Aubrey O’Day Tears Apart Diddy’s Apology With Scathing Twitter Rant

Once again everyone is talking about Diddy. And once again not many have good things to say. That’s because last week CNN shared a video of the rap mogul appearing to physically abuse Cassie. It reminded fans that his recent string of controversies all got started last year when Cassie sued him. Though the lawsuit was settled very quickly it turned into the first in a series of dominoes that’s resulted in months of trouble for the rap figure. One person who has plenty of experience with Diddy himself is Aubrey O’Day, and she’s consistently commented on his situation publicly as it develops. In her most recent statement, she took aim at Diddy’s recent apology.

Diddy shared a video publicly apologizing for his actions in the video, though many took issue with the video. As O’Day points out, it’s a very different kind of claim than the one he made when the allegations were originally leveled. “Diddy did not apologize to Cassie. He apologized to the world for seeing what he did. He says he’s ‘disgusted w himself now, and he was disgusted w himself then’.. but apparently he wasn’t disgusted enough w himself to not PIN this statement out calling her a liar & denying all of it.. leave god and mercy out of this, they aren’t present here, and you know it,” her tweet reads. Aubrey O’Day’s Response To Diddy’s Apology

O’Day isn’t the only one reacting to Diddy’s apology video. Charlamagne The God recently shared his thoughts on the clip. He questioned whether or not Diddy is actually feeling any remorse in the clip and if his apology is even honest.

Sexyy Red is on a mission to #MakeAmericaSexyyAgain. The St. Louis rapper announced her new EP, In Sexyy We Trust, just ahead of the weekend, revealing its cover art and release date: May 24, the start of Memorial Day weekend.

Big Sexyy has had an eventful year so far. In February, she had her second child after appearing in Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy” music video.

Since then, she’s appeared on the bills for a diverse array of music festivals, including The Roots Picnic, Dreamville Festival, and Hangout Festival. At the latter, she apparently hung out backstage with Lana Del Rey; the resulting video of the two dancing to Sexyy’s latest hit, “Get It Sexyy,” has been amusing fans over at X (RIP, Twitter.com).

Lana wasn’t the only surprising star that Sexyy’s been hanging out with lately. Early this month, the St. Louis native popped out to dance along with Zach Bryan during his Quittin Time Tour performance in her hometown, delighting the home of the Gateway Arch. Next up for Sexyy after dropping her new EP? She’s one of the performers billed to take the stage at New York’s Hot97 Summer Jam.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams Is ‘Considering’ Revoking Diddy’s Key To The City, As He Explained

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is aware of this weekend’s developments involving Sean “Diddy” Combs. Mayor Adams joined PIX11 News on Monday morning, May 20, and was asked about “possibility rescinding” the Key To The City bestowed upon him by Mayor Adams last September.

“I think all of us were deeply disturbed by watching that chilling video of the young lady being assaulted by him, and the committee and the team — we’ve never rescinded a key before, but we are now sitting down to see what the next steps forward are going to be,” Mayor Adams said.

Last November, Cassie Ventura filed a disturbing, lengthy lawsuit in Manhattan Federal District Court, which cited years of abuse at the hands of Diddy, her ex. Diddy settled with Cassie in less than 48 hours, but, through his attorney, Diddy maintained his innocence. Cassie’s lawsuit opened the floodgates for several more women to file similar allegations and lawsuits against Diddy. In December, Diddy released a statement claiming that all of the allegations were “people try[ing] to assassinate my character” and alleged that all of the people coming forward were “looking for a quick payday.”

That statement did not age well. On Friday, May 17, CNN exclusively hotel surveillance video from 2016 showing Diddy physically assaulting Cassie, and Diddy issued a lackluster “apology” on Sunday, May 19.

When asked to clarify whether he is, indeed, considering revoking Diddy’s Key to New York City, Adams said, “We are taking everything under analysis, and the team will come back to me with a final determination.”

New York City Mayor Eric Adams says his team is looking into how they can go about revoking Diddy’s key to the city after CNN published footage of him attacking Cassie back in 2016. Adams discussed the steps he’s taking during an interview on 1010 WINS on Monday.

