The Milwaukee Bucks appeared in high spirits ahead of their Wednesday night game against Cleveland. The team’s official social media account posted a pre-game video of the players joyfully dancing together on the court. This is in spite of the shock firing of first-year head coach Adrian Griffin earlier this week. Griffin was let go despite coaching the team to a 30-13 record, primarily over concerns about the team’s defensive efficiency.
In his place, the team hired Doc Rivers, poaching the veteran coach from ESPN. Rivers was the Bucks’ primary choice given his experience, availability, and history of coaching superstar tandems. Furthermore, Rivers has a strong history in Wisconsin. His jersey hangs in the rafters at Marquette University, where he was an All-American. Rivers’ first game with the team has not yet been confirmed.
Meanwhile, the Bucks’ star players were understandably surprised by the sudden coaching change. “I’ve got to trust the front office, I’ve got to trust the ownership group that they consider the bigger picture. My job is to be the best version of myself, to lead this team out there and help win games. Their job is to create the best team possible and the best atmosphere around the team possible that they believe gives us a better chance to win a championship. But yeah, I do think [firing coach Griffin] was a surprise,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said after beating the Bucks.

Ryan Murphy’s FX series American Sports Story just cast the lead role to play Aaron Hernandez’s fiancee. As exclusively reported by Deadline, Jaylen Barron, the 25-year-old actress best known for Showtime’s Shameless and Free Rein on Netflix, is tapped to play the troubled late NFL star’s better half, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez. Murphy’s anthology limited series at the network is the newest project from the American Horror Story creator.

If you forgot, his fiancé Jenkins stood by his side during his trial and subsequent conviction for the murder of his friend Odin Lloyd. The indictment stemmed from the wild 2012 double murder of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado. However, ICYMI Hernandez was acquitted on all charges in 2017. Then, only days after being found not guilty, Hernandez committed suicide after he was found dead in his jail cell.
Barron is also known for playing Trish in the Starz adaptation of Blindspotting. Barron joins a cast alongside Catfish Jean, Tony Yazbeck, Lindsay Mendez, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. Josh Andres Rivera will star as the titular Aaron Hernandez.

However, they didn’t mind at all, and walked hand-in-hand, as the footage shows. Soon after, they announced their upcoming Str8 to the Klub Tour with Tyga. It was set to kick off in September 2023, and finish in Las Vegas on November 21, 2023.
September – December 2023: YG And Saweetie Seemingly On The Rocks
Following their tour announcement in July, fans of the rap couple were excited to see their faves perform. However, in an unexpected turn of events, fans found out later in September that the tour had been canceled. In addition, it was soon discovered that the pair were no longer following each other on Instagram. As expected, this set fans into a speculating spree once again, with many suggesting that they had broken up. However, on December 28, they were spotted together at the Beverly Hills Hotel. This sighting eased the breakup rumors, but only slightly.
On January 15, 2024, it was reported that YG and Saweetie had called it quits on their relationship. Moreover, YG was also spotted on his ex Kehlani’s comment section on Instagram. After his and Saweetie’s last sighting in December, this news came out of left field. As part of Paul’s vlog, which was uploaded to his YouTube channel, he filmed a recently deceased individual that he and his friends encountered. While Paul had been controversial prior to the video, the vlog was one of the first incidents that defined Paul as one of the site’s most divisive creators. And from what Paul has now revealed, it appeared to cost him a relationship with one of his heroes.
Elsewhere, Logan Paul recently announced a $2.3M CryptoZoo buyback, purchasing all Base Egg and Base Animal assets. The move will finally mean that investors who accused the influencer of running a crypto scam will be able to recoup their investment in the NFT video game project. In an accompanying statement, Paul said he had “only the best intentions” and that the game’s aborted release was due to “regulatory hurdles that would need to be cleared that I did not originally understand”.
Additionally, Paul announced a lawsuit against CryptoZoo’s developers as well as Jake “Crypto King” Greenbaum. Paul has accused the two men of leaking classified information about the project, causing external traders to capitalize and devalue the market for ZOO tokens. Their actions, Paul alleges, sunk the project’s market value from $130M to $26M. The defendants have not yet responded to Paul’s allegations.
Kanye West came out with The Life Of Pablo back in 2016. Overall, this is a project that fans were extremely excited about. Although there were some detractors to the album at first, it is now considered as another classic in his discography. Moreover, there were some interesting singles that were released prior to the full release. One of those tracks was none other than “No More Parties In LA.” In fact, just a week ago today, this song turned eight years old. It is a song that features Kendrick Lamar and has some of Kanye’s best rapping of the last decade.
Ye has delivered plenty of tracks that feature great rapping over the years. However, “No More Parties In LA” is something truly special. Kendrick was at the top of his game during this era, so to have him on the song came as a surprise. Moreover, Kanye outrapped Kendrick at points. Sure, Kanye had a much longer part, but no matter. Ye was going ballistic on the song, and it made for one of the most memorable moments on all of TLOP.
These days, this track continues to live in infamy. Whenever Ye gives us a poorly phrased “Burger King” bar, fans reflect fondly on perhaps the last great verse he ever gave us. Hopefully, Ye gets back to this version of himself sometime in the future. At this point, it is hard to believe it will ever happen.
