Meek Mill Responds To Diss From Rapper Dee-1 Against Him, Rick Ross & Jim Jones

Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and Jim Jones recently caught some strays from underground New Orleans rapper Dee-1, who called them out on Sway’s Universe recently. Moreover, the specific reason has to do with these artists’ content matter, which the Christian MC sees as harmful and thinks they “could do better.” Of course, this is notable because of Rozay and Meek’s upcoming collaborative album, Too Good To Be True. In addition, the Dipset boss has also been quite vocal in their support of them throughout this project’s rollout. Furthermore, the Philly MC was the first to directly respond to this diss, and we’ll see if more fallout comes from it. “Nah we do everything lol,” Meek Mill began his response to Dee-1 on his Instagram Story. Sure, it’s not a full-on response track or diss record, but addressing the contention at hand is an important first step.

Nevertheless, he continued: “I was rapping this way when I became the face of reform. That’s how I got there y’all forgot that fast.” Meanwhile, this is what Dee-1 had to say about Rick Ross, Jim Jones, and Meek Mill. “Jim Jones, you could do better, brother,” he began on radio waves. “I love you too much to not be honest with you. Rick Ross, you could do better, brother. Meek Mill, you could do better, brother! I love you too much not to be honest with you. Oh, you the face of prison reform? Or are you sitting here on your new song with Ross talking about getting somebody murked, and shot at the red light? Which one is it, bro? ‘Cause I did a shoe giveaway in my city and gave out 1,300 pairs of your shoes because they said ‘Reform’ underneath them.

“I love that you partnered with a major shoe company and you out here pushing prison reform,” he continued. “But this man glorifying getting people killed as of a week ago!’ Like, what are you doing, bro? Lil’ Snoop really got killed, that broke your heart. You wear him around your neck. Why are you glorifying the same thing? The rap game, the hip-hop industry is great at cooking up some delicious poison. I don’t call you out because I got a problem with you, man. Like, I wish we could go get lunch right now, me and any of them. I love you too much to not be honest with you. That’s what it is, bro. So yeah, if anybody feel bad about being called out, it’s like, let’s talk. Let’s talk about it and let’s just figure out what we can do better.

“But at the end of the day, guess what’s not changing?,” Dee-1 continued. “The word of God ain’t changing. There’s death and life in the power of the tongue, Proverbs 18 and 21. That’s not changing. Trying with this foolish argument that, ‘It’s just entertainment, this ain’t real!’ How many more people gotta die in the hood, man? How many people, at the end of the day, lives gotta get ruined and poisoned and how many rappers gotta get killed for us to be like, ‘Come on, man’? When it’s hip-hop, it’s a whole culture. It’s implied that this is autobiographical and this is non-fiction tales that people are telling. How much does that have to happen? Don’t hit me with that. Sexyy Red Suggests Khia’s Broke, Claims She’d Get “Dragged” In Person

Last week, Khia popped off on fans comparing her to current female MCs like Sexyy Red and Sukihana, insisting that she’s nothing like them. According to the “My Neck, My Back” performer, her music centers more around women’s empowerment, while their music doesn’t. “It’s respect me, it’s snatch the motherf*ckin’ cat back. It’s don’t trust no motherf*ckin’ n***a get your own sh*t,” she said. “It ain’t eat no n***a’s a** and suck no n***a’s toes.” Her harsh words prompted a response from Sexyy Red, who claimed that Khia was simply being a “hater.”

Things only escalated from there, as Khia shared yet another video going in on the “Pound Town” rapper. “Your a** is being charged with not being ashamed of your God d**n self,” she said. “Doing h*e s**t then being mad about it. Being a deadbeat mama, a deadbeat daddy, a deadbeat daughter, and a deadbeat Young Thug lookalike.” Khia went on, telling Sexyy Red that she looks like a Backwood, among other insults.

Sexyy Red Continues To Clap Back

Sexyy Red then responded again, claiming that Khia’s just “jealous” of her success and “miserable” with her own life. She’s now shared another statement on the hitmaker, suggesting that she’s broke. Sexyy also appears to think that if they met up in person, things wouldn’t end well for Khia. “Khia will get dem ol bones dragged in real life but she don’t got enough money to b in the same room as me,” she wrote alongside a kiss emoji. Fortunately, it doesn’t look like the St. Louis native has let the insults get to her, despite countless commenters claiming that Khia came out on top.

Big Ten Schools Call For Action On Michigan Sign-Stealing

Representatives from 13 of the schools in college athletics’ Big Ten Conference have urged the conference commissioner to take action against the 14th school, Michigan. This comes after a wide-ranging and elaborate sign-stealing operation was exposed and is now being investigated by the NCAA. Five sources familiar with the call told ESPN that the coaches demanded immediate action against Michigan. “Collectively, the coaches want the Big Ten to act — right now. What are we waiting on? We know what happened,” one source summarized. As a result, the Conference scheduled a call between the commissioner and school athletic directors for later in the week.

Coaches reportedly used “tainted”, “fraudulent”, and “unprecedented” to describe Michigan’s actions. Furthermore, coaches pointed to Michigan’s 22-1 conference record over the last three years, the period of time that the sign-stealing operation has reportedly been in place, as proof of its effect on the conference. “People don’t understand the seriousness of it. How it truly impacted the game plan. To truly know if it’s a run or a pass, people don’t understand how much of an advantage that was for Michigan,” another source said.

Michigan Sign-Stealing Operation Explained

The Michigan sign-stealing operation was first reported two weeks ago by Yahoo! and has steadily grown in scope. The investigation has centered on Connor Stalions, a long-time staffer within the football program. Stalions is found to have bought tickets to 35 games at 17 venues over the last three years. This includes 12 Big 10 schools. While in attendance, Stalions is believed to have recorded the sidelines in order to capture footage of a team’s play-calling signs. While sign-stealing is not prohibited, in-person scouting of future opponents and sign-stealing via electronic means is banned under NCAA rules. Stalions is currently on paid suspension from his position.

Furthermore, a former Division III coach has claimed that Stalions paid him to record footage at least one game involving a future Michigan opponent. While most of Michigan’s coaching staff has denied knowledge of the sign-stealing operation, the school said that it is cooperating with the Big Ten and NCAA in their investigations. Michigan are currently 8-0 and lead the Big Ten East. Their season will likely be decided with a matchup against Ohio State in the regular season finale.
