroborated the feelings when speaking with hip-hop photographer Monique Bunn. “Pac didn’t have any kind of respect for Puff,” Bunn said, adding that ‘Pac viewed Combs as a “corny executive.” Burrowes also explained that the Bad Boy crew studied ‘Pac’s hit song, “I Get Around,” as an inspiration for finding mainstream hip-hop success.

Elsewhere in Rolling Stone’s piece on the disgraced music executive, the outlet reports on a new allegation stemming from Diddy’s time at Howard University. They cite a friend of Diddy’s college girlfriend who recalled a particularly violent incident. They claimed Diddy showed up “belligerent” outside of their dorm and “screamed and hollered and acted a stone fool until she [the girlfriend] came downstairs,” at which point, Diddy allegedly beat her “all over the place” with a belt and was “screaming at the top of his lungs.” They spoke with multiple other alumni who claimed to have witnessed the alleged incident.

Rolling Stone Investigates Diddy

Diddy’s lawyer, Jonathan Davis, labeled the outlet’s sources “unreliable” in a response to a request for comment on the story. The new allegations come after CNN published a video of Diddy assaulting Cassie back in 2016. He has since apologized for that incident. The Sixers Are Rumored To Give Jimmy Butler A Max Contract If He Is Traded

Following a disappointing season, the Philadelphia 76ers are gearing up for a major offseason. With only Joel Embiid and Paul Reed having contracts until the summer, the team is likely to invest heavily in Tyrese Maxey to support their MVP Embiid. The organization has significant financial resources this summer and is reportedly eyeing a potential reunion with Miami’s superstar, Jimmy Butler. The organization would be willing and able to offer Jimmy Butler a max deal should the Miami Heat trade him. They wouldn’t mind spending it on an old friend, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Jimmy Butler played for the Sixers in the past. Many feel like it was a mistake to let him go in favor of Ben Simmons. All in all, Butler may be headed back to his old stomping grounds. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, “The Sixers view him as a fallback option if they are unable to sign Paul George in free agency. And, according to sources, the Sixers are prepared to give Butler a maximum-salary extension if things align and he forces a trade out of Miami.”

The Sixers Want Jimmy Butler On A Max Deal

Butler finds himself in an odd situation where he can sign a two-year maximum deal but cannot become a free agent until the following summer. In spite of this, Pat Riley gave the impression that he is not in a rush to try to move Butler or to pay his All-Star guard, who turns 35 in September. Jimmy Butler is in control of the situation. He might decide to apply some pressure to the organization to trade him. 

The fact that Butler, of course, was a player for the Sixers before the organization acquired him in a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves after he forced his way out heightens the intrigue surrounding this situation. However, following that year, he became a free agent and was sent to Miami in a sign-and-trade. Nevertheless, he only played 55 games and went on one playoff run with the franchise. Over the years, Embiid and Butler have continued to be complimentary to one another, even after he departed the club. Overall, we could see Jimmy Butler return to Philly and try and win a championship with Embiid.

Drake Has A Solo Track On Camila Cabello’s Upcoming Album, She Reveals

Now, Drake is gearing up to appear on Cabello’s upcoming album, C, XOXO, which is slated for release on June 28, 2024. Moreover, he’ll have an entire solo track on the LP, as well as a standard feature. The former Fifth Harmony star explained the decision during a recent interview with Billboard, revealing that while it was Drake’s idea originally, she’s totally here for it.
