Picture Of Lil Baby And Chrisean Rock Talking Surfaces Online

Despite his best efforts, Lil Baby seems to have gotten caught up in the Blueface and Chrisean Rock drama. He originally entered it through a beef with Blueface. The two rappers exchanged some indirect disses aimed at each other on social media and in music videos. Ultimately though, they settled things. Baby spoke on Blueface’s improved treatment of Chrisean and mentioned specifically that he was done having opps. Normally that would have been the end of things but Chrisean wasn’t done.

In a back-and-forth on Twitter between her and Blueface, the rapper brought up her sister in a tweet describing her as a “real one.” Chrisean answered by referencing the fresh beef with Lil Baby and calling him a real one, which the rapper didn’t take kindly to. He ended up going on a Twitter tirade making sure that Chrisean knew to stop summoning him into her business. That even prompted a response from Blueface who couldn’t help but laugh at Baby clapping back at her even after all she praised him. Now, new photos of an encounter between Chrisean and Baby are emerging and fans are trying to fit the pieces together.

Lil Baby And Chrisean Rock Photo Emerges

In the comments of the post, fans aren’t convinced it adds much to the story. “Oh no not two adults talking,” the top comment on the post sarcastically asserts. Others agreed leaving comments like “That’s regular conversation,” and “pls put this to rest.”

Lil Baby is also still in the news cycle for a shooting that took place at one of his shows in Memphis last month. Details emerged after the police eventually arrested the man responsible. Internet sleuths dug up collaborations between him and the man who was shot almost immediately after the news broke. Baby has still had very little to say about the situation since it happened. What do you think of the new photo of Lil Baby and Chrisean Rock? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kelly Rowland Says Nipsey Hussle Inspired Her To Raise Her Sons With “Integrity”

Kelly Rowland says that Nipsey Hussle has inspired her to focus on raising her boys “to have integrity.” She discussed parenthood during an interview with Kindred for its “Black Joy Issue.” Rowland is currently married to Tim Weatherspoon. They share two sons, born in 2014 and 2021.

“I just want to get this right,” Rowland began. “I want to really be a part of bringing some really amazing young men forth into the world. That was my only prayer. … My only prayer was to have really great young Black men in this world who were sure of themselves and didn’t have to be told who they were. I really cared about that because the narrative is tough as it is.”

Rowland continued: “I wanted my boys to have integrity and I got that from Nipsey Hussle. It’s amazing to me that he would talk to his kids about making the right decision even when no one is watching. That was everything. Nobody knows how much, how hard you work, but you do it because you love it. I want them to be the kind of men who are proud of themselves. That’s really important to me — being good decision-makers.” From there, she brought up the importance of taking an interest in what your child cares about. “If we’re gonna grow our kids, like, let’s be lost in their interests and the things that bring them joy. Let’s have joy with them about it,” she said.

Rowland also admitted that she’s had to learn that her mother’s parenting choices weren’t always the right ones. “I hate to mess up. But I’m literally giving myself grace. I’m learning that maybe all of the decisions that my mom made were not the greatest decisions. And I’m trying to change that this generation,” she added.

Here Are The Musical Guests For ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ This Week

After 148 days, the Writers Guild Of America strike is over. The most immediate apparent change in light of that is this week’s return of late-night TV shows. That also means the return of late-night TV musical performances, so here are the artists taking the stage on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert this week.

Louis Cato — Monday, October 2

Cato, who took over as The Late Show‘s bandleader after Jon Batiste’s departure in 2022, was a natural choice to perform on the show’s first night back. He delivered a rendition of “Reflections,” the title track from his latest album.

Boygenius — Tuesday, October 3

This performance is perfect timing for Boygenius: The trio (Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker) just announced their new EP The Rest and they’re playing at the Hollywood Bowl later this month.

Japanese Breakfast — Wednesday, October 4

Michelle Zauner became a literary star over the past couple years with her successful memoir Crying In H Mart. Her latest Japanese Breakfast album is 2021’s Jubilee, so a song from that feels likely for her Colbert performance.

Thursday, October 5

As of this post, there is currently no musical guest listed for the Thursday episode, per TV Guide.

Friday, October 6

As of this post, the guests for the Friday episode have yet to be announced, per TV Guide.

Who Is In The Musicians Union?

With the WGA and SAG strikes in the headlines for the past several months, unions have been at the forefront of pop culture for some time. Plenty of music listeners have likely found themselves whether there is a similar guild for recording artists and musicians… and, as it turns out, yes, there is! In fact, there are two: One is the American Federation Of Musicians, while the other is SAG-AFTRA’s sound recordings division. This may lead to another question:

Who Is In The Musicians Union?

According to the American Federation Of Musicians website, 70,000 musicians comprise the AFM. These musicians are generally instrumentalists who work in the realms of film, television, on Broadway, and in live settings such as orchestras, backup bands, and more.

Some examples include International Vice President Dave Pomeroy, who has played electric and acoustic basses on over 500 albums with stars like Elton John, Willie Nelson, and more. The AFM’s International President, Tino Gagliardi, was a trumpet player in New York City, playing with the Met Opera, New York Philharmonic, NYC Ballet, and others.

And while this is good news for those musicians who play in orchestras for black-tie events, there’s a still a ways to go in terms of organizing on behalf of artists in the popular music field, who negotiate directly with major and independent record labels — and often feel like they got burned in the process.

Dr. Dre Divulges On When He Contemplated Retirement From Music

One of the West Coast’s biggest rap icons of all time, Dr. Dre, recently revealed that he was going to call it quits. This all took place back in 1992, around the release of one of the greatest rap albums of all time, The Chronic. Where did Dre talk about this? Well, you can find it in LL Cool J’s new book that has just been released to the public. With the 50th anniversary of hip-hop being celebrated this year, LL wanted to commemorate it with a new book. Many publications and events have paid homage to this incredible five-decade-long run of culture and music, but this might be the most special one of all.

HipHopDX says that the title of the new work is The Streets Win: 50 Years of Hip Hop Greatness. What is also really cool about this title is that LL included entries from plenty of legends in the game. You can find stories from Eminem, Nas, Snoop Dogg, A Tribe Called Quest, and plenty more. One of them was Dr. Dre and he spoke very candidly about the crossroads he faced.

Dre felt his creativity was stagnating and after the label refused to pay him, it all started to unravel for him. “Eazy-E and Jerry Heller were trying to starve me out and refused to pay the money they owed me. I was driving on the 101 freeway headed to the studio and, on that drive, I was thinking about quitting.” However, something awoke inside of him. About a week had passed and he began finding a rhythm and it just clicked for him. After all of that learning and deep thinking, Dre thinks this moment changed his life forever. “At this point in my life, I see the value of surrounding myself with people who push me forward. I don’t want to be around anyone I can’t learn something from.”

What are your initial thoughts on Dr. Dre saying he would have retired from music back in the early 90s? How much do you think it would have affected the rap world? Out of all of Dre’s songs which one is your favorite of his? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around Dr. Dre, as well as the rest of the music world.