“Well, listen, the action was unacceptable and all of us who looked at the video, we were probably sick to our stomach,” Adams said during the show. “Our team is doing an analysis. We never have taken a key back from anyone but the team is doing an analysis of what the next steps are.” Adams presented Diddy with the honor back in September, just two months before Cassie filed her initial lawsuit against the Bad Boy mogul.

Diddy has since released a video apologizing for the incident, which he said occurred during one of the “darkest times” of his life. He added: “I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab, I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.” He won’t be facing criminal charges regarding the situation as the statute of limitations has passed.

50 Cent Promotes Meek Mill Diss Track From G-Unit Rapper, Alludes To Diddy

50 Cent just never gives up on trolling his opps online, and he’s been having a field day this year thanks to Meek Mill and Diddy’s animosity towards him. Moreover, his latest tactic on the Philly MC was to promote a diss track from his G-Unit artist and partner Mike Knox, who released the track “Rihmeek” to diss him. Some notable lines include “You went through it with Drake and lost Nicki, Rihmeek” and “You throwing all these tantrums on Twitter and nobody scared.” “@mikeknoxofficial had a few words for Meeka that girl quit but don’t think she ain’t hold her man down. LOL,” Fif captioned the song repost on Instagram, referring to Meek supporting Diddy amid his legal scandal.

Speaking of Diddy, 50 Cent has been his biggest hater all year, whether it’s legitimately blasting him for his alleged crimes or making endless jokes and trolls about him. The most recent development in this regard was more serious, as it centered around new footage of Sean Combs assaulting Cassie and then releasing an apology video after the clip spread like wildfire. “This is why they put that tape out, they know they can’t charge him with what we saw, but they know we can’t unsee what we saw,” the Queens MC expressed. “This [apology] is not going to work, who is advising him right now? SMH bad move.”

50 Cent Trolls Meek Mill Yet Again With G-Unit Diss Track Promo

Elsewhere, 50 Cent also believes that Diddy’s alleged secret tapes are what have kept many of his close peers silent amid this whole debacle. If they actually exist, they could potentially incriminate others in the criminal accusations against the Bad Boy mogul, out them as victims, or just expose their behavior. However, the existence of this footage from his parties is unknown, unconfirmed, and as of writing this article, purely speculative. But folks think that this isn’t the end.

For example, many outlets, celebrities who have commented on the matter, and social media users believe there is even more evidence out there. We’ll never really know unless some of this alleged evidence drops like a bombshell, much like the hotel hallway footage of Diddy and Cassie. But 50 Cent’s constant trolling will be there regardless, and Meek Mill might not be a big fan of this recent move. Is a response track on the way? Stay tuned…

Following the online release of a video showing the founder of Bad Boy Records abusing his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, Sean “Diddy” Combs finds himself back at the center of the discourse. Diddy has apologized after the violent video caused an enormous amount of backlash. The apology video for the music mogul was then parodied by comedian Desi Banks. Still, there were differing opinions on Desi Banks. A few people on social media thought the spoof was humorous. Banks has come under fire from detractors for allegedly trivializing a serious problem so quickly after the news emerged.

Some explicit video of Diddy and his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel in 2016 surfaced online on Friday. The singer is seen being chased by the CEO of Bad Boy Records along a corridor in the unsettling video. He kicks and pulls her to the ground before trying to take her back to his room. Since then, the video has gone viral, inspiring indignation among several peers and users of social media on the purported attack. Desi Banks took the apology from Diddy as an opportunity to make a parody video. Many fans have called out the comedian’s choice to do so.

Social Media was split on Desi Banks Diddy’s apology video parody. A few individuals who are presumably fans of the comedian were adamant that they people are just upset for no reason. They imply that if anyone else made the parody, they would think it is funny. Others just thought the skit was inappropriate. Many argued that the subject matter and seriousness of what’s going on means it’s kind of insensitive to try and make comedic content out of it. All in all, people are talking about Desi Banks and his decision to make a Diddy Parody.

Desi Banks became well-known online thanks to his humorous Vine skits, which he then took to YouTube and X. Additionally, he had appearances in movies including Little (2019), which starred Regina Hall, Issa Rae, and Marsai Martin. Clearly, fans are not buying what the OnlyFans subscriber is selling. That said, it is interesting that some fans are now defending the relationship between Rose and Druski. One has to wonder how the fans will change their minds next week.
